And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again."

Understaffed and under equipped (staff was unable to get online to reschedule and re-issue new boarding passes) We are senior travelers (75 and 80 years old) and were forced to stand in lines for 3 hours We're headed to the airport now, the next day, and I am dreading the experience."

I spent hours on line getting a boarding pass in Munich, and then again another in Rome (in Munich no one was given boarding passes for connecting flights). I spend hours again in lines to get a boarding pass for a flight to Palermo, missing my connection and only getting a much later flight to Palermo. It was utter confusion. Shame on Al Italia."

So our 4day vacation is now down to 3 and of those 3days we spent one day waiting on partial delivery of our luggage!"

Nadelen: "They overbooked the flight and would not let us on even though we had tickets because we did not check-in that morning online before our arrival to the airport. They re-booked us for another flight that had a connection but it kept getting delayed so they made us re-check our luggage 3 separate times. When we finally made it to the connecting city (Barcelona) that next flight was delayed from 9 pm departure to 11 pm to midnight and then to 2:30 AM with no confirmation that the flight would actually take-off. There was no one that could offer us help or give us answers as to what was going on, all employees were very vague and kept telling us they couldn't tell us anything. We spent 14 hours that day in the airport for a flight that should have taken 1.5 hours. They gave us 6 euros each as compensation and that was it. To put in a complaint to get your money back is very difficult. Their website is often down and they make the form very specific online so that if you type something in lowercase letters it won't go through. I will never fly them again and strongly suggest you don't either."

Nadelen: "No entertainment or free snacks/water. Flights were cheap but you can't cancel them, just modify the reservation. I bought the return flight to a different airport by mistake but i was not able to cancel"

Nadelen: "I realized I made a mistake it’s my date five minutes after my booking . There was no options all to do any changes"
Voordelen: "I like a quick and efficient boarding process."

Nadelen: "I didn't like boarding without zones, you have to stand for so long waiting because every gets in line at the same time."
Nadelen: "All along the way Ryan air was a disaster. The only thing positive to say is that we arrived at our destination alive and reasonably on time.the lead up with the computer games they played with me and my money put them right down at the bottom regarding service and expectations ."
Voordelen: "Personeel vriendelijk, over het eten kan ik geen oordeel geven omdat ik niets gekocht heb. Vandaar de lage beoordeling"
Nadelen: "Er was niets wat ik niet leuk vond"

Nadelen: "Het feit dat ik handbagage heb en dat dat perse in het luchtruim moet omdat Ryanair structureel te weinig ruimte heeft in het vliegtuig. Maar als ik 1kilo teveel inpak moet ik extra betalen. Maar als ze zelf iets verkeerd doen geen vergoeding of wat dan ook. Zelfs geen excuus. Schandalige manier van zaken doen, niks klant is koning..Ryan air is koning van het uitknijpen van passagiers"
Voordelen: "I think the crew were ok. But I didn't need them for anything. I guess I'm happy they were not rude or miserable themselves. They seemed upbeat which was the only positive thing about this whole trip. Plus I think the pilot stepped on it, cause I think travel time was less than what was planned (I might be missing taxiing time though, so not sure)."
Nadelen: "Well, I can't say I wasn't entirely expecting this. There was over an hour and half delay. Nothing announced. We were in the dark. The plane didn't arrive on time, nothing announced. Boarding was delayed, nothing announced. When boarding was complete, there was an indefinite delay that was only announced quite a bit later. Anyway, the whole experience, including naming Charleroi airport as "South Brussels" is not something I intend to repeat."
Nadelen: "The flight did not fly out of the airport I selected thru kayak. I missed my flight because I was unable to make it to the correct airport in time. I will NEVER use Kayak again."
Nadelen: "Te weinig plaats voor handbagage in de cabine"
Nadelen: "Flight was late. Made me check in my carry on while there was load of space in the plane Ryansir boarding staff were their usual horrendous self. Obnoxious and seemingly happy to harass travellers for few cms of lugage"

Nadelen: "Uncomfortable seat. We paid to check our bags as they were oversized according to Ryan's website however we saw many people stowing bags much larger than ours in the overhead bins."

Nadelen: "Unexpected, late, and lack of communication of long delay. The gate numbers change at almost the last minute to boarding, meaning you may need to run to the right gate and be last in line."
Voordelen: "I liked the staff, the plane..."
Nadelen: "It would be nice to know in advance if the airport accepts mobile boarding ticket."
Voordelen: "The staff was super friendly, this includes the pilots. You could see that they worked as a team! The seats were crammed just like every other airline company so i can't complain about that.. the boarding was super efficient and we departed on time, (we had priority boarding)."
Voordelen: "I liked the new interior of the plane - lot more room, easier to move between seats, easier to place luggage"
Nadelen: "The crew did everything necessary, but they did not smile, their communication was not spontaneous and a bit "robot" like. This was in in contrast to the crew on our first flight to Brussels - the crew there was cheerful and fun to travel with."
Nadelen: "De snacks die in de folder stonden waren bijna allemaal niet voorradig. Uiteindelijk niets genomen."
Nadelen: "The crew is not welcoming, cramped seat, long line and force to check in my bag and paid 50euros."

Nadelen: "We purchased our tickets through Kayak. Ryanair website was not accessible to add luggage and check in. On the check in counter, we were not allowed to check in because they claimed that we had to check in online. We contacted the Ryanair desk to solve the problem, and we showed them that we are not able to access the website to check in. Eventually, they forced us to buy brand new tickets or we would have missed our flight."

Nadelen: "Priority is pointless. Every body gets in at the same time"
Voordelen: "Vriendelijk personeel; ze doen hun best onder de moeilijke omstandigheden."
Nadelen: "Slecht georganiseerde boarding; bussen te laat; géén plek voor handbagage. Echt héél weinig beenruimte!"
Voordelen: "Uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding,goede koffie (dus dan is betalen geen probleem..) Eindhoven is zoveel handiger dan Schiphol. Parkeren is ook ideaal geregeld."
Nadelen: "Op het laatste moment terminal aangeven. Gedring van mensen om aan boord te komen, snap dat het snel moet maar zou toch meer orde moeten zijn."
Voordelen: "Goede prijs / kwaliteit verhouding."

Nadelen: "Impossible to get a hold of I tried email Webb and telephone in each case I had to wait long time and most the time it would disconnect I was never able to talk to a human being I had other business that I had to attend to where I am and had to cancel my trip to Brussels I will try never to fly Ryanair again there reputation precedes them. Every other airline allows you to change within 24 hours, In the over Million miles I've travel. Please help!! Thank You, Robert"

I chose Ryanair because they had the cheapest flight from Milan to Brussels but I will never fly Ryanair again because in fact their ticket prices after all the fees, were over 100 euro more than other companies and the process of checking in I did not like."
Nadelen: "Ik was alleen met 2 kinderen van 3j en 7 maanden. Niemand van personeel heeft mij gevraagd of ze met ergens mee konden helpen. Ik moest alles zelf doen buggy plat plooien,zelf mijn dochter op de trap helpen. Zelf bij uit uitstappen heb al met andere maatschappijen gevlogen en daar was het wel te merk dat ze kindvriendelijk zijn. zelf bij het inchecken moest ik mee aanschuiven terwijl bij andere maatschappijen je voor mag gaan met kinderen.
