Apparently one of the computer racks wouldn't switch on, so they changed some other computer racks, and then the delay was two hours so he decided we could go flying without the broken bit. No doubt they'll be having another attempt to fix it during the next delayed turn around, or he'll phone up tech support and do a factory reset."
Nadelen: "The crew called the gate, allowed the entire flight to pass through the gate and then as we stood in the boarding gang way told us the flight had been delayed by the captain but they did not have any more information. We were then held for 2 hours sitting on the floor because the crew had taken our boarding cards and didn't want us to return to the terminal. At least I didn't pay for any upgrades as that was a just sitting on the floor closer to the plane. Funny how the plane miraculously got better when people started to talk about compensation!"

Nadelen: "Horrible experience with Alitalia. They boarded us on a plane that had a wheel issue, and kept us on the ground for 2 hours before they decided to de-plane us. We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again."

The management at the Alitalia desk at the airport was not up to the task of reassigning everyone. Understaffed and under equipped (staff was unable to get online to reschedule and re-issue new boarding passes) We are senior travelers (75 and 80 years old) and were forced to stand in lines for 3 hours We're headed to the airport now, the next day, and I am dreading the experience."

Nadelen: "Everything went wrong. The flight arrived 40 minutes late and I missed my connecting flight because they closed the gate before I could get there. As a result, when I asked both airlines involved (Brussels Air and Portugal Air (TAP) what to do, each airline blamed the other airline for the problem and each said it was my problem to fix. After speaking with ten people and begging them to make the problem right for a problem I did not create, they finally issued me a new ticket but I had to wait 24 hours for the new flight to leave. It was a total breakdown in communication and organization and customer support and problem resolution on the part of the airlines and the airport. I never want to fly these airlines again and never want to take a flight with connections."

Nadelen: "Je n'ai jamais reçu un service de ce genre avec aucune compagnie dans le passé. Avec plus de 50 vols à mon actif dans les 5 dernières année, jamais je n'ai vécu cela. Je travaille dans le tourisme et vous pouvez être certain que je déconseillerai votre compagnie dans le futur à tous mes clients et clientes. Le personnel à bord n'étais pas courtois du tout, aux portes d'embarquement et ainsi qu'au service à la clientèle de votre compagnie. Je n'arrive pas à comprendre d'où vient votre réputation exemplaire après avoir vécu cette expérience. Votre responsable de l'aéroport Pearson International de Toronto a été audieuse et n'a pas été à l'écoute du tout lors de notre rencontre. Avec plus de 2500$ dépensé pour un aller-retour Paris/Montréal et ce genre de service en retour j'attendais un minimum de considération venant d'une compagnie digne de votre renommée. Mon conjoint est médecin et vous n'avez pas l'air de réaliser ce que réalise ce genre de situation. Nous étions à temps à la porte et on nous a tout simplement refusé l'accès. Aucune solution possible peu importe ce que nous demandions. Aucune possibilitée d'avoir un vol plus tôt ou simplement de faire livrer bagages à notre domicile. Seulement l'interdiction d'entrer dans l'avion que nous avions choisi et ce avec des raisons valables vue le métier de mon conjoint. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cela nous retombe sur nous, nous devons payer des dépenses supplémentaires afin de rentrer à temps, alors que sur internet lors de la réservation la correspondance était prévue, et qu'on nous a assuré que les bagages auraient le temps de suivre à Paris. J'espère grandement que vous allez considérer ce message et que vous allez faire quelque chose autre qu'un courriel d'excuse."

Cela m'a valu presque 2 heures de téléphone avec Air Canada (0.15 euro la minute). Et puis au comptoir d'enregistrement, nouveau gros problème, celui-là très grave à mon sens. L'agent de comptoir m'a dit que je n'avais pas d'ESTA, donc que je ne pouvais pas partir, alors que j'en avais un. En pleine panique, j'ai appelé ma mère qui heureusement a retrouvé en 5 minutes dans son ordinateur mon numéro d'ESTA. Cela m'a causé une très grosse frayeur, car c'était presque le moment de la fermeture de l'enregistrement, et m'a vraiment gâché le voyage. Je me plains donc franchement du manque de gentillesse et de la qualité du service de l'agent de comptoir. Je précise que j'étais en billet retour, donc il aurait été facile à l'egent de penser que j'avais un ESTA puisque j'avais fait escale à Chicago aussi à l'aller."

What was upsetting was the attitude of one of the attendants of the counter. She was a spaniard lady lacking all customer service skills. I will never use this airline again"

Voordelen: "Nothing on the ground. Prior to boarding there was chaos among the crew members and the public. The flight was as usual with Vueling delayed; for technical reasons. However no one knew what was happening. No crew member gave a simple explanation of what was happening. Order was not maintsined"

They treat passengers as if they could not care less because they are working unhappily We can simply compare with other airlines. Vueling gets first price as worse airline I know."

Nadelen: "This is a budget airline. It was a decent plane, the crew was very friendly. Being a budget airline, food on board has to be purchased separately. There is no entertainment on board. The seats didn’t recline. Overall it was good value for your money."

A meager €8 voucher that didn't even cover a meal and a poorly informed gate agent that couldn't provide any information because the head office wouldn't provide any information. To top it all off, the lie as to why the flight was delayed was not maintained by either ground staff nor the crew. Unbelievable"

Nadelen: "It said British airlines and was a vueling airlines flight. I would equivalent this to booking a flight through Kayak on Delta showing up to Delta to check in and being redirected to Spirit airlines!! Completely misleading, just glad I didn’t have to pay for a vag as I would on Spirit. No water, snacks offered pretty bare bone airline!!"

Nadelen: "I was told that my carry on luggage was too big for the overhead bin and had to pay 35 euro. The flight attendant attempted to fit it in the bin and it fit just fine. So thanks...I paid for something I didn’t have to."

Nadelen: "wife is disabled,told she had aisle seat,staff on board had to shift her 3 times,we were booked in together but sat apart on both trips,full marks to the cabin crew who really did a great job of moving people around but we had no help from last minute.com and less from the airline when we phoned in regard to my wifes mobility scooter.sorry its back to Easy jet."

Nadelen: "Was made to put case into the hold at the gate, they said there wasn't enough room on the plane, got on, there was loads of space and loads of cases. Got to Barcelona and my Kipling monkey had been removed from case, either in Birmingham or Barcelona."

Voordelen: "I paid extra for the extra-legroom seats, and that was good. Though they charge for snacks/food/drinks, I was fine with a free cup of water."
Nadelen: "Our seats up front (2nd row) didn't recline, and it wasn't because of bulkheads or exit rows. It was a short flight, so it wasn't too bad."

Nadelen: "They overbooked the flight. We were a party of eight and half of us got to go on the 12pm flight and myself my husband and 2 children had to wait! We were told we could get on a 4pm flight and were rebooked for a 9pm flight!! Then they lost all my luggage and when I did get it we only got 2bags! My kids while suitcase went missing for two days! Totally unacceptable! Worse thing is the lack of direction to handle the situation. Their answer was by law were allowed to overbook! Seriously! I know this is true but these airlines should. It be allowed to do that it’s disruptive to people’s lives that have paid money to be on these flights. So our 4day vacation is now down to 3 and of those 3days we spent one day waiting on partial delivery of our luggage!"

Voordelen: "Quick and easy, no frills, cheap flights, on time, great between Euro countries but not beyond. Newer airbusses with comfortable seats for short flights not long flights. just make sure you don't check bags, just carry on size. clean and cheap and easy, but don't expect more."

Nadelen: "It was late and no one told us anything... until we were close to landing that's when the pilot told us why they were late one hour at the gate! unacceptable!"

Nadelen: "No entertainment, seats did not recline, minimal leg room"

Voordelen: "Geweldig! Het was een rustige vlucht. Zowiezo heel krap. Maar het was rustig"

Nadelen: "Het is heel krap om te zitten. Maar de prijs was goed. I guess you get for what you paid. Het was niet slecht."

Voordelen: "Absolutely nothing"
Nadelen: "They overbooked the flight and would not let us on even though we had tickets because we did not check-in that morning online before our arrival to the airport. They re-booked us for another flight that had a connection but it kept getting delayed so they made us re-check our luggage 3 separate times. When we finally made it to the connecting city (Barcelona) that next flight was delayed from 9 pm departure to 11 pm to midnight and then to 2:30 AM with no confirmation that the flight would actually take-off. There was no one that could offer us help or give us answers as to what was going on, all employees were very vague and kept telling us they couldn't tell us anything. We spent 14 hours that day in the airport for a flight that should have taken 1.5 hours. They gave us 6 euros each as compensation and that was it. To put in a complaint to get your money back is very difficult. Their website is often down and they make the form very specific online so that if you type something in lowercase letters it won't go through. I will never fly them again and strongly suggest you don't either."

Voordelen: "Easy enough boarding... our flight coming into BCN was delayed due to weather, so we were cutting it very close for the connection. Vueling crew took care of our late check in etc."
Nadelen: "DId not have the food. No wifi or entertainment"

Nadelen: "The airline staff from check-in to dismissal were a big mess. No info, no help upon cancellation....Nothing."

Nadelen: "Very narrow seats, in fact the most narrow I've ever been on. Plane was delayed both ways. No real explanation as to why."

Nadelen: "First of all we were delayed an hour with no explanation or apology, the service was poor at best, and after all the trouble they managed to lose my bag as well . Two thumbs DOWN"

Voordelen: "Professional crew. Good airplane. 1stars for food/entertainment since not applicable an option (I had neither) Good image-good feeling"

Nadelen: "I called Vueling to see if I needed to pay for my stroller and he said yes. When I got to the counter I was told that I didn't have to pay for the stroller. So I asked for my money back and they said no. That was B.S."

Voordelen: "Crew and personnel were very friendly. On time and bags arrived as promised."
Nadelen: "Nothing is on the house - even coffee on the flight is 3 euros. Seats are very very close together - virtually no leg room"

Voordelen: "Franchement avec tout le retard accumulé c’est juste complique ´s’ apprécier le professionnalisme de l’ équipage..."
Nadelen: "Notre vol Rome Nice a était décalé par 3 fois... au final nous sommes partis avec un retard de 3h30, de ce fait nous avons atterri à Nice à 1h30 du matin!!! Il a fallu prendre un taxi tant il était impossible de faire attendre un membre de notre famille au beau milieu de la nuit. Et comme dédommagement sur place on nous a donné une carte pour ce restaurer qui elle était créditée de 4,50€, une mascarade vraiment...: Très mauvais service en Résumé!!!"

Voordelen: "Next just to check if a person say that they have paid luggage . Just to have a look. Not just jump to you have to paid. I would have paid for something I had already paid for. That’s all. Not only was it a waste of time for me and for them as well. As the air hostesses had such attitude."
Nadelen: "I know the customer is not always right but it would not kill them to check if someone say something."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Ryanair’s app was down preventing me from check-in for my flight. When I went to the counter to get my boarding passes printed, the agent informed me that they where going to charge me 55€ per ticket. I think this is unfair! Never flying again with this airline!"

Voordelen: "Ryanair are thieves and they denied to board me because they said they do not accept my residence card (with which I travelled to Schengen countries before with other airlines) and their website do not mention that I cannot travel with this kind of residence card."
Nadelen: "If they conform European laws and treat their own employees better and stop making their own rules by distancing themselves from other airlines."

Voordelen: "Rapidité d'embarquement et débarquement"
Nadelen: "Pas de boissons offertes ."

Voordelen: "Rien"
Nadelen: "Stop à la pub pendant le vol. 1h de vol= 1 h de dérangement à essayer de nous fourguer les produits vendus à Bord. Et comme toujours avec RyanAir retard du vol."

Voordelen: "Personnel d’embarquement nous parle comme des moins que rien !! Inacceptable"

Nadelen: "Conditions d'embarquement désastreuses à Bordeaux. Aucune organisation cohérente. Information et contre information se succédant semant un désordre total parmi les passagers Retard sur vol 2h Chaleur suffocante dans la cabine de l'avion"

Nadelen: "Hélas pour ce type de vol on ne peut espérer mieux. Avion petit et plein à capacité."

Nadelen: "Serait vraiment pas mal si RyanAir diminuait la fréquence de ses retards. Je ne me souviens plus quand c'était la dernière fois que j'ai pris un vol chez eux et qu'il est parti à l'heure."

Voordelen: "Personnel très pro et serviable. Avion et vol impeccable. Retard de 4h pour raisons météo, collation offerte par Ryanair"
Nadelen: "Sièges plus confortables."

Voordelen: "Prix très abordable. Efficace"
Nadelen: "Pas de fioriture. Normal vu le prix"

Voordelen: "Le sourire du personnel"

Nadelen: "We missed our flight because ryanair had originally put gate A7 when we got there (we arrived about an hour and a half early). And then later, they changed the gate to A9. When we realized what had happened the plane had already boarded (although not yet taxied) and they would not allow us to board. We had to buy another immediate flight and spend 100 euros each unexpectedly. Terrible experience."

Voordelen: "I screwed up i booked the one-way tickets in reverse. Used my phone while on the Camino and did not see the mistake until after the 24 hour period. There were still seats available and they could have switched but no- they kept the fare, of course and said for and addl 500€ each we could correct our flight. Good Lord!"
Nadelen: "Their total inability to help and that they took our money for nothing in return. Customer service was basically that’s the rules, can’t help you out. We took Renfe train instead for a fraction of what they wanted and had a great trip."

Voordelen: "Timeliness. Small airport."
Nadelen: "Limited seating space."

Nadelen: "D’abord aucun service. Les agents à l’aéroport étaient en grande discussion et riaient ensemble pendant que des dizaines de clients attendaient d’avoir leur aide. Ensuite, des frais d’enregistrement. J’ai voulu m’enregistrer d’avance avec l’application (comme la charmante agente de Ryanair m’a dit de faire), mais l’application ne fonctionnait pas, et le site web mobile m’informait que je devais m’inscrire sur l’application. L’agente a dû se rendre à l’évidence qu’elle devrait m’imprimer mes billets. (Comme n’importe quelle compagnie aérienne autre que Ryanair) Ensuite je lui ai demandé où je pouvais enregistrer mes bagages, et elle m’a dit que je n’avais pas à le faire, que je pouvais me rendre directement à la « gate », comme elle m’a dit. Je lui ai répété à plusieurs reprises que je devais mettre mon bagage en soute, que je ne l’apportait pas avec moi, mais elle me disait que tout était okay. J’ai fait la file durant 45 minutes pour me faire dire que je devais aller enregistrer mon bagage. Quand j’ai expliqué la situation au gardien de sécurité, il m’a simplement dit: « Ah. Vous voyagez avec Ryanair? » Je suis retourné au comptoir de Ryanair, pour faire moi-même le check-in de mon bagage, où j’ai eu la surprise de devoir payer 80 euros supplémentaires pour mon bagage et celui de mon conjoint, soit plus que le prix de nos 2 billets d’avion. Une fois ce montant payé, une agente m’a dit d’aller porter mon bagage ailleurs dans l’aéroport, puisqu’apparemment, nos sacs étaient devenus « over-sized ». En chemin, je demande à une autre agente Ryanair qui me dit que mon bagage doit aller exactement où j’étais. Bref, personnel non professionnel, qualité du service zéro, prix médiocre, confort de l’avion moins mille. Pas d’itinéraire, on ne comprenait rien de ce que les agents de bord disaient, ni les pilotes, pas de goûté. Et dieu sait que je n’ai pas eu le temps de manger avant de prendre ce vol. Qu’on ferme boutique. J’espère que cet avis sera lu et prise au sérieux. Considérez la présente comme la première étape de ma plainte auprès de Ryanair, et de KAYAK. -Catherine Desjardins"

Nadelen: "We were traveling across Europe with no access to internet. We trued to check in night before from hotel, we had a week connection. Thought we will do it from airport just like the United States. However, due to long line, wemissed tbe two hour window and were charged 55 euro per person. There was 5 of us. Therewere 5 of us. We felt cheTed and scorged."

Nadelen: "Huge delay as usual"

Nadelen: "Delyed flight for 1h30min"

Nadelen: "It was delayed"

Nadelen: "The check in process was extremely slow and the line up was very long with only 2 crew members checking people in"

Voordelen: "Nothing !!"
Nadelen: "Had to pay for not checking in 2hrs before 55 euros per person, After booking information there isnt clear enough notification asking for prior check-in. Flight attendants allowed anyone and everyone change seats before takeoff .. simply seems like Ryanair has no procedures and rules to follow... flight attendants look like they are on life support.. no smiling or kindness whatsoever... Seats were really uncomfortable, cant even recline the seats. Landing was scary. Budget of all budget airlines.. simply a joke and a waste of money ... vueling or easyjet is a 100 times better"

Voordelen: "The flight was fine"
Nadelen: "Check-in on Stansted airport was completely messed up. Nothing was convenient. We almost missed the plane. They charge for everything. No good procedure in place"

Voordelen: "Flight on-time, friendly to baby. Did not have food and no entertainment."
Nadelen: "Took long time to pick up baggage (could be an issue at BCN airport). Would be great to arrange seating (sit next to my wife) when seats are randomly picked up"

Nadelen: "Received emails about baggage, the policy stated that any cabin baggage beyond 1 would be checked for FREE in the hold. My wife and I both arrived with a small carry-on bag and a backpack. Upon arrival to Lisbon the attendant told us we needed to pay40euro each for the extra bag because it was slightly bigger than the bag “tester” box. (It fit sideways but not long ways). We showed the email about the free checked bag and she said because it was too big we had to pay 40 euro each. After a while we agreed. She then told us just to go to the gate, it would be ok. At the gate we had the same conversation with a different attendendent, this time it was 50 euro a piece! She said there was nothing she could do and just like that we are out 100 Euro. Do not fly with these Crooks!"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "The agent. They charged me extra for not check-in online. Very bad company"

Voordelen: "Ponctualité"
Nadelen: "Le fait que les bagages à main voyagent maintenant systématiquement en soute ... les coffres en cabine sont vides et on doit attendre son petit sac à l´arrivée, après les bagages enregistrés ... Cela me parait être un non sens complet et je ne vois même pas où serait leur intérêt financier !"

Nadelen: "Encore en retard"

Nadelen: "Le retard d une heure pour embarquer ainsi que les nombreuses personnes avec des bagages cabine hors norme alors que moi j'ai payé un supplément à la réservation pour un bagage plus de 20kils! !!"

Nadelen: "Harcellement des commerciaux censés êtres des equipages navigant. Quand ce n'est pas les repas avec 5 min de lecture lourde avec son fort dont on se moque, puis la vente de parfums et autres avec liste lourde...vient le tour de cartes à gratter... insuportable , de surcroît si on veut se reposer"

Nadelen: "Attente retard au décollage mais rattrapé en vol Confort spartiate"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "As usual with ryan air it's all about the cash. Missed my flight because of lip balm and a baggage check and then when I asked for help. They basically did nothing. I will never fly with you again. Luckily managed to get a B.A flight for £95.00 the same day and Ryan air wanted £413.00"

Voordelen: "L’équipage était agréable, possibilité de changer de siège, arrivée rapide à Madrid."
Nadelen: "Embarquement « prioritaire » catastrophique dans un aéroport qui frise le hangar de bétail ! Dernier vol du soir = vol retardé. Les nouveaux sièges sont bien moins confortables que les précédents, totalement pensé pour être extrement fins et légers afin de dépenser le moins de kérosène possible"

Voordelen: "The price of the ticket is really cheap and I keep that in mind when I review the flight"

Nadelen: "My biggest complaint was the way they handle random seating. My husband and I were on the same record locator and had the same last name, yet he was in the middle seat in the front of the plane and I was in a middle seat in the back of the plane. What gives?"

Nadelen: "3hr delay, zero staff to provide information, no apologies, utterly terrible organization."
