Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Nadelen: "We booked these flights expecting Lufthansa. Little disappointed to learn they were Brussels airlines. Inflight entertainment options and meal options don't seem to be as good. Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

Nadelen: "First of all, the boarding took an hour longer than it should have been so we all sat in the plane dripping with sweat, because it was 100 degrees in Houston and the plane didn't have A/C on until we took off. Food was not good, some mysterious meat they called beef stew and veggies with strange texture. We ended up drinking more since the food was bad. The entertainment choices were OK but the equipment was a bit ancient, my husband's screen ( we sat in the front where screen pulled out of the seat) was broken and was held by a duct tape(???!!!) The seats are small, I have flown with other companies on transatlantic flights and their seats are bigger and more comfortable in economy class."

Voordelen: "The Lufthansa help desk fairly quickly resolved the ticket and boarding pass problems."
Nadelen: "That it was still necessary to use the help desk to get aboarding pass, although they were totally professional and resolved the issue."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was fine, about what you'd expect from a short-duration flight on a major airline."
Nadelen: "I wished to change to an earlier flight with plenty of seats available. the Lufthansa ticket agent stated the only way, as I had booked a "light" fare, was to pay a full-price one-way economy ticket--plus luggage--for about 380 euros with no credit for my current ticket. After booking a day-room at a local hotel, I checked in on-line and discovered for 115 euros I could have upgraded to business class, with luggage included, and been accommodated on schedule changes. My suggestion to Lufthansa is if they intend to rip their customers off it's best NOT TO LET THEM FIND OUT ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE, or if they're simply too incompetent to match marketing offers to their booking department they could save considerable income and reputation by closing the ticket office. As it was, the impression was a low-class money grab. It's not like they can count on their partnership with United to make them look good."

Nadelen: "The airplane was extremely cold and the flight staff was rude"

Voordelen: "Glad to have a sandwich; it tasted good. The caterers use lots of mayonnaise on the cold cuts which can be messy since it was oozing out but I like gooey food rather than dry food so I was happy. Very nice crew."
Nadelen: "Just odd that I walked a mile thru the airport to make the connection only to board a shuttle bus that went back the same direction for the longest such ride in my life, past parked planes, maintenance areas, fuel storage tanks and finally the cargo plane section where our plane was located. Might be hard on those more impaired than I am to handle the stairs down to the bus loading dock and again up into the plane."

Nadelen: "Boarding was delayed. Though staff present at the gate, no announcements were made, not communicated to the passengers. All of sudden a big line to board the flight. Entertainment - when compared with other airlines, very few movies available."

Voordelen: "In terms of things I liked flying with UA998 from Brussels to EWR: The boarding staff at Brussels airport was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Boarding procedure was smooth even with the extra security screening at the gate."
Nadelen: "It was quickly clear to me that the passengers where simply an inconvenience to some of the crew on UA998. As an example I fell asleep during take off and woke up in the middle of the meal service. The cart was only a couple of rows behind me in the half-ful Economy Plus section so I got up and tried to get the attention of the staff. The lady turned around and confirmed that "I had woken up" with a sigh, as is not only was it inconvenient to her that I was a sleep, now I had the nerves to actually ask for a meal. She presented me with the options of pasta and chicken and I politely asked what they where served with. She straight out said that "she really did not know that" and asked me to make a choice. I wont get into any other examples, the machine was half full at best and there was no stress, so frustrating to be treated like you are an inconvenience to the USA based staff who clearly just wanted to be left alone. The entertainment system barely worked, the touch monitor was very hard to operate - the pressure sensitive functionality was not working properly but I managed to get to my movie and avoid the Chinese subtitles in the third try. I fly United because it's part of Star Alliance, but otherwise I would try and avoid at all cost."

Voordelen: "Melanie/ticketing was superior in securing seats on a different departure. She endured many nervous travelers. The new itinerary matched our original time of arrival at ORD within 2 hours. :)"
Nadelen: "The free check-in of our carry on bags only dissapointed us when not arriving at ORD. We expect them to be delivered soon."

Voordelen: "Entertainment is great, although I did not use it much this flight"
Nadelen: "Seats were uncomfortable, tighter than I remember last time I flew Luft."

Voordelen: "The crew was attentive and effective. The vegetarian food was excellent. Plane was clean. Bathrooms were checked regularly."
Nadelen: "Generally, I'm a happy camper and easy to understand some "discomfort" that comes with traveling. Return trip operated by United. Terrible experience. No legroom[I'm 6'-2"]. The seat confinement was so stressing that it was impossible for me but just to extract myself and find a place where i just could stand. Meaning I was standing most of the trip. My wife and myself are globetrotters and this was one of the worse flight experience ever."

Nadelen: "The seat pitch was so small my knees were hard against the seat in front of me for 1.5 hours and I was miserable the whole time. To put this in perspective this was the most uncomfortable I have ever been on an airplane. My legs hurt the whole flight. This was the first leg of an expensive international flight and given the price of the 2 legs I should have been upgraded to a more comfortable seat. My flight to Europe on Iberia was excellent. Voordelen: "Flight from tel aviv to Madrid was awful. Bathroom was dirty and no hand soap. Ordere d a special meal and never came. It was so cramped you couldn't move. I was betwee 2 tall men who placed there legs under my seat. No direction for connection flight."

Voordelen: "Lie-flat seats were very comfortable. Flight was quite smooth. Left late but arrived on schedule. Wine was very good."
Nadelen: "Food was disappointing. IFE was so-so. Baggage handling was very slow on arrival."

Voordelen: "Every flight was on time with no delays. Crew was excellent."
Nadelen: "Large plane did not have individual air controls and several flights were very warm."

Nadelen: "Chaotic boarding. A large crowd was allowed to clog gate access, and no announcements were made regarding boarding procedures therefore as a preboarding family with toddler we had to push through the crowd to accessential the gate. It seems boarding status announcements could have alleviated the boarding tension."

Nadelen: "It landed with a very narrow window to my connecting flight"

Nadelen: "Chair design very uncomfortable. Food was for sale - I find that really cheap. It's a two-hour flight. Drinks and snacks should be part of the package."

Nadelen: "We ended up flying to Paris on Air France because it was the only flight left after RAM screwed us over. Cost me $1800 dollars and no chance to retrieve my money back unless someone sends me a letter saying someone screwed up. Need help please!"

Voordelen: "I was safely delivered from New York to Tennessee in pretty turbulent weather."
Nadelen: "The craft was small and the seating was cramped, seats were uncomfortable. The flight attendant was very brief with the Safety protocols and really did a poor job of demonstrating how to use the safety equipment provided on the aircraft. This was a disservice to first time flyers."

Nadelen: "Not be able to get seats in advance with IB. From Miami to Madrid, it was no problem at all. AA assigned our seats a month in advance."

Voordelen: "Nice plane, good entertainment"
Nadelen: "We never had the option to reserve seats. Not sure if this was because we booked thru kayak or if it was the airline but this was a long flight and I would have paid(although not happily) to get to sit next to my husband. As it was, we both got center seats separated on the plane. Very inconvenient and very uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "Paid $10 for WiFi that didn't work. Given standby seats despite arriving 2 hrs before flight. Service was not particularly friendly. Will try to avoid Iberia in the future."

No TV's in chair nor automated food ordering. Made it on time and safe, which is important. I was able to pre- order a vegan meal for my flight which is fantastic...and it was very tasty. No seat assignment until just before I boarded plane. Very disturbing."

Nadelen: "i went to the (galley?) at the back and politely requested a drink, a member of staff refused me because they were just about to begin serving drinks. that's stupid. i was sat right at the back of the plane and wouldn't get a drink for at least 20 minutes because service starts in the middle and works back. fortunately another member of staff (older, female) just reached over and handed me a drink, because she understood it was easier and quicker and more reasonable to do that than to be a dick about it."

Nadelen: "boarding was later then it should be, also when the boarding starts everything was super slow, and they try to put all people from one plane to one bus ..in the end when was completely crowded and there were a few people that really can't get in because there was no space left, finally they bring another bus for them... Our departure was late and we were half hour later in Warsaw."

Nadelen: "The boarding took such a long time to get every one on the bus and there were only two busses and we were left to wait out side on the busses in the cold."

Voordelen: "Budapest check-in is chaos, very long rows, no baggage drop off desks and very little info. Tense atmosphere at the desks. If you complain then they offer for €5,- to skip the line and check in your luggage. I thought it was a joke, but they give you receipt and all. Very unprofessional."
Nadelen: "Having flown with Wizzair before, also to Gdansk and other cities, it a budget airline but okay. Budapest is kind of their hub, but what a terrible way to treat your customers. Get your baggage drop off automated!!They left everybody freezing on the apron because they only had one stairs available."

Nadelen: "Flight left vaguely late, air stewardess disappeared into the cockpit for 50 minutes. Hmm, I wonder what she was doing in the cockpit. Whatever she was doing she wasn’t helping the cart so I only got my food 20 mins before landing approach. Air pressure was weird too, nice American lady next to me had problems with her ears more than usual."

Voordelen: "On time, cabin crew, ease of boarding and amount of bags I could take with Priority Boarding"
Nadelen: "My seat hadn't been cleaned prooerly before I got there and if I hadn't done it myself, I would have someone else's chocolate all over the seat of my trousers. Also, the bathroom floors were really gross, to the point I had to roll uo the legs of my trousers so they didn't get wet when I needed to use the toilet."

Nadelen: "The borsing from terminal 1 is should be highlight The man in the check in and bording wad not nice at all. He didn't answer any question. They took our hand bag. We couldn't take it to the plan and no one explaon why."

Nadelen: "There was a problem with their website that was out of our control, that didn’t allow us to print boarding passes and we were charged at the airport even though we had proof we tried and were not able through no fault of our own"

Nadelen: "Not even a roll for a 5 hour flight! They ran out and then wanted to charge £3.50 for a coffee when they ran out of food to even buy! Staff were not friendly at all."

The clerk raised his voice and was disrespectful to me and other customers. The flight itself was ok, nothing special but not bad either."

Nadelen: "There was a mix up and the Wizz Air website did not work. Therefore, I couldn't check in a get my seats booked. I also could not prepay for my luggage so they overcharged me at the airport and had an attitude about it. My luggage was given three different prices quotes. I am very upset their website didn't work and they ripped me off at the airport."

Voordelen: "Wizz air has great deals and you will get to your destination which is a effective way to travel. Unfortunately the seats are not always comfortable and everything else costs extras for food, seat choice, bags, water, drinks, or anything else you’d desire during flight."
Nadelen: "The seats don’t lean back and do not have a lot of cushion."

Nadelen: "Checkpoint at katowice the wirst ever seen, personnel with very bad atittude wanting personal cosmetics to fit on stupid plastic bag, the rest wanted to scrap or document my bag to pay extra even I already pay for bring it inside cabin, same before boarding I have my computer backpack and already pay 10 eur for large cabin bag and before boarding they wanted for me to checkin baggage because rule is only backpack even I did explain I already paid large cabin, at end I paid 63 Eur total for my luggage I found completly dissapointed and abusing from many passengersbin the same sittuation, also fly have us inside the plane for more than 30minutes without leaving,"

Voordelen: "Facilities are terrible! It was like stepping back in time! To use this as a stopover, is a poor decision because this airport does NOT meet the brief and does NOT warrant being used for passengers. I’ve been very polite here, I have more choice words I could use"
Nadelen: "Nothing! To learn that Wizz Air ‘allowed’ cabin size is so tiny was really shocking! With All the other budget airlines, easyJet, Monarch & even Ryanair my cabin would’ve been fine. This is the same hand luggage I’ve been using using for many years."

Nadelen: "The whole process of wizz Airlines is terrible. No customer service at the airport to hidden fees to airport 3rd party contractors who don't care at checkin Do yourself a favor just book a major carrier of your choice instead of saving 100& on weak I mean wizz Airlines. It will make Budapest a more enjoyable time before you touchdown."

Nadelen: "Despite long delay, there were no announcements by the staff about the delay until we were already almost 40 minutes past our original departure time. No water or food was distributed to the passengers despite the delay. Delay was not wizzair's fault but there was no customer service to speak off."

Voordelen: "I like the bubbly upbeat attitude of the flight attendants interacting excellently in English and other languages and also how they dealt with an angry passenger."

Voordelen: "Brand new planes - on board crew was pleasant and the flights were smooth and on time."
Nadelen: "Ridiculous size restrictions on carry-on. If you can pack your clothes in a wallet, then you should be able to carry on at no cost. Only the smallest of bags will meet the "free" requirement. Website is awful to attempt to online check in. Crazy that they charge for check in at the airport if you cannot get their site to work. Customer service phone call also costs a quid a minute. It's almost as if they are proud that they screw you if you encounter any difficulty or you've made a mistake in the complicated boarding pass emailing procedure."

Nadelen: "I still struggle with any airline that doesn't give water for free. I also sat in an exit row and no one from the crew even talked to me at all to see if I understood my duties."

Voordelen: "Horrible. Website won't take payment for baggage. Charge over twice as much at airport. Black list this company."

Nadelen: "We were made to wait for some 40 minutes in a glorified cattle shed with no seating before boarding. Will never fly with this airline again, however cheap it might be!"

Nadelen: "On arrival at Travieso airport there were no directions or meaningful signage. Once signage appeared baggage was handled efficiently and the person who was doing this was very helpful in explaining the next steps in process They could do a better job of developing graphics and signage. Also not the airlines fault but the pre-boarding area was crowded warm and again not much in the way of any instructions"

Voordelen: "Got to where I needed to go. Ground crew and flight crew were friendly and professional."

Voordelen: "It's a ultra low cost carrier so the key is to be prepared. Make sure you purchase the extras (i.e luggage) before you show up to the airport. Our flight was short and I can only recommend for flights less than two hrs. But it was a very pleasant flight and the staff was about as good as any mainline carrier. We departed on time and arrived early."

Nadelen: "Only after I read the fine line on my e-mail did I find out I had to print a boarding pass. The crew was not friendly or understanding. Woke me up from my sleep. Overall terrible flight."

Voordelen: "From check in to exiting the place, flying with Veuling was a great and very easy experience. We liked that there was more leg and seat space than on most planes and the in-flight magazine is top notch."

Nadelen: "The sub Vueling is impossible to communicate with in anyway. They are totally non responsive. There is no way to get them to respond or contact them. I called Iberia and canceled the flight, and the Iberia agents I spoke with, had no to reach Vueling, although it was an Iberian flight. I did not take the flight and found another means of transportation."

Voordelen: "Comfortable seats! Friendly crew from check-in to exit. Great experience."
Nadelen: "There was no meal service or entertainment so I didn't check those boxes, didn't apply. Short trip."

Nadelen: "Money, chargers, and adapters were stolen from my bag. I will never fly vueling again. The worst airline ever."

Nadelen: "I had the choice on kayak to either buy a curling ticket or a British airways ticket for slightly more. I chose the British airways ticket because BA is a more reputable company and they have better baggage allowance policies. When I got to the check in I found out it was a codeshare. So, why sell me the exact same ticket for a higher price? This is dishonest."

Nadelen: "Pas d'appel des passagers prioritaire lors de l'embarquement. Payer 16€ pour rien ! Merci."

Nadelen: "2 heures de souffrance, mes genoux trop douloureux. Vendre au japonais"

Nadelen: "Bonjour Je n'ai pas du tout aimé les 5 heures de retard au départ de Marseille. J'ai perdu une demi-journée sur mon séjour et aucun dédommagement ne m'a été proposé."

Nadelen: "Depart prévu à 19h30, décollage à 22h : 1 verre d eau offert pour 2h30 d attente sur le tarmac, peu d informations sur l heure de départ ni sur l aéroport d arrivée, mauvaise organisation de la proposition des repas et boissons servis 30 min avant l atterrissage, assis à l arrière de l avion nous n avons pu ni boire ni manger."

Nadelen: "Avec Vueling on n'est jamais surpris. Le vol est en retard, c'est quasi systématique de mon expérience de 4 ou 5 vols récents avec eux. Cabine ultra étroite. Horaires peu pratiques. C'est du low cost quoi"

Voordelen: "I like that I got to Lisbon"
Nadelen: "It took me three hours to book my flight. First, the vueling website was down and I once I got to the payment section of the website, it crashed. Then I tired with customer service, and they could not get my payment to work on their end also. So I had to have my husband try, across the globe, and he was finally was able to book my trip. When I got to the airport in Paris, I was told i don't not purchase a ticket with baggage. Which, was incorrect because, I sat on the phone in Italy BEFORE I EVEN MADE IT TO PARIS TO BOARD MY LISBON FLIGHT, and worked out payment with customer service. Due to the fact that there were six pending flights on my credit card. And to top it all off once I was able to check in at the Paris airport, your customer service staff and ticketing staff there, treated me with such disrespect, condescending attitudes, and would not answer any of my questions but told me it was not their problem and I need to work it out with someone else. I then had to repurchase my bags and when I asked to speak to a manager, the ticketing counter said they did not have one and then directed me to the customer service counter. There I was told that they did not work for the vueling company and my issue could not be handled by them. I will never fly this airline again and will advise everyone I know to do the same."
