Voordelen: "Crew excellent as always on BA, boarding fine, usual hassle getting to seats with other passengers blocking aisle,but when you choose to sit at the rear and the plane loads the forward seats first it's to be expected. Seats were very comfortable (much better than Virgin Airbus 330) and plenty of legroom. Food was better than on previous flights and drinks service was good - shame they ran out of wine, Bacardi and gin towards the end of the flight though! Liked the automated bag drop at Gatwick, much quicker and plenary of staff in case there were any issues."

Nadelen: "I was jammed into my seat. Once the person ahead of me reclined, my knees were pressed into the seat-back for the duration of the flight."
Voordelen: "I thought the staff were helpful and professional. I had enough legroom and there was room for my wedding dress to be hung, although it was slightly small."
Nadelen: "There was a lot of turbulence but I know this is not the fault of the airline. Additionally, the in-flight entertainment was not working properly and this had to be reset on request. There were no wet towels/wipes to wipe our hands."
Voordelen: "Good service ...very convenient... reliability..... but please pleaes start using new aircraft’s I have been flying Ba 118 to London for 12 years ..... I need to update your aircraft’s .... when I do Lhr - NYE the aircraft’s are much better.... all my business friends have now shifted to Emirates because of the service and aircraft’s..... I keep flying BA because of the convenience of the direct flight and loyalty I have for the airline..... but we deserve better aircraft’s....."

Nadelen: "Only a small carry-on allowed and one SMALL purse. Also, there is a charge for beverages unless you are in first class."
Voordelen: "The new boarding process (just one general call, rather than a bunch of zones) was simple, quiet, and efficient."
Nadelen: "The seats were very uncomfortable. There were small ridges on the left and right side - perhaps to compensate for the very shallow seat depth. But these made it hard to sit more on one side of the seat than the other, something you'd want to do if you were sat next to someone who took up a good deal of armrest area. Media screens had a good selection but were unresponsive and had poor picture quality."

Voordelen: "I require a wheelchair for getting around the airport. When I first checked in at LHR, they claimed to have no record of my wheelchair request and my seat change, despite my very clear notations of who and when these were made. They did have a record of my paying for one suitcase. The agent at LHR promised to make these corrections so I would not have the same problem when returning to London. Furthermore, to turn this into a humiliating situation, at the gate I was informed that the jetway was broken and they would have to find some other way to get me onboard the plane. I cannot believe that British Airways has no contingency plan for a situation like mine. After many discussions between BA reps and ground crewmen they decided to bring me down in a lift at Gate 34, though my plane was at Gate 32. I was then loaded onto the freight platform of one of those food delivery trucks and driven over to my plane. The truck backed into place and again I hoisted up to the plane. However the plane door was locked and we had to bang on it for them to finally open it. To my great embarrassment I helped down the aisle to my assigned seat, looking back at the curious looks and glares from all those passengers who had no explanation for the delay and humiliating scene. Officially the flight was listed at 28 minutes late, when in reality it was 40 minutes till we taxied away from the gate My return flight from Brussels was little better because the changes that were supposed to have been entered at LHR never were and so I had to go through this whole routine again costing me over one hour in delays. Fortunately I was able to board the flight through the jetway and did not have to be hoisted up again, and delivered like freight. How would you rate these flights. I had problems with every single British Airways flight!!"

Nadelen: "3 hour delay, no communication with customers regarding delay or connection. Once we finally arrived st Heathrow for the 2nd leg of our journey, we were put on a later connection, no apologies whatsoever from any of the employees. Overall we spent over 4 hours in the air. We were never served even a glass of water or a bag of pretzels. The seats were very tight with very little leg room, and I am only a 5'6" female."
Nadelen: "Boarding the plane. I do not know why the airlines load the people who are at the front of the plane first. Load the people on the back of the plane first. That way, when you call the next section, the people in the back are not blocking people as they enter. An alternative is to call people in sections based on where they sit in a row. If you have window seat, you should be called first. Why? Because so many passengers who have aisle seats have to get up to let people with middle or window seats get in. So, they hold traffic up as people are trying to get to their seats. After window seat passengers get called, then call middle seat passengers, and last, call aisle seat passengers."

Nadelen: "Flight diverted baf customer service over the phone"
Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."
Voordelen: "Timely departure; early arrival. Customer service oriented crew. Due to an oversight on the crews' part (turbulence during distribution of meals), my neighbor and I were not provided meals. When they eventually discovered their oversight and our choice of meal was no longer available, they provided us with meals from first class. Applaud owning a mistake and fixing it."
Nadelen: "Chair configuration is appalling. Paid extra to sit in exit row of standard economy, seat 30J (middle seat). Leg room was ample, seat width was adequate (for someone of small stature) but separation from neighboring seats was non-existent. My neighbors on either side were both plus-sized. I had nowhere to place my arms and effectively had to sit with my arms folded from SJC to LHR. Room for improvement."

Nadelen: "The seats on this British Airways flight were so tight and pitched forward that my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me and I felt as if I was being launched forward the entire flight. Not comfortable or safe."
Voordelen: "I wish the menu can be more kid friendly. I enjoy the food no my kiddos"

Nadelen: "No entertainment. Everything got somehow disconnect d. No one could reboot it and there was no explanation or concessions given. The staff were not forthcoming. The flight also took incredibly long to land. The landing was very bumpy like the plane slammed into the concrete."
Nadelen: "We left two hours after scheduled departure bc 1) the plane was late from prior flight and had to be cleaned, 2) engine check delayed the flight, 3) strong winds forced the airport (JFK) to use only one runway for departures and so on top of our plane delays we were delayed an extra half hour bc of airplane traffic. No entertainment onboard, meaning no screen on back of seat in front for movies, tv shows, etc. Food options were poor, especially breakfast (too much sugar content in all contents of “continental breakfast” pack."
Nadelen: "Connection was late and missed boarding by 25 seconds. The plane wasn't gone, but the door was locked. 25 seconds. Now sleeping in the airport."
Nadelen: "Not BA's fault, but I didn't like the long flight. I liked the pillow and blanket provided."

Nadelen: "There was no one at the gate to deplane us in Toronto. There for I missed my westjet connection home by 5 minutes. I was looking at the plane by the jet way unable to get on. AA staff would not pay for a hotel for being so late to Toronto because the wether was not thier fault, which I agree. But the lack of staffing was and a hotel should have been provided to me due to this. I will never fly America Airlines again due to my incoming flight to Toronto and the out bound to Philadelphia (cancelled on the way to Philly for no apparent reason)."
Voordelen: "The plane was sleek and clean. I had a good amount of room even in coach!"

Nadelen: "21st century...time for Wi-Fi, especially for international flight; should be free to all passengers too. Food is mediocre; like cafeteria food."
Voordelen: "Friendly crew. That the seat next to me was empty allowing me to spead my 6'4" frame out a little."
Nadelen: "Seat back entertainment is not very responsive to touch control. Film tended to lock up and go blank. Took 15 minutes plus to reboot. I know it is only enetertainment, but I expect when I pay for a ticket that it should all be working correctly."
Voordelen: "It was empty and there was a lot of room. It was nice and quiet. They still served snacks and drinks. Can't complain!"
Nadelen: "Voar 8 horas de Miami para Sao Paulo sem entretenimento de bordo foi péssimo. Poucos filmes e nenhum com legenda em Português. Se o voo era pro Brasil acho que era o mínimo que se poderia esperar. A comida estava horrível."
Nadelen: "Served drink as they prepped for landing"

Nadelen: "Food was terrible. Flight attendants were equally bad. Only one attendant was helpful and accommodating. They act like they don't like being there. Need to take lessons from Emirites Airlines. Or Swiss Air. Or even Ethiopian Airlines. Just smile. Be genuinely nice. This bunch were grumpy, conceded, and unfriendy."
Voordelen: "Not much...we did leave on time"
Nadelen: "All most everything. The seats are too small. I felt like I was in a cattle car. The food was cheap and offered little in nutrition. The attendants seemed to be understaffed although one attendant tried hard to be courteous. The lavatories were reeking by the time we landed. Flying has become a chore. As a result of this experience I will look for other airlines in the future."
