Nadelen: "I was not able to buy from the duty free discounted offers on the plane. The discounted shopping panflet was not on my LA/Zurich flight.... so I didn't see it and did not buy then.... And on my second part of the trip Zurich/Nice they refused to sell me to me from the Duty Free because they didn't have time..... :( The dark hair flight attendant in the back of that plane was not informative or nice....I had to talk to the head flight attendant in the front of the plane, she was more professional! Other than that everything was good!"

Nadelen: "Boarding chaotic- no clear lines people pushing ahead which I am not used to- my handluggage was ok’ed at origin in US- was pulled aside in Zurich based on my “ ticket”- it was perfectly well suited and not oversized. In plane half of overhead compartments were filled with coats when told that these should go under seats. No consistency between announcements and behavior of crew."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was very enjoyable. The only negative aspect was that the first leg of the flight was delayed long enough that I almost missed my connecting flight and my baggage was lost."
Nadelen: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

Nadelen: "If I were a small person I would have been almost comfortable the seats were so narrow with no leg room so that trying to find a place for myself was laughable, unfortunately not the funny laughable. There is not a chance that I will ever again book an international flight on Swiss. I hope you share this with the airline."

Nadelen: "On my return journey I was told at check in that there were delays that would mean missing my onward journey from Zurich. I was then rerouted through Istanbul with the promise that I would be well compensated for my troubles. I was told that I would receive a certain amount for every hour I was delayed from my original arrival at end destination. Well I arrived 8 or more hours after I had originally expected (and the reason I booked with Swiss Air was because of the timing and the apparent luxury of the flight). Once I got back home and tried to pursue this amazing compensation I received some of the worst customer service ever and received 0 compensation for the experience. Very disappointed and will never fly swiss airlines again."

Nadelen: "Muslim meal does not mean all Muslims eat curry. It’s rediculous that we cant have a decent English breakfast instead you get curry or some form of curry for breakfast, lunch and supper. Your so called Muslim meals are not suitable for kids!! There is no such thing as a Muslim meal either. It’s simply called Halal otherwise then everyone else’s meals should be called Christian or Jewish meals etc."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed. There was a terrible backlog in Security at Frankfurt Airport. This is not Lufthansa's fault but considering how important Frankfurt is, you would think the airlines would say something. The flight was late. There were no proper queues for boarding. Everone was mixed up, business, gold card, economy, and only one person doing the chekcing of boarding passes. It was not the best process."

Voordelen: "I flew premium economy from Hong Kong to Frankfurt on the A340-600. The crew was excellent, attentive and friendly. They always have a great attitude and this has been consistent with my previous experiences with Lufthansa. The seat and meal were average for premium economy, but the crew more than made up for it."
Nadelen: "The seats were quite hard and lacking in padding in premium economy. The meal was average and nothing to bring home to."

In the counters at the airport, we asked if it was possible a solution as I suffer with big anxiety and needed to be together my partner during the flight, and they answered us in an extremely rude way. Luckily we could change it with other passangers inside the plane by ourselves. Not a fault of Lufthansa but something that made the flight HORRIBLE was an extremelly smelly and very heavy guy seated next to me that used half of my seat and made me be really uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "The crew woman that assist us in Barcelona Airport counters for the check-in was really rude asking very personal question that I still don't understand why and questioning our passports without any reason. My partner and I felt very uncomfortable and that was a totally unnecessary situation. After that everything was totally great during the flight."

Voordelen: "Flight was operated by United Airlines. Easy boarding, friendly crew. Pillows, blankets, and headphones provided plus free house wine and beer as well as the usual coffee, tea, soda. Seatback video did not work for me, but I had no plans to use it as I needed to sleep on the flight. Excellent vegetarian dinner of vegetable korma, chickpeas and rice. Heated snack was not meatless, though, so as a Catholic flying on Friday had to pass."
Nadelen: "Vegetarian option (or meatless Friday option) for snacks as well as meals would be nice. They are in the process of changing to personal device entertainment, so seatback screen issue will not be a problem in the future."

Voordelen: "Everything was top of the line but the baggage fees are exorbitant. Had I known I'd pay $100 for a second bag & $200 for a 3rd on my flight to India, I would have booked with a different carrier."

Nadelen: "I had to wait an hour for my bags because they were not priority tagged. Your crew ignores passenger calls. No one came to me for half an hour when I pressed the call button at least 25 times. I finally had to shout out to one of them who was passing by"

Nadelen: "Nothing good to say about this flight. The plane was old with no entertainment. The sits where very compact and not comfortable at all. The food was a sweet bread and water. The flight attendants were rushing and will take a while if you needed anything. I felt like I was taking a bus with graffiti all over the place."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!"

In the mean time, no drinks, no snacks, nothing. So we should depart at 18:00 but it became 19:30. Our first drinks and meal was no earlier then 21:00. The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

Nadelen: "Taking off late caused me stress because I had transferring flight within less than two hours in transit originally. So we arrived later about 50 minutes so I had to manage my situation and find my next gate and be on time. And an other thing that I disliked was that I was allowed to have only one baggage which was very unusual for international flight between two countenances. And the crew was not polite enough so she made fun of my Cary-on. In short, I expected more from KLM which is famous for them being "Royal" but not acting as one of them."

Voordelen: "Nice new Boeing 787, lots of space."
Nadelen: "Seat could use a bit more cushion, a bit thin for a long haul service. Also, had to take a bus to the aircraft which slowed the boarding."

Actually, they could have waited for us for say 10 mins and we would have made it. But they didn't and we had to stay a night in Amsterdam, arriving in Rome the next morning."

Nadelen: "The check in and seat allocation process is awful. Boarding was chaotic with passengers still standing as we rolled back (quite sensibly the pilot did not want to miss the slot). Sitting around rows 19/20 means that even on an a two hour flight, you risk attendants never reaching you with the trolley."

Voordelen: "Doordat wij op het bovendeks zaten konden we meteen boarden. Vriendelijke purser die overal de tijd voor nam."
Nadelen: "Doordat 3 mensen zich niet gemeld hadden, zaten er 4 koffers te veel aan boord. Ga maar met de hand zoeken met 15 Afrikaanse mensen in een A389."

Voordelen: "British airways have always been good and my best airline to fly."
Nadelen: "This occasion, the manager was So rude to me and even called me a liar in front of too many people. I don't speak or understand French and the woman really embarrassed my life. I checked-in online before I got to the airport and I mistakenly went to terminal 1 instead of terminal 2. So by the time I realised and got to terminal one, the baggage collection stand had closed because I was there by 15:18. To make the long story short, I got through the security where I was delayed for 20mins searching through my things and when I asked about time, the security said the flight won't leave with out me and they would inform them about the delay before I get to my departure gate. Anyway, I got to the gate with some time left and this extremely rude woman whom I was told is the manager insulted the living day light out of my life and turned me back. So I didn't fly with BA in the end. No matter the situation and despite me being late, I believe things would have been handled better. And even if the manager felt I was lying, she should have been more diplomatic about it and speak to me in a good manner. I won't be recommending flying BA from Nice to anyone. That woman was so hurrible, that experience haunts me psychologically."

Connecting flights missed. I reached my final destination by a delay of 24 hrs. Luggage came after 3 days. No wheel chair provided at LHR. I have been suffering from Back pain since several years, underwent surgery. I had to walk a larger distance at LHR to hotel and back to to catch flight. Very horrible journey I had ever experienced."

Sitting down in my seat my kneeds immediately banged on the seat in front of me. Its clear that this aircraft has less leg space that then usual. And now you have to pay for all food and drink. £9 for a sandwich and G&T."

Nadelen: "I do this flight every year at this time and now BA actually charges you to choose a seat - on top of the (not cheap) hand luggage fare. And there was no apology for the delay."

Business class seats were too small and uncomfortable compared to the other airlines. Loos and facilities were not in accordance compared to the other airlines."

Nadelen: "First time this year in economy. Very disappointed that on board service is now charged. I expect to pay for a cup of tea on Ryan air but not in BA. As every one has to pay it means the service is very slow and so the trolley blocks the isle for a long time. A step in the wrong direction."

Nadelen: "(1) Some in-flight entertainment issues which meant it wasn't working for about 30minites. (2) I know the crew have a hard job and have many difficult passengers to deal with. Even so I do find there's a bit too much "attitude" shown by some members of staff. On my flight to London, a mother with a young child wanted hot water and the staff (middle aged British male) was trying to tell her repeatedly she should say "please" when she asks. She was asking politely so this behaviour was rather poor in my view."

Nadelen: "A 2330 Flight ran significantly late with a passenger delay and then de-icing. The repeated assurances of “a 10 minute or so delay” were obviously not correct. Takeoff close to 0100 was followed by drinks AND then food - my vote would be neither. Please oh please just let us sleep."

In Mexico City Airport I had missed a flight three days earlier as I'd been observing the departure screens and they'd failed to update the status of my aircraft: this time I was informed of the gate at check-in. Flight was on time and didn't do anything scary. I was lucky as my neighbour found another free seat so left me with more room."
Nadelen: "I've found Iberia to be uncaring. This flight was much the same. The food and drink service was cheap, and I felt the attendants didn't feel like they had to try to give good service. The new entertainment screens kept coming on, and I kept turning them off as I wished to sleep. Eventually I discovered they were being triggered by the electrostatic charge on the pillows that I was rearranging."

Nadelen: "Boarding process and pitiful legroom space . Iberia clearly loves showing the privileged few who have paid top dollars to be at the front , that we must be made to wait and struggle to get to our seats .Then, we have to squeeze into a tiny , pitiful space of a seat .....Even Ryanair does better !"

Nadelen: "Late. Ineffective boarding - announcement said we would board by row, but actual boarding was by mass crowding, with no attempt by crew to improve matters. No recognition of dwindling baggage storage space meant that I had to cram my suitcase under the seat, and spend the 2.5 hour flight with my legs jammed against it."

Nadelen: "Delayed flight, no AC, no food service (even to purchase)"

Voordelen: "Missed flight as scheduled changed forward by half an hour and re-organising another flight was difficult. Had to fly from another airport in Spain and transfer was without assistance. Staff did a good job at sorting a solution. The return home on BA was excellent and very efficient."

Never ever again! British Airways is incompetent!"

When we reached Rome after like 10 hrs from the scheduled time, we were offered another flight to Budapest the following day i.e.24th oct. however we couldn't take it as it was reaching much later in the day and we would have missed another of our scheduled flights to back home. The staff were unhelpful when we asked for a flight the same day. Hence we had no choice but to book another flight to Budapest the same night at an additional cost. Hence we would like to get a refund for the Rome Budapest flight which we missed coz of no fault of ours"

Nadelen: "Flight moved to split due to bad weather at Dubrovnik. No one at split was there to answer our questions. We missed our connecting flight from Rome to Budapest coz of the delay. Further our baggage was sent to Budapest when we clearly told them we missed our connecting flight and hence baggage should be sent to Rome."

Nadelen: "Assigned middle seat away from my friend who was also assigned a middle seat. Overweight sprawler on either side made for incredibly uncomfortable flight."

Voordelen: "Nothing I would not fly again with Iberia"
Nadelen: "the boarding was terrible, the let us in into the both doors and it was a complete mess. Both flights going and returning to Frankfurt were terrible"
