My carry on bag was just 1lb extra and the first person could have told me right away and I would have thrown away chocolates and brought down the weight to permissible limit. In general passenger do carry valuable stuff in carry on bag. I had to follow whatever I was told."

Ce vol était opéré par United qui n’a, manifestement, pas de hauts standards de service pour la classe business

Swiss Air rescheduled our connecting flight to 7:45 am. Our initial flight didn’t land until 10:20 am. The people at the Swiss Air counter said our flight was canceled. It was not canceled. THANK GOODNESS for United who rescheduled us on a flight the following day. Kayak, I was on hold the night prior to our flight to speak with you about this scheduling nightmare for 2.5 hours before the call was dropped. I did not receive a call back. I am very unhappy with Kayak’s customer service and lack of communication and do not plan to use your business in the future.

Swiss, knowing the disfunction of the Brussels airport, should have contacted passengers connecting to their flight, and escorted them through an accelerated process, to assist in making the flight.

I miss the old swiss air this new airline is not the greatest.I am swiss travel back and forth between the us and Switzerland ten times a year and I really think swiss is the bare bones of airlines thank you

I was seated near a big gentleman and being a big guy it was quite uncomfortable during the entire trip. The service was excellent by the crew

Voordelen: "Swissair seating is cramped with 10 across in coach in Boeing 777. The only reason for not giving "poor" rating on this particular ZRH-SFO flight, was the empty seat next to me."
Nadelen: "Next time, I will give Turkish Airlines a chance, because their aircraft seats only 9 across in Boeing 777 coach. On the SFO-BUD flight, the connection is through Istanbul, but the flight time is the same 15 hours, as on the SFO-ZRH-BUD route. In addition, two checked bags are free in coach."

Chez Swiss : impossible de réserver puisque j'ai réservé chez ANA... Repas franchement mauvais, rien de japonais, pas de chopsticks alors que la moitié des passagers étaient japonais. Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

Nadelen: "missed connection in Zurich because flight left one hour late, and connecting flight didn't wait the extra five minutes which would have allowed us to get on flight. Transfer desk was unable to get us to Bari same day although it was only noon; rebooked for 6:55am next day... Significant financial loss to us."

Nadelen: "Black box under the front seat. No room for legs. Seat blocked in lower position, impossible to make it stay in upper position. Entertainment wasn't working good: extremely laggy when it was working ... Seats are way too short. You got the neck support into the upper back ... And I am only 1.80m. Overall, I am done with Swiss until they upgrade their planes. Wifi was 99usd for 220 mo ... what a joke. A 20+yo plane for a such reputated company. There was still the ashtrays inside the restrooms."

I chose 2 side seats online but plane must have changed. Literally could not move. My travel partner ended up spilling wine on himself primarily due to this and 1/2 size drop down trays. Call button brought no help , had to get up and go retrieve steward in back myself!"

Nadelen: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

Retard sur le vol mais rattrapé par le pilote

le personnel et les repas sont excellents... Le confort est relatif et à l'embarquement en peu d'attente du à un faible nombre de cabine de checking ouvertes... Les sièges sont un peu spartiates pour le vol, donc confort relatif, mais pour une ou deux heures c'est supportable.

Que du stress! Nous étions en état de choc, ils ont annulé notre billet à l’instant: l’aller et le retour!). Ce n’était pas du tout normal. Nous allons faire un recours, c’est inadmissible. Jamais plus avec British Airways."

Nadelen: "Paying $275 to upgrade and experiencing one of worst flights and service I’ve travelled. No water supply for hot beverages, wash hands or brush teeth during eight hour international flight, not given special diet meal requested as crew unable to locate it, Entertainment monitor not working or housed in seat back correctly to adjust angle, remote handset buttons barely working to watch or make selections, unable to call cabin crew who did not visit through cabin for approximately two and half hours as ‘assumed most passengers were sleeping’, no wine choice only Sauvignon blanc and I wanted Chardonnay so had nothing. Breakfast ‘special diet request’ meal was cold hard bagel with colourful lump of cream cheese, which seemed to be what everyone else had. No orange juice, grapefruit that can’t take medication with, so had nothing to drink except allotted splash of water into small paper cup. Dreadful journey"

The crew was very friendly. The check-in to boarding process was onerous and unclear. I understand that part of the process is not the airline's responsibility but they can lobby to streamline the process

Am not even talking about emails going unanswered for days with very specific questions: how to book extra luggage allowance. Anyway…"

Nadelen: "Seats are not comfortable for a 14 hour flight. One meal was served 1 hour before landing, Need for more drinks and food during a 14 hour flight. Flight was held at gate for 45 minutes before takeoff without explanation. Luggage was not transferred from a connecting flight."

Nadelen: "Just a horrible experience from start to finish. My flight was delayed three times, then canceled, rescheduled, and delayed two more times. I was reissued three different boarding passes for my connecting flight from Mumbai and then STILL missed it and had to reschedule again from that airport. One of the most stressful travel experiences of my life."
Voordelen: "Trip on the Dreamliner to/from Nairobi/Joburg went very smoothly. Entertainment was limited but worked and was fine for a 4 hour trip. Food was nothing great but nothing disastrous, booze was handed out willingly, staff were efficient, plane was on time - I rate it higher than SAA for the same leg and would choose KA again."
Nadelen: "Expensive at $800 but limited choice in Africa so what can you do?"
Voordelen: "The crew on the ground and flight crew were very friendly. The flight took less time than I had thought and this forced the cabin crew to rush with serving the snacks."

Nadelen: "Made it to the airport 1hour and 15 min before the flight and was denied boarding. Airport would not allow me to see the ticket agent. Terrible experience."
Nadelen: "In a lot of airports, if a flight is delayed, the airline is aware and holds planes on the ground for a few mins if there are multiple people that will miss the connection. In this case, we were delayed for 2 hours, arrive to Nairobi and am at the gate 15 mins before and they sent me to customer service as the gate had just closed. More than 5 other people on the flight missed this common connection as well. Not only did KQ not have a system in place to work with other flights, the service area was completely swamped. People missed their connections because they couldn't get to the front in time to have a boarding pass printed or have a question answered. The staff were rude and didn't give eye contact or answer questions."
Nadelen: "Staff on the airplane a bit miserable. Uncomfortable seats and no choice of food. Going downhill"
Voordelen: "The flight arrived early to Bangkok"
Nadelen: "The plane was old. Some seats didn't recline. My husband's sound system didn't work. The audio selection was minimal. The bathroom started out filthy with urine everywhere, and stayed that way. These things are inconvenient on a 10 hour flight!"
Nadelen: "Kenya Airways ground staff in Nairobi was late to open the desk, creating a large line"
Voordelen: "The flight was short."
Nadelen: "There was no clarity on baggage allowance on either leg of the flight. This created a situation in which I was charged two different amounts of extra baggage and given bad information on both the departure and return trip. It was also unclear that, though we'd purchased a Kenyan Airlines round-trip between Nairobi and Zanzibar, the outbound leg was operated by Precision Air. This was not indicated on our e-tickets. We found out at the airport."
Voordelen: "Flying from Bangkok to Hong Kong, I didn't expect to be on an airline based out of Africa. Even though it was only an hour-long flight, it included in-flight entertainment and a full meal. The plane was a bit older, but comfortable, and the crew were very kind, friendly, and didn't rush the passengers. I hope I get the chance to fly on Kenya Airways again."
