Ridiculous! We finally begged our way into being squeezed into a flight to Porto. But of course our bags didn’t make it with us and they could not locate where they were or track what time they would get to Porto... we sat at the airport for hours waiting for our bag until they finally offered to deliver them at a later time, which we are still waiting. We missed a full day of our vacation to Portugal because of this situation and are still hoping that our bags will make it to our destination..."
Nadelen: "I have traveled to and from Portugal in TAP for many years and never ever did I have to pay for a checked bag till this year. It is totally a robbery to be charging people for 1 checked bag of only 50lbs. not only is it ridiculous but robbery. You charge a lot of money for the flights as it is and to go and charge people to check a bag on an international flight is insane. It is to bad I have to fly back with you because I will not be flying with you ever again after this I will take my money elsewhere. Also you need to let people know that they are being charged for luggage when the are booking their flight because when I booked my flight nowhere did it say I had to pay for my luggage. It already was rediculous that we are only aloud 1 50lb bag checked and now you want people to pay for it too? Pretty soon you minus well have people just get on a plane naked!!"

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Sièges inconfortable et, en faisant 1m85, tête entière dépassant du siège..."
Voordelen: "Stay away from TAP. I wish the people at the counter were just rude - they were tormenting us and lying to me about my luggage. When they found out I insisted on not checking my bag, they told me they would "keep it" in the meantime. Turned out they went ahead and threw the bag onto the plane. We ended up having to go find it at lost and found. They initially told me it was going to only take 5-10 mins to retrieve my luggage, but then 40 mins passed and still nothing. My poor mom had to wait by the empty belt - and boarding started and the luggage still wasn't there. They forced us to pay 35 euros (it's principle, not the money) when their policy said nothing about it when I booked it on the website. My mom was in tears and I had the worst few hours of my life. TAP - you are disgusting. It takes a lot for me to be upset but you really did everything out of your way to make us suffer. Even told us we might have to miss our flight. You put a huge dent on my trip."

Nadelen: "Not TAP's fault, but long lines at customs and security at Lisbon Airport made us run to arrive at gate for next flight. Again, not TAP's fault, but additional security check at the waiting area, opening carry-on baggage and emptying my purse seemed over the top."

Voordelen: "Out of the 100+ flights I've been on in my life. TAP Portugal has been the worst and least professional."
Nadelen: "My first flight from Madrid to Portugal was cancelled (at midnight) so I had to sleep in the terminal because the bus they provided to the hotel couldn't take all of us. Then my flight to New Jersey was delayed several hours making me miss my next flight to Denver (home) and I had to spend a 2nd night in the terminal. I never received and hotel/food/taxi vouchers. I will do everything to avoid flying with TAP Portugal ever again."

Nadelen: "I purchased this ticket 4 months prior to flying....traveled half way around the world and the flight was oversold. I was bumped and left with people meeting in another country waiting for no one to show up. Go to hell TAP Portugal Airlines."
Nadelen: "Tv screens didn't work because they didn't sign contract and the airline was very difficult to view or make changes to reservation. No way to contact them from a US number."
Voordelen: "I was lucky enough to be upgraded and I enjoyed everything!"
Nadelen: "My media center, screen, music etc abruptly shut off and remained off the the entire trip. On my previous flight all sound was lost on the on board media center."
Voordelen: "The crew was always smiling and friendly. The food was better than it usually is, and I was frequently offered something to drink."
Nadelen: "I didn't receive a headset for my first flight, though I did on the return. Also, I couldn't turn the monitor off, which made it impossible to sleep."

Nadelen: "The overall travel plan as developed for the TAP flight from Boston to Lisbon with a commuter flight change over in Lisbon to Valencia does not leave ample time to go through customs in Lisbon and allow for commuter boarding at the lower level gates as well. The time allocated was 1 hour and 15 minutes. The scenario played out az follows: TAP left Boston 30 minutes later than scheduled. This delay made it impossible to get through customs and be on board the commuter flight 15 minutes before departure. Bear in mind, on the commuter flights your also lose time by having to be bussed out to the aircraft. We and several others missed our flight to Valencia. TAP placed us on a flight to Bilbao that was scheduled to leave approximately 6 hours later. We then were placed on an Iberia flight from Bilbao to Valencia. Only 1 piece of luggage made it to Valencia. The other 2 pieces of luggage were left behind in Lisbon. It was apparent that even all of the luggage failed to be loaded on the TAP commuter flight for Valencia. We arrived in Valencia approximately 12 hours later than scheduled with only one piece of luggage. We returned to the airport the following afternoon given that our remaining two bags were to arrive after 3:30 PM. The real disappointment here is on our return flight from Valencia to Lisbon, they have cut down the transfer time down from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 5 minutes!! What are they thinking?? If we do not connect in time i.e., our flight leaves late from Valencia, we will obviously arrive late in Lisbon and miss our connection to Boston. Thereafter we will miss our scheduled transport ride back home to Rhode Island. I very much doubt that I will use TAP ever again as a carrier to Europe."
Voordelen: "Friendly, efficient staff. Very comfortable seats with lots of room. Food good."
Nadelen: "Boarded about an hr. Late with no notice that it was delayed and NO chairs set out at the gate!"
Voordelen: "Not sure if it was the US customs control, but boarding the plane took 2 hours, with a second security check and pat down and then a bus out to the plane by terminal 1 from terminal 2. Whole process of waiting and dealing with extra security dragged the boarding way longer than necessary. Rest of the flight was fine."
Voordelen: "Rien a dire, très bonne compagnie rapport qualité prix..."
Nadelen: "Je suis intolérante au gluten et lactose. Il faudrait pouvoir faire cette demande et réservation sur le site de la TAP. C est trop compliqué d appeler par téléphone. Prévoyez cette possibilité comme d autres compagnies par internet s il vous plait."
Nadelen: "Pas de choix de films et tres limité sur cet avion"

Voordelen: "The entertainment side is great. TV show and movie options leave plenty to do for long flights."
Nadelen: "The seat had no cushioning whatsoever."
Voordelen: "Nothing possitve to say here."
Nadelen: "I've flown hundreds of flights, and this was my first time with Justairfly (TUI), and it will be my last. In Brussels there was a mechanical failure and the flight was delayed. The problem was that it was delayed 14+ hours. Now sometimes things happen, I understand that, but how you handle those situations is something else. Jetsirfly handled this very very poorly, with complete disregard to its passengers. They would require us to return to the gate almost every 2 hours for the next 14 hours. Then when 200+ people return to the gate Jetairfy and their representatives would not be there. They violated many EU statutes regarding passengers rights. And when this was brought to their attention, they would become hostile, and violate more! For instance, by law, when the delay is five hours or longer, passengers may opt for reimbursement of the full cost of the ticket together with, when relevant, a return flight to the first point of departure. I specifically requested reimbursement and to be returned to my point of origin, and was flat out denied for Jetairfly! By law, if a flight is delayed by four hours or more and the final destination is over 1500 kilometers, the passengers are required to compensation. Not only did they not compensate us, they failed to notify us, as required by law, of this compensation. In general, they did an extremely poor job of handling the situation and myself, and 100+ other passengers have reported them to the authorities. I'll never fly or use Jetairfly or TUI again. And I suggest you avoid this. Airline at all costs."
Voordelen: "The plane was pretty nice with eqch person having their own TV with multipe options for movies. Other than that, it was just a typical flight with nothing great or nothing really bad."
Nadelen: "Again, nothing really poor, but nothing great either."
Voordelen: "Service with a smile. As our flight was redirected to Ostend, the signage was clearly marked to get to the transfer bus to Brussels and the water that was given to passengers before boarding the bus was a nice and welcome touch."
Nadelen: "It was not clear in Dalaman Airport why they were shouting "Izmir" as if they were looking for passengers to Izmir, and it appeared as though boarding was to a flight to Izmir, yet we were all travelling to Ostend. Strange! I thought I was at the wrong gate as I couldn't see a sign indicating Ostend at the boarding area. When I asked if the plane went to Ostend they said yes and took my ticket--but this was never announced."
Voordelen: "The flight crew was very courteous, professional, and attentive. The prepared meals were tasty, nutritious and filling. Also, the selection of free in-flight entertainment (mostly the movies, and tv shows) were satisfiying. They were even able to shorten the flight time by 1-1/2 hours. I would probably fly with them again if their prices remain reasonably low."
Nadelen: "The only issue have with being on an 8 hour flight is being confined to about .5 meter of space. I couldn't move my elbows for the most part."
Voordelen: "The price is unbeatable"
Nadelen: "You can expect high end entertainment and food went you pay a half of the price of the competitors"
Voordelen: "It's not high-end, and does lack some luxuries, but for the price, you get everything you need."
