Nadelen: "I have been told at the airport that I had an unconfirmed flight and was told that I could not travel to Istanbul. I am still at my departure city, in Chicago. I bought my tickets just like anybody would, go on the website, pick the flights and pay. But someone did not do their job correctly and did not correctly confirm my flight. I paid for this incompetence by missing Christmas and a business meeting. Do not think it will never happen to you, it is just a matter of time that this kind of bad service catches up to you. The system is so disconnected or careless that it can't even figure out I couldn't take the flight which it is is asking me a review for."

Then it was understood that there's over booking on the flight then they again lost time for searching for volunteers to drop their flight and take a further flight."

Nadelen: "I booked tickets via Delta, operated by KLM. They lost both of my check in bags in September, and it happened again today for the same scheduled flights. Had 4 hours of layover and KLM still wasn’t able to manage it."

Voordelen: "The flight AMS to MEX was smooth, very helpful personnel on board, we enjoyed a bit more space and the seat seemed a bit more comfortable."
Nadelen: "Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Hopefully that will become a reality someday very soon! Oh, and also the crew on this flight was exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you so much!"
Nadelen: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

Voordelen: "The aircraft felt clean and quite spacious (decent legroom). Cabin crew was friendly and everything went as expected. Bonus points for the Beemster cheese sandwich (I was totally disappointed when they served the food, but more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese - I even bought some afterwards, from the Albert Heijn just outside the security area)."
Nadelen: "Very odd queue separation at boarding. Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

Nadelen: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Nadelen: "Unaccompanied minor flying to Lisbon overnight. Bag was lost. No real effort to assist. Bags of unaccompanied minor should be treated with priority."

Nadelen: "Inexplicably, our preassigned seats were changed at checkin and we were put in bulkhead. This particular Boeing aircraft is pretty poorly designed. Especially the bulkhead in premium economy."

Nadelen: "This airplane must be the oldest in the fleet. No USB, no charging, no touchscreen technology, no plugs, no bluetooth."

Nadelen: "Exceptionally unhelpful customer service when asking about extra kilos/bags. Just quoted the online info back at us. We simply wanted to know how much would be charged if the bag was 1-2kgs overweight. We could not get a straight answer, just quoted the unclear company policy. Extremely frustrating and annoying. KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"

Nadelen: "Boarding was delayed a little due to weather as was takeoff. Cant blame them for weather but the connection was very tight."

Nadelen: "Le vol a été dérouté sur Lyon pour des vents dangereux. Seul hic, l’ensemble des autres vols atterrissants à Genève on tous pu atterrir dans la même tranche horaire. Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

"In Mexico City they need more workers to help you get to your gate.Lost my connection due to bad communication on screen changing departure gate in Mexico City .They admitted there was a change but said it was my responsibility of asking ,I could not get information there was not enough employees to ask. I end up going with a different airline early morning next day..or I would of been there till Tuesday night!"

Nadelen: "The baggage fee was excessive probably because Kayak had a discounted rate. Next time I will just book with Aero Mexico, it´s the same cost anyway."

The layover was 8 hrs and our connection we waited 8 hrs for was overbooked so we got put on standby. I bought the damn tickets 3 months ago and this is the shit I get."

Nadelen: "Passengers use face masks for the most part, but encouragement (not enforcement) by crew might be considered."

Voordelen: "Nothing. There were no Covid-19 measures in place and no social distancing. Unsafe. Crew without masks."

Nadelen: "Pour un vol international de plus de 4 heures est plutôt surprenant, et desagreable, le fait que l'equipage de l'avion n'ait jamais offert de rafraichissements pendant le vol (never mind de nourriture). Il a fallu que les passagers demandent, à la pièce, d'avoir quelque chose à boire, pour en avoir"

Nadelen: "Les sièges business devrait être un petit peu plus large au niveau des épaules en position lit. Mes épaules touchées des 2 côtes. Aussi prévoit un petit peu plis de place au niveau des pieds aussi en position lit."

Nadelen: "Nous avons dû attendre plus d'une heure sans nouvelles avant de se faire dire que nous aurions encore 1 h de plus de retard. Nous sommes partie avec près de 3 h de retard. Les écrans tombaient en panne de tous les passagers et l'équipage semblaient ne pas s'en soucier. Pourtant un redémarrage a réglé le problème. (fait a la demande des passagers)."

Nadelen: "Probably one of the most tedious flights of my life. Unexplained delays while sitting on the tarmac and not allowed to get up to go the bathroom because “we could be leaving any minute”. Repeated indications that we were cleared to move, and then no movement for another 15 minutes before assuring us they were cleared to move. Everything about this airline, from check-in to boarding to taxiing to deplaning to baggage claim felt like it took 60-80% longer than it had to, with no real customer service to be found. This is an airline that does nothing more than provide passengers with a way of getting from point A to point B, eventually; getting there on time, or in comfort, was clearly a luxury their airline was not positioned to deliver. First and last time flying Aeromexico, especially with Internet, Volaris, and other carriers plowing the same routes."
