Le transfert de dossier entre Delta et Air France qui affrétait l'avion n'avait pas été réalisé. Nous n'avions pas de billets pour le vol retour. Le personnel Air France à l'enregistrement nous a dit de nous débrouiller avec le service assistance Delta Américain pour le transfert de notre dossier, alors que j'ai des enfants en bas âge… Finalement, quelqu'un a accepté de s'occuper de nous, et après une heure de négociation, il est parvenu à nous avoir des billets d'avion. C'était une expérience très désagréable. Je ferai attention pour mon prochain voyage à acheter mes billets d'avion autrement

Nous avons fait la queue pour l’embarquement pendant de longues minutes. Au moment de passer, on nous dit que nos passeports doivent être vérifiés. Obligation de suivre une autre queue. L’hôtesse nous demande notre test Covid alors qu’il n’y en n’a pas besoin pour revenir en France. Une fois les passeports vérifiés, on nous demande de retourner à la fin de la première queue…donc très long !

Écran ne fonctionnait pas …. Pas d’alternative

Température de la ventilation très basse.

Amélioration: le check in sur ordinateur deux jours avant qui prendr trop de temps et ne fonctionnait pas. (Près de 4 heures dd mon temps ! Entre les essais multiples et amples téléphoniques) make it simpler.

Personnel très sympa, très serviable.

Le repas était léger, avec des légumes mal cuits, une purée trop salée et un morceau de poulet mauvais. Au petit déjeuner, sandwich au fromage 😒

Checkin via l’appli impossible

Notre vol a été annulé, puis l’autre retardé ainsi nous avons loupé notre correspondance. Ensuite nous n’avons pas eu notre valise à l’arrivée

Des casques anti bruits pourraient être transmis si les conditions de voyage deviennent difficiles : les pleurs et les cris d’enfants durant tout le trajet et ce quasi sans interruption ont rendus le vol très désagréable . Vol choisi à l’initial car etant un vol de nuit et cela permettait d’avoir un peu de calme. Le personnel était sympathique et avait des bases en français ce qui était agréable. Ce qui n’était pas réellement le cas pour le vol aller . En vous remerciant,

L’embarquement s’est déroulé facilement. L’équipage manquait un peu de disponibilité

Mauvaise gestion du retard et de l’embarquement. Repas minuscule qui donne la nausée. Personnel de bord qui parle super fort y compris quand 75% du vol dort…. J’étais très mal installé, même dans une low cost j’étais mieux, assez déçue

2 h de retard , les trains ratés à paris ..

Je suis un Franco Americain de 63 ans residant aux US depuis 38+ ans. Apparement mon retour vers Miami a ete booké sans baggage !!!??? De toute evidence une grossiere et innacceptable erreur !!! Comment puis rentrer chez moi sans bagagge ??? Imaginez ma surprise quand Air France m'a informé au "checkin" que mon billet de retOur n'incluait pas un baggage et a refusé de me laisser embarquer avec ma valise de 21 kilos si je ne payais pas un " suplement de €60. A €960+ ce billet ne qualifie pas particulierement de billet "discount"!!!??? Pour compliquer les choses encore un peu plus suite a un traumatisant vol de picpokets dans le metro parisien qq jours avant mon retour je n'avais plus de carte bancaire. Depuis presque 40 ans de voyages entre mes 2 pays je n'ai jamais eu une experience plus desagreable et humiliante dans un aeroport. De retour en Floride a la maison je suis stressé triste humilié et terriblement deçu par ce dernier jour dans ma ville lumiere de naissance.

Nadelen: "Very turbulent, seat did not stay reclined. On a redeye flight, this was the key misery-maker. Seat in front was reclined so no possible position to sleep from the middle seat, even for a short person."
Voordelen: "Atlanta airport was busy and we circled for 30+ minutes, which nearly caused us to miss a connecting flight (customs and all). The Delta pilot was good at communicating with the passengers though."

Voordelen: "I bought the ticket from Iceland Air because their flights schedule dovetailed nicely with a traveling companion."
Nadelen: "On the eve of my departure, I was informed that my return flight had been cancelled and rescheduled without: any offer of compensation, or, an offer of alternative flight arrangements. Pleas to address the situation were totally ignored. This, I believe, is an unconscionable way to run an airline."

Nadelen: "I had to wait almost one hour at check in. The person in charge said there were "issues" with my visa. She allowed me to board to Reykjavik and said the issues would be solved as I flew. I had to check in again at Reykjavik. There was no "issue" with my visa and I was received normally at my destination. Comfort level on business class was sub-par and options on entertainment center very limited."
Voordelen: "I had sprained my ankle the day before my flights, and the crew were all very nice and accommodating for me."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that when I booked my flight, I was misled to believe that my checked baggage was included. The message said that "cabin baggage was included", but since when is cabin baggage NOT included?? I was surprised to find out when I was checking in that I had to pay an extra 50 Euros to check my luggage in, which I was really not happy about since the flight itself was already so expensive."
Voordelen: "Nice fast in and out process. Good duty free shop"

Nadelen: "The check-in process was horrible. It took over an hour to drop off our bags and get a boarding pass."
Voordelen: "Like the stopover in Iceland. Fly out tomorrow but continuing this review now."

Voordelen: "The cost of the flight was very reasonable. It was a direct flight from Reykjavík to Minneapolis."
Nadelen: "I was never given the option to check in luggage. I had to pay $77 to check in my luggage. I had been in Europe for 2 weeks so I needed luggage check. Once on the flight, you had to pay for everything except a few juices, sodas, coffee and tea. Snacks and meals had to be purchased. Another expense. The flight was 1 hour late departing for no apparent reason. I have flown Icelandair twice and both times they were late departing. In visiting with fellow passengers they had similar experiences."

Nadelen: "Was running behind due to late departure of first flight, had to go through duty free shop, then board a shuttle to board the flight. Would prefer a more direct method to transfer between flights before taking Icelandair again."

Nadelen: "We landed early, but sat out on the tarmac for about 20 minutes or more waiting for the opportunity to taxi to another spot on the tarmac where we deplaned and got on a bus. When we arrived at the terminal, the crowds were very large and slow moving. We got through passport control, but afterward my husband was randomly chosen for a security check and was taken away to a secluded room. I tried to wait for him, but after many people came out who had gone in after him, I finally asked where he was. I was told he went out another door and to look for him at the gate. I went to the gate area only to see a massive crowd which completely filled the entire hallway for about 100 feet or more. I I asked a friend to watch my luggage so I could manipulate through the crowd to try to find my husband, who also had no idea where I was. This was very stressful. The flight left almost one hour late, which is unacceptable. Flight transfers in Rekjavik airport were absolutely terrible in both directions. Something needs to be done about the way Icelandair is scheduling flights and not handling crowds!"

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Nadelen: "We departed almost an hour late. Despite checking in early, they put my luggage on a later plane headed for MSP so my ride had to wait an hour and a half after the scheduled arrival. The few movies available weren't new releases and not much of a selection."
Nadelen: "We waited on the plane for 3 hours for our flight to Reykjavid from London to catch our connection to Minneapolis. The crew were wonderful, but the wait was excruciating."
Voordelen: "Everything went okay for us on this flight. In the future, I will suggest to my wife, who books air travel for us to read the fine print. The cost to check a bag was $100.00 which would have run us $300.00 for the trip: Boston to Brussels with a layover in Reykjavik, but on the return Brussels to Reykjavik with four days in Iceland and the return to Boston, so there goes the cheap flight! I did enjoy the in-flight movie and a documentary on the return trip as well."
Nadelen: "My own earphones on the flight from Brussels to Iceland did not work. I could not plug them into the system."
Voordelen: "My exit aisle seat was just great, with no one on either side of me !!!!! Very kind airplane staff. I had a great sleep."

Nadelen: "my flight was cancelled there do to a strike so in return i didnt have to take a flight back."
Voordelen: "Second time I have flown to Brussels with Iceland Air. I love their customer service and especially the flight route. My flight going over was cancelled due to weather. I called their reservation office , had to wait on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes , but it was worth it. The reservation agent found me a new flight on LH, she explained I would get a conformation about 3 hours after our conversation with the flight information and new txt information. I was able to check in with LH on line that evening. Iceland Air had every pre assigned seats for me."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Kevlavik is pretty awful. No seating around gate areas. You have to stand in line for about 30 minutes to then have to get on shuttle to be driven to plane where you have to walk on stairs to get to plane, or in some cases you actually get to board from the terminal, which happened yesterday. I have MS,and sometimes standing for long periods of time and then having to climb up stairs is difficult for me. I also see a lot of elderly people and parents with babies having difficulty with this boarding process. Their airport really needs major expansion for the amount of people that travel thru their. Seating araes around their gates should be a priority."
Voordelen: "Good entertainment and friendly staff"
Nadelen: "There was no free snack or food available on this flight, which was overnight and overseas. There was only a 45 minute layover, so no time to purchase food at the airport either."
Voordelen: "The flight was reasonably priced."
Nadelen: "Didn't like the idea that you had to purchase food during this international flight."
Voordelen: "The Skyr is delicious! The best 3 euros we spent in Europe perhaps."
Nadelen: "Part of the deal is that Icelandair didn't include a meal on our flight from Munich to MSP (transferring in Rejkavik). They do have things you can order from a menu (and those were quite tasty), but just be aware that meals are not included. If this (and asking you to pay for wifi) keeps ticket prices cheaper, it's probably the best situation for everyone. We had a brief delay in Rejkavik."
Nadelen: "No meals or snacks provided on a 6 hour long flight, and the food on board was expensive."

Voordelen: "Good price and short layover. The plane was clean and comfortable."

Nadelen: "The Iceland airport needs to be enlarged quite a bit to accommodate the influx of tourists. It will prevent people from returning. We waited over an hour to check our bags after we had checked in on kiosk. Our flight was 30 minutes late because of the slowdown."
Nadelen: "Was given emergency exit row. When boarding I was told our seats had changed. Not only did we not get the exit row we were told, but we got the seats in front of it that don't recline back."
Nadelen: "We went from gate to gate, with a five minute departure window and then waited almost an hour for another inbound group of passengers."
Voordelen: "Our high-school friend had never flown before and she needed to come home early from our trip to Germany. You all treated her so well, and made her trip home pleasant. Thank you."
Voordelen: "Seats weren't as uncomfortable as in other planes. Leg room is adequate."
Nadelen: "Seats were still very uncomfortable, did not recline enough for a 6-hour flight. Entertainment system was outdated and very difficult to use. Small quantity of drinks provided was silly. Under-seat storage is so tiny you can't even fit a bag under there."
Nadelen: "There was no meal service for a six hour flight which I find to be hard to believe, but for what I paid I guess I can't expect much."
Voordelen: "Ease of boarding, seating assignments such that crowding on an I filled airplane didn't happen; handed a bottle of water when boarding."
Nadelen: "Lack of any snack food without having to purchase even pretzels. Staff courteous, but remote- didn't see them very often on a 6 hour flight."

Parce que AA a mal fait son planning , pas de pilote . Il a fallu attendre un pilote puis un co pilote. On a décollé avec 1h40 de retard

The crew was rude to multiple people when boarding, and did not care to help during the flight. Their safety presentation was incoherent, and repeated a single portion or it 3 different times before we even left the gate. Just a poor experience.

Very pleasant.

Check-in was a nightmare. At least half the self-serve kiosks were out of printer paper so were out of service. It was chaos. No one was directing traffic, so you had to hope you were in the right line. We finally got to a kiosk and checked in, and printed one bag tag for checked baggage. We were in line to drop off the checked bag, and the lady working that station just walked away and didn’t come back. After we waited a bit, another person in line went to ask at the nearby counter if the bag check person was coming back, and she wasn’t, so we had to find a new line and wait all over again. Once we got our bag dropped off and our tickets, the rest was easy. The security line went quickly, and the terminal was clean and nice. Our flight was great and the flight crew was excellent. I think if someone had kept up with the kiosk printers, a lot of the check-in headaches and stress would have been solved.

Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

It should have been possible to at least talk to someone that could address my situation but now I'm stuck with the likely loss of something important to me and a strong dislike of American airlines. I'm probably just salty because it happened yesterday though. I'll get over the jacket eventually and probably fly with American again. But I will always resent them."

I understand that things happen, but most of the problems today seem to have been preventable. First, our plane in Lihue was delayed for over 3 hours because they could not get a working fuel truck to fill the plane. Three hours? This caused us to miss our connection in LA, although just barely. We had to wait onboard so that we could use the same gate that our outgoing plane was departing from. If we had just been sent to a different gate we. Oils have made our original flight. So, they put us on a flight to Chicago because there were no more flights to Minneapolis. Then, once in Chicago the incoming plane was delayed and we sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes before deplaning. Then after an hour delay we were told the crew was on the ground and we were boarded. Sat in the plane for another hour, then we’re told we were still waiting for crew members that were delayed so we deplaned again. Another 90 minutes past and we got back on the plane and sat for another 45 minutes. We are finally pulling away from the gate. Hallelujah!"

There was plenty of room in overhead storage for my bag."

Misleading or incorrect information resulted in us being charged $95 to check a bag. This did not happen on our flight from Boston to Lisbon - the bags were checked through. So at the end of our trip, we were tired and waited a long time to be told that we had to pay $95 for each bag (two of us, we each had one). This was profoundly disappointing. The food was not good. The crew was great. Seats are uncomfortable, and it's like riding a bus. I'd never pay for an upgraded seat because even business class didn't look much different. Generally, I fly a legacy airline, but I wouldn't book with TAP again.
