Sur ce vol l'organisation de l'embarquement est à revoir car très mal gérée. Rien à dire sur le personnel et le service. En revanche sur le vol aller (D265 le 8 août), 4 heures de retard sur l'horaire prévu à Roissy au final avec un changement de porte de dernière minute, très mauvaise gestion qui a impacté notre arrivée et la suite du voyage.

Une famille de 4 personnes et nous n’avons pas été assis dans la même partie de l’avion…

A part l'embarquement pas vraiment un peu chaotique tout fût parfait.

Un petit problème, mais pas forcément dû à Delta, est que nous avons eu 3 changements de porte. Sinon tout était bien.

Nous étions en surbooking et avons attendre le dernier moment pour savoir que nous pouvions partir.... Et l'avion a eu 4h de retard... Mais nous sommes arrivés

Les repas n’étaient pas très bons

Nous avons fait la queue pour l’embarquement pendant de longues minutes. Au moment de passer, on nous dit que nos passeports doivent être vérifiés. Obligation de suivre une autre queue. L’hôtesse nous demande notre test Covid alors qu’il n’y en n’a pas besoin pour revenir en France. Une fois les passeports vérifiés, on nous demande de retourner à la fin de la première queue…donc très long !

Le repas était léger, avec des légumes mal cuits, une purée trop salée et un morceau de poulet mauvais. Au petit déjeuner, sandwich au fromage 😒

Checkin via l’appli impossible

Notre vol a été annulé, puis l’autre retardé ainsi nous avons loupé notre correspondance. Ensuite nous n’avons pas eu notre valise à l’arrivée

Des casques anti bruits pourraient être transmis si les conditions de voyage deviennent difficiles : les pleurs et les cris d’enfants durant tout le trajet et ce quasi sans interruption ont rendus le vol très désagréable . Vol choisi à l’initial car etant un vol de nuit et cela permettait d’avoir un peu de calme. Le personnel était sympathique et avait des bases en français ce qui était agréable. Ce qui n’était pas réellement le cas pour le vol aller . En vous remerciant,

Je suis un Franco Americain de 63 ans residant aux US depuis 38+ ans. Apparement mon retour vers Miami a ete booké sans baggage !!!??? De toute evidence une grossiere et innacceptable erreur !!! Comment puis rentrer chez moi sans bagagge ??? Imaginez ma surprise quand Air France m'a informé au "checkin" que mon billet de retOur n'incluait pas un baggage et a refusé de me laisser embarquer avec ma valise de 21 kilos si je ne payais pas un " suplement de €60. A €960+ ce billet ne qualifie pas particulierement de billet "discount"!!!??? Pour compliquer les choses encore un peu plus suite a un traumatisant vol de picpokets dans le metro parisien qq jours avant mon retour je n'avais plus de carte bancaire. Depuis presque 40 ans de voyages entre mes 2 pays je n'ai jamais eu une experience plus desagreable et humiliante dans un aeroport. De retour en Floride a la maison je suis stressé triste humilié et terriblement deçu par ce dernier jour dans ma ville lumiere de naissance.

Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Would have been a lot better if they boarded by seat numbers. Also they made me check in my fairly small and light carry on bag resulting in its contents arriving broken!"

Nadelen: "I’ve traveled a lot internationally and this was the WORST flight I’ve ever had to endure. I felt like I was being tortured and didn’t sleep at all and so slept when getting into Amsterdam rather than being able to explore the city. I was out $200 for the Airbnb (could’ve stayed in the airport cheaper) and $200 for a dinner cruise I slept through. NEVER AGAIN"

I finally emailed vayamas/kayak to cancel and 5 days later received a reply that there was no cancellation refund. Apparently Kayak provides a no communication/no refund policy. My travel companion had the opposite experience with Expedia."

Nadelen: "I had to wait almost one hour at check in. The person in charge said there were "issues" with my visa. She allowed me to board to Reykjavik and said the issues would be solved as I flew. I had to check in again at Reykjavik. There was no "issue" with my visa and I was received normally at my destination. Comfort level on business class was sub-par and options on entertainment center very limited."
Voordelen: "I had sprained my ankle the day before my flights, and the crew were all very nice and accommodating for me."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the fact that when I booked my flight, I was misled to believe that my checked baggage was included. The message said that "cabin baggage was included", but since when is cabin baggage NOT included?? I was surprised to find out when I was checking in that I had to pay an extra 50 Euros to check my luggage in, which I was really not happy about since the flight itself was already so expensive."
Nadelen: "The check-in process was horrible. It took over an hour to drop off our bags and get a boarding pass."
Voordelen: "friendly and helpful flight crew"

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Nadelen: "The flight was delaying for 1 hour and 45 minutes. It was not a pleasant time yesterday. The airline did not tell passengers what caused the delaying. I hope the airline will improve this caused next time."
Voordelen: "Got home safely"
Voordelen: "This flight was good, direct to PDX in 8 hours. Inflight entertainment was good and staff pleasant. Boarding was smooth and flight was on time. Luggage all retrieved safely at destination."
Nadelen: "My complaint is with Kayak! We believed we were choosing a flight with first bag checked free, but that was so far from the truth! Each of our two checked bags cost $75 USD, adding a brutal $150 to the cost of our flight! Food was also quite expensive."
Nadelen: "Didn’t happen."
Nadelen: "Baggage fees were horribly expensive."
Voordelen: "Everything went okay for us on this flight. In the future, I will suggest to my wife, who books air travel for us to read the fine print. The cost to check a bag was $100.00 which would have run us $300.00 for the trip: Boston to Brussels with a layover in Reykjavik, but on the return Brussels to Reykjavik with four days in Iceland and the return to Boston, so there goes the cheap flight! I did enjoy the in-flight movie and a documentary on the return trip as well."
Nadelen: "My own earphones on the flight from Brussels to Iceland did not work. I could not plug them into the system."
Voordelen: "My exit aisle seat was just great, with no one on either side of me !!!!! Very kind airplane staff. I had a great sleep."

Nadelen: "Multi-hour delays - strike induced on outbound flight, weather induced on return flight. Email notifications were nice but inconsistent. Expensive food."
Voordelen: "Second time I have flown to Brussels with Iceland Air. I love their customer service and especially the flight route. My flight going over was cancelled due to weather. I called their reservation office , had to wait on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes , but it was worth it. The reservation agent found me a new flight on LH, she explained I would get a conformation about 3 hours after our conversation with the flight information and new txt information. I was able to check in with LH on line that evening. Iceland Air had every pre assigned seats for me."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Kevlavik is pretty awful. No seating around gate areas. You have to stand in line for about 30 minutes to then have to get on shuttle to be driven to plane where you have to walk on stairs to get to plane, or in some cases you actually get to board from the terminal, which happened yesterday. I have MS,and sometimes standing for long periods of time and then having to climb up stairs is difficult for me. I also see a lot of elderly people and parents with babies having difficulty with this boarding process. Their airport really needs major expansion for the amount of people that travel thru their. Seating araes around their gates should be a priority."

Voordelen: "efficiency, cleanliness"
Nadelen: "Again, 757 is most confining jet for passenger comfort still flying."
Voordelen: "Descent selection of movies and tv shows helped with the long flight. Flight times are great for reduced layover times in Iceland from PDX to MAN."
Voordelen: "Food was as advertised, and entertainment was not at all disappointing."
Nadelen: "Seat screwup... IcelandAir screwed up my seat selection and failed in three opportunities to fix it. During online check-in, I swapped my aisle seat for an exit row middle seat with empty standing room in front of me (because I am tall this is important). Skeptical, I verified this twice at Stockholm ARL by checking computer and with the bagge agent. She reassured me I would have long leg room. Upon boarding, I quickly learned I had been misled: I had a middle seat with short leg room and between two passengers. A flight attendant declined to listen or help me even though better seats were available. It turned out to be my worst trans-oceanic flight among 1 to 2 dozen in my life."
Voordelen: "Comfortable seats with leg room."
Nadelen: "Two flights I had broken screen so watching movies was accomplished sharing my daughters screen."
Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of room. The price is usually less."
Nadelen: "Food choices are very limited on flights to The US. The prices are based on the Icelandic economy...very, very expensive. I recommend buying food at the airport and take it on or later. Some planes are older and not as comfortable but there is no way to know ahead of time. The USB port does not charge your device and there is no electrical plug even though it is advertised. After a flight they fold the blankets and reuse the pillows....yuck!"
Nadelen: "No snacks and I asked for headphones, but flight attendant forgot about me."
Voordelen: "Icelandair was incredible. The crew was so friendly and helpful and the flight was a breeze. They offer many choices of entertainment on the plane's tv along with food and drink. I would fly Icelandair again and definitely recommend the airline to anyone traveling."
Nadelen: "Nothing about Icelandair, but the Keflavik airport. Boarding the flight while still in Iceland was a little bit of a hassle. The airport is a bit unorganized at the gates and there is no seating around the gates and random lines everywhere"
Voordelen: "Good price and short layover. The plane was clean and comfortable."
Nadelen: "The boarding process in Reykjavik was chaotic. Food and entertainment available for PURCHASE."
Voordelen: "Personnel sympa, avion confortable."

Nadelen: "Why only two bathrooms at the tail of the plane? Makes for a long line of people and not much room to stretch out on an eight hour flight."
Voordelen: "The complimentary service. The wonderful passenger lounge where we waited before going to the gate was a treat! We appreciated the free salad buffet and beverages. It was a quiet oasis!"
Nadelen: "Crowding and standing room only in Reykjavik terminal at the gate with no seating available was very difficult. There were several gates located in one small area very close together and no way to queue up for your particular gate. People were pushing through the crowd from the back to find their gate instead of being able to form an orderly line. If you are elderly or compromised in any way, this can be very stressful and uncomfortable. Our boarding was delayed and it was a miserable experience standing for so long with people pushing past us. Riding the buses and carrying our bags up several stairs to get on the plane was not easy and we were stressed and exhausted by the experience. The seats in this plane were not as comfortable as the flight from Helsinki. The seats were small and not deep enough, and had no foot rests. So the longest part of our flight to Portland was not as comfortable. Riding the bus from our arrival gate and baggage area in Portland and on to the main terminal was difficult. After getting our checked bags though customs and piled onto a cart along with our carry on bags, we had to unload them all into the bus and ride standing up holding on to everything while the driver went a little too fast, making it very hard to stay standing. Again, this makes it very stressful and difficult for anyone who is older or compromised physically. Iceland Air is not a friend of the elderly!"
Voordelen: "In flight services, pleasant flight attendants."
Nadelen: "Took shuttle buses to the plane that was parked on the tarmac. Had stairs to board at the front and rear of the plane. Great to have two access points, in theory. No clear instructions regarding who should board at which staircase. As a result, some passengers who were in the last row boarded at the front door. Might be better to give clear instructions that passengers in seats 23 and higher should board at the rear."
Voordelen: "An eight hour flight but no food provided? Only for purchase? I can't think of any overseas flight I've had that didn't provide some type of meal."
Voordelen: "The flight, comfort, crew and entertainment was good on my flight"
Voordelen: "I probably won't be flying islandair again"
Nadelen: "The whole experience was poor. I'm disappointed."
Voordelen: "Well stocked cabin with blankets and pillows."
Nadelen: "Mass boarding from a bus meant people entered from both ends of the plane in no specific order, so were moving in opposite directions in the narrow isle while managing carry on luggage. Not very efficient. Additional,water bottles should be available upon request on overseas flights."
Voordelen: "Lots of leg room in row 7, nice flight attendants."
Nadelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Too bad that there is no food included in the flights. We bought sandwiches, and they were worth it though :)"

Le vol en lui-même s'est bien passé. En revanche, l'obtention du boarding pass et les formalités à remplir en ligne ont été une vraie galère (et à faire en double exemplaire, en plus (American Airlines + Kayak)).

Annulation sans proposition de solution

Parce que AA a mal fait son planning , pas de pilote . Il a fallu attendre un pilote puis un co pilote. On a décollé avec 1h40 de retard

Nadelen: "The head phone jacks were loose so watching a movie was extremely difficult. The aisle is so small you can’t even walk down it without bumping people who are seated. It seemed like none of the crew wanted to be there."
Nadelen: "The flight attendants were friendly, watched a movie, thanks for the ear buds to listen to the movie. There was a lot of turbulence but I feel our pilot managed it very well bringing us in safely and smoothly as possible. I can't think of anything that could have been improved on."

Nadelen: "The boarding process was terrible. The boarding time changed every 5 minutes"

Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

Nadelen: "Le déclassement en classe économique sans prévenir et une indemnisation impossible vol British opéré par American et donc les deux compagnie se renvoie la balle pour l’indemnisation (trois cents dollars par siège....) Plus jamais de voyage sur cette compagnie"
Voordelen: "L’equipage ne répondait pas à nos questions et le service laissait à désirer. Les sièges étaient confortables mais nous avons dû se faire réassigner parce qu’on nous avait séparés sur tous les vols."

Nadelen: "Having to wait 5 hours for the flight as my FRA to DFW flight arrived late. I had been up over 26 hours already and was struggling to stay awake prior to the flight. (My day didn't end until I'd been up more than 32 hours.) Crew from the late arriving flight should have announced the connecting flight delay well before landing at DFW. The flight should have been held for 20 minutes, as it appeared that the majority of the passengers affected were able to clear customs and arrive at the gate in time. Headphone jack had a very poor connection. Plane was dirty."

Nadelen: "Had terrible seats with no reclines and near the bathroom. They charge extra for better seats, they should offer something in return for below average seats."
Voordelen: "The pilot was very apologetic about being delayed but we were able to catch the flight because it was delayed for about more than 2 hours."
Nadelen: "It was cold in the beginning of the flight. We were delayed at the first flight and when we got to the gate there were no one available at the gate to check us in. We had to go to customer service to get on board."

Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."
