Voordelen: "The crew was fine. The seats in the A330 are the worst only to be made worse by NO legroom. Very uncomfortable airplane. The flight crew also closes the rear bathroom off during most of the flight, I am assuming so they can use...."

Nadelen: "The flight was over 2 hours late leaving Copenhagen, and then we sat at the gate while they unloaded bags to find the luggage of some passengers who decided not to be on that flight. Then it was total chaos at O'Hare. Very few SAS ticket agents who were not prepared to deal with the many passengers who had missed connections. We spent the night on hard chairs in the airport when we could have been re-booked on a flight out that night if they had been at all organized and efficient."

Nadelen: "I had requested an aisle seat and on both flights to and from Stockholm and Chicago had to sit on the very last row in the middle seat between 2 people who seemed to exceed the "weight allowance" that seem so important now when you flight unless you spend a lot a money on the ticket and it then becomes irrelevant !!"

Nadelen: "Space is always going to be something I don't like. Meanwhile most of the plane in 1st class sits wide open. Expand business class."

Nadelen: "since all tickets and passports are checked in advance and do not need to be scanned again when boarding, they really should start boarding from the back of the aircraft (after all the business, first-class, and priority folks) because it would really speed things up the main meal was good, but the snack was much smaller compared to my flight from Chicago to Stockholm"

Nadelen: "Got delayed 13-hours in an airport with no SAS staff present to communicate anything to all of the passengers. We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. SAS did not cancel the flight after the first 4-hours of delay which is illegal by EU Standards. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."

Nadelen: "SAS does not even offer wine with the meal, you have to pay for it. Additionally they have the strange policy that they give drinks at frost, that is ALL drinks, including the meal drinks, and then comes the meal about half an hour later. The do not offer ANY drinks with the meal."

Voordelen: "One of the best we've experienced--very comfortable very spacious seats , The crew is very attentive and accommodating. We were fed three times and was offered beverages frequently."

Nadelen: "I did NOT like the fact that this was NOT true in Copenhagen. I checked my mobility scooter at the plane door, they put it underneath, but was met by a man who said he was going to take me to pick up the scooter (in the baggage claims area--after I was promised in Chicago that it would be at the plane door when I arrived in Copenhagen). Made me get in an enlarged golf cart, and took me to the "transfer area" -- where I had to get into a wheel chair -- for the rest of the journey to the baggage claim area. Then he stood there waiting for a tip that was to NEVER come!"

Voordelen: "Entertainment system is very good - like 100 movies on demand even games available."
Nadelen: "Economy seats had little leg room; weren't offered a choice of entrees Make sure you call ahead if you need vegetarian meals."

Voordelen: "Your entertainment and SAS TV as well as landscape camera were great. Your pilots did a great job with getting us home extra fast inspire of boarding delay. I liked the crew a little more on tbd way to Sweden than on the way to Chicaho"

Kayaks information that links To Iceland air shows economy as including one free bag. Ours was Econ light which was $100 per bag"

Nadelen: "Boarding was horrible, took 30 minutes each time to get on and off the plane... waited in multiple queues at gate, at door, then in the jet bridge. Woke up to flight attendant grabbing my menu from my seat pocket, then shoving it back without warning even though my personal items were in there..."

Nadelen: "Boarding at the airport was a nightmare. There were many other flights boarding at the same time and the lines were mixing together and everyone was confused."

Nadelen: "Booked nonstop flights, Icelandair cancelled the flight and booked us with long layovers because our nonstop flight wasn’t filled. No compensation was given despite spending much more time and money than expected. Won’t fly with them again after this experience."

Nadelen: "I had to wait almost one hour at check in. The person in charge said there were "issues" with my visa. She allowed me to board to Reykjavik and said the issues would be solved as I flew. I had to check in again at Reykjavik. There was no "issue" with my visa and I was received normally at my destination. Comfort level on business class was sub-par and options on entertainment center very limited."

Voordelen: "I had sprained my ankle the day before my flights, and the crew were all very nice and accommodating for me."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that when I booked my flight, I was misled to believe that my checked baggage was included. The message said that "cabin baggage was included", but since when is cabin baggage NOT included?? I was surprised to find out when I was checking in that I had to pay an extra 50 Euros to check my luggage in, which I was really not happy about since the flight itself was already so expensive."

Nadelen: "The check-in process was horrible. It took over an hour to drop off our bags and get a boarding pass."

Voordelen: "We saw Greenland from the plane with the glacier, very nice! Comfortable plane!"

Nadelen: "Swissport personnel in Europe were awful. Bags were delayed in Amsterdam for over an hour after landing. Check in at Brussels was also an hour long queue. Boarding in the terminal in Iceland was very disorganized."

Nadelen: "The connection times are just too short. An hour works fine when there are no delays, but we landed for our connecting flight 10 minutes before departure both times and had to run through the airport and customs."

Nadelen: "I preordered and prepaid for meals, but on this flight I had to go ask for my meal."

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."

Nadelen: "When you book a flight on Icelandair through Kayak, Kayak doesn’t tell you weather you’ve booked a ‘Economy light’ or an ‘Economy standard’ or ‘Economy premium’ ticket, it just says Economy. Icelandair offers a free checked bag for Economy standard and everything above, but not for light. We assumed we had standard because Kayak just said ‘Economy’ and found out later we had to pay for an expensive checked bag. Very disappointed in Kayak’s lack of communication and misrepresentation of the ticket we were booking."

Nadelen: "flight was delayed an hour, another hour to get luggage... main problem, however, was that once i was at FRA airport, the added a $105 surcharge on my luggage because supposedly it was an "economy light" ticket that doesn't allow checked luggage. It wasn't on the way over and it doesn't say anywhere on the ticket. To make things worse, none of the people at the counter were actually Iceland Air employee, so noone was able or willing to tell me anything about this (quote from employee "everything I tell you will be used against me" not sure if she was flippant or scared) Anyway, watch out for them screwing you over where they can"

Voordelen: "I checked in online as early as possible and was able to change my seat from the back of the plane to Economy comfort without any additional cost. Ended up in the front of the plane with lots of legroom and a comfortable seat. First round of drinks they provided the whole can of soda, almost unheard of on flights anymore."
Nadelen: "Boarding process was a cattle call. No boarding by back of the plane to the front or any organization, just a mass convergence on the boarding gate. If you're going to offer food on the plane for sale, at least take cash for the purchase. The only way you could buy food was to use plastic. Not a great selection of movies on the entertainment line up. The screens and volume control were quite decent, just not a large selection to choose from"

Voordelen: "This was our first flight with Iceland Air and we kind of looked forward to it. On the way oversease we were immediately rebooked onto Swiss Air, before arriving at the airport, because Iceland Air had a delay and knew we would miss our connecting flight to Germany. We were very impressed by this and very happy with Swiss Air, also. On the way back we liked the roomier plane and the relative punctuality of the flights. Our luggage arrived fine and quickly at the end destination, despite the short layover, which often leads to lost luggage."
Nadelen: "Our biggest complaint is that Iceland Air does not offer meals as part of your ticket on its flights. They expect you to upgrade (and pay) for 'economy comfort' in order to get the meals and seating included in most other regular economy tickets. I don't think that being on a 6.5 hour flight (and a 3.5 hour flight immediately before without chance of making puchases at the airport in between, due to their delay) without a meal being included in your ticket is acceptable practice. They had a meny from which you could purchase food, things like baguette with ham/cheese, salad, oatmeal, instant noodles etc. But the prices for these cheap cafeteria options were insane. From the cheapest ($7 for a small instant oatmeal) to $16-$20 for a salad or small main course you would have to spend an additional 25-35$ per meal per person to get the usual airplane meal that all other airlines I know of include (2 per overseas flight). We did go hungry, eat candy, bought one little oatmeal and pretty much will avoid Iceland Air for that reason in the future. We thought it was outreageous to be asked to spend this amount of money or go without food for over 9 hours."

Voordelen: "The seats were roomy and comfortable, there was legroom. The plane did not feel overstuffed even though it was a packed flight. I also liked how they gave messages on the monitors. Someone got sick on the flight and the crew was very professional about the whole mess."
Nadelen: "Boarding was a mess ...not enough room for people to line up. Unclear if you were in the correct line for the flight you needed. More food selections for sale would have been nice, especially fruit and veggies but the sandwich they offered was very good. One crew member was just plain snippy...maybe having a bad day b/c all the others were great!"

The seat did not decline, the screen of the monitor was cracked, the bathrooms were disaster zones, there was literary nothing on the entertainment program. The passengers were nice though!"

Voordelen: "Unexpectedly our luggage was still dispatched on time to our final destination dispite the delay and short time in Warsaw airport."
Nadelen: "The absence of clear communication on the duration of the delay or its reason and this despite the fact all passengers had been boarded on time."

Nadelen: "Extremely cramped seats, late and almost didn't make connection, buses back and forth the whole way, jerky drivers."

Voordelen: "Overall very good - no complaints. LOT is comparable with Lufthansa and KLM (the airlines I have most experience with) in terms of service and space. Boarding in Warsaw was chaotic - no announcements it just sort of started, I was in Zone 3 but there were only lines for Zones 1 and 2. The usual Central European pushing into the line. Flight was nice, smooth and good service. Leg room is limited but that is to be expected on any airline and flight. Would fly LOT again happily. On time, Captain made regular announcements. I arrived safely, as did my luggage. Can't wait for the direct service between Chicago and Budapest."

Voordelen: "Both flights I was on were somewhat empty, so I had an open seat next to me. Despite some delays taking off, the arrival was early. Good entertainment selection; personal TV screens and free headphones."

Nadelen: "When I handed over my boarding pass, I was told I had to walk seven gates away for an "extra security check." I am 71 years old and don't run well. I only object to the fact that they did not have the security check available at the boarding gate - or they might have called my name and sent me over there well before beginning boarding. They did assure me they would wait for me but I was the antepenultimate person to board the plane and quite upset by the whole thing."

Nadelen: "My seat did not recline and due to the number of passangers, no attempt to change my seating was made."

Voordelen: "Nice new plane. Desert was some sort of raspberry cheesecake which was great."

Nadelen: "The airport wasn't ready to except foreigners. The personal at customs hardly could communicate in English, always switching to Polish. The custom officer forgot return transfer ticket. So, I had in no time to ask at the check point tofi s my name in the list and give me another tickets. It was very stressful."

Nadelen: "We were late boarding, and then once we were boarded we waited for an hour for a late connecting flight."

Voordelen: "Very timely and organized."
Nadelen: "We did have to sit on the tarmac for about 1/2 hour upon arrival in Chicago."

Nadelen: "I fly 35 years at least 2 times a year to different companies. For the first time in the life of the company flew Lot (and the last) and was unpleasantly surprised: 1. The stewardesses did not hide their antipathy towards the native speakers of English and Russian (they were scornful and rude), although they were friendly and attentive to the passengers speaking Polish, 2. The food is tasteless and small (I have ordinary needs)."

Voordelen: "I traveled on this airline few years ago, and there was always room for improvement. This trip was a very pleasant surprise. Departures and arrivals were on time, excellent service, good entertainment aboard, and what a great, comfortable airplane (Dreamliner B 787)."

Nadelen: "Packed in a sardine can for 9 hours is not fun. Being bussed out to a remote location for a wide bodied plane is crazy. At least at ORD we had a gate."

Took away headphones that I had stowed aside for a later time while taking a nap and gave it to another passenger - on a long haul business class flight. Poor service culture. Outbound flight was terrible. Six hour delay. No apologies. Rude telephone staff."

Nadelen: "My family wasn't given a choice on the meal they were given which was hard because most of them don't eat fish (it was codfish). One of the flights was delayed 2 hrs & then didn't take off for 40 mins after the two hours because boarding wasn't started til 10 mins before it was scheduled to takeoff"

Nadelen: "They served fish on board, and the odor stuck around for awhile."

Nadelen: "It took a long time to board the plane and there was literally no line at the boarding gate. When I mean there was no line, its not that there were no people, its that we stood grouped together, because there was not enough space for everyone, so no line could form. So people simply cut in front of each other and there was quite a bit of anger and tension.Once we were on board, and seated, they came through and provided a meal. However after about 3 hours, I wanted to get some water to take medicine and I pushed the call light to get the flight attendant to come over and it was literally 45 minutes before anyone came into the economy portion. All of the flight attendants were either in first class, or hiding somewhere else. As one point 5 call lights were on and no one came. My wife got up and started looking for someone and finally I got water to take my pills. Almost an hour after I hit the call button. When the flight attendant came, I asked her if it was possible to purchase a soda, crackers, or anything as my blood sugar was low. She said there is nothing available for purchase, and did not offer anything. The only help I received was from a fellow passenger who offered a candy bar. I can not believe that there was nothing the attendant could offer me. I was willing to pay 10 euros for a soda, and they still said no. That is unacceptable."

Despite this, the gates closed on us while we were running to the gate. TAP sold us a service they could not provide."

Nadelen: "I use Air PORTUGAL twice a year. I can’t understand why they took our three trolley to put them in the baggage hold while they have enough space inside the plane. I would like to tell you that food is always awful in TAP AIR PORTUGAL flying from Dakar/Lisboa/Dakar. No respect for the passengers."

Pouvez-vous vérifier et a l avenir être plus clair sur nos droits ou non aux bagages en soute ainsi que le prix du bagage sur votre site si vous le proposer et le prix au guichet . Cela augmente significativement le prix du billet donc mérite de nous informer clairement et complètement. Merci de votre compréhension et de votre réponse."

Nadelen: "Les agents tap de l’aeroport de Dakar m’ont fait manquer mon vol par non assistance et désinformation totale. Ils n’ont aucun professionnalisme et limite ils t’insultent. Je suis sénégalaise mais je suis très déçue du comportement des agents à l’aéroport de Dakar. La plus grosse déception de ma vie"

Nadelen: "Impossible to use a laptop for a 1m80 big guyin the middle seat: seats are soooo narrow"

Nadelen: "We travelled with 2 carry ones and one checked bag throughout our 2.5 week honeymoon. Check in agent suggested that we check all 3 of our bags since the flight was full. We did. The flight from BCN to LIS was delayed 2 hours at the gate, but we were told we could somehow still catch our flight from LIS to PDL. We trusted that was true. We arrived at LIS without a single garment of clothing (we checked all 3 bags through to PDL), and then realized we missed the flight to PDL. We stood in line for 3 HOURS at the TAP help desk, only to wait behind a group of very angry people who monopolized the staff. Once we told the agent our situation, he told us there were no more seats on any flight to PDL the next morning. Not only that, but he could not provide a hotel for us to spend the night. This is 2:30am, 3:30am BCN time. He told us to find our own hotel, but we do not have international phone plans, so we could not make the reservation ourselves. He had nowhere for us to sleep. Then he had us wait for his SATA associate to help us, and he put us on a flight to PDL the next day, but it was not direct! We had plans for the following day, a hotel reservation in Ponta Delgada that is NOT refundable, and now the final portion of our honeymoon is ruined. No one ever offered to give us vouchers for ANY costs or for the anxiety and total of 14 hours lost on the most important trip of our lives. Shameful."

Got a ticket with seats “free of charge” on the printed e-ticket, but had to pay for them at checkin. It seems to be a scam... There would be more, but i lost my patience with TAP."
