Nadelen: "Too much nonsense with carry on and check in language. I paid for my seat but they changed it for better balance of the plain. Really I weigh 165 lbs. Once the plane reaches altitude they let me take my seat. However the plane was barely occupied and somebody with closer and took my seat."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was very enjoyable. The only negative aspect was that the first leg of the flight was delayed long enough that I almost missed my connecting flight and my baggage was lost."
Nadelen: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

Voordelen: "Best food and attention that I've had on an airline in 20 years. Really. I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

Nadelen: "Seats were a little uncomfortable, not the leg room but they just felt a little worn down and tilting forward"

Voordelen: "The seats on Swiss' A330-300 are so comfortable in economy. Easy to find a good position to sleep in. Embrear from Zurich to Oslo is tighter, but food and service like in the old days! Bravo!"

Voordelen: "The flight attendant told me I had to keep my seat upright throughout dinner so the person behind me could eat. I wanted to sleep and couldn't do so without reclining. The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew."
Nadelen: "See above regarding the crew. It's not that big of a deal but I really thought the crew was poor. Flight was short and easy enough though."

Nadelen: "On my return journey I was told at check in that there were delays that would mean missing my onward journey from Zurich. I was then rerouted through Istanbul with the promise that I would be well compensated for my troubles. I was told that I would receive a certain amount for every hour I was delayed from my original arrival at end destination. Well I arrived 8 or more hours after I had originally expected (and the reason I booked with Swiss Air was because of the timing and the apparent luxury of the flight). Once I got back home and tried to pursue this amazing compensation I received some of the worst customer service ever and received 0 compensation for the experience. Very disappointed and will never fly swiss airlines again."

Nadelen: "For starters, they sat my 12 year old daughter 6 rows away and both of us in center seats so no one would switch with us. Mid flight, my daughter asked to switch with me since the guy next to her kept asking personal questions and was making her uncomfortable. Second, the in flight entertainment did not work. Third, I had pre-ordered a diabetic meal, they “think they may have given it to someone else.” Fourth, one hour delay making for a tight connection. And finally... they lost my suitcase. Should arrive in a few days."

Nadelen: "The crew was so bad. When asked for my special meal 2.5 hrs into the flight, they said you haven’t ordered any, which in fact I had a month before my flight. The crew member instead insisted that ”you should've brought your own food” not once but twice. No courtesy nothing. I was super disappointed. I fly a lot and this was hands down my worst flight. Also, the aircraft and seats were terribly uncomfortable (Boeing 747-8 Economy). Boarding took forever as well. Overall a very shocking experience from a very experienced airline otherwise."

Nadelen: "The birding officer didn't inform me about the visa requirements to cross from Dusslouf to Vinna airport. This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

Nadelen: "We arrived late in Copenhagen and I had 20 minutes to catch my connecting flight. Even though I was checked-in for the Copenhagen to Athens flight it left without me. I was then transferred through Prague to get to Athens and again missed my connecting flight through there. Now I am stuck in Prague looking for a flight to Athens and most likely will miss my next flight from Athens to Karpathos and will again be stuck in Athens because there are no flights out to Karpathos until 19 of May, 3days from now. I was physically in the Copenhagen airport and could have made that flight, I feel that since I was already checked in they should have waited for me and allowed me to board. Now I will Be missing work!"

Voordelen: "Boarding was quick and easy. Decent amount of overhead space. The pilot was friendly. USB ports for charging phones at the seat. Free bottle of water at your seat."
Nadelen: "No overhead fan. When flight got really hot, no way to moderate temperature. No choice of food at all, unless you are in economy plus. I don't remember the last time that a trans-Atlantic flight had at least a meant, or fish, or vegetarian dish. Usually, at least two or three dishes. On SAS, everything has to be ordered ahead of time. Some of the flight attendants were friendly, some not so friendly. No free alcoholic drinks even with dinner. Limited regular drinks - they are only served with food, aside from that you have to purchase even the non-alcoholic drinks. The food just wasn't very good, even compared to other airline food. Compared to other companies, relatively small selection of entertainment. I had considerably more choice on a domestic flight than on a 9 hr. international SAS flight. Storage pockets at the seat are pretty small."

Nadelen: "The flight from EWR to Oslo was delayed by over 2 hours which meant I would miss my next connection... and I understand that happens sometimes. But, it was after hours on the airline number phone number and the fly.com customer service could not help with finding an alternate connection from Oslo to FRA. It was frustrating to then have to wait at Oslo airport for another 4 hours before the new connecting flight."

Nadelen: "They did not enforce the boarding of the back of the plane after first and business class, as a person sitting in the back of the plane it was a horrible boarding experience. Should also board less rows at a time from back to front. Even though the lights were dimmed I couldn't actually sleep, since the lights were turned back on too often to try to pass out breakfast less than 4 hours after we just had dinner."

Voordelen: "I was running late for the flight due to bad traffic en route to the airport. Nonetheless, the staff was very understanding, and called me to the gate once I finally arrived to assign me a seat since I wasn't given one when I checked in online. They upgraded me without my asking... to an economy plus exit row, so I had lots of room during the 8 hour flight to Copenhagen. The plane was new - an Airbus A330 - and the flight crew was friendly and helpful."

Nadelen: "Somewhat unfriendly crew"

Voordelen: "After four hours waiting on the tarmac, at 3AM in the morning, the flying attendants gave us free peanuts. That was very thoughtful."
Nadelen: "Worst experience ever. We waited on the tarmac for almost 4 hours, due a technical problem. Finally, they gave up attempting to solve the problem (at 3.30AM), and we disembarked. No assistance at all. No hotel. No meals. Rescheduling was a lengthy process. Staff was rude. Really a nightmare of an experience. Note to self: never ever fly again with SAS."

Voordelen: "I felt valued. The plane was clean and in good condition. The flight crew and attendants were very professional and took good care of the passengers. It was a quiet and stress-free travel experience."
Nadelen: "Can't think of a single thing."

Nadelen: "1) on the plane, they announced a choice of two meals and I enquired why did I get one without choice and they told me the second choice was an option only for 'economy plus' !! That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."

Voordelen: "Even though I did not get the seat I paid extra for, it was a great flight."

Voordelen: "The flight from Newark to Stockholm was late, so I was late for the flight to Vilnius,had to recheck-in and wait for 6 hours."

Voordelen: "The cleanliness"
Nadelen: "I Had checked several times to make sure I had 2 bags included ( standard for US-EU flights) and every time. At the airport I had to pay an extra charge for my second bag which made the flight very expensive and just ruined the whole experience for me"

Voordelen: "We got to sit in the emergency aisle so I can't complain about comfort. The staff was really friendly (although they were really rude on the way over 10 days earlier, so I guess we just got lucky with a nice crew for this one)."
Nadelen: "You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."

Voordelen: "The food, the comfortable seats, boarding."
Nadelen: "The entertainment options, very few movies, limited kinds of music"

Voordelen: "Crew was very helpful and attentive. Seemed to care about the comfort of the passengers. Very inviting and gracious."
Nadelen: "Seats and pillows could be more comfortable. All airline food is not good so okay indicated above is above expectations."

Voordelen: "Food was good"

Voordelen: "It was great to have a bottle of water right at the beginning of the flight! Made it easier to settle down and relax."
Nadelen: "It would be great to have a greater offer of music. I really like to listen to some new music from good artists and to get inspired for new music on a long flight. It's too bad, SAS only offers playlists of 1 hour..."

Nadelen: "I wasn't able to take this flight due to my first leg being cancelled. However, I did end up being placed on the SAS flight to Stockholm from Chicago, which was an overall nice flight. The only thing I didn't like was the timing of the flight. Because my starting point was from somewhere other than Chicago, this made for a very long and tiring trip. I wouldn't recommend this flight for people flying from places other than Chicago."

Nadelen: "2.5 hours delayed flight without prompt notifications. Honest and prompt flight-delay alerts. Updates for delay came *every* half-hour. No opportunity to schedule ANYTHING based truthful delay estimations and the lack of timely communication."

Nadelen: "More clearly written policy about baggage allowance"

Nadelen: "Bags didn't get loaded, plane delayed. Poor customer service."

Voordelen: "The variety of food for purchase was nice!"
Nadelen: "THERE WAS NO WIFI ON A 6HR FLIGHT!!! omg its 2019. mind blown."

Voordelen: "Seats and plane condition"

Nadelen: "The flight was operated by Air Canada, who habitually assume either that the people in the final row have no hand luggage or simply suffer from a severe lack of operational storage capacity. Overhead bins full of spare plastic cups. As far as the crew are concerned, no problem, because you can just push your way three or four rows forward while everyone else is boarding and then take someone else's overhead space. When will Air Canada learn how to run an airline?"

Voordelen: "How I was treated How I felt was wonderful."
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "Flight went extremely smooth. No issues during the layover they even got us an earlier flight to our layover destination, giving us more time between flights."

Voordelen: "TV in seat, new plane. I liked nothing else about this crappy airline."
Nadelen: "Delayed because they couldn't fit the luggage on the plane, had to pay extra for my family to sit together, worst service ever on board, the slowest old ladies pushing the cart, 90 minutes late in perfect weather, took forever to get the baggage."

Voordelen: "Entertainment and crew helped make the situation better but a 3 hour delay made my experience unpleasant."

Nadelen: "Flight was cancelled 5 mins before I arrived at airport and never received any notification"

Voordelen: "Cleanliness and accessibility to my nearest airport at the time I need it."

Nadelen: "There were delayed at every stop. I had a 9 hour delay because the flight attendant had food poisoning. How was there not a replacement?"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed for more than hour."

Voordelen: "The flight was comfortable over all. It was on time. The staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "It was hard to connect our computer to the movies. It was rather confusing and eventually we came to the conclusion that there were only 2 films that were compatible with our laptops. They were the unrated films from film festivals."

Voordelen: "Crew on board as accommodating as they could be."
Nadelen: "Arrived at the airport to find hundreds of people on line trying to check in. No Air Canada employees were explaining anything to anyone, as we all stood in line for over a hour, nervous we'd miss our flights. Word was passed from the front of the line that the system was down. They held planes, so I guess everyone eventually made it to their flights--but not until everyone was stressed out to the limit. Lack of assistance from Air Canada personnel was glaring."

Voordelen: "Niets"

Nadelen: "Waited 50 mom for delay. Arrived and delayed on tarmac 1hr and long wait into duties."

Voordelen: "Other than the usher at the check-in desk, all other Air Canada staff were polite and helpful."
Nadelen: "Usher at check-in desk had terrible communication skills. He had an antagonist tone that set an aggressive tone for those just trying to comply to his directions."

Voordelen: "Overall a good experience. Had to pay for food but it was quite good so I didn't mind. Supposedly the crew were short staffed but I found them attentive and helpful and to be honest I believe the people who complained may have been a little precious."

Voordelen: "Everything was solid."
Nadelen: "There was no WI-FI which was inconvenient. The crew was good...could have been nicer on the way from Newark to Vancouver."

Voordelen: "I liked the newer plane as the head rests were more comfortable with the movable sides."

Voordelen: "One of the flight attendant saw I needed help holding my second big bag while I was putting my carry on in and she held it for me without me asking and helped me find my seat, it was very stress relieving for me, and I really appreciated that. She was also very nice to everybody."
Nadelen: "I had a sprite and the amount was very little, I feel like the cups have got smaller. But that's not a big deal"

Voordelen: "There was an excellent agent during boarding. I didn't catch his name but he was a tall dark skin gentlemen and he went over and beyond to assit me. His kindness left a lasting impression on me. I only wish I had his name, because he deserves to be noticed for his excellent service."

Voordelen: "Early and luggage delivered quickly"

Nadelen: "The flight was considerably delayed, so that we missed our connection, the airport personnel at Newark sent us all over the place attempting to pass off the problem onto somebody else- even encouraging passengers to go to Montreal and "figure it out from there." Bags were taken off the plane and then put back on...the subsequent flight (the next day) was also delayed, and required half he plane to sprint through Montreal to their connections. It was not worth it. Especially considering I tried to call Air Canada for some of my refund and the number they gave me was a fax line."

Nadelen: "Flight out of Newark delayed so we were going to miss the connection. We were rebooked to fly via London but we lost 6 hours in Rome. Air Canada attendant at Newark said the flight was always delayed and passengers regularly needed to be rebooked. You should recommend air Canada cancels selling this itinerary or bringing the Newark flight forward to de risk any delays"

Voordelen: "Entertainment system is good"
Nadelen: "Crew was an hour late arriving at airport so flight was delayed. No food, not even a snack, on a 5+ hour flight is not acceptable."

Voordelen: "Free movies."
Nadelen: "Delays at the gate going and coming back"

Voordelen: "Great crew. But aircraft had mechanical issues."
Nadelen: "Stuck on plane for 90 minutes before take off."

Voordelen: "Really took advantage by jacking the prices on return flight changes caused by their cancellation of outbound due to weather Because I had two one way flights, the changes required for the return flight were my problem"
Nadelen: "Ripoff 500 and two hours of hold time to get acrewed"

Nadelen: "the seats were very uncomfortable and didn't recline"

Voordelen: "Newer plane"
Nadelen: "Delayed for 4hrs and less than adequate meal voucher for $10 for dinner? Very disappointed and I'm a long time AC customer."

Voordelen: "Everyone was super polite"

Nadelen: "After waiting at the airport for hours with multiple delays the flight cancelled. I still haven't made it home. Today is my little girls 2nd birthday and I have been away from her for 12 days now. The earliest flight I could get is 10am. I won't get home till at least 12 noon."

Voordelen: "Everything went smoothly. We even landed a good 20 minutes before we were supposed to. Best flight I've been had"

Nadelen: "Everything. My booking confirmation was with United Airlines only to get to the airport to find that they had subcontracted the flight to a budget airline. Eurowings. The food very substandard. If you were on a basic ticket, you were only entitled to water and no food. So people are travelling on long haul flights without being offered anything as standard. Passengers on these tickets were not aware that they would not be served.any food which is probably unethical. They offer to sell you food if on a basic ticket"

Nadelen: "Short trip , WiFi was out but not an issue. Again I was so pleased not to have to climb narrow stairs to board. It was excellent and glad to be home. Maybe some peanuts."

Nadelen: "Again, left stranded in SC."

Voordelen: "We had a wheel chair person and they made it very easy to drop off at the gate and get it at the destination gate. Also they drove us over to the baggage area due to many elevation changes required to reach this area."
Nadelen: "The obtaining of the boarding pass in Newark needed more people to help get the boarding pass. I like the option to use a machine if I want to generate a boarding pass but there were issues with the machines and not enough people to help alleviate the backup of people having to wait."

Voordelen: "Legroom in the exit seat was sufficient"
Nadelen: "The plane was old and dirty and our power outlets did not work"

Voordelen: "Comfort seating in premium Plus"
Nadelen: "Crew in this section needs to be more customer centric"

Voordelen: "If the food is offered free as part of the fare. The food is roughly $12.00 or whatever price. That should have been added to the fare we are paying for the flught."

Nadelen: "too long time before I was transportet with a wheelchair out to the flight. no food even not a biscuit."

Voordelen: "The staff was great but we hade one hour delay bording went very slow"
Nadelen: "My seat could not move and the antertainment system dident work"

Nadelen: "Did not actually get a Polaris type cabin layout. The plane had not yet been converted."

But as I was waiting for luggage and they gave me a hotel room I hadn’t checked the screen. I was most concerned of the person travelling to pick me up in Bordeaux as it is a journey for them as well"

Voordelen: "Great crew and flight attendants, kept us informed of everything, very helpful and prompt on all questions and requests. Movie selection was impressive. Boarding was efficient and flight even left early. Surprisingly pleasant experience in economy for a long flight."

Voordelen: "1. We booked seats together then when I checked in they had moved my seat and we were no longer sitting together. And then I couldnt get the window seat I had paI'd for :( 2. No boarding announcement and the "gate" was under construction so was a madhouse to board. 3. The crew member put her sweater in my food and pushed the coffee so hard to the person next to me it spilled all over him. To be fair she did apologize for throwing coffee on him. 4. The TV screens were so old you had to push the "touch" screen so your headrest kept moving if the person behind you couldn't decided what to watch... and then hard to watch anything yourself. The food was nasty."
Nadelen: "See above. I didn't like anything, this might have been the worst flight I've ever had to Brussels. I thought I booked a European carrier, but ugh it was actually United. They only care about business class and first class."

Voordelen: "Nice food, good crew"

Voordelen: "Just about everything was perfect. lots of leg room in economy plus, seat next to me stayed empty, the meals were very taste. And the crew members were extremely professional. It was just a perfect experience."

Nadelen: "Most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in."

Nadelen: "Very stressful experience at counter check in. Airline representative didn't know the difference between the expiry date of a visa and that of my passport.. he just ran away with the passport to check and didn't get convinced and it took him long to return, with me just waiting and knowing nothing about where he went. Only the passport needs to be valid for three months after returning from the trip. Not the visa. He should know that. I got my boarding pass at the end, and he didn't apologize for the inconvenience or anything."
