Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Nadelen: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

I ran in circles trying to retrieve my phone and I got very poor assistance. I had to be deboarded an boarded again and barely made my flight. I was misinformed several times and ran around the airport with my hand luggage like a chicken without a head. Why wasn’t it brought to my gate? They had my info."

Consequently, we departed IAD almost two hours late, causing us to miss our connection in Copenhagen. Norwegian Air had a flight leaving shortly from Copenhagen to Rome, but the transfer agent told us SAS "does not re-book with Norwegian." Instead we were assigned to two more flights, one to Brussels, and another from Brussels to Rome. We arrived in Rome around 17:00 rather than 10:35 as scheduled, losing a full day of sight-seeing."

Nadelen: "Checkin was a disaster, girl was not aware of anything she was doing and after over ten minutes of explainatiin she still put me and my bags on a wrong flight. Lady at the boarding gate tried to help and finally managed to send me and my bag in the same flight. Even bigger disappointment was that I booked a business class seat and paid three times more money then a normal economy ticket, there wasn't any business class seat and all seats were occupied in the front rows. Staff was generally rude and not willing to help."

Nadelen: "Almost absent crew And almost no service. Made flight with United and with United connection. SAS lost my connection, told ME I canceled my reservation. What a mess that was! I could also not reserve any seats online because flight was partner united flight and neither airline would allow me to choose seats."

Nadelen: "70euro baggage fee at counter check in while flying on SAS. The same fee is 13 Euro if is bag selected at the time of ticket booking. kayak never gave me the option."

I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."

Nadelen: "to realise at the airport that they will charge me 70 EUR for one luggage for one way only is outrageous! it wasnt clear at all that there wasnt luggage included in the price of the ticket... all of my previous tickets bought via kayak and priceline were also with luggage included and we have understood the given price as including luggage! i find it very negative and very bad experience and feel robbed, this is not acceptable business approach. my suggestion is that you will refund me the extra cost for the luggage. thank you."

Nadelen: "90 min waiting in the plane withou ac in IAD 4 hs delay in Copenhagen airport. I missed flight back from Athens because a ferry delay from Santorini despite calling SAS being updated of my delay. When I arrived to Athens airport, SAS staff left and KAYAK was not supportive. My tickets were cancelled from Athens to IAD."

Nadelen: "I wasn't able to take this flight due to my first leg being cancelled. However, I did end up being placed on the SAS flight to Stockholm from Chicago, which was an overall nice flight. The only thing I didn't like was the timing of the flight. Because my starting point was from somewhere other than Chicago, this made for a very long and tiring trip. I wouldn't recommend this flight for people flying from places other than Chicago."

Voordelen: "The plane was well kept and the entertainment system worked well with enough choice. The crew was average: no problems."
Nadelen: "The (transatlantic) flight was delayed 8 hours and the only compensation received was 175DKK for lunch. Had to stay in the airport over 11 hours due to this delay and had already had a 16 hour layover from the day before. I realize that unexpected delays may occur, particularly in cases where passenger safety is in question, but delays of more than 5 hours cause major inconvenience and I felt stuck in the airport with my bags and having checked out of my hotel room already. Just compensating for lunch is not enough. In the future a partial reimbursement for the flight, access to the priority lounge or a more comfortable facility such as a hotel would provide the passengers with compensation proportional to the inconvenience."

Nadelen: "Flight was cancelled 2 minutes after departure time. Staff was rude when we tried asking questions. It took an additional 2 hours to rebook on another airline and we had to spend an extra night in a hotel near the airport."

Flight coming back was cancelled due to technical difficulties, but no problems with rescheduling, LOT rep. was very helpful. No forced charges for checked-in and carry-on bags-BIG differentiator ! used 787 Dreamliner."

Nadelen: "I travel internationally regularly on business. Lot Airlines was hands down the worst airline I have ever flown with. They charged me twice for the same exact tickets and then would not refund me the entire fare. The deducted $300 to process back the credit. Personnel, at both the airport and in flight, were curt, uncommodating and lacked customer service. On my return flight from Warsaw there was a large, disruptive group with a number of unruly children & airline staff did nothing to address the children running across seats, screaming and wreaking havoc for over 8 hours. Passengers could not sleep & the noise was unbearable."

Voordelen: "Seemed good overall. Was delayed a little getting out, but pilot picked up the pace and landed on time. Only issue is the movie selection, mostly year+ old, and only polish tv shows."

Nadelen: "I was forced to check in my hand luggage, but the Amsterdam personnel attached to it a tag without any flight information, so this luggage missed my plane in Warsaw on the connecting flight and arrived later that day as misplaced piece. LOT needs to fix the hand luggage tagging system on connecting flights."

Voordelen: "Nice and soft landing."
Nadelen: "At check in they refused to a small hand bag claiming that only one suitcase per passenger is allowed. The seats are not reclining."

Voordelen: "The staff were great. Very attentive and professional. I wasn't aware that you have to order a vegetarian meal in advance. When I told the gentleman that I needed a vegetarian meal he said there were none available but he did his best to accommodate me with putting together bits and pieces of other meals. He did manage to find a vegetarian meal for me for breakfast."
Nadelen: "I am a vegan. I thought they would have some vegetarian meals for dinner without me having to order them in advance. They should have more options than chicken or beef."

Nadelen: "Long and hot wait in the transfer bus (you have to take a shuttle to the gate."

Voordelen: "courteous and pleasant"

Nadelen: "No one can offer help whether online or onboard"

Voordelen: "Without any note all passengers were required to pay for their baggage, same price either it was 10 or 20 kg. Nobody send any information before about this extra payment!"
Nadelen: "The airport wasn't ready to except foreigners. The personal at customs hardly could communicate in English, always switching to Polish. The custom officer forgot return transfer ticket. So, I had in no time to ask at the check point tofi s my name in the list and give me another tickets. It was very stressful."

Nadelen: "NYC to Warsaw, the flight was 4 hours late no voucher for food. some got it some not. i lost the flight from Warsaw to Bucharest they put me on flight from Warsaw to Vienna that flight was late as well i got to Vienna and i ran to get the flight to Bucharest. i was very tired"

Nadelen: "Barely any covid measures. Brussels airlines uses staggered disembarking. Row per row. Ryanair still does the usual “every man for himself”."

Nadelen: "A kiosk center will be easier for check in at the airport. People would not miss their flight or complain about crowdiness. Paying for a boarding pass in absurd. If a person paid for their flight they should not have to pay for a boading pass. The Ryanair App has technical difficulties"

Voordelen: "Excellent pilots did their job very well, despite bad weather."

Voordelen: "At first. One too we know the flight was delayed about 30 minutes. Then we got the information that the flight doesn’t go the Brussels but Liège. So from Liège we have to finish the travel with a bus 1 hours 30 minutes to arrive at the airport in Brussels. It’s 11:30 so we have to take a taxi 50 euro to the city."
Nadelen: "The worst was with all these problems, Ryanair didn’t offer any drink or food to passengers."

Voordelen: "La ponctualité"
Nadelen: "Que l'on m'a obligée de mettre ma valise cabine en soute"

Nadelen: "D’abord aucun service. Les agents à l’aéroport étaient en grande discussion et riaient ensemble pendant que des dizaines de clients attendaient d’avoir leur aide. Ensuite, des frais d’enregistrement. J’ai voulu m’enregistrer d’avance avec l’application (comme la charmante agente de Ryanair m’a dit de faire), mais l’application ne fonctionnait pas, et le site web mobile m’informait que je devais m’inscrire sur l’application. L’agente a dû se rendre à l’évidence qu’elle devrait m’imprimer mes billets. (Comme n’importe quelle compagnie aérienne autre que Ryanair) Ensuite je lui ai demandé où je pouvais enregistrer mes bagages, et elle m’a dit que je n’avais pas à le faire, que je pouvais me rendre directement à la « gate », comme elle m’a dit. Je lui ai répété à plusieurs reprises que je devais mettre mon bagage en soute, que je ne l’apportait pas avec moi, mais elle me disait que tout était okay. J’ai fait la file durant 45 minutes pour me faire dire que je devais aller enregistrer mon bagage. Quand j’ai expliqué la situation au gardien de sécurité, il m’a simplement dit: « Ah. Vous voyagez avec Ryanair? » Je suis retourné au comptoir de Ryanair, pour faire moi-même le check-in de mon bagage, où j’ai eu la surprise de devoir payer 80 euros supplémentaires pour mon bagage et celui de mon conjoint, soit plus que le prix de nos 2 billets d’avion. Une fois ce montant payé, une agente m’a dit d’aller porter mon bagage ailleurs dans l’aéroport, puisqu’apparemment, nos sacs étaient devenus « over-sized ». En chemin, je demande à une autre agente Ryanair qui me dit que mon bagage doit aller exactement où j’étais. Bref, personnel non professionnel, qualité du service zéro, prix médiocre, confort de l’avion moins mille. Pas d’itinéraire, on ne comprenait rien de ce que les agents de bord disaient, ni les pilotes, pas de goûté. Et dieu sait que je n’ai pas eu le temps de manger avant de prendre ce vol. Qu’on ferme boutique. J’espère que cet avis sera lu et prise au sérieux. Considérez la présente comme la première étape de ma plainte auprès de Ryanair, et de KAYAK. -Catherine Desjardins"

Nadelen: "We were delayed 1 hour on the ground in Dublin. The captain never addressed the passengers and the crew - despite being asked to allow passengers with tight connections to depart first - never allowed this to happen. Insensitive and uncaring. We almost missed a connection that would hav caused us to lose $7000. When the crew was asked to find out if we could make up time in the air they never came back with an answer. Thanks Ryan air - next time take a lesson from Southwest Airlines."

Nadelen: "Ryanair ... Quelle déception ... Voilà 5 jours que je tente en vain de faire le check in de mon vol retour (celui du vol aller ayant été fait en ligne) et que je ne peux pas accéder a la moindre carte d’embarquement. J’arrive donc en avance à El Prat, pour m’entendre dire que je dois régler 55€ en CB afin de pouvoir procéder à l’enregistrement. Une honte. (Sans parler de la charmante dame au check in qui s’est permise de voler mes lunettes de soleil, cadeau d’une famille balinaise auquel je tenais énormément, sur le comptoir, après m’avoir « dérobé » lesdits 55€) Quelle honte, mais quelle honte ..."

Nadelen: "Retard de 4H30 environ, manque d'informations, retardé petit à petit de sorte qu'il est impossible de faire quoi que ce soit d'autre que de traîner dans l'aéroport... Vol prévu à 6H15, à 9H00 (nouvelle heure supposée jusqu'à... 9H00) on nous donne 5 euros de voucher... Je reste avec la même impression que j'ai d'habitude avec cette compagnie : "plus jamais, je n'aime pas être traité comme du bétail" Et puis en général je craque sur les prix évidemment... Des bus (pourris) avec des ailes, ils ne s'en cachent pas..."

Nadelen: "We were charged almost 200 euros extra because we did not check in online (which we could not do because we had been traveling for 30 hours and did not have Wi-Fi in the air) and when we went to check in the receptionist was rude about the fact that we had not checked in, so we had to go across to a different counter to pay our fee, go back to check in at the first counter, and then was told we could not be seated together, when it turned out the flight was half empty. Besides all of this, the planes are not nice, you are only allowed one carry on (no personal item) and the seats are not comfortable. I thought we would save money but check in fees and ridiculous baggage fees made this flight cost more than a nicer airline."

Nadelen: "We had to wait a little on the tarmac with no A/C. Understand they want to save gas but its getting real hot in there..."

Voordelen: "Loved the speed and efficiency of everything; we arrived from Dublin to Gatwick 25 minutes early. Plenty of opportunity for inflight purchases for such a small flight which was great!"

Nadelen: "Important retard au départ, longue attente avant et après l'embarquement. Quasiment tous les bagages cabine envoyés en soute. Très peu d'informations en anglais. Personnel à bord plutôt désagréable"

Voordelen: "Captain had to take emergency action. We didn't know what was going on. It ended up fine, but it was scary without any knowledge"
Nadelen: "Seat size, riding a bus to and from when we had priority booking. Not worth the extra money."

Nadelen: "At SXP there was no separate line for security for those who purchased priority boarding like at many other airports. I almost missed my flight because of the line. I don't honestly think there's a point in buying priority from SXP because it doesn't help here."

Voordelen: "je ne repasserai plus jms par kayak! On me promet que Latam sera la compagnie de basse entre Berlin et Natal et je m aperçois au moment ou le billet arrive sur mon ordinateur, qu il y a plusieurs compagnie dont Ryanair qui facture les bagages et la carte d embarquement. De plus, Kayak s est debrouillé pour que je fasse 4 ecales, d autant plus interessants car ceci rapporte d autant aux compagnies associées! Une honte!"

Voordelen: "Vol direct depuis la province."

Nadelen: "I was informed at the departure gate that my carry-on baggage cannot be brought to the airplane and I was forced to pay 50euro at the last minute for the baggage fee. The ironic part was I have gone through the check-in desk to ask for whether my carry on fits Ryanair standard or not. That was very unprofessional and inconsistent way of handling the issue."
