Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Audio for boarding was a little unclear so there was some confusion at boarding. For reasons unknown, my bag was moved from one overhead bin to another. Very frustrating since I board early to avoid this confusion and hassle."

Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."

Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

I didn't feel well at that time with a severe cold and I endured during the entire fly . I know it's kind of bad but I made it to my country safely. The food was Korean food and I really enjoyed and loved it so much .The Helsinki airport is great with smoking booth and warm ."

Nadelen: "Twice I was passed up and overlooked for food and drink when they were being provided to all. The attendant said i needed to speak up if i wanted something and i pointed out i did and he said he would get me on the way back but never came back until he was picking up the empties. He said everyone else seemed to get served what was my problem and I pointed out the girl next to me was also skipped to which he turned around and never walked down my aisle again. Also, the lack of wiFi on this leg was a disappointment as it was available on the trip to Barcelona. That goes a long way to making the long trip more enjoyable."

Nadelen: "I travel at least 1 week a month either to Europe, South America or across the United States. The Airplaine was extremely old and looked like it was not refurbished at all since the 90's. Unlike basically every other airline (including airlines from the developing world) the plane did not have a personal entertainment system which is rather vexing considering the flight is so long. The decoration of the plane looked old and worn. The crew were more interested in getting the job done quickly than properly."
Nadelen: "This is 2016 and to have planes that don't have in seat screens for entertainment is ridiculous. This was over a 9 hour flight. Won't choose your airline again because of this."

Nadelen: "I pre booked my seat and then was reassigned a different one prior to boarding. Not too sure why this happened and no explanation was given . Spending the night flight right opposite the bathroom was not good."
Nadelen: "Departure was posted as "on time" even though the plane arrived 5 minutes before boarding time and had to be emptied, cleaned and prepared for us. Then we were told there was a delay while a technical problem was repaired. To cut a long story short were were 3.5 hours late after they repaired the anti-skid system. Surely they must have known about this problem soon after landing if not sooner so why couldn't they have organised things better? A replacement plane maybe? I was once in a similar situation with EasyJet in Stansted after we had boarded the plane. They managed to get everyone off and on a new plane in less than an hour! Maybe they could teach American Airlines something?"
Voordelen: "The crew were attentive; the flights left and arrived on time"
Nadelen: "The food was really pitiful, and the wine worse than what you buy in the store. On a more-than-6-hour flight, when the meal is the only real 'entertainment, can't SOMETHING be done to make it more palatable. US airlines make NO effort on food. Other similarly priced foreign airlines manage food which tastes and wine which isn't 'plonk'."
Voordelen: "Handicapped&elderly ground services. Without them I had missed the London/Phoenix plane. I am deafened as adult and could use this service. They fighter me through. Finnair flight Helsinki/London was excellent and ground services in Helsinki. As well as in Phoenix"
Nadelen: "Too short time to transfer"
Voordelen: "The crew was great"
Nadelen: "In Dubai, British Air won't allow you check in more than three hours prior to flight time. Since you can't check in, you can't go through security. Since you can't go through security, you can't get to the actual terminal (where all the stores, restaurants, lounges, etc are). Therefore, if you arrive at the airport too early. you're stuck in the outer holding area prior to the check in area. Nothing to do. Nowhere to go. Still weighted down with all your bags. A real bummer. Once you're allowed to check in, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the real terminal (check in, emigration, security, train ride, etc). The flight starts boarding one hour prior to departure. This leaves about 90 minutes to make it through the entire terminal and get to the gate. Any extra time can be spent looking at all the things you could have enjoyed if you could have checked in earlier. Since nobody including British Air told this in advance, we ended up twiddling our thumbs for eleven hours in the outer holding area."

Nadelen: "Veg food was very poor quality. Snacks appeared to be stale ( may be month old) & very poor choice . Even crew did not listen despite calling several times . Iwill neither travel by BA NOR will I recommend it to anyone else."

Nadelen: "flight was 1 hour and 40 minutes late. We sat on a hot plane waiting for take off and the temperature remained too high during the flight. Very little water was offered. Seating in coach was very tight."

Nadelen: "The boarding in London. They did not call numbers or rows so people just squeezed...and pushed ... drinks If I sit on a window seat I sometimes do not notice the serving of liquids. I would appreciated it very much if they talk to me when they serve water and juice. Otherwise I get dehydrated. Happened last year on my flight back to the US, too.I had to get up and walk back to get water(2016). breakfast Breakfast used to be better with fresh fruits and cheese.and roll The pizzas are like cardboard, I do not care about. Other wise I am satisfied. Thanks"

Nadelen: "Questionable reasons for delay-we were told that plane had to be recalled to check "loading issues" which subsequently turned out to be "clerical error??' Worst possible airline for legroom really cramped and uncomfortable seating Really limited entertainment options for movies and tv shows compared to US carriers."
Voordelen: "Extended information from the captain was very nice"

Voordelen: "The crew were pleasant and attentive. The food and entertainment were good. We had a large meal, a light meal, and a snack for an 11 hour flight. Plus drinks. The lights were kept off for half the time so we could sleep or rest."
Nadelen: "The seats are horribly crowded. If the person in front of you lowers their seat back (as mine did) you have about 8 inches from your face to their seat back. That with already very little seat room and I felt as though I was in a straight jacket for much of the flight."
Voordelen: "Punctual arrival. Vacant seats between myself and another aisle passenger in the center section provided additional comfort and privacy. Lots of attention from cabin crew."
Nadelen: "All flights were canceled! No communication from British Airways. Terrible service overall! Second time this has happened with BA"
Nadelen: "Boarding the plane. I do not know why the airlines load the people who are at the front of the plane first. Load the people on the back of the plane first. That way, when you call the next section, the people in the back are not blocking people as they enter. An alternative is to call people in sections based on where they sit in a row. If you have window seat, you should be called first. Why? Because so many passengers who have aisle seats have to get up to let people with middle or window seats get in. So, they hold traffic up as people are trying to get to their seats. After window seat passengers get called, then call middle seat passengers, and last, call aisle seat passengers."
Voordelen: "Mobility assistance was great help after reaching to Phoenix, USA. Staff and crew members were very helpful."
Voordelen: "Great flight"
Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Nadelen: "It was an older plane and the video screens were damaged. Made for an extremely long flight."

Nadelen: "Old plane, no USB ports or WiFi for a 10 hr trip. Selection of movies not good. Seats lumpy and not very comfortable. Got stuck next to someone that had started the party before he got on, inebriated and smelled. Was taking over my legroom and armrest. Unfortunately full flight so nothing crew could help with"
Nadelen: "Could not get on flight. Had to wait hours for an indirect flight."
Voordelen: "The audio did work for movies"
Nadelen: "I felt very warm and uncomfortable"
Voordelen: "The stewards and stewardesses were great. They worked hard to feed and hydrate the people in their areas, and didn't get cranky when people got up to walk around and exercise. They were pleasant and always available to help if problems came up.. They maintained a good sense of humor and seemed to care about keeping people in good spirits."
Nadelen: "We ran 2 hours and 10 min. over schedule getting from London to PHX. I can't understand why because pilot never said we were running late. When we landed we weren't told about the 2hr 10 min. time overage, but my sister said the plane reversed course around Iceland for a while, then turned around again and got back on track, but the PHX cell lot flight tracking board never said the flight was delayed or running late. She waited for me to get out of the airport an additional 3 hours. Luggage took a LONG time to get to the staging area and we had no clue what the problem was. It seems a simple task to put the PHX luggage in one area of cargo, and luggage going on to another destination in another area so 1st off clients could get their luggage and leave. There was a lot of luggage on the carousel that didn't get picked up. Very poor on the ground crew's part. When I have been in the air for 10 - 12 hours, I want to get my luggage and get home. Customs was a breeze compared to getting my luggage. BA lost my luggage at Heathrow on the way to Prague, and on the return had problems getting luggage to the passengers WAITING at the airport. You need to address how you handle customer luggage."

Nadelen: "after almost missing our previous flight do to ticketing errors, we were then delayed three hours in Dallas this trip truly tested my patients."
Nadelen: "Even though we had assigned seats we did not get them. I requested an isle seat and given a middle seat. Boarding was by far the worst I've see in the 30 years I'm flying, no order, you could barely understand the person making the announcements. The entertainment system was outdated (screen size and resolution) as well as the controls were extremely hard to use. The seats were hard to use and lean back. A lot of force was required to even make them move 1 in. The AC system was NOT working. It felt like we were inside an oven. I've repeatedly asked the crew to fix the AC along with other passengers, and their response was we are going to look into it. It took over 2 hours for the plane to start cooling down. By that time I was sweating profusely and had a headache. Despite the fact that we made our reservations 3 months before the flight, we did not have a seat assigned and we had to wait, in line, for over 20 minutes to talk to a customer rep in order to figure out what's the issue with our seat assignment. To top all that my wife was pregnant and there were no places for her to seat while we waited for a resolution to this matter."
Nadelen: "Even though we had assigned seats we did not get them. Flight was late to depart and really close to lose our connection flight, which for a flight that is less than 1hr you are hoping that should never happen."
Voordelen: "Friendly crew."
Voordelen: "The food was good, plenty of water and the crew was very friendly and helpful."
Nadelen: "This flight was meant to fly out of Brussels, literally twenty-four hours after the attacks on Brussels Airport. As soon as I saw what had happened, I called British Airways at 9am to attempt to move my flight to a different airport, as my connection back to LAX was out of Heathrow. Fortunately, I was in Ghent, not Brussels. So I spent two hours (at 20 cents a minute) trying to get someone to re-route my flight. It was very difficult to even get a call through, as you can imagine. This is pretty much verbatim of my frustrating exchange: BA: We aren't showing the airport as closed tomorrow, so we can't help you. Me: The International departure lounge is rubble - I don't think my flight will happen. BA: You should still plan on it. Me: I'm in Ghent. What you're suggesting is, that I get myself somehow to a city on lockdown, with no train service, no Eurostar, no metro or bus service. Plus it is clearly unsafe - another bomb went off on the metro. You're telling me that I need to go there? BA: Yes. Me: As one human to another, you are seriously suggesting that I go someplace unsafe because you won't reroute me. BA: Yes. At 6pm, they went ahead and let me know the flight was cancelled. The airport was closed for three days in the end. There is very little chance that I would have made my London connection if I'd waited for them to do their job. Needless to say, I'm never flying with these people again. I got myself to Heathrow via taxi/ferry/train. I ate the cost of the flight. I won't even go into how we were locked on our incoming flight for 45 minutes because they couldn't figure out how to open the doors."

They didn't want to help people place their stuff on the over head bins and just watched as people struggled to find space. They also went down the ailse to give food out and were in a rush to do so. The meal options where meat balls and pasta and the meatball option was not good. Then later they served a dessert which was ice cream but didn't let you ask for the flavor. They just gave you whatever came out. They then handed out a flat bread pizza and where in a rush that they didn't give pizza to 3 people."
Voordelen: "The pilot kept us informed about the delays"
Nadelen: "There was no air circulation. Attendants were rude."
Nadelen: "Upon boarding the plane, the passengers on this "non-stop" flight were informed by crew members that because the plane was so small and old, a fuel stop in buffalo would be needed before reaching our destination in Philadelphia. Much conflicting information was again passed by the crew on how much time would be needed at this extra stop. We all were beyond angry and frustrated. Many passengers were then scared because some thought the plane was unsafe. Then the head of the crew began getting angry and pointedly asked a women who was afraid "do you want off this plane then?", in a very sarcastic tone. We paid for a non-stop flight. The crew said that this happens with this flight all the time and has been going on for 10 years. Why in the world is this plane stills being used on trans-Atlantic flights?! This is unacceptable on all levels. The captain said that 80% of the passengers had connecting flights. Schedules were ruined. All passengers should receive some sort of refund."

Nadelen: "Vol opéré par AA, siege minuscule, pas d'écran personnel, repas taille enfant, pas de boissons durant le vol, problème de température dans l'habitacle.... pire vol de ma vie"
Nadelen: "Bruyant,sièges vétustes et cassés. Pas de video individuelles. Gavé durant tout le vol avec de la nourriture infecte. Pas possibilité de dormir sur ce vol transatlantique. Bagage en soute HS à la réception, réclamation."

Nadelen: "Enregistrement très long, c'est simple le passager fait tout, récupérer sa carte d'embarquement, mettre l'étiquette sur sa valise, tout cela a partir d'automates dont la moitié ne fonctionnent pas. Le vol sur un Boeing qui a bien vécu, le modèle avec les ecran accroché au plafond de l'avion et ou tout le monde regarde le même film,"

En plus de toute la fatigue de passe une nuit dans des conditions très difficile, j'ai payer une pénalité de près de 700 dollars USA pour un autre billet plus d'autres frais divers en nourriture et en communication. Le plus difficile pour moi est que votre personnel a New York était insensible a mes problèmes."
