Staff was very nice. Seats were comfortable. We had to wait in line 30 min for boarding. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

Very tight seats and spaces, almost impossible to watch the screen or eat a meal if the seat in front of you is pushed back. Attendants were not accommodating. Two meal options were offered, pasta & beef. Ordered pasta, I was told there is no more pasta. Ordered beef meal instead, received salmon meal. Later during flight I saw attendant sitting down in their station eating pasta meals. The list goes on....
Ewr staffing had us waiting on the tarmac for 30 min dor a marshaller and someone to get the jetway to the door. Not Turkish Airlines fault on that one. Seating in economy was tighter than previous flights. An older A-330 was our plan. 6’1” with long legs, had to put my feet in the aisle for most of the flight due to lack of space

Will not fly SAS again until that policy has changed."

Nadelen: "It could have been the perfect trip, but I am not sure why SAS baggage handling is so mediocre. In both the flights from EWR to OSLO and back, every aspect of the trip was super, except for the wait for baggage. In Oslo, I estimate having waited at least a half an hour at the carousel before the bags started showing up, and the same in Newark. We had long cleared Immigration, which normally is not a speedy process, and yet still had to wait at least 20 minutes for the FIRST bag to appear on the carousel. Most annoying, particularly after a relatively long flight, and especially for transfer passengers who needed to recheck their bags to continue to other destinations."

Had we had earlier notice, I would have had time to hit the book store. Since the flight was delayed an hour, they had plenty of time to notify us earlier than just before boarding. An 8.5 hour flight without entertainment made the experience unpleasant."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed well over an hour. I was unable to check in the night before. I was finally able to check in online the afternoon of the flight, but no seats were left, so had a boarding pass with no seat assignment. Got to the gate and they sent me and about 25 other folks with no seat assignment to wait for a "colleague" who finally appeared after almost everyone else had boarded. I did get a seat, but I was one of the last to board. They ran out of salmon dinners, so the stewardess plopped a chicken dish in front of me--didn't eat since I am vegetarian. The stewardess did give me a free mini bottle of wine, which is normally free on Lufthansa. I am just not all that impressed with SAS. I will try to avoid them in the future."

Nadelen: "This was a 9 hour flight where if the lights were off, a baby would sleep. Instead, the lights were left on to encourage the purchase of food/drink and airmail knick knacks."
Voordelen: "Temperatures was good not very hot. Has a handicapped bathroom."
Nadelen: "Cabin light was only slightly dimmed during the 8 hrs flight. Then instead of gradually brighten the light. They just flip the switch to full blast. I think they are trying to sell you more duty free than letting their customers rest. Not ok!"
Voordelen: "The crew was friendly."
Nadelen: "The crew forgot to start serving the final meal until 40 minutes before we landed which resulted in them nearly throwing food at people so that they could quickly get through the plane and sit again before descent. I was not able to choose my seat and was seated in the back of the plane. Consequently this meant that every parent on the plane with two-year-olds decided that the best place to let them stretch their little legs was back by me. I work with small children so I understand that when they reach that age all they want to do is kick and punch, but I didn't want to end my vacation by having half a dozen two-year-olds punch my leg or try to crawl under my chair as they wandered nearby. I still have bruises."

Nadelen: "Crew was rude. Had to ask 3 times for a drink before I actually got it and they snarled at me about having to pay. I didn't care about paying, at that pout I would have paid $100 for some water. Seats are RIDICULOUSLY small and when the person in front of you puts their seat back it's impossible to do anything. Forgot having your tray table down."

Nadelen: "The air conditioning didn't go on until take off. There were no options for food. All alcoholic beverages were not complementary and priced too high. I got sick after eating the meal that was provided. i reserved a seat but at check in the computer assigned me a different seat number. I was flying with a family member and instead of sitting next to them I had to sit next to a stranger."

Nadelen: "On the eve of my departure, I was informed that my return flight had been cancelled and rescheduled without: any offer of compensation, or, an offer of alternative flight arrangements. Pleas to address the situation were totally ignored. This, I believe, is an unconscionable way to run an airline."

Nadelen: "The boarding for the U.S.-bound flight in Iceland was a mess, but I guess that's the airport's/security fault; it was crowded, confusing, and disorganized"

Voordelen: "Food on business class was good. The coffee was excellent."
Nadelen: "I had to wait almost one hour at check in. The person in charge said there were "issues" with my visa. She allowed me to board to Reykjavik and said the issues would be solved as I flew. I had to check in again at Reykjavik. There was no "issue" with my visa and I was received normally at my destination. Comfort level on business class was sub-par and options on entertainment center very limited."
Voordelen: "You’re going for no frills. Competitive pricing maybe but consider baggage situation first. We went transatlantic and paid for a bag using economy light fare to make it work. Only needed one checked bag. Kids even in economy light get a free meal - though none are heated. Cabin is ok. Flight attendants were nice. even asked another passenger to move so I could have a seat for my lo infant even though I hadn’t paid for a seat for him. There was space of the flight so I didn’t feel badly about this. WiFi was affordae and generally reliable. I had a turkey pretzel bread wedge that was tasty."
Nadelen: "Witnessed many customers checking in who thought a bag was included. Entertainment is ok but screens have limited kid activities. Each leg of my flight took off 15-20 min late easily. Overall this wasn’t bad as it was made up in-air. Except one layover was only an hour, And cut it a bit close clearing passport control and traveling with two kids. No time to even see Kaflavik or pick up food or drinks. We ran to the final boarding call after clearing passport control. Also not good was that they don’t offer gate check on strollers. On a departure, you can use your stroller all the way up to the gate, but you get it back with any checked baggage at baggage claim, so you won’t have a stroller for layovers in Keflavík or clearing customs on either end. That was a pain. Strollers came up after all baggage. Not good for traveling families. Kids should be first especially after a 6 hour flight which was probably a second leg."
Voordelen: "I had sprained my ankle the day before my flights, and the crew were all very nice and accommodating for me."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that when I booked my flight, I was misled to believe that my checked baggage was included. The message said that "cabin baggage was included", but since when is cabin baggage NOT included?? I was surprised to find out when I was checking in that I had to pay an extra 50 Euros to check my luggage in, which I was really not happy about since the flight itself was already so expensive."
Nadelen: "The check-in process was horrible. It took over an hour to drop off our bags and get a boarding pass."
Voordelen: "Good movies/tv and awesome sandwich. Loved the extra legroom, too!"
Nadelen: "No organization for how to line up to board. Got through a line, went to another waiting area, and than another line to the plane."

Voordelen: "I was so tired during my day flight that I put on my eye mask and neck pillow and went to sleep. A flight attendant was thoughtful enough to put a blanket on me, which I appreciated as it was quite cold."

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Nadelen: "Boarding seemed disorganized and took longer than expected; however I think this had more to do with the airport."

Voordelen: "Everything went okay for us on this flight. In the future, I will suggest to my wife, who books air travel for us to read the fine print. The cost to check a bag was $100.00 which would have run us $300.00 for the trip: Boston to Brussels with a layover in Reykjavik, but on the return Brussels to Reykjavik with four days in Iceland and the return to Boston, so there goes the cheap flight! I did enjoy the in-flight movie and a documentary on the return trip as well."
Nadelen: "My own earphones on the flight from Brussels to Iceland did not work. I could not plug them into the system."
Voordelen: "My exit aisle seat was just great, with no one on either side of me !!!!! Very kind airplane staff. I had a great sleep."

Nadelen: "Multi-hour delays - strike induced on outbound flight, weather induced on return flight. Email notifications were nice but inconsistent. Expensive food."
Voordelen: "Second time I have flown to Brussels with Iceland Air. I love their customer service and especially the flight route. My flight going over was cancelled due to weather. I called their reservation office , had to wait on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes , but it was worth it. The reservation agent found me a new flight on LH, she explained I would get a conformation about 3 hours after our conversation with the flight information and new txt information. I was able to check in with LH on line that evening. Iceland Air had every pre assigned seats for me."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Kevlavik is pretty awful. No seating around gate areas. You have to stand in line for about 30 minutes to then have to get on shuttle to be driven to plane where you have to walk on stairs to get to plane, or in some cases you actually get to board from the terminal, which happened yesterday. I have MS,and sometimes standing for long periods of time and then having to climb up stairs is difficult for me. I also see a lot of elderly people and parents with babies having difficulty with this boarding process. Their airport really needs major expansion for the amount of people that travel thru their. Seating araes around their gates should be a priority."
Voordelen: "There was entertainment and free water (unlike Wow airlines)"
Nadelen: "The last bite of my oatmeal included a rock, it looked like quartz."
Nadelen: "The flight was fine, but it took over an hour to obtain our luggage! Was probably an issue with Newark airport staff, not Icelandair. No idea what the problem was, except that an announcement was made about 45 minutes after debarking that the delay was "weather-related". Huh?? They can't remove luggage from a plane in the rain? I would gladly have gone on the tarmack in my raingear to retrieve my bag rather than wait over an hour. We had a family member waiting for us for 2 hours!"

Nadelen: "Airline should provide a free snack such as a small sandwich, a small salad or a pastry. It is not right that during a long flight no free refreshments are offered."

Nadelen: "Unfortunately we were herded into a tiny waiting area, pushed up against one another waiting for a bus to take us to the plane. The wait was unnecessarily long and the room very hot. Then again we were held in a crampt and very warm bus to the aircraft. Passengers inside the bus, pushed open some of the windows to give us a little fresh cool air. Finally we exited into the rain and wind to very slowly board the aircraft in no order, which led to people standing out on a slick staircase getting rather wet prior to entering. One of the worst boarding plans I've experienced."

L’attente est beaucoup trop longue et tous les passagers ayant eu une escale avec TAP ont raté l’avion.

Nadelen: "Nous sommes arrivé 15min avant le décollage et nous nous somme vu refuser l'embarquement. La prise en charge par la suite était catastrophique. Et cela decale toutes nos vacances et engendre des frais supplémentaires."

Le départ sur Paris étant en retard le personnel aurai pu faire sortir en priorité les personnes ayant une correspondance et nous affréteur une navette pour que nous puissions prendre notre vol. Nous n'avons pas pu monter dans l'autre avion."

Nadelen: "Mon repas et celui de certains passagers venait d’une enseigne du lounge de l’aeroport Exki: un but de baguette dur comme pas possible donc je l’ai touché avec de la confiture, du beurre et un muffin pas du tout frais..."

Nadelen: "I am used to traveling continents with other companies. There has always been 2 check in bags allowed with no extra charge as long as you are under 23kg on each. I get to the airport with my 2 bags ready, TAP tells me on large holidays, they only allow 1 bag to be checked to my specific African destination until January 11. And that one bag will cost me $120. They will not let me have the second one. Who does that? How much sense is this supposed to have. I checked with others and they do not do that. That rule rule is unfair and racist. Now that I am back, I have a bag missing. Wow!"

Mais impossible de retrouver la trace sur mon mail de confirmation. Pouvez-vous vérifier et a l avenir être plus clair sur nos droits ou non aux bagages en soute ainsi que le prix du bagage sur votre site si vous le proposer et le prix au guichet . Cela augmente significativement le prix du billet donc mérite de nous informer clairement et complètement. Merci de votre compréhension et de votre réponse."
Nadelen: "Les agents tap de l’aeroport de Dakar m’ont fait manquer mon vol par non assistance et désinformation totale. Ils n’ont aucun professionnalisme et limite ils t’insultent. Je suis sénégalaise mais je suis très déçue du comportement des agents à l’aéroport de Dakar. La plus grosse déception de ma vie"

Nadelen: "Impossible to use a laptop for a 1m80 big guyin the middle seat: seats are soooo narrow"
Nadelen: "I had to pay to check the first piece of luggage 85€ one way. I was not inform of that when I bough the ticket and I could have chosen a different airline If I had considered that expense. The first piece used to be free intercontinental flights but now it varies depending on the company. I find difficult to find this information when buying and it makes a great difference in the final price you pay. I found strange flight attendants having a very loud conversation in a very quiet flight where most of the people were sleeping."
Voordelen: "I loved how the entertainment was complimentary and there was a wide selection of movies, TV shows and music. I’m used to having one or maybe two movies to choose from but TAP has an entire movie library on the back of each seat. I watched 3 new releases on my 7.5 hour flight. The food was also tasty and I technically had two meals. Great job, TAP!"
Nadelen: "The only thing that could be improved is the boarding process in the Lisbon airport. The boarding time for the flight was one hour before takeoff and the gate area was too small to hold the total number of people taking the flight. We also didn’t board until 30 min before the flight so passengers were waiting in one big crowd because it was impossible to find a seat or to even form clear lines for boarding."

Nadelen: "Though the weather was fine - no excuse - the 7 hours delay! the fact that instead of landing in Newark (my original reservation), we landed in JFK! VERY INCONVENIENT AND AN EXTRA EXPENSE! The fact that in Lisbon airport I had to wait more than one hour to reach the help desk and then plead to receive a voucher for refreshment (left Madeira on an early flight, no breakfast on that flight, the flight to NY delayed till 5 PM!). I chose TAP because it was the most direct way to reach Madeira - but the delays on both flights were more than unfortunate - it was simply poor service."
