How can you have a complimentary lounge for people missing their flight but not allow people in. I guess because we were only economy. When asked could we pay for an upgrade to business class, the attendant responded with "oh, its expensive" I didn't ask how much, I asked if we could. I never felt so insulted. The food was terrible. By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

Nadelen: "When I checked my two bags, I was told to pick them up in Doha and recheck them to my final destination at Rwanda. When I arrived in Doha I was told by the transfer desk that I did not need to pick up my bags because they had been checked to my final destination. I even asked them to pull up my flight information and to confirm that, which they did. However, when I arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, my bags were no where to be found. No one has found them yet. I also called Qatar Air before my flight and asked about hotel accommodations for my layover because my layover was from 6:00 pm to 7 am. When I called, I was told that I would be given a complimentary hotel room because of the length of the layover. However, when I arrived I was told that I did not qualify for the hotel accommodation. Then, I was told that a hotel room would cost 250. When i arrived at the hotel, I was told the cheapest was 325."

Nadelen: "The airport did not have air conditioning, which was very annoying given the temperature outside was 30C."

Nadelen: "Check in crew in Lahore ganged up against me and wanted to extort £200 for taking me laptop on board along with my hand carry. No where in the world has an airline ever asked me for this, and I fly a fair bit. Since I didn't allow them to extort me, they forced me to throw away my brand new Delsey hand carry at the airport. I had no cover as they threatened to if load my luggage and not let me fly home. Not a 5 start airline from any angle. Will never use Qatar again!!! This was my first and last flight with them."

Nadelen: "Food is not up to the standard. They make announcements that there will be snacks like sandwiches and ice creams, but they don't offer that openly. You have to ask for snacks. Now we, US citizens don't like to ask for food just so you know. The crew should offer. if we don't need the food, we can always say no."

Nadelen: "I never made it to the Yerevan to Doha flight, because Qatar Airways did not get me to my destination in time. They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."

Nadelen: "Paid $330.00 +/- for a one way ticket. Some how i messed up on the date and had it for 8/3/18 instead of 8/2/18. Had to pay an additional $500 + for the change. I understand that the fault didn't lie with AA, however, the rate for changing the ticket borders on the ridiculous. I have to travel quite a bit as of late for work, I am doing all i can to Avoid using American. There were others on the flight that paid for first class that didn't pay as much as me and i was stuck in boarding group 6. It really feels as though American is only in it for the dollars, not the customer service."

Nadelen: "The long delays, the cancellation near midnight, the long lines to what I thought was going to be some type of reimbursement for all the inconvenience at now having to find lodging for the evening, spend an entire day back at the airport, and transport myself from the NEW airport they made available for me from the original airport I had chosen. Absolutely NO compensation or reimbursement due to "weather." While I understand they can't control the weather, this is literally one of the greatest elements in their company. They should have provisions FOR it. Running out of airlines I could trust and rely on, and thought American would deliver. But No, not even this one. Extremely disappointed and staying away from AA."

Nadelen: "I booked the flight originally through british airways and expected your standard, modern plane for cross atlantic travel. Boarding to find myself on a 767 designed (and likely built) in the 80s was rather disappointing."

We had booked our tickets separately and we're attempting to get a seat together it took a very long time for the person to say no to us but he said he was helping us and then did that reprinting the same seats we had. Nadelen: "We boarded the plane late. We waited 25-30 mins to take off due to a light fixture that was broken. No air condition and a plane full of people in 100 plus degree weather. Finally get to take off, and there's a other 10-15 min wait. Finally land and there's another wait for our gate which was supposed to be 8 mins turned into 15 mins. Needless to say I was 45 mins late for my appointment."

Voordelen: "I didn’t like a thing! I cancel that flight a month ago, you said your were going to pay me back but I haven’t receive my fund. I have been back in America for month. Everyday I call nobody pick the phone or I’ll be on hold for hours until I hangup"

Nadelen: "The flight was not with Lufthansa, that was deception. UA the worst airline as far as I experienced it, delays, poor customer relationships and so on. I have to pay for luggage."

Nadelen: "My legs are short and the seat seemed a little higher than other plans. I couldn't rest my feet flat on the floor for 6 1/2 hours. This was very uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "We booked our flights round trip on united.com, but when we arrived at the airport for our return flight from Budapest to D.C., we were told we were on standby and might not be given seats (despite paying full price for the fare months ago). Brussels Airlines, the codeshare partner, blamed United. United blamed Brussels airlines. We are the flight, but my wife and I were seated separately. When I noticed several seats empty after the plane had finished boarding and asked the head flight attendant if my wife and I might not together, she refused, saying they weren't going to give us a free upgrade. When we went to drop off our bags for the next leg of the flight, from Brussels to Dulles, the bag check counters we're severely understaffed and we waited almost an hour just to drop off two suitcases. This made us nearly miss our flight and required us to sprint through the airport and beg to cut the security line. After boarding, my entertainment screen stopped working, though they did manage to fix it a couple of hours into the flight. Needless to say, this was less then a stellar experience."

Nadelen: "I was unable to pre-order a kosher meal through the web site. Customer service could barely write in legible English and in essence told me to take a hike. Flight was bumpy both ways for quite a while. What's the point of giving me a boarding pass in Tel Aviv if I need to go to the United transfer counter in Brussels and go through the process again, including a TSA (friendly) interrogation?"

Voordelen: "We were upgraded to business class. Everything was excellent! Seats were extremely comfortable. Flight attendants took great care of us!"

Nadelen: "Even though I have an account with United, and confirmed that I was a vegetarian both online, and on the flight heading to Europe, my meal wasn't entered. It worked out really well because I was sitting close to the front and they had pasta dishes available, but this is not the first time that United and its partners have "lost" or "mishandled" my vegetarian registration. The flight attendant even remarked that sadly, she hears this 'complaint' constantly. The food was good, but there's no reason that my meal request can't stay in the system."

Nadelen: "Sat on the runway for over an hour with no explanation or timeline"

Voordelen: "Professional, courteous flight crew. Uneventful flight. When flying at 37000 feet over an ocean, uneventful is a very good thing! :) Deboarding on arrival was quick and efficient."
Nadelen: "My headphone jack in the seat was broken but they offered to relocate me to a seat that worked. I stayed put and used the United app on my phone."

Nadelen: "When I landed in San Francisco, my ticket did not have a gate number on it. My layover was only 55 minutes long so I knew I needed to get straight to my gate. I looked at the screen of departures. The screen said Eugene was at gate 72. I rushed to gate 72 to find that on display screen for gate 72, it said boarding for passengers to Orange County. I then walked to information. The gentleman at information wrote down that my gate was gate 67. I hurried to gate 67 (with only 15 minutes until boarding for my flight began). At gate 67 I asked a United Airlines worker if I was at the correct gate. He said no, my gate was 72. I explained to him I was just there. He was very rude and said if I did not want to believe him, that's fine. I said no, I believe you, I just want to be certain I am going to the correct place as I should be boarding very soon. I started running back to gate 72. On my way I stopped at the United Airlines customer service desk and encountered yet another rude United Airlines associate named Irada. She told me I needed to wait my turn in line and could not help me, even though I needed to be boarding soon. I ran back to gate 72 and the board said Eugene. I asked a pilot who was sitting down on break about the reasoning behind the boards and he helped me. A pilot whose job is not at all in customer service was the one who helped while those with the job in customer service were rude. I was very exhausted and upset with the confusion and noone willing to help. I do not believe I will be flying with United anymore if associates who are supposed to be helpful are not."

Nadelen: "Mechanical delay in fargo caused me to miss my connecting flight to Eugene by 5 minutes. Got to Denver airport asked the gate guy to call my connecting flight gate to see if they could hold the door for me, he said you got 10 mins go. I ran 30 gates and the door just closed and missed my flight. I am 25 weeks preg so my running time is slower then normal. Then they rebooked me on a flight that had an additional connect and arrived 4 hours later then expected. By the time I got to my new flight gate- it was delayed so would miss my next connecting flight. Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. It has been an unsuccessful flight. Almost cancelled and went home......"

Nadelen: "There were always lines for the toilets. Limited leg room. Food was meh."
