Thhe departure was later than scheduled, I did ask for assistance in Zurich airport and got none. Almost missed my connection flight due to poor health conditions and less than expected lay over time."

In plane half of overhead compartments were filled with coats when told that these should go under seats. No consistency between announcements and behavior of crew."

I was not told when I bought the ticket that I will need a visa to transit between Bruxel to Zurich. Now they told me that my only option is to buy another ticket . Thank God éthiopien Airline was more affordable."

Voordelen: "Flight was fine! Snack and beverages were good. However, when you buy the ticket for the international flight, what they don’t tell you is the extra €40- FORTY EURO you will spend to check a not big bag. For this reason I would fly with another airline next time."

Nadelen: "We had to Run from our arrival gate to our departure gate, and take a train, and go through immigration and then a second documents check. It looked to me like Swiss Air knew we were running close as the flight rarely (if ever) leaves on time. It was stressful for us and for the 30+ others who were still in line in immigration when the flight time passed. It turned out to not be a problem but the published times are unrealistic. Seats were tight and comfort in cattle class is NON Existent sleep on an 8 hour flight was not even possible."
Nadelen: "I didn't get on the flight because they lost my luggage and they refuse to give me a new ticket. I was back and forth on the phone with Swiss and still no good word"
Voordelen: "Tried hard but cannot recollect one thing that was better than average."
Nadelen: "Not even a smile from the purser and one other crew member on the Swedish leg. The captain hurriedly "explained", no one understood him, why we were so delayed, but he did not apologize! Zurich airport has no charging sockets! (Ancient) All of terminal A has not a single one! No one supervised the loading passengers not to interfere with those passing by. It was a complete mess. We took off 50 minutes late from Zurich, with no apparent reason. Worst in years for me. We sat in the plane for 30 minutes and were not offered even water. Big fail! (btw, I am unusually so critical)."

Nadelen: "Boarding was a bit chaotic. Food was okay but not substantial. Comfort was terrible in my seat - for some reason I had a seat with a metal box underneath so I could not stretch my legs. And the fellow next to me, in the middle, was over 6 feet and was VERY uncomfortable, even though he had legroom. There were good options for entertainment, but it was unreliable and had to be restarted once. Also, the screen was terrible quality and I could not see no matter how I adjust the screen angle or the light."

Nadelen: "I will only say that I am writing this review as we are sitting on the plane in Newark where we are waiting for our gate for a half an hour already and we do not know when we would get off board. And oh yeah... the flight was originally late for about an hour too! Simply unacceptable!"
Voordelen: "The flight attendants were very nice and the chocolates were nice. Food was mediocre and I'm not sure I'd take Swiss again."
Nadelen: "Seat pitch was too small and the food didn't taste that great. I was lucky enough to get a whole row to myself but on the way back I did not and there is not a lot of room at all. And for an 11 hour flight it was really uncomfortable!"

For an overnight flight, it was ridiculous. The planes for the short one hour trip from Zurich to Florence were more comfortable. The food was tasteless and very artificial in its appearance and taste. Inedible."

Nadelen: "This 747 should be refurbished or retired. I've traveled this flight on 777s and newer 747s. This plane was an embarassment."
Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful cabin crew, even on this short flight. I liked the fact that the Captain stood outside the flight deck to say goodbye to the passengers. A nice touch."

Nadelen: "The guy seated next to me was too big for his seat and he took up about 20% of my seat. Absolutely disgusting. My seat should have cost 20% less because I did not have access to my full space. Crew should be trained to not allow customers who cannot fit into a single seat to only have a ticket for one seat. The crew identifies bags that do not fit, they should do the same thing with people."

Et je n ai pas pu monter dans le vol!!! Je n ai recu aucun message avant le vol. J ai perdu un week end avec mon mari que je ne vois jamais car il vit a l autre bout du monde."
Nadelen: "une seule personne pour l’enregistrement de 45personnes Mal informé j’ai raté l’avion alors que j’attendais pour l’enregistrement pris un bus à la place"

Le vol en lui-même s'est bien passé. En revanche, l'obtention du boarding pass et les formalités à remplir en ligne ont été une vraie galère (et à faire en double exemplaire, en plus (American Airlines + Kayak)).

Annulation sans proposition de solution

Parce que AA a mal fait son planning , pas de pilote . Il a fallu attendre un pilote puis un co pilote. On a décollé avec 1h40 de retard

Voordelen: "Crew was great. Flight delayed due to lavatory door not closing. Then+0, 20 minutes of papaerwork. Followed by no one able to operate bridge when landed for 20 minutes."

Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"
Voordelen: "Booked via JustFly.com and I guess I did not read the fine-print. What seemed like a great deal – $475 USD for an off-peak round trip, LAX-LON-LAX, booked two months in advance – was not much cheaper, once I paid seat assignments and, new one on me, +$100 to check one non-cabin-sized bag each way."
Nadelen: "Please, don't bait and switch British Airways for American Airlines. I chose to fly BA for a reason, but outbound was AA. I know it's a tough job, tending to 300+ passengers on any trans-Atlantic flight, but AA comfort and courtesy were lacking. It was a different story flying home on my BA 747."

Nadelen: "Freezing cold air conditioning. Every person I could see was wrapped up in their blanket before we had even taken off."

Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

The touchscreen didnt worl very well, they offed free headphones but my headphone jack was broke and all of the usb charger ports didnt work in my row there werent many new choices for entertainment. And the food was interesting I'll give it that."
Voordelen: "The food was good, the crew was very professional. The flight was on time. The seats were OK, but not conducive to sleeping."
Nadelen: "We weren't assigned seats together. It ultimately worked out OK because I was assigned to sit between a mother and her young child. They asked if they could have my middle seat so they could sit together - hurray! After that, the person in the aisle seat next to my husband was willing to swap her aisle seat for my new-found aisle seat. But on long flights, greater efforts should be made to seat couples together."

Le personnel de bord ne se montre pas très professionnel : discussions bruyantes entre steward et hotesse sans tenir compte des passagers, remarques douteuses sur les passagers qui ne parlent ni Anglais ni Espagnol. Un minimum de respect des passagers et de discrétion serait un plus.

La gestion de la sortie des passagers de l’avion. Il doit bien exister un mode de fluidité du processus.

Nadelen: "C’est la première fois que nous prenons Iberia et nous avons été très déçus. Personnel extrêmement désagréable. Première fois que je vois tout un équipage aussi peu professionnel, indélicat et qui ne passe pas en dehors des repas. Le repas a été servi et le débarrassage 5 min après. Pas de nettoyage des toilettes pendant les 12heures de vol. Les hôtesses étaient trop occupées à papoter à l’arrière de l’avion. En tant de covid c’est inadmissible. Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et ne la prendrais plus jamais !"

Nadelen: "I know the saying “you get what you pay for”, but good service from the flight attendants should be expected in the price. It was hard to get a greeting or a smile from them, far from prompt delivery of food or coffee ordered. We were traveling with two kids under 5, but there was no help offered. You are expected to pay for any and all food or drinks, including water. The airline could at least offer free water. The meal quality was mediocre for the price paid, and their stock ran out pretty fast."

I have long legs and the seat provided almost no where for them to go. I was very uncomfortable by the end of the flight."

I am allergic to milk (common allergy), you put milk products everywhere. Vegan is the only option, sadly it is usually some sort of Asian food and I am not Asian, have a gag reflex when I smell Indian food. This was not Air India flight, but smelled like one!!! Will avoid flying with United. Somehow, although I booked on purpose with Brussels Air, without my consent (!!!) I was sold tickets for United operated flight. Please, don't tell me that customers are your #1 priority, because they are NOT!"

Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."
Voordelen: "The flight was smooth. Boarding was a bit nerve wracking as a neighboring bin was not closed completely until just before take off."
Nadelen: "The bathrooms were poorly maintained. There was no toilet paper and there was tons of paper on the floor. I was anxious that a piece of TP was going to be stuck to my shoes when I returned to my seat. The flight crew did clean it up. I'm not a frequent flier, but was taken by surprise that I didn't need to check in before getting to the airport. I was amazed that the airlines take it upon themselves to assign seats. I think that's a poor decision as a mom and her 2 small kids were scattered about the plane. Fortunately, people were willing to shuffle around to allow the mom to sit with her kids."

My wife and I were seated in separate parts of the plane each in middle seats at the end of the boarding process when there was no longer any overhead room to store our belongings. Uncaring, unaccommodating crew, waiting area with not enough seats, and cramped seating on the plane with no possibility of sleep during an arduous seven hour flight."

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

Then we were 2 blacks in the last line and we were all selected for "random" check during which the agent touched all parts of my body!!!!! Last, after I ate the food served on board, I went to the bathroom twice, I took I modicum before!!!!"
