Nadelen: "I paid for the exit row and did not get it. Originally I paid for 10B and 10C which were on the exit row on the seating chart. They then cancelled my seats so I had to go back online and pick again. They wanted to charge me again so I called BA and got seats 10D and 10E which were also supposed to be exit row seats. They even asked me if my wife and I were physically able to follow flight crew instructions for the exit row. When we boarded we found out 10D and 10E were now the row in front of the exit row which did not recline. After being packed like sardines on the flight from Philly to London I was looking forward to some legroom. It could not have been any worse."

Nadelen: "Almost everything else was poor. There is no long lasting BA class of service anymore. The boarding is mediocre, there is no food or drinks included, you have to pay to pick your seat. Basically a flash version of EasyJet."
Nadelen: "Despite being on board for over 9 hours, we were only provided one meal. The one snack that was also provided was merely a snack size chocolate bar. I have been on plenty of shorter and similar length flighrs that provided a much more reasonable amount of food. This seems to be the result of BA cutting corners on customer service."

Nadelen: "I am handicapped and the jetway was broken. British Airways took a bad situation and made it worse! Obviously they had no contingency plans and the gate agents just wan't to avoid any responsibility and started blaming the poor man who had been wheeling me all over the airport. ONLY BRITISH AIRWAYS WAS AT FAULT FOR THIS. Eventually they put me on a lift several gates away and then loaded me onto the platform lift of one of those catering trucks that deliver food to the planes and drove me to my plane. The plane door was shut and they had to bang on the door to have them open it and let me board. As a result, I personally delayed the flight (officially) 28 minutes; in reality about 40 minutes. This was one of the most embarrassing and humiliating experiences of my life; to be loaded on a plane like freight!! Is this how British Airways operates??"

Plane was almost empty, I’m 6’4 and asked mid flight to move to exit row because my knees was pressing into the forward seat. 1 person out of 6 seats were in the exit row and the gentleman attendant denied my request. I didn’t flinch about my full day of delays and connection issues but on an empty flight it would have been nice to catch a break. I landed in Pittsburgh at 12:30 at night and got to my hotel at 1:30am with an 8 am presentation. AA delays really have created a discontent with my business trips. As I use AA as my primary airline I hope this doesn’t continue or I’ll switch to United for future business trips monthly."

They would not even refund the upgrades I paid for. 100% sure they were able to resell the seats on the original flight. On top of that had to pay a $100 heavy baggage fee for a pound over weight. Will never fly American Airlines again."

Flight was delayed, which is more common than I'd like They're stuffing planes fuller and fuller while offering fewer and fewer amenities at an ever-increasing price with multiple additional costs"

Why did they put someone one the flight that was clearly sick before he ever boarded then you make everyone miss their connection in Dallas. We got to the gate for our connecting flight 9 minutes before the pushed back from the ramp and they would not let us on??? WTF poor customer service!! Fly southwest from now on!"

Nadelen: "AA canceled my flight my kids who live 4 hours away from San Diego drove that distance to pick me up yesterday, we got a hotel room for the canceled flight but they ended up paying $200 for the night. AA did not let us know thr flight was canceled until late last night."
Nadelen: "The customer service from AA representitives in the airport was completely unnacceptable and the absolute worst service I have recieved in an airport to date! One incident during this trip was as follows: When arriving in Charlotte and running to catch my connecting flight, I arrived as the lady at the desk was closing the door, she looked at me and rolled her eyes. When I went up to the desk along with the other passengers arriving from the same flight as me the AA representative said "Hurry up , I want to go home!! At a point I'm just going to cut you off and that will be it!" She was of no help to me in anyway amd was forced tonstay the night in charlotte ; Normally this would not have been such a big deal, However I am on emergency leave from the Navy rushing home because I have a very serious family emergency, that representitive was very lucky I held my temper! From now on thanks to the poor unproffessional customer service I received I will no longer be flying American Airlines!"

Nadelen: "We went to the gate early and it was printed on our boarding passes. We left to get some food and came back and tried to board. The gate agent was incredibly rude and sarcastic about telling us that the gate had been changed. They also tried to sell us 3 upgrades when we were trying to get our boarding passes."

Nadelen: "Snacks should at least be offered I came prepared but young children and teens tend to get hangry ... maybe more options for drinks as that’s all we get served?"
Voordelen: "The customer service phone number was impossible to get through on in order to take to someone within 24 hours of my flight in order to make my Special Meals request as I have Celiac's Disease. I was unable to make this selection at booking as when you book through a third party like Expedia, which I did, you cannot access the same internal tools required to make that selection. You can ONLY then call once you have checked in before the flight in order to let the airline know of your Special Meal needs. This is not only a terrible policy as it undercuts those who ARE ultimately still buying tickets to their airline, and that the airline is CHOOSING to sell. It provided me with an extremely subpar experience of the airline but left up to the last minute with doubts about my ability to board a 13 he international flight without the reassurance that I would have ANY meals aboard and no other options should that be the case. Right before my flight departed I was reassured that the information we had requested Expedia relay to the airline internally the day before, who we called when we couldn't get through to the airline, WAS able to convey this Special Meal request and I was going to have food on the flight, so I then did not purchase a bunch of snacks in the airport to have as options. The first meal in, no Special Meal was provided and I had to explain then entire situation all over again. They assured me they would figure it out and get me taken care of. However, no one who assisted me conveyed this to anyone else on the flight and every time food was dispersed, same situation. This was stressful and exhausting and the options provided me were modified to be gluten free, such as an entire plate of fruit for my snack, instead of the protein heavy snack everyone else received, because there truly wasn't extra for that type of dietary restriction. This was stressful and I was very hungry on the flight. One of the attendants got me a few chunks of cheese from first class, but otherwise, it wasn't great. I would advise travelers with Special Meal requests NOT to fly with AirCanada."

Nadelen: "Due to the checked baggage fee, everyone brings massive, heavy carry ons that clearly are oversized and then overhead bins get full fast. I don't understand why airlines don't check people's carry on luggage for size and weight."

Voordelen: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Nadelen: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."

Nadelen: "Signed up for txt notifications, but not informed of flight dep delays; told repeatedly of 'full flights at del gate but not the case, lots of empty seats; delayed again on arrival, waiting for 'assigned' berthing to open up, which was assigned to another plane; had to walk 'miles' to get to security once inside terminal - why doesn't AirCanada get decent treatment in assigned berthing at Pearson, especially after midnight when there must be hardly any flights arriving..."
Voordelen: "Crew was very friendly."
Nadelen: "Having to pay for baggage on an international flight and no better snacks available without purchasing them."

Voordelen: "The end of the trip and delivery of luggage 24 hours after arriving in Vienna"
Nadelen: "Old and partly broken plane, horrible food. 2 officials to immigrate hundreds of people at Brussels. Breakdown of luggage system in Brussels. No luggage at arrival in Vienna."
Voordelen: "The crew was very attentive, always offering water and anything else we needed. The captain was very good about warning us about turbulence. Boarding the plane was quick and efficient."
Nadelen: "I felt the aircraft could have been cleaned more thoroughly. It's disheartening when your seat/area isn't clean and you're stuck there for 13 hours."
Voordelen: "Crew was very good."
Nadelen: "In-flight video (via app) was slow and unreliable. Seat comfort was lacking."

Nadelen: "A bit long for baggage loading especially we arrived in almost midnight"

Nadelen: "Very rude staff, would not do anything I asked and responded with attitude"

Nadelen: "AC employees gave us contradictory and wrong information about clearing Canadian Customs in Vancouver, so we were unable to get through all the arrival and transfer procedures and had to go on without our luggage. Our delayed baggage was delivered to us 2 days after our arrival. Probably there was not enough time allowed for our connection in Vancouver (about 90 minutes). We were going from Japan to the US via Canada."
Voordelen: "I don't like air canada"
Nadelen: "Check in crew was rude and awful. Flight cancelled without notification, thankfully the minute we noticed I called customer service. Waited an hour on hold before luckily grabbing 2 last seats on a flight going out the next morning."
Voordelen: "I liked my seatmates on the flights."
Nadelen: "I didn't like that we only get one drink and no snacks."
Nadelen: "Everything costs extra: picking seats, pillows, blankets, no Economy Plus for Star Alliance elites, any food, etc."
Voordelen: "It is hard to like a trip when t h email outbound flight is delayed by 3 hours. Why didn't SC text us to let us know before we left for the airport. I had to find out from flight aware. It still is an insult that we have to pay for even the 1st bag placed in the hold. Also resented having to pay for soft drinks. Almost all the passengers refused the 2nd attempt by crew to offer paid soft drinks."
Nadelen: "The tv in business class weren't really working... stopping the movies by it self and I had to always restart them until I gave up on watching a movie!"
Voordelen: "I thought prices were reasonable."
Nadelen: "Didn't have some of the food."
Voordelen: "Alles goed"
Voordelen: "Good leg space very comfortable sitting and entertainment television."
Voordelen: "air canada quickly changed me to another flight when mine was delayed but I had to ask for that, they did not offer."
Nadelen: "delay was long and I wasn't offered a switch to another flight. had to ask myself for it."
Nadelen: "The flight was very cold, even though everyone in my row had their air vents closed."
Nadelen: "We had to purchase food ."
Voordelen: "The flight went basically smoothly and we arrived on time."
Nadelen: "On our flight from Toronto to Barbados a flight attendant named Miranda was so incredibly rude. She was not helpful and would not even styamptt o smile. I could not believe how she treated the passengers. Our airplane was dirty and on both flights I found food in the pouch on the pack of the seat in front of me. There was no food served and when I asked for a hot tea when the beverage cart came around miranda gave me cold water. Not impressed st all."
Voordelen: "Very accommodating with the seating, flights on time"
Voordelen: "It was not a full flight, and I was able to get up and move to an empty row and stretch out. The crew on this trip were AWESOME!!!!! All very nice and helpful."
Nadelen: "One one if the kegs from Barcelona and return (through Montreal) there were no individual movies/ music available unless you purchased an IPad rental for $10. If they don't have entertainmentvon in the seat ahead a longer flight they should not charge for a device to watch it!!"
Nadelen: "I was in the middle seat, and the man on my right elbowed me and did not give me room. But the worst thing, besides the awful food, was that my suitcase did not arrive! I hope it arrives today."
Nadelen: "The customer rep at the gate checked my bag but didn't attach my name to it, so they lost my bag. Flight attendants did not want to serve any coffee for some reason. Flight from TO to Hfx delayed twice; once d/t no plane available, then the ground crew left so no one to close the plane door from the outside. Had a maintenance issue so sat on the tarmac for way too long. My bag was found & I was told I would receive it the next morning.... NOT!!!"
Nadelen: "Food could be better"
Voordelen: "Movies were good. Landing was good."
Nadelen: "Ventilation was not great. And the Wrap was awful."
Voordelen: "A nice short flight: there isn't much to say here, but the flight was smooth."
Nadelen: "The crewman seemed somewhat pushy. Perhaps a recalcitrant passenger put him in a bad mood."
Nadelen: "The flight was smooth and the crew was excellent. They ran out of food so there was very little to choose from to eat."
Voordelen: "Comfortable seats, great complimentary entertainment."

Voordelen: "As a 6'5" guy, I was worried about spending ten hours on a plane. Air Canada made the flight enjoyable with comfortable seats (even in the economy class) and high quality flight attendants."
Voordelen: "Captain kept the interested customers informed of how the Toronto Raptors game was progressing. Friendly crew. Upgraded to an economy premium rouge seat and was very comfortable."
Nadelen: "Checked in online but wasn't able to pay for luggage fee. Tried at Kiosk at Barbados airport and was directed to counter service which was a very long line. Selection of TV shows on AC app could be more current."
