Voordelen: "SwilssAir is our new favorite airline to Switzerland and other points in Europe. The crews were pleasant and efficient. All flights were right on time. The food was very good, and the best overall we have experienced in economy. The individual video screens provided a nice selection of movies, tv, games, etc. Finally, transferring in Zurich is MUCH better than the zoo that his Heathrow!"

Nadelen: "Plane felt like a 1990 air France flight. Cabin dated. The least amount of room I can remember on a plane. When sitting upright and the person in front reclined, i looked at their head and if I crossed my arms, it would touch the seat in front. Could not pick up pillow that dropped on the floor, could not bend around the seat in front. Very hard to get out to use the toilet. Felt very claustrophobic."

Nadelen: "The temperature in the airplane was very cold. Both myself and all my children struggled to stay warm, even with the blankets provided. Is there a way to increase the interior cabin temperature? I also wish they had allowed families with children to pre-board the flight."

So we were not able to sit together & weren't even in the same area of the plane. We also had an old plane & seats very uncomfortable. The movie screen was barely visible so basically u could just listen."

Nadelen: "The whole operation was shabbily done. Because of a Turkish airlines' flight delay, we wouldn't be able to make our connecting flight to Venice from Istanbul. So the agents booked me and my traveling companions on DIFFERENT flights the next day, long after we had paid to be getting to Venice. It took a long time and a lot of work on my part to get our tickets corrected to all be on the same flight, and the whole thing was very unprofessional. The lower price for Turkish airlines is not worth it when you have to spend an entire day of your vacation sitting in the Turkish Airlines airport hotel because Turkish Airlines can't properly get you to your destination on time."

Voordelen: "Everything from above and the fact that my bags got home untouched and on time. It would have been a disaster to have to drive back to Bucharest to pick them up at the later time like it happened with other airlines."

Nadelen: "First let me tell you that when I booked a flight to Istanbul from Brussels, I booked, so I thought, the airport called Istanbul Ataturk with the initials of IST. What I got was SAW after I paid for a booking that said IST. Sabina Gokcen is one hour away further on the Asian side of Turkey. I did not want this airport! There was nothing I could do about this but bite the bullet & accept what I got since I was not allowed to have any corrections made after paying for this ticket. I am highly disappointed with Kayak. The first time you have disappointed me greatly!"

Nadelen: "Hot in the plane during and after boarding - no cool air. I have come to expect more from Turkish Airlines, and I hope they make sure they improve this aspect."

Nadelen: "Cabin staff were blatantly prejudice, would not assist anyone who wasn't Turkish or of their color. I had an injury and surgery to my right foot, and as a result was using a walking can for m9bility. One my return flight to UK one cabin crew member decided in their wisdom to place said cane in the overhead bin. I advised her, I didn't like nor think this to be a good idea. Things move when taking off and my fair was if one wasn't aware the cane was there it may fall and injure someone. She insisted, and put the can into the overhead bin, and surprise, one of her fellow cabin members opened this b8n, and down came the cane on a passenger's head. For her injury, they offered her water and proceeded to hand the cane back to me. On flight TK 603 or TK 1983 we were assigned seats in economy row 20 A and b, well my son was seated in 20B, almost sliced his palm on the armrest, because the cover that should have been there wasn't, thus exposing jagged metal. I had to insist that we be moved and they should NEVER allow the cabin be loaded with such dangers visibly exposed. They didn't seem to show much concern, since the flight was full of "blacks"...! On our maiden flight on this airline, we had a 15+ hour layover. Couldn't get assistance from airport staff on simple questions such as where could one rest for the 15 hours, airport staff are busy riding around on automated wheel chairs, and when we asked them to assist an elderly lady who obviously could not walk the distance to her boarding gate in Istanbul, we were met with glares, or look of "they don't know English" or simply being miss directed, whilst my son carried this ladies heavy bag, including his own, and I on my walking stick, until we located the infraction desk, where a true gentleman, by the name of Mahmet came to our rescue, or more importantly took over the matter and assisted this lovely lady who was heading back to new york, to get her water for her medication, a chair to sit on until a wheelchair was brought to her. Honestly, in the many years that I've traveled, I've never seen or encountered a group of unprofessional, disrespectful and just downright prejudiced to visitors to their country! You couldn't pay me enough to visit Turkey or ever fly Turkish Airlines again in my life. So, so disappointed and disgusted by the whole experience it begs the question, how was this airline voted the 2nd best airline in Europe? You must have a very low ranking requirement, or my expectations are just too high for this airline, airport and the people I encountered."

Nadelen: "I asked for sugar 3x before finally getting it (1 hour), but by then the coffee was cold and I had to request a new one and wait another 10 mins :)"

Voordelen: "THY is no doubts the best in flights and services. The place, seats, food, entertainment is top. My frequent choice! Crew is very friendly and responds to requests quickly."

Voordelen: "My wife and I try to travel internationally 2 or 3 times a week to various parts of the world. International airlines tend to be better than the US-based ones, and Turkish Airlines was no exception. We flew from SFO -> IST in March 2016 and they were really milking the fact that they're in the new Batman vs Superman movie with ads on the in-flight magazines, a fancy bat-shaped trifold menu, on-board amenity bag, and even showed trailer after the safety video. At Istanbul, we saw another plane that was completely wrapped with the Batman vs Superman logo. Haha The service was very good, food was good (they even had the chefs greet people as they got on and off the plane), and they had a great selection of movies/entertainment. Despite all the hours I have flown, I'm not good with sleeping in economy seats and while the seats are good, I still can't sleep in these. I'm about 5'-10", average build, and didn't have a problem with legroom or seat width. I like that they also give out this little amenity bag with fluffy slippers, earplugs, lip balm, and I forget what else. It's embroidered with a Batman vs Superman logo on it. Not bad! Earbuds are also free, but I don't know the quality because I used my own. After taking off, they'll serve a meal, pass out drinks (fresh lemonade is only available when originating from Turkey), and then dim the lights and leave you alone. A couple hours before landing, they'll pass out drinks and and another meal. I didn't try, but you can request a cheese sandwich and drinks any time. The only difference with this airline is that everywhere else, the flight attendants will ask people to right up their seats during meals. They don't here and you have to ask the person in front to please sit up so their seat isn't all in your face. Turkey actually has a city called Batman (near the Syrian border), and some ruins called Metropolis (near Izmir). No, Turkish Airlines doesn't actually fly there so their ad copy is a little wrong. We didn't get a chance to visit either of these places, but it would've been cool to check them out."
Nadelen: "Not anything to do with Turkish Airlines, but being based in Istanbul, the International airport (Ataturk) is still under construction. I don't know which flights used the jetway, but all the flights we took from there (international and domestic) required boarding a bus between the plane and the gate."

Voordelen: "In flight entertainment and Wifi is amazing"
Nadelen: "Cabin crew service and ground staff service is below par. Next time, I will stick to Air France."

Voordelen: "I like the accessories that came with coach... was not quite expecting that."
Nadelen: "There was a male flight attendant that was soo nice. Made me feel more comfortable."

Nadelen: "I was thrown into despair by the refusal of TA officials to help me in any way. I paid the full price of the flight but the officials of the airline were very unresponsive and unhelpful. I was delayed to the airport due to traffic and they refused to help me in any way. I have flown with this airline in the past and the airline was always kind and accommodating, but not so this time! I lost $1.1K for the initial fare and then had to purchase a separate $2.3K ticket to reach my destination. Absolutely NO other airline has been so dismissive to me. I fly United all the time, and they are worst by US standards, and yet (I never thought I would say this) United has always helped MUCH better than this airline! I called customer service and could barely understand their English, not to mention that they didn't care at all to help me. I lost $3.3K because of this airline. It was the worst travel nightmare of my life, and I have been to 50+ countries!"

Nadelen: "Both my bags came back damaged--- one had the handle ripped off and the other the TSA approved look was jammed."

Voordelen: "Crew members were very helpful and pleasant. The food was excellent and nicely served."
Nadelen: "The lie flat seats were narrow and not very comfortable."

Voordelen: "crew was good. Seat was good but it was a business class seat in a 787-9; so it should be good."
Nadelen: "wines were mediocre which was balanced out by the good quality of the food. Brussels to Abu Dabhi boarding was a little chaotic with coach and front cabin passesgers packed in a single bus. Noticed many older passengers standing for the longish bus ride."

Voordelen: "Good seating space, good service"

Nadelen: "The plane (A330) was parked at outer parking position away from the terminal building. They kept us waiting inside the bus for almost 30min with barely working AC at 40+ degC. Once the bus arrived to the plane embarking was done via roofless staircase."

Nadelen: "The food serving was late it could be more manageable. The leg space is also not comfortable. Also the some seat needs to be repaired as the recliners not working."

Nadelen: "My wife had a drunk passenger sitting next to her and the crew did nothing to stop the man from misbehaving.....what can I say to this inefficiency ??? I choose to not travel with ETIHAD ever again."

Nadelen: "Le racket de cette compagnie commence dès l'enregistrement. Nous étions en famille avec deux enfants. Premier bonheur de devoir payer 63 euros de plus pour éviter d'être disséminés aux 4 coins de l'avion, le système par défaut ayant fait cela !!! Deuxième bonheur l'avion est en fait quasi vide.."

Voordelen: "Vol de nuit . Aucun soucis. Transfert des bagages impeccable. Équipage efficace."
Nadelen: "Les couvertures ne sont pas donnes automatiquent ce qui est regrettable pour un vol de nuit où la climatisation est toujours trop froide."

Voordelen: "Surclassement Buisness Class, arrivée à Paris avec 20 minutes d’avance, livraison bagage rapide"

Nadelen: "The experience with travel agent (vayama) was worse than etihad, everyone know that etihad is not the same level like before, but booking through kayak- bayama was the worst where they didn’t reply on all my emails/ even wheb they did they didn’t answered mg questions, they couldn’t help if i want to book my seat or change my return flight. This is not my fiest time to use kayak app but this time was thr worst and it changed my mindset about travel agents, unfortunately my friends were correct when they said to book directly through airline not kayak..!!!"

Voordelen: "That there was a vegetarian meal on the second leg of my travel. And that the journey is over. Besides that, not much"
Nadelen: "1 hour delay to begin with. Then trasfer area at Abu Dhabi was utter chaos. While it's suffocatingly crowded, there was no A.C! No vegetarian option for meal on the flight from Brussels to Abu Dhabi. The seats hurt by bottom. One of the worst flight seats ever. All in all, a totally underwhelming experience."

Nadelen: "No body from airline staff was at Lahore Airport to facilitate passengers.Lot of time wasted.One staff member was attending 2 rows of passengers in slow operational speed."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was good when it eventually left."
Nadelen: "Boarding was chaotic. There was another Virgin flight leaving Launceston at the same time so the lounge was very busy. Our flight was late while the other was on time and there were no announcements that our flight was delayed. The screen over the gate also did not show our flight details at any stage, even when it eventually boarded.. I'm familiar with Launceston airport so it was okay, but for someone not familiar, especially an international visitor, it would have been confusing as to which flight was which especially as no announcement or visual display was given that our flight was running late."

They were weighing even obvious very small back packs that were obviously less than 3 lbs. talked to people in a rude manner and were not very helpful. I flew more 15 times in the last years. By far the worst experience. Flew emirates. Delta. Klm France airways. British airways. Even kenya airways. American and united. By far the worst experience. Service service"

Voordelen: "Après une heure dans l'avion sans climatisation malgré un personnel de bord irréprochable (distribution de boissons) on nous annonce le débarquement, diriger et abandonne dans un terminal malgré un repas offert, pas d'information après renseignement auprès d'un accompagnant de tour operator j'apprend qu'il faut se rendre à la même porte où nous embarqueront avec 4 heures de retard. Un grand merci au personnel de cabine mais le responsable au sol .... Mais en plus de 10 vol Ave Etihad c'est ma seul mauvaise expérience et de plus j'ai payer 200fr pour changer de vol et arriver 4 h 30 plus tôt résultat gagné 30 minutes oups"

Nadelen: "Le vol était complet et nous nous sommes vu proposés éventuellement un vol AF direct en remplacement. Après notre acceptation, en dernière minute, nous avons finalement embarqué sur ETIHAD. Là fut notre erreur car lors de la correspondance à Abu dhabi nous étions de nouveau surbooké à 23h00 ! malgré nos borading pass. Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. Nadelen: "They have restrictions more than any other flight about the size of the hand luggage- My parents were allowed to bring one hand luggage without any problems, but they were not allowed to take it back because it was "Big!" it did not put on weight or get fat! its a hand luggage that stays the same size! They blame it on the TSA and say it has to fit in and asked us to pay 325 $ to take the same bag that they brought things in."

Nadelen: "to long of delay at airport"

Nadelen: "The chicken meal was the only time I refused to eat on any flight... ever."

Nadelen: "Small boarding lounge. Etihad has reserved the inferior boarding lounges for the flights to India. Boarding procedure was not well processed."

Nadelen: "No proper entertainment on board which would have been fine if the cost of the flight was less.. but considering other airlines provide better entertainment for the same route and less expensive tickets makes its not ok."

Voordelen: "Good in-flight service. professional crew."
Nadelen: "Extremely strict on carry-on baggage weight policy. I wish I knew about this policy before going to the airport. Ended up paying $110 more, having to move stuff from my carry on bags to checked in luggage."

Voordelen: "Cheap airfares, direct flights"
Nadelen: "Flight crew did not clear cabin at takeoff and landing. Tables left down, seats reclined. Did not enforce standards resulting in restricted egress in case of emergency. Allowed passengers to get up, collect thier bags from overhead compartments immediately after landing and during taxi. Clogged asiles. Poor air con during flight. Extremely cramped seating. Low budget and lax attitude. Consistently late flights On a positive note, direct nonstop flights to major destinations at good rates. You get what you pay for though."

Voordelen: "New 787 seats were extremely comfortable for short-haul, regional. 2-2-2 may not suit some people for long haul. Good selection of in-flight entertainment. Nice sincere service."
Nadelen: "Boarding was unpleasant. Buses to aircraft: had to wait approx 10 mins in the bus on the tarmac whilst the previous two buses unloaded. Then the actual staircase / boarding process took nearly 10 minutes... queueing in 41 degree heat. Muscat is a very new airport and many gates with airbridges were not being used. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding."

Voordelen: "Got 3 seats so I could sleep"

Voordelen: "Food in business class was good although it was odd that breakfast was served at 3am while “lunch” was served prior to arrival once we all woke up."
Nadelen: "The flight was the “older” business class set up with lacks privacy... not normally too much of a problem but there seemed to be quite a few upgrades from economy so it was full of people chatting loudly. There were problems with boarding that delayed the flight by an hour. Also, the boarding at Muscat’s new airport wasn’t great with the lounge telling us to board while, at the gate, boarding hadn’t started. MIght not be much of a problem except the kids were sleeping on our shoulders and there were no seats at the gates."

Nadelen: "Poor quality headphones - jacks are often messed up make sure you have your own. Got food poisoning on Muscat to Paris flight - other than that the food tended to be quite bland. Need to give out more water on flight to combat dehydration as well. Stopping in Muscat's terminal was like a time warp back to a 1970s mall. Also no direct connection to terminal, planes park out on tarmac and take people on 1 km bus ride to connect to terminal. Legroom was pretty tight but not horrid Crew making announcements on landing were unprofessional, heard co-pilot or steward laughing in the background - while captain droned on in Arabic - this does not engender confidence in their ability to fly the plane!"

Voordelen: "Once i got to my seat i was seated by a smelly person and the flight attendant did move me to another seat upon my request."
Nadelen: "Trying to get on the flight was frustrating because there’s no organization! The thing i did not like was that they made us put the cover to the window up like 30 minutes before landing and the sun was directly in my eyes! I tried to put it down half way and the flight attendant made it a problem."

Voordelen: "Oman Business lounges good in Bkk also"
Nadelen: "Seats in business were ok but do not offer the position options that most airlines offer in Business."

Voordelen: "Nice service"
Nadelen: "Poor amenity kit and not as good as the usual oman Air lie flat seat"

Nadelen: "I bought expensive souvenirs from Kathmandu duty free and they refused to me at boarding gate that it's heavy, after long explanation they took my bag and said that I'd collect it at Abu Dhabi airport but never put it on flight even. Supervisor was extremely unreasonable and was not willing to understand that weight issue doesn't apply on duty free shopping."

Nadelen: "I didn't make the flight, my travel partner was in an accident and the cancellation fees were more than the tickets. That sucks..."

Voordelen: "The plane was very nice and comfortable. Bathroom did get dirty fast."
Nadelen: "The food wasn't great. Plane should've left earlier if expecting delays from incoming flights over the mountain."

Voordelen: "Other than the smile of the crew i did not like anything. It was late at night and old AC . I really liked the massage in the business lounge."
Nadelen: "Old AC no entertainment no usb to charge phon. Seat old with manual recline and don't recline fully. Kept us business messengers waiting in the bus more than 15 minutes because of one late passenger."

Voordelen: "Prompt; good leg room; decent food on each leg of the flight"
Nadelen: "No complaints"

Voordelen: "Pretty much nothing."
Nadelen: "This is an international flight which didnt have an in seat entertainment. They didnt announce anything and this is the only airline where they serve the food without even checking if you want or not. It was a mid night flight and i was fast asleep after take off. They woke me up and just threw the food on the table and walked off. Another first of its kind is they serve solid food first and followed by drinks so even if you are thirsty, you have to wait. All juice will be served later. and the most uncomfortable old seats. Probably they use different flights for different sectors and to India, they consider every passenger as just "cattle" class and use the worst flight they have. But no other option. There are few direct flights and this is the only choice. So have to fly with them again unfortunately."
