Nadelen: "This airline is an operational nightmare. I purchased a ticket with a connection, and the second flight being a codeshare, two months in advance. On the day of travel, I checked in, checked two bags, and headed to the gate. An hour before the flight, a Rwandaair agent approached me to inform me that they were no longer code sharing with precision air, the second flight. Chaos ensued, my bags got lost, I got stuck in Nairobi, etc. in Nairobi, one of the Kenya airways agents literally said to me 'avoid Rwandaair and precision airlines - they are both airlines that do not follow any regulations, and not just operational, but safety as well.'"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed, causing me to miss a connecting flight. Boarding was a bit confusing as multiple flights were departing from Kigali airport at the same time and same airline. Information was not conveyed clearly and it might have been easy to begin boarding the wrong flight."

Voordelen: "Modern plane with wider than normal economy seats. Wide screens with a variety of new movies. Food was good. It’s still airplane food but it’s good. Easy process after all with booking m, checking in, onboarding etc"

Nadelen: "First, the Boeing Executives need to be punished by having to fly in the Economy section of their airplanes. Second, Turkish Airlines (a wonderful company) must impose hygiene requirements for their passengers. I sat next to a man that had insane body odor and when I let the Flight Attendant know she kindly reseated me... It was great until I saw the poor woman who took my place ALSO asked to be reseated due to the man's smell! Unfortunately, I was reseated in the middle of the row, which apparently is by Boeing design, none of the middle seats recline. Who makes an aircraft that handles long (13 hour) hauls with seats that do not recline and are too narrow for the average adult? It was such a painful and uncomfortable 13 hour flight. To add insult to injury, the plane was delayed and I missed my connection and had to sit in Istanbul airport for almost 8 hours."

Nadelen: "Of the last 4 times I've flown with Turkish Airlines, I've been asked to move from the seat I booked. If you book and choose a seat in advance of the flight, I should be entitled to keep it."

Voordelen: "Another excellent business class service from the team at Turkish Airlines. The food offering was high quality, and the little cultural influences made it an enjoyable experience."
Nadelen: "The cabin design is perhaps looking a little dated and tired compared to some of its business class competitors. This was also true of comparing the 3 flights I had on a Boing 777 model versus one of the short haul legs on a more modern Airbus."

Nadelen: "The passenger that did get seat for her child and herself next to each other. So I gave up my window seat because another premadonna would not give up his. That was the only bad part."

Her luggage was going straight to Bishkek from the US.Last year an old model of mob.phone has been stolen from her suitcase - this year (it is ridiculous guys) souvenirs for friends, 2 small boxes of chocolate candy bars & new underwear with tags. Turkish Airlines do smth. at least try to prevent thefts."

Voordelen: "The food on Turkish is excellent, and it seems they come through every hour to offer water, coffee or tea between meals. The entertainment is also the best system, with the most options I have seen on any airline. And the seats are much more comfortable than most planes- the headrests bend so much, you can actually sleep without your head rolling off the headrest!"

Voordelen: "The flight and crew were fine. The food and drinks are free, which I wish some US carriers would take note of and adopt."

Had doubts about using Turkish and a little less expensive ticket turned out to be the most expensive in many ways. Went to the gate 17 minutes early and the agents and the plane was there but was refused entry and was lied and told to go to gate 215 and missed the flight even though there were empty seats on the plane. Asked for help at the other gate but was given the run around and ignored by everyone and told to go to gate 214. After I went to gate 214 was told to go to customer service lower level. Turkish airline supervisor Mustafa Bogaz at Istanbul customer service held a grudge because I was upset and yelled at one of the supervisors and he told Mustafa and everyone not to help me and wanted to get back at me and said penalty in front of me to the customer service member I was speaking with. Mustafa lied and would not put me on a connecting flight and said I had to pay penalty and wait 24 hours. Told me to go to customer service outside the airport and would not call them after I told him I was ready to pay for a connecting flight and could not wait 24 hours and needed to go to work. Even though an American citizen was told needed a visa after waiting 1 hour in line and had to pay to exit the airport. The machine didn't work and the credit card was refused. Got stuck at the airport for 24 hours and missed work and a family event. Turkey is a hell hole and nothing works. Will never visit again. Mustafa 6 hours later was still holding a grudge and told another customer service member in Turkish in front of me to lie to me and say there was no emergency aisle seat available for the flight the next day. Got an emergency aisle seat the next morning when Mustafa wasn't there. Everyone in the customer service team including other supervisors took Mustafa's side and would not help me and lied. Everyone had no compassion and held a grudge."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

The ticketing staff was unprofessional and attempted to blame me for not flying. Do not fly Ethiopian Airlines out of Accra ever!!!"

They claimed that the problem was with the integration of their system with SAA's system."

The inflight entertainment was very basic compared to other star alliance flights in the states. Can’t understand the pilots very well when they spoke English. P"

Nadelen: "Besides that the flight was 4 hours delayed and the staff gave different information then the screen, customer service was non existant. There seems to be no structure or system. Gate change was not announced. Staff was not clear or direct about status of the flight. I have had several flights with EA and most have been completely disappointing and frustrating. Forget trying to call anyone, it took me 4 days of non stop calls to connect with someone to change my flight date. Then once connected the credit card system was apparently down and they could not charge my fee. I had to contact the US office while I was in Africa in order to get anything done, ridiculous. They over charged me and would not honor the fees that were quoted on the phone and via email but the head office. Dishonest and no concern for the inconvenience to their customers. This airline would be the last choice, highly not recommended."

Nadelen: "At the Addis airport, it seems chaos reigns! My flight was never listed on any display to say what gate we departed from. A crowd of people boarding for two different planes just rushed the gate area. I’ve got no idea how everyone ended up on the right plane. My flight was never announced I had to keep going up to ask over and over. The bathrooms at the airport are unhygienic and the available food is abysmal. On the plane was better except that the only entertainment is over head screens that didn’t work my overnight flight was miserable as the lights were on the whole time and they repeatedly woke me up to eat throughout the flight. I’ll do what I can to avoid the Addis airport from now on."

Nadelen: "Checkin luggage did not get loaded onto the connecting flights at addis ababa. Had to wait two days for the next flight from addis ababa to gaborone botswana to receive our luggage. The ethiopian air office in gaborne was helpful straighteningbout the situation. I would fly ethiopian air again."

Voordelen: "Comfort The crew is always so helpful."
Nadelen: "Food did not agree with me again."

Voordelen: "Meal service plentiful. They kept the bathrooms very clean"
Nadelen: "This plane seemed older not as spacious or as clean as planes on Ethiopian I've traveled on before. Horrible film selections, and it's the same coming and going."

Voordelen: "food and beer were fine"
Nadelen: "4 flights ,4 delays. poor customer service . every thing is very slow ."

Voordelen: "crew was okay on board."
Nadelen: "delays, delays and no answers about the schedule from anyone. poor food, poor entertainment. the plane was small, crowded and a disguising smell all over."

Voordelen: "Outstanding personnel on the ground in Addis Ababa; outstanding crew on the plane from Addis to Kigali"
Nadelen: "The movie screen (attached to the ceiling) was broken and throught the duration of the 2h30 minute flight, mechanically lowered and raised itself nonstop, making a constant disturbing grinding noise"

Voordelen: "The food was terrible but it was somewhat editable. It could have just been because I was so hungry I could eat anything too."
Nadelen: "The staff was rude, the boarding was a mess, the cabin was at least a little cooler than previous flight but still very uncomfortable, the amount of announcements was absolutely absurd!!! It was almost an announcement every 15 minutes. And the plane played music (terrible music) for 45 min extremely loud after taking off AND and hour before landing. It was so awful and so loud you couldn't even hear your own entertainment playing from your own headsets. I understand music while boarding and de-planing but there is absolutely no reason to have that playing that long after take off and hat soon before landing."

Nadelen: "the flight was full so drink service was not well organized, lack of water"

Voordelen: "When I originally booked this trip it was with one connection and a 16 hour commute time. They added legs to my trip which significantly increased travel time. I tried to cancel my flight because I booked the flight with the necessity of arriving by specific days and times and they insisted on charging me for it so I just forfeited my seat and trip all together. There's nothing good to say about Ethiopian airlines."
Nadelen: "They are very unprofessional and unhelpful and I'll never book them again."

Voordelen: "Every thing include the crew members ."

Voordelen: "Staff was friendly. Airplane was clean, new and well maintained"
Nadelen: "The airport was disorganized. the boarding process was chaotic to say the least."

Voordelen: "Boarding and the programmatically were fine."
Nadelen: "It was a middle of the night flight and everyone was sleeping. The lights seem to come on every hour."

Voordelen: "Comfortable. Crew excellent. On time. Efficient on boarding and landing - good information throughout"
Nadelen: "Addis Ababa airport very crowded with no seat available for five hour stopover. Food outlets limited"

Voordelen: "Not much. Will not fly them again."
Nadelen: "Poor service, poor airport facilies, old aircraft, very limited entertainment, fool was tasteless"

Voordelen: "On time."

Voordelen: "1. Nice flight 2. flight attendants good customer service skills"
Nadelen: "Equipment issue-tv not working well , unable to charge my cell phone USB port not working. 2. Food on my return flight was terrible I am a vegetarian was mostly served warmed up frozen vegetable which were terrible 3. Return trip set next to noisy people, had coffee spilled on my dress, was upset and did not enjoy return trip .Grateful for flight attendants who moved me to another seat."

Voordelen: "Excellent staff, professional and friendly. Nice food"
Nadelen: "Aircraft "medium" range with business seat not very comfortable. No special attention to business class passengers at arrival"
