Nadelen: "The plane was so hot, by the time we landed everyone was literally dripping from sweat. It was so uncomfortable that it was cooler outside of the plane even though it was 83 degrees when we landed."

Nadelen: "It took entirely too long to board the plane. Then there were ‘mechanical issues’ that needed dealt with. Well, don’t have everyone sit on the plane for 60 minutes. Don’t continuously state ‘it’ll be fifteen minutes.’ Just give straight answers"

Voordelen: "Pilots that did show up were pleasant and made the best of the situation."
Nadelen: "No scheduled pilots for this flight. Pilots that did arrive had their schedule rearranged---they showed up to work thinking they were flying to Seattle. They were asked to step in to fly to Denver instead---20 minutes after our scheduled takeoff time; not horribly late, but seemingly disorganized, which leads to all kinds of thoughts about AA overall competence."

Voordelen: "The setup at Skyharbor airport in Phoenix is a joke. There is no rhyme or reason as to how they do things. There is no organization whatsoever. Nobody knows what they are doing. Agents are rude. They can’t figure out which gate flights are suppose to go out of."
Nadelen: "I didn’t like a single thing. The fact you pay extra money for a so-called choice seat and then you have to wait til more than half the plane is filled is a joke. It’s all about money w you ppl. Quit being so greedy and focus on customer service."

Nadelen: "More than a 2 hour delay in Madrid for American Airlines to replace the seat harness on the Co-pilot's chair. This seems like an evolution that should never delay a flight if the proper preventive maintenance had been performed. Very little info was given and there did not seem to be any concern by the pilot or flight attendants once the flight was boarded due to the delay. I was very relieved, however, when we arrived at JFK and AA had a point of contact helping folks with close flights. We originally had 3.5 hours to make our connection to BWI, but due to the delay, had less than an hour to go thru Passport control, rescreening and entry to the terminal, but we made it. Thank you for the personal representative. I did not get her name, but she was very, very helpful."

Voordelen: "The crew was awesome. Everyone was helpful and friendly and genuinely wanted you to have a safe flight."
Nadelen: "The plane didn't have a plug to charge your phone or independent dedicated screens you could pick your entertainment to watch. Everyone had to watch the same thing. I suggest downloading your favorite Netflix shows to your phone or tablet for entertainment. The food was just ok also."

Nadelen: "We taxied on the runway for over an hour. The plane was uncomfortably hot while we taxied. They could have waited to board the flight or served drinks while we waited."

Voordelen: "The crew was very accommodating. We were delayed at the gate one hour and the captain allowed us to deboard which was nice."
Nadelen: "The food was not great- a very plain pasta for dinner and a muffin top and yogurt for breakfast. I thinking was an older plane because there were no individual screens and no place to plug in devices. They played Pirates of the Caribbean on small overhead monitors."

Voordelen: "Pilot was very communicative, which was great but plane was 1 hour late and we had a mechanical problem while taxing, pilots fixed it while still on the ground. Not their fault those planes are 35 years old, come on!"

Nadelen: "The boarding process is not organized, even if you're flying first you have to "elbow" your way in. The headphones or the connection are wrong the noise coming of it is terrible, couldn't watch a single movie. Unusable. Tried moving it around and changing for another unsuccessfully."

Nadelen: "I traveled with this carry on for numerous flights and for the last three legs of this trip w/of having to check it. For some reason they made me check it. because I had to spend time at the baggage claim carousels I almost missed the last train of the night back home. Fortunately all is fine, but it caused unnecessary stress."

Voordelen: "Top notch airline - staff is personable & comfortable seating"

Voordelen: "plane was entirely too small for any hope of comfort will advise friends not to book a flight that includes American eagle, and will not use American in the future if I can avoid it."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed my baggage was charged when I use my credit card for the flight and the plan was very small"

Voordelen: "When it comes to travel, there is always something that can go unexpected. Is that happens to you and you come to AA counter with a positive attitude they will make sure you are satisfy with your service."

Voordelen: "Seats were really neither notably comfortable nor notably uncomfortable. I think they were slightly on the comfortable side. Crew seemed friendly enough although my interaction with them was pretty much limited to requesting a full can of coke for myself and one for my wife. Ticketing counter lady in Phoenix was very helpful with seat switching for us and with allowing my checked bag to be slightly overweight."
Nadelen: "Would be nice to have more modern aircraft amenities, like power outlets for device charging, and display screens with at least some complimentary entertainment, or at least flight path tracking."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "First of all, we got on plane on time but had to wait 1h and 15 min to take off!!!ok that's the airport!!!They didn't even welcome us in plane.No food at all!Coke in plastic cup?Just this?No smile, not a blanket even air condition so strong!!!The manager of American Airlines should try to fly with Greek companies!And I don't mean with Olympic airways in Onassis time(with Coco Chanel suits the hall crew) but I mean now, in poor Greece's Aegean air which again and again wins the price of best airliner in Europe..Service, crew, foooood!!!Polite people..Blankets!!! I feel sorry for American Airlines..Ok we landed safe..Thank God, that's something..."

Nadelen: "Missed the connection in CLT to BTR even though flight status on AA's website indicated that it was delayed enough so that I could make the connection. Ended up spending the night in a cold-assed airport with minimal comfort. I was already confirmed on this flight and AA knew, or should've known, that I was enroute. Not pleased at all."

Nadelen: "waiting for crew to board plan & unfortunately they were late bu 160 mins (2hrs & 40mins)."

Voordelen: "Flight attendant was amazing!!!!!!!"
Nadelen: "Too much chaos at counter to board planes, 2 flights scheduled at same gate and my flight was 1hr 30min delayed because of it. Other customers missed flight etc... Admin could have worked better with these upset customers"

Voordelen: "I went from Madison to Charlotte then onto Sarasota Florida. Both flights left on time and arrived early!!! Plus I got to see fireworks!"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed over two hours!"

Nadelen: "Sitting on the Tarmac before take off for 30 mins. And sitting on the Tarmac again for an hour after landing. I always have bad experiences when I fly with American Airlines"

Voordelen: "The crew was very helpful on the plane."
Nadelen: "The reps on the terminal were not helpful at all didn't care that I was in the airport for almost 10hrs were very rude when a question was asked. Just horrible overall. Then my luggage was lost and they didn't wanna help me so they just sent me to customer service line thank God they were helpful."

Nadelen: "My headphone jack only had sound in right ear. Headset was horribly uncomfortable so even if I did have sound the headphones hurt too much to use. Should be able to use your own headphones but there was no option to because of the double jack"

Voordelen: "878 Plane is more comfortable than older planes which helps with the long flight. Legroom in Economy Extra is good."
Nadelen: "Food is mediocre at best."

Nadelen: "Flight was canceled. No preparation. Took three hours to speak to agent, by which time all flights out that day had left or were full. Terrible meal provided the night if cancelation. On flight, meals were poor. No personal in-flight entertainment and movies shown were older. All around terrible flying experience"

Nadelen: "none of the flight attendants seemed to be friendly- literally all of them were neutral or slightly rude at best. Not impressed."

Nadelen: "Je suis arrivé 13 minutes avant le decolage et lequipage na pas voulu me laisser monter dans lavion. J'ai du prendre un vol trois heures plus tard pour fort lauderdale alors que mon pere etait hospitalisé a miami. Personnel tres peu comprehensif une femme a même rit de moi lorsque j'ai dit que mon père avait eu un accident. Cependant le vol etait etait avec air canada et non united"

Voordelen: "- The plane was ultra modern and extremely comfortable (and not full). - We did a Washington-Paris in less than 6 hours. Tail winds helped, but also the timeliness of the process (boarding, baggage recuperation, etc). - Food was excellent although not a lot (the General Tso Chicken was very very nice, the icecream as dessert was good) - Great movie selection"
Nadelen: "- Breakfast was so so. - Free headphones offered are not great. - Not much, all the rest was good!"

Nadelen: "Carte d'embarquement remise par Brussels Airlines à Marseille non valable à l'embarquement! Nouveau gros coup de stress dont je me serais bien passée. Visiblement, il y a des gros problèmes informatiques enrtre Air Canada et Brussels Airlines"

Voordelen: "This flight was a good value."
Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Voordelen: "Beyond one or two friendly crew members, not much."
Nadelen: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."

Voordelen: "Je n ai jamais pris air canada ni à l aller ni au retour . Les avions ont été annulés , je n ai pas été prévenu et ils m ont mis sur d autres compagnies . Un enfer"

Voordelen: "Crew. Entertainment. Food. Leg room was a bit longer than usual."
Nadelen: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, decent food, good entertainment options to make the flight feel shorter."

Nadelen: "United Airlines portion of the flight from Brussels to IAD. My wife and I were seated in separate parts of the plane each in middle seats at the end of the boarding process when there was no longer any overhead room to store our belongings. Uncaring, unaccommodating crew, waiting area with not enough seats, and cramped seating on the plane with no possibility of sleep during an arduous seven hour flight."

Voordelen: "Excellent service and a safe flight."

Voordelen: "Smooth and seamless travel, great seats and punctual departure and arrival."

Nadelen: "Tout le monde a eu trop froid Quant au repas servi, un paquet de 30g de biscuits apéritif c est inadmissible, nous n avions pas diner ."

Nadelen: "On nous facture 200$ pour des bagages qui n arrivent pas à destination, et que personne ne localise au même endroit, on nois a laissé sans solution pour les affaires que nous avons du remplacer à nos frais. De plus, une fois livrée, on ne nous previens pas ( dépose à l hôtel sans signature) je n ai pas pu faire constater qu on m a abimé mon vélo pendant le trajet"

Nadelen: "Nous avons seulement eu deux petites collations pour un vol de 10 heures."

Nadelen: "Peu d'espace pour le confort."

Voordelen: "Le fait que ce vol soit opéré par Air Canada"
Nadelen: "Le vol annulé pour cause do'rages, alors que d'autres avions décollait, et qu'aucune compensation, ni solution soit trouvé pour compenser. Cette expérience est juste inimaginable !"

Voordelen: "We were upgraded to business class. Everything was excellent! Seats were extremely comfortable. Flight attendants took great care of us!"

Nadelen: "poor food no special care for kids as by other companies no entertainment system available"

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

Nadelen: "Personnel juste avant l'embarquement très désagréable et hautain avec une autre famille, une attitude plus courtoise aurait été plus professionnelle et nettement plus adaptée"

Voordelen: "Professional, courteous flight crew. Uneventful flight. When flying at 37000 feet over an ocean, uneventful is a very good thing! :) Deboarding on arrival was quick and efficient."
Nadelen: "My headphone jack in the seat was broken but they offered to relocate me to a seat that worked. I stayed put and used the United app on my phone."

Nadelen: "Mêmes commentaires que pour le trajet IAD-IAH, a l'exception que l'enfant mineur à pu voyager dansce segment avec son père."

Nadelen: "Le fait que malgré que nous étions une famille de 4 personnes sous la même réservation et avec un enfant mineur (10 ans), nous avons été tout le temps séparés et le mineur à même du faire ce trajet toute seule avec 2 autres passagers inconnus à ses côtés. Inadmissible ! En plus, état de propreté des sièges laisse beaucoup à désirer. Finalement: nourriture payante + divertissement payant !"

Nadelen: "I would expect when I book a Luftansa flight to fly in a Luftansa jet. This flight was carried by United and I did not know that until I arrived at the airport."

Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."

Voordelen: "The plane was only half full -- plenty of room!"
Nadelen: "Turbulence (not your fault)."

Voordelen: "The person sitting next to me...that were pleasant."
Nadelen: "That when I explained being hearing impaired the boarding attendant said my carry on needed to be checked. I didn't understand her and proceeded to the loading blank. Then when boarding the attendant informed me. I explained I checked my bag in the airport compartment tester and it was fine. I also asked the attendant at the counter. She confirmed it was fine. Still smiling until the snack pretzels were passed out. When I didn't hear the attendant's question, in spite of telling her I was hearing impaired, she threw her hand up rudely and just continued on to other customers. When boarding I watched orhers board with the same size bag as mine, and wondered if telling someone you can't hear gives them the right to inform you at the gate that your bag needs to be checked?"

Nadelen: "This was a mess as the attendants didn't not have my transfer ticket It took them for ever till the last minute when was called by the Microphone"

Voordelen: "Even in economy plus, I felt like a first class passenger."

Voordelen: "the service and aircraft were excellent"

Voordelen: "In flight entertainment was great with lots of variety (good for an 8 hour fight)."
Nadelen: "There were always lines for the toilets. Limited leg room. Food was meh."

Nadelen: "Starting at Brussels airport I was questioned as if I was a threat. The lady wore an UA uniform. She asked me questions like these: where do you live when you come to Belgium? What do you do when you are in Belgium? Why do you come to belgium often? Then we were 2 blacks in the last line and we were all selected for "random" check during which the agent touched all parts of my body!!!!! Last, after I ate the food served on board, I went to the bathroom twice, I took I modicum before!!!!"

Voordelen: "Boarding was organized and timely."
Nadelen: "One of the flight attendants was patronizing."

Nadelen: "Wanted some snacks in between the meals."

Nadelen: "Delayed boarding at Munich airport"

Voordelen: "Flight wasn't that long. Experience was okay. Flight was full. Attendants did their job. Some were more polite and helpful than others."
Nadelen: "No request was made for the outbound flight which I want to comment about. At Dulles Airport, I checked in at the Brussels Airline counter, only to be told that since I was on a flight operated by United, then I had to go to the United Airlines counter to check in. At UA, I was handed a boarding pass which advised that my seat will be assigned at the gate. I saw on the monitor where the available seats were-1 window, the remainder middle row. I got the feeling that since I bought a ticket which cost less than what the other United Airlines customers paid for, then I was being relegated to seats that the other travelers didn't desire."
