Conduite lamentable."

Nadelen: "Vol avec retard depuis geneve, ensuite vol annulé depuis Frankfurt, jlai mon voyage à duré 12h au total, avec un retard à l'arrivée au quel j'ai atterri à 23:15."

Nadelen: "Retard de l'avion ( 3-4 vols différents). Perte de mes bagages qui à entraîner un déplacement pour rien à l'étranger pour le travail vu que je n'avais pas le matériel de travail avec moi. Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Auncuns repas ou autre bois a été offert au moin pour s'excuser. Après avoir eu tous ces problèmes avec la même compagnie j'ai contacter à plusieurs reprises le service client qui m'a raccrocher au nez! On m'a dit qu'on me remboursait Le vol. Je n'ai jamais eu de nouvelles."

Il me semble totalement illogique de me faire dire qu'il n'y a plus de place pour moi dans l'avion alors que j'ai le billet en main et qu'il a été payé. Comment une compagnie peut-elle accepter mon paiement alors qu'elle n'est pas en mesure de garantir le service pour lequel elle a été payée? Selon cette philosophie, il faudrait peut-être payer nos billets d'avion une fois RENDUS à destination? Beaucoup de stress inutile et une mauvaise opinion de la compagnie aérienne..."

Nadelen: "2 changements de portes d'embarquement. NOus nous sommes déplacés longuement dans l'aérogare. Embarquement pourri : encore un bus pour rouler longuement sur le tarmac. J'avais l'impression que l'on cherchait notre avion. Un avion Star Alliance n'est pas Lufthansa. Le siège du passager devant moi était défectueux et reculait sans cesse vers moi. DEux interventions des agents de bord n'ont pas suffi. Le semblant de repas était avant l'arrivée ã Montréal était infecte : une pochette de pain avec simili sauce que l'on présentait comme une "pizza". Ce vol n'avait vraiment pas la qualité Lufthansa!!!"

Nadelen: "À l'arrivée, La navette pour atteindre l'aérogare : rouler 10 minutes en bus c'est ordinaire."

Nadelen: "Le seul à l'embarquement qui était rude et qui n'avait ni grâce ni temps pour expliquer ce que ses collègues ont fait avec courtoisie. Les sièges trop rapprochés malgré mon siege dégagé et le style bas coût, qui signifie surtout bas coût pour la compagnie."

Nadelen: "I had to pay for extra luggage, because though I paid for an Economy Standard ticket which does come with checked-in baggage, there was nothing written on my ticket to prove it. I paid for the standard ticket ahead of time specifically. Although the staff were nice enough, for a struggling student, this mix-up was unacceptable. I now find myself making calls and trying to get in contact with both Kayak and Icelandair for a refund of the 88euro. I think I was particularly unlucky, because I was picked twice for special security checks, which pulled me out of the line I was waiting in while the flight was delayed, and I had to re-enter the line at the end. Though I requested window seats, I did not receive one either time (though I knew it wasn't guaranteed). There was also no overhead storage space for carry-ons overhead, so I had to make my way to the front of the plane to store my backpack, and several of those who came after me had to sit with their carry-ons on their lap. The seats were also pretty uncomfortable with a thick unadjustable headrest; and the air quality was terrible, a bit smelly and very dry. As a frequent flyer (who does fly with icelandair occasionally) this was unusual."

Nadelen: "Forget about comfortable experience during the flight. The way how they list the ticket from Kayak is the scam. Stated Economy class on Kayak and their own website ticket info. Once you chek in, they will stated this is the cheapest economy ticket, doesnt allow any baggage, and you have to pay I think around $150 for round trip baggage. End up with just to carry on, wouldnt able to shop in Europe. If you includ baggage flight would be similar to other airline provide baggage and quality services. Huge mistake, customer service located overseas, and dont care about customer."

Voordelen: "The flight was on time and the crew professional and friendly. There was a decent selection of movies and tv shoes to watch."
Nadelen: "The flight was as I expected. It would have been nice to have some food since it was an international flight but I understand the need to keep down costs"

Nadelen: "Baggage fees were horribly expensive."

Voordelen: "Everything went okay for us on this flight. In the future, I will suggest to my wife, who books air travel for us to read the fine print. The cost to check a bag was $100.00 which would have run us $300.00 for the trip: Boston to Brussels with a layover in Reykjavik, but on the return Brussels to Reykjavik with four days in Iceland and the return to Boston, so there goes the cheap flight! I did enjoy the in-flight movie and a documentary on the return trip as well."
Nadelen: "My own earphones on the flight from Brussels to Iceland did not work. I could not plug them into the system."

Voordelen: "Clean plane and facilities. Nice crew. Email notifications of delays"
Nadelen: "Multi-hour delays - strike induced on outbound flight, weather induced on return flight. Email notifications were nice but inconsistent. Expensive food."

Voordelen: "Icelandair is like going back in time. The stewards and stewardesses were dressed professionally, were high on customer service, it was like flying 30 years plus ago...and that's a great thing."

Nadelen: "Few entertainment options, no food on European flight, and the airport in Reykjavik was terribly congested. It is obvious that the airport is experiencing growing problems."

Nadelen: "Too bad that there is no food included in the flights. We bought sandwiches, and they were worth it though :)"

Nadelen: "Iceland airport was over crowded on the way to Brussels."

Nadelen: "Was given emergency exit row. When boarding I was told our seats had changed. Not only did we not get the exit row we were told, but we got the seats in front of it that don't recline back."

Nadelen: "huge rush to get to the gate(45 min between flights), ran out of food, movies did not work, batheooms were not clean"

Nadelen: "Lack of any snack food without having to purchase even pretzels. Staff courteous, but remote- didn't see them very often on a 6 hour flight."

Voordelen: "Just generally, it's hard to fold into thirds and stay that way for 5, 6, 7, 8 hours. I suppose airlines have to make money and immobilizing people for hours and selling them food if they didn't bring their own is the way do it. I will continue to seek ways to not travel by airplane."

Nadelen: "I wish there was SOME sort of snack that we didn't have to pay for."

Nadelen: "Boarded late, delayed takeoff. 8 hrs on plane. No food. ONLY one cup coffee as refreshment. RIDICULOUS!"

Nadelen: "After a 4 day stopover in Iceland, we could not check in online or at the automated machines for some reason. When we checked in with an agent, we were told that this was because our information wasn't in Iceland air computers. This made no sense, as we had flown two legs of icelandair to europe, and were now boarding the 4 leg of iceland air flights in a 2 week period. We had also both flown iceland air before. Our friends had checked in at the automated machines and saw that there were many seats open. When we asked to see our seats, we were told that they were aisle seats across from each other. In fact, my wife had a middle seat. She is pregnant and really wanted easy access to the restrooms, and I am tall with a back injury. By the time we were up in the air and the seatbelt lights were off, everyone scrambled to the seats WE COULD HAVE HAD (in some cases to lay across 3 seats), and left us with no better options. My wife was extremely upset to have been lied to by the agent checking us in. She was disturbed for the entirety of the flight."

Nadelen: "Horrible boarding situation, small area No announcements"

Nadelen: "The chairs at the KEF terminal are very uncomfortable. Also, the airport is extremely cold."

Voordelen: "The crew were all pleasant and comptetent."
Nadelen: "The airport in Keflavik was pretty bad--so crowded one could hardly walk down the hallways, much less sit down. The food area is very sparse, quite over priced, and very crowded. I will avoid flying through this airport if I can in the future. And Iceland air charges for food on the plane--and this is an overseas flight. Not good."

Nadelen: "Time for connecting flights was short and lines through customs at Reykjavik was long. Stressful for everyone, even though we were told flights will wait."

Voordelen: "Sat in an exit row with extra room for stretching legs. Decent choice of in flight films."
Nadelen: "Wasn't aware that Economy provides no food even on international flights. Don't know of many airlines with that practice. Flight was delayed by 45 minutes and not one single gate announcement was made informing us of the delay or the reasons for it."

Voordelen: "Also really like the very little time between flights when arrive in Iceland"

Voordelen: "The experience wasn't much different than most other airlines."
Nadelen: "This flight was delayed. (As was every other flight with this airline.) Also the airport in Reykjavik isn't designed to handle as many people has they need to manage. Prepared to stand a long time or sit on the floor...waiting for that delayed flight."

Voordelen: "The route back from iceland."
Nadelen: "Service at check in was so slow. The food was horrible"

Voordelen: "Icelandair does a good job or providing free entertainment on their flights."
Nadelen: "Though the free entertainment is welcome, it doesn't make up for the myriad of issues we had with Icelandair during our trip. First, both flights smelled like the bathroom toilet puck (the ones they put in urinals) was used to clean the airplane. Icelandair provides no food for free during international flights, which is an oddity (usually there's something during a six hour flight). I could maybe look past the smell and lack of food, but my wife and I were seated in different rows and sides of the airplane, even though we booked our flight together! Overall, I would recommend another airline. Lufthansa, KLM, or Condor if you're in Europe or traveling around that area. They all have small setbacks but are still far superior to Icelandair."

Nadelen: "Seats are very small. Boarding process could be improved. Seems some people board out of sequence and it screws up the process of stowing luggage and getting to your assigned seat. These same people bring in large over sized bags that will not fit in the above compartment or underneath the seat. Charging these individuals for these violations would deter them from engaging in this behavior. You might also want to add to your instructions how to disembark the plane, some individuals think their schedule is more important and rush up the isle in front of others who are trying to get their carry on luggage from the overhead compartment. Losers!!"

Voordelen: "I really like having the ability to upgrade to a more roomy seat the most. I am 6 foot 1in and leg room is so very important to me when i fly, it the difference between a good experience and a great experience. For just a few more dollars i was able to enjoy a great flight."
Nadelen: "I don't like not having the movies to watch on the back of the seats, although i do understand the cost cutting reasons. It's not a problem, just saying."

Voordelen: "Fairly regular updates from Captain, approx every 15-30 minutes. Flight attendants were ok, performed duties as expected. Announcements were difficult to hear over sound system. I don't know if Captain and the flight attendants were soft-spoken, or if the volume was not turned high enough, but I could hear less than have of what was said over the audio system."
Nadelen: "On the plane for approx six hours. Sat for two hours at the gate, then another hour on the tarmac. Would have been more bearable, but AA's seats are sooooooo close together, that there is nowhere near enough room to stretch legs when weather causes delays. AA's seats are the most uncomfortable (in regard to space and lumbar support) of the three major airlines."

Aucune info à part "vol retardé" et un message incompréhensible aboyé au micro - personnel dépassé à l'embarquement - nourriture médiocre - confort mauvais et pas d'écran individuel, je pensais que ça n'existait plus sur un vol transatlantique"

Nadelen: "I tried to standby for an earlier flight on a first class ticket but I was told that's almost impossible as people waiting for upgrades have priority over me, so they may be able to get me a seat but in Economy. So, AA has no problem having a First Class ticketed passenger traveling in Economy and ticketed Economy passengers flying in First Class. Well, I do have a problem with that and didn't stand for it."

Nadelen: "After having my flight delayed 4 hours causing me to miss my connection, I was placed stand by on a different flight through another city so I could try and make it home on time. I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."

So after waiting in line and doing these two things I had to wait in line again to work with customer service. The staff seemed most interested in chatting with each other."

It is totally a robbery to be charging people for 1 checked bag of only 50lbs. not only is it ridiculous but robbery. You charge a lot of money for the flights as it is and to go and charge people to check a bag on an international flight is insane. It is to bad I have to fly back with you because I will not be flying with you ever again after this I will take my money elsewhere. Also you need to let people know that they are being charged for luggage when the are booking their flight because when I booked my flight nowhere did it say I had to pay for my luggage. It already was rediculous that we are only aloud 1 50lb bag checked and now you want people to pay for it too? Pretty soon you minus well have people just get on a plane naked!!"

Nadelen: "Agent at the gate wouldn't let me do a medical pre-board. When I checked it, the ticket agent said it wouldn't be a problem, I should just ask at the gate. The agent there said there would be no reason to board early even though I have a doctor's note. She said I could board with everyone else and was extremely rude and dismissive. Thank goodness the ticket agent helped me out (by putting me in a seat where I'd be first to board), but if he hadn't, it would have been a terrible experience."

Nadelen: "The crew was rude, after 5 hours they seemed annoyed when I asked for water and gave me half a cup after I had just finished vomitting due to all the swaying of the aircraft. While we were landing, we came over the runway maybe 100 feet off the ground then jetted back up and circled around the airport for 20 minutes before landing horribly...with NO explaination. Everyone started vomitting because the landing (both times) were so horrible. Our first flight was late, we landed when the second was 'closing the doors', they never updated the monitors or informed the crew that the second plane was also delayed (by over an hour), so we rushed through customs and ran through the airport only to discover they hadn't even started boarding yet, even though the screen said it had departed. Completely disorganized."

Voordelen: "Plane from Milan to Lisbon was dirty. Tray tables were filthy the toilet was disgusting as though it had not been cleaned in ages. No in flight entertainment. Only had magazine for purchasing products duty free. Had a difficulty time checking in. Over 1 and 15 mins for check in and we were about the 7th party in line. Agent spent over 15 mins with 3 of the people ahead of us. 2 sections of airport for checking in with TAP be aware and make sure you are at the open check in area.. Aware after about 15 mins that we must be in the wrong section. Then had to pay extra to go through security to get our flight. We arrived 2-1/2 hours prior to plane departure at the airport."

Nadelen: "FLight was late into Lisbon. There were several other people connecting from Lisbon to Boston on our flight from Rome and flight attendants kept lying to us telling us that the flight to Boston will wait for us to arrive. As soon as we landed in Lisbon we were informed that we could not get on the flight to Boston and had to stay an extra day in Lisbon to fly to BOS the next day. TAP gave us a voucher to stay at the Marriott, with lunch and dinner vouchers. The hotel would not let us use the lunch voucher so we had to pay our own lunch. Our dinner voucher was only for a buffett style dinner. The only meat on the buffet was pork which i cannot eat. TAP representative were unfriendly and unhelpful. They ignore you and dont look at you when you talk. We tried to complain to TAP and they had us running in circle to different counters no one would help us, then we were told that we could sit and complain and miss our flight or just go to our gate. TAP rebooked us on a SATA flight ot Boston without even telling us."

Nadelen: "The entertainment platform was on the fritz the entire flight. Almost all the headphone jacks didn't work or were shorting out. This plane had the two prong headphone connectors so you are forced to use their terrible plastic ones. The legroom for an international flight was terrible, almost the same as Spirit Airlines in their economy class. The food was very bad (dried beef with noodle) and cold by the time I was served."

Nadelen: "We flew from MAS to MAD via LIS. The first flight was delayed sfor 3 hours o we had to stay overnight. It took the stuff over 1 hour to finally get us out of the arrival gate and the hotel was 30 mins away from the airport. Plus, we can't get our bags or anything, meaning we had to wear the same clothes for over 36 hrs in the humid and hot weather. TAP stuff gave us the first flight boarding pass and told us to be in the hotel lobby at 5:30, and they will pick us up and get us to the airport to catch our flight. Next morning, we Got picked up, and when we get to the check in counter, they told us the flight is already closed and we have been rebooked for the flight 3 hours later. We followed all the directions, got up at 4, and ended up waiting in the airport for another 4 hours (4.5 yesterday) miserably. If you are gonna to rebook us for a later flight, at least let us take some rest... On what earth an airplane company can operate like this irresponsibly? If you reapect your time, seriously, NEVER FLY TAP."

Nadelen: "Tap could include more fruit in their economy class menu. Portugal has wonderful fruits and it would be healthy to have some in the menu. This time at least they had apple on the lunch menu, which was greatly appreciated."

Voordelen: "This was my first flight with TAP, and I was favorably impressed. The crew was friendly and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised with a hot meal on a flight from Lisbon to Budapest. Overall it was a good experience!"

De plus, une fois livrée, on ne nous previens pas ( dépose à l hôtel sans signature) je n ai pas pu faire constater qu on m a abimé mon vélo pendant le trajet"

Voordelen: "First of all, the crew was amazing. I had just been traveling for about 20 hours and I had a seat towards the back of the economy section. After traveling that long, I was getting antsy to be at my destination, and I asked the gate agent if she could bump me to a row towards the front of economy- thankfully the plane wasn't full, and she was able to! It's the little things like that, that are what make me fly United. Also, the cabin crew on the flight was great! Of course, the economy section of the plane wasn't an ideal amount of space, but come on- it was an hour flight, and they did a good job of trying to spread people out so that the rows weren't packed."
