Nadelen: "I didn't get very good instructions about picking up my carry on bag plane side. I was told to go to the baggage claim instead by a staff member when I came out of the plane, but this was wrong, so I ended up waiting a very long time for them to bring me my carry on bag to the baggage claim."

Nadelen: "They lost my bag in my layover at DCA. Even with a first class orange tag and 1:10 layover, they didn’t transfer the bag between planes on a Thursday evening. The planes were probably 300 feet away. Clearly their entire luggage tracking systems at DCA are broken. Even with 1:00 connections at O'Hare, DFW, PHL, my luggage has not gotten delayed."

It is hard to mess up the boarding process so that was okay, but the seats were cramped and awful. there was no crew around to offer water or anything. No snacks or anything to do for a 5 hour flight. long lines for the bathroom. Luckily I brought a tablet, but having no room whatsoever to move and never even seeing a flight attendant that i could ask for water made for a miserable flight."

Nadelen: "The fact that I was delayed twice, given false information, had to wait to board because a flight attendant was late for her shift and then had to run from terminal to terminal to find my flight on my own because no representative could help me or show up."
Voordelen: "Nothing Flight was delayed , which made me miss my connecting flight."
Nadelen: "Mostly the staff who were not friendly at all. Two of them were very arrogant and ignorant. I’m not looking forward to my flight home and I’m thinking of changing airlines. I’ll never travel AA again. Very disappointing."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed and then the airport in Philadelphia "wasn't aware" that we were coming to it took forever to get off the plane. I would have missed my next flight if they didn't wait for us. Also I couldn't check in online beforehand, which was frustrating. Also I waited in line at the British Airways desk to check in and it was a long line. When I finally got to the front I was told I had to check in at the American Airlines desk and I wish I had been told that earlier. One staff member was rude when I asked him to repeat the food options."
Nadelen: "Seats are cramped"
Nadelen: "notre vol a été retarde retarde!!au lieu de décoller comme prévu à 8h30 notre vol a été finalement annulé vers 23h30. On m'a relooké sur un vol pour LONDRES le lendemain à 19.h. Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."
Nadelen: "Flight from Gulfport was delayed 3 hours and carry on bags with wheels were not allowed on the plane even though there met the size requirements for a carry on. I was allowed to bring it on the incoming flight, which was the same kind of plane. Not a pleasant experience and will definitely avoid American Airlines in the future."
Voordelen: "Friendly Staff"
Voordelen: "My flights were booked through British Airways, but these segments were operated by American. Madrid to Dallas was on a 787 (a very nice ride). Entertainment options were very good (although not as diverse as on British Airways). Food was excellent. The crew was very pleasant."
Nadelen: "There is not enough waiting space at Madrid Terminal 4S for passengers on large aircraft. Boarding was not as fast and orderly as it should have been. Customs and passport control at DFW is very time consuming (much slower than at many other comparable airports). To change terminals, it is necessary to go back through security and then take a train. It took more than 1.5 hours for me to clear customs and get to another terminal for my connection."
Nadelen: "Long time sitting in the plane without any updates from the crew. Very inefficient process in re-booking passengers and switching planes. Maintenance issues are are a trend at American Airlines."
Voordelen: "good price and a good route"
Nadelen: "This turned out to be a 'code share' flight operated by American Airlines. As such, neither Qantas nor American Airlines would allow me to buy premium seats so we could have extra leg room. They said the 'code share' blocks seat sales! Be ware Also found out that American Airlines does not serve meals on flights from Toronto to LAX. I was told they only serve meals on "international flights" but that I could buy a sandwich or snack. Unfortunately they only had 4 sandwiches on board , which sold within the first 2 rows of the plane!"

Voordelen: "Appreciated how the pilot managed to get us to our destination about an hour faster than scheduled. This time the free gogoflight entertainment worked. Was able to watch a couple of movies without any technical problems."
Nadelen: "Because the flight arrived so early, there were no gates available to dock. As a result, we were in taxi-mode for almost 30 minutes. This pilot tried to do is a favor but ended up frustrating all of us. They didn’t have enough food on the flight."
Nadelen: "Bags did not make the flight. Served no water or drinks."
Nadelen: "My checked bag did not make it to London, and it’s really affected my short stay which requires a lot of traveling around England."
Nadelen: "Boarding was terrible, like they never done that before. They do not offer even just a glass of water- nothing."

Voordelen: "It was IBERIA Flight: -Seating was good--very nice reclining seats. -Flight left and arrived on time.."
Nadelen: "It was IBERIA Flight: -Video remote did not work well and the touch screen did not work well. -There was no vegetarian option for food--and food was not that good. -There was a check in for Business class but then for actual boarding there was only 1 line and it took almost 30 minutes to Board and we waited in long line. -Maybe the crew did not understand English so well. Thank you for listening."

Nadelen: "I would have like them to have been more humane and provided me with enough information so I could go ahead and get me something clean to wear right away. Tonight after I called they still don't have information on my luggage, and overall should have a better management, cause once I give my luggage to them, I expect them to care for it, that is implied on the customer service agreement."
Voordelen: "For a long haul, Iberia's standard class was fine and the seat actually had more room than I expected (having flown them in Europe). One flight attendant was AWESOME and helped me out when my gluten-free meal didn't arrive. I would say she went from ok to friendly so maybe not AWESOME but compared to the other flight attendants who weren't friendly at all, she was good."
Nadelen: "1. My gluten-free meal didn't arrive. AA pulled the same nonsense when I went from LAX to LHR. It is pretty infuriating. 2. My entertainment screen failed about 1/2 way through the flight. I came prepared but it was still annoying. 3. I pre-paid for a seat which was a hassle because the transaction failed with a cryptic message online and I had to call. When I went to check-in, I had a window, not aisle and was positioned at the very back of the plane. I requested a refund on the phone and that wasn't allowed so I tweeted (as they adverstise) and now filled a claim. Still no response."
Voordelen: "Smooth, more food than I've had in the past on united, everyone was friendly, everything seemed clean, smooth take off and landing!"
Voordelen: "On time to madrid... late to Alicante"
Nadelen: "Personal video screen froze and didnt work...chicken meal was too salty. Britisk airways cancelled our return transatlantic flight LGW to JFK and the Iberia (one world) representative Alicante airport could not help us getting on another flight we now are landing in LGW and have to transfer to LHR at iour own expense and are getting to J FK almost 4 hour later than scheduled...spenrt over 40 minutes on phone with British airways at international cell phone rates which also cost us a fortune"

Nadelen: "Group system to queue on line was okay but people still seemed confused. Crew forgot some people's request. Bathrooms were smelly and dirty only after two hours on plane."

Nadelen: "check-in very poor. Priority check-in was slower than the others. The attendant was unhelpful and had inaccurate information"

Nadelen: "No entertainment, I can't believe how close the seats are to each other. I'm not a very tall person and my knees were hitting the front seat constantly (and the kness of the passenger seating behind me of course)"
Voordelen: "They really know how to treat passengers. We enjoyed flight and the food was great. I haven't eaten so much on a flight in he last 14 years"
Voordelen: "Missed flight as scheduled changed forward by half an hour and re-organising another flight was difficult. Had to fly from another airport in Spain and transfer was without assistance. Staff did a good job at sorting a solution. The return home on BA was excellent and very efficient."

Nadelen: "Really disappointed with a lack of service. On the 8 hour flight we had one meal service within an hour of take-off and one within an hour of landing. No water or checks or anything for almost 6 straight hours, unlike my prior flight. I had to finally get up and ask for water. Very disappointed."

Voordelen: "Seats were not as bad/tiny as expected although they would not recline at all. We were served 2 meals on our overseas flight. That was also a surprise."

Nadelen: "BA doesn't give food. Must purchase... No problem!! BA doesn't accept USA or China CC or debit. I was starving! After using on earlier flight, I knew I could use Apple Pay. Old, dumb, inconsiderate, rude flight attendant wouldn't even attempt trying alternative payment. She humiliated me. I was uncomfortable, embarrassed, hungry, and furious the entire flight. Never ever again! British Airways is incompetent!"
Voordelen: "It was very slow beginning with taxing to the airport and then disembarking. We stood for a very long time before the door opened. Probably the delay getting to a stop when in the taxi mode was due to the airport crowdedness and not the airlines fault."
Nadelen: "We were on the plane for 2 hours before we were offered any drinks (soda, water, etc.) The seats were quite small ( I'm average sized.) and I often felt as if I were slipping off the seat. The aircraft was very warm with poor airflow."

Nadelen: "The people from Iberia told us to pay what we had to pay and that they'll give us our money back when we return. They payed me only for the taxi but for anything else. I lost more money than I was expecting and the people returnung the miney back to its clients were so disrespectful I really donmt want to use Iberia again."
