The crew was very friendly and allowed us to sleep most of the flight --- I guess they figured that most of the travelers prefer to just sleep and not be disturbed during a 15-hour flight. There was a good selection of movies and shows to watch to pass the time. I liked that there was time to go on the city tour of Doha and that there is a counter at the airport for the city tour."
Nadelen: "My flight started in Kathmandu and the layover for the connecting flight from Doha to LAX was 12 hours. I hope Qatar can come up with a schedule that will reduce the layover down to less hours while still giving passengers time to go on the city tour, if they want to."

We had the gate information displayed just 1 hour before departure. London to hyderabad flight was too cold. If the temperature was adjusted above 72 degrees it would have been appreciated. London to hyderabad flight was cramped up. Not at all spacious, my knees started to hurt after the flight."

Nadelen: "I wasn't looking forward to the 11 hour flight, however the 4+ hour delay was a significant inconvenience. We were on the tarmac in Abidjan for almost an hour, before we were informed that there were some technical issues. We were told it was a minor issue, until clearly it was a large enough issue as a lot of time passed by. Air stopped flowing so many passengers including myself became uncomfortably hot and dehydrated. The flight attendants only came down the aisle once with water, which was not considerate enough given that the air stopped flowing. Finally close to two hours later passengers we instructed to disembark without mention of how long the wait would be. We re-boarded the flight after about an hour and only then were informed that there was not enough power to fly the plane. Once we took off the air flow returned and the flight overall was pleasant. While safety of course is a priority, especially for a long overnight flight, communication could have been much better."

Voordelen: "we had an overnight stay in addis ababa so we got a free accommodation in town, that was so great, a chance to see town and get a good night sleep before our next flight. the plane is big with screens so you can watch movies, the seat is comfortable, even for a tall guy like me (1.9 m)."

I don't get how they can just screw a whole day for a group of people and not even say "sorry.""
Nadelen: "They over sold the flight. Eight of us had tickets - I bought mine over a month ago - and they just sold too many seats or had too small of a plane or something. I've NEVER had this happen in 6 years of traveling continually. It's on my short list now of airlines that really just don't care."

Truly awful experience. I have no idea if I will have seat on return flight."

Nadelen: "Dirty bathrooms, mediocre entertainment."

Nadelen: "Crew was not friendly and seemed to ignore my requests. Seat was not comfortable. Food was okay."

Nadelen: "Seats were so uncomfortable, like three airline doesn't care about comfort. The food, which is usually decent, was also below par."

Voordelen: "I do like the cheerfulness of the flight crew. They are very attentive."
Nadelen: "The water is doled out in small cups. Not enough!"

Nadelen: "We were delayed for 30 minutes, then for one hour, then they announced a delay for 3 hours. They changed the gate twice and the staff was not communicating what is happening and when we are supposed to board. Also, they did not add my miles for my connecting flight."

Nadelen: "At Addis airport, they announced first that the trip got cancelled and postponed for another 7 hours. Then while lining up to change my ticket, I overheard people saying that the boarding is starting in 30 minutes and we have to rush to the gate. Then the gate number changed 3 times and the boarding time got delayed few times as well. It was a 5 stars chaos that trip!"

Nadelen: "A mother was put off the plane with her infant because she didn't carry a ticket. Was brought back on at some point we must have a heart no excuses"
