Voordelen: "I took two connecting flights on American Airlines between Los Angeles and Lisbon period on the website American claims to have charging and or electrical ports in every row. There were none on either flight. To make matters worse, when my tablet and phone batteries both died before the end of the first flight, there was no inflight entertainment, other than 1 ridiculous thing available, on either flight. American has switched to BYOD for entertainment, but forgot to provide a way to charge our own devices. Incredibly stupid."
Nadelen: "On top of that, one of the flight attendants on the Philadelphia to Lisbon run was a hella snarky guy with a bad attitude all the way through. I would be surprised if I am the first person to complain about him."

Voordelen: "The people I spoke to on the customer service line and then especially at the service desk in Miami were able to help me get a sooner flight so I didn’t have to be driving home until the wee morning. I am VERY grateful to them and American Airlines policies which empower its employees to assist its customers."
Nadelen: "There seemed to be some passive aggressiveness present on the flight to Houston. Passengers seemed to be defying in small ways orders from the staff, standing etc. The staff responded quite severely in my opinion, repeating the safety video to everyone’s annoyance because some passengers were talking out loud."

Nadelen: "My family and I make I JFK -LAX reservation 4 months ago. We came to LAX three hours before our flight to make sure we get good seats. At the checking kiosk we did not have the option to pick seats , there was a message on the boarding pass that said to go see boarding agent. So we did, appreantly they over booked the trip and they were looking for volunteers to give up their seats!! Why did we have to be on stand by if our booking was confirmed 4 months ago!! They made us wait until the gate was closed and then they found us seats . This trip caused us mental anguish I will never fly American Airlines again"

Nadelen: "there was no entertainment for a very long flight. also, it was night time, and the fasten seatbelt signs are so big and bright that it is impossible to go to sleep! Our plan was delayed for 2 hours, meaning we did not get in until 230am. it was exhausting!"

Nadelen: "The ticket was printed as Avianca trans to American Airlines. That was wrong. The ticket was for Avianca and I went to American and I lost a lot of time. Then the line was long and took me for ever to check in"

Le personnel contractuel n’apporte rien à la situation. Départ pour Montréal/Ottawa en retard. On m’avise que je manque ma correspondance et on me donne des vouchers lorsque je passe le kiosque AC aux correspondances. On dit me changer pour le prochain vol. Je me rends à la porte 25 et on appelle mon nom. On me dit que je suis toujours sur ce vol. Aucun sens. Donc Venise/Ottawaplus de 33 heures. J’y repenserai"
Nadelen: "Voir mon commentaire. personnel nayant aucune empathie. Des indications fausses. Au comptoir des correspondances une employée AC avec pancarte Venise me demande pour quel vol. M’indique de passer au comptoir pour changement car raté. Au comptoir l’employée sans lever les yeux me dit sèchement d’aller ailleurs. Je désire son nom pour me plaindre de la façon dont on s’adresse. La dame à la pancarte me dit je suis là superviseuse c’est mon employée. Rien de plus. Ce n’est certainement pas de ma faute si AC connaît une mauvaise journée"

Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "Bel avion, beau service, aucun repas ni de collation à bord a moins de payer les frais"

Voordelen: "Flight attendant was helpful when I had a personal health issue."
Nadelen: "Pay for snacks on a 5 hour flight? What do you really get for a ticket that cost over $500. US? I paid for noodle soup. They gave me a fork to eat it after they bumped into me and spilled the hot liquid on my sleeve and slacks. Then when I went to eat it I realized that the noodles were not cooked through. they were rubbery. the liquid was tasty, but with a fork how much can you taste. Ended up giving it back after eating about 1/4 of it. Seats had no leg room even though was a larger plane. Had restless leg from the very beginning. Legs were in pain the whole time."

Nadelen: "First meal was frozen. Bread, veggies and brownie cake were frozen while the chicken and rice wasn't appetizing. Flight crew should be more aware of the first row seats when pushing their food carts down and now bumping into passengers tvset."

Nadelen: "C'était notre première fois avec Air Canada et nous avons été très déçus : tout est payant ! Bagage en soute et snack dans l'avion."

Voordelen: "Difficult to find employees in the Toronto airport. Security needed to help me locate someone after my plane was delayed causing me to miss my connection. On the way back had a delay again lucky if was my final leg."

Voordelen: "The ciabatta buns served with the regular meals, looked lovely, as did the regular meat meals. Unfortunately, I ordered the Hindu Vegetarian meal."
Nadelen: "Usually the Hindu Vegetarian meals are quite nice, but these ones were not. I have eaten a lot of Indian and Middle Eastern food, and I could not identify what this was supposed to be. The basmati rice had the consistency of oatmeal. The first meal was tasteless and the second meal had too much hot spice, but still no flavour. The bread they gave with the meal was tiny and tasteless compared to the lovely ciabatta rolls served with the regular meals."

Nadelen: "Les agents de bord sur le vol d'allé n'étaient pas très sympathique, peu de sourire et air bête lorsque je posais une question . De plus, 50$ pour avoir une valise s'est trop !!"

Nadelen: "I would like to see planes getting boarded from the back to the front. That way there are less people holding up traffic and you are not bumping someone who is already seated as you are going by."

Nadelen: "There was a major winter storm on the way, and the flight should have been canceled like every other flight to Boston was. Long story short, we couldn't land in Boston due to the storm. So we flew not to Boston, but to Quebec City. They would not let us off the airplane. Eventually we flew back to Montreal where we started. More than 7 hours on a plane with no food, and they only offered us water. The flight should have been cancelled in the first place. That would have been a lot less stressful to deal with."

Nadelen: "Our two-hour layover in Vancouver turned into five and a half hours. No explanation, no compensation, no consideration. This is the third time in a row Air Canada has done this to us - we're taking WestJet from now on."

Voordelen: "Le personnel de bord, aimable et bilingue. Le prix du billet très bas ce qui me fait accepter le manque au niveau des services comme les repas et les divertissements à bord. Le commandant a donné des informations tout au long du trajet."
Nadelen: "Le vol Fort Lauderdale-Montréal a été retardé de 1:30h pour un entretien. Sur le vol de départ, le service de divertissement n'a pas fonctionné pendant une longue période. Il faut payer pour manger mais nous avions été avisés par la compagnie."

Nadelen: "The flight was not with Lufthansa, that was deception. UA the worst airline as far as I experienced it, delays, poor customer relationships and so on. I have to pay for luggage."

Nadelen: "Es united, no se puede esperar mucho de ellos. El snack para 5 horas son unos pretzels y el entretenimiento lo cobran. Lo único bueno es que aun con un aviso en la pantalla pude ver el final del partido de Champions, por el resto,.... compañía a evitar."

Nadelen: "Tea - disgusting brown liquid! What about a tea bag, or I gladly would take just a cup of hot water to brew my own. Sandwiches: turkey with cheese or cheese. I am allergic to milk (common allergy), you put milk products everywhere. Vegan is the only option, sadly it is usually some sort of Asian food and I am not Asian, have a gag reflex when I smell Indian food. This was not Air India flight, but smelled like one!!! Will avoid flying with United. Somehow, although I booked on purpose with Brussels Air, without my consent (!!!) I was sold tickets for United operated flight. Please, don't tell me that customers are your #1 priority, because they are NOT!"

Nadelen: "The plane was very old. No outlet to plug electronics. Small screens for video"

Nadelen: "none of the flight attendants seemed to be friendly- literally all of them were neutral or slightly rude at best. Not impressed."

Voordelen: "The crew was very friendly on board. The gate crew were a little curt, but it was a full flight and they were really trying to get everyone on board quickly so I can't be too upset about that."
Nadelen: "Few entertainment options - direct TV unavailable for about half the flight, WiFi also unavailable for the same."

Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Beyond one or two friendly crew members, not much."
Nadelen: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."

Voordelen: "Crew. Entertainment. Food. Leg room was a bit longer than usual."
Nadelen: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, decent food, good entertainment options to make the flight feel shorter."

Nadelen: "United Airlines portion of the flight from Brussels to IAD. My wife and I were seated in separate parts of the plane each in middle seats at the end of the boarding process when there was no longer any overhead room to store our belongings. Uncaring, unaccommodating crew, waiting area with not enough seats, and cramped seating on the plane with no possibility of sleep during an arduous seven hour flight."

Nadelen: "There's absolutely no leg room it's the smallest amount of room I have ever experienced on a plane - even the first class is eh - mediocre at best. I am slim and fit and I had very little to no room. Consider someone overweight and they would have to buy 2 seats... united is definitely not my favorite airline..."

Voordelen: "We were upgraded to business class. Everything was excellent! Seats were extremely comfortable. Flight attendants took great care of us!"

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

Voordelen: "I like the United app for ease of checkin"
Nadelen: "Flying itself is a terrible experience. Cramped seats, food is nonexistent, no wifi"

Voordelen: "Professional, courteous flight crew. Uneventful flight. When flying at 37000 feet over an ocean, uneventful is a very good thing! :) Deboarding on arrival was quick and efficient."
Nadelen: "My headphone jack in the seat was broken but they offered to relocate me to a seat that worked. I stayed put and used the United app on my phone."

Nadelen: "Sit in the last row and wait for the food"

Voordelen: "lots of good movie choices"
Nadelen: "touch screens didn't always work easily"

Voordelen: "Flight and experience were great."
Nadelen: "I would expect when I book a Luftansa flight to fly in a Luftansa jet. This flight was carried by United and I did not know that until I arrived at the airport."

Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"

Voordelen: "Prima vlucht van Honolulu naar LA in moderne Boeing 737-900 van alle gemakken voorzien."

Voordelen: "Even in economy plus, I felt like a first class passenger."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants were very friendly. The flight was smooth"

Voordelen: "the service and aircraft were excellent"
Nadelen: "space between seat"

Voordelen: "In flight entertainment was great with lots of variety (good for an 8 hour fight)."
Nadelen: "There were always lines for the toilets. Limited leg room. Food was meh."
