Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

I was assured there would be no problems. Upon boarding they were not able to get on their flight. I have never had so many communication issues and frustrations in the middle of the night with an airline. disappointed."

Nadelen: "had a narrow connecting flight VIE to MUC, VIE flight was delayed and had to catch MUC to IAD flight in less than 15 min. One luggage was missing at baggage claim, but as DC/ Baltimore is home, luggage arrived in 48 hrs. All is well that ends well."

Nadelen: "There were a large group of very smelly passengers that came in at the end portion of boarding. The AC counldnt handle it and the crew didn’t use any spray to save the rest of us suffocating passengers. Thank goodness the flight was short."

Egyptian error on the other hand had very gracious staff, very comfortable seating, and while the food was average it was better than Austrian air"

Nadelen: "My father and I were seated in biz class but were unable to sleep because of a fan noise directly over our seats in Row 9. We complained to the attendant about it but she was unable to determine the cause. Many hours later, a different crew member identified the noise source and stopped it by simply flipping a switch. This disruptive noise could have easily been avoided but the ignorance of the crew member to whom we complained failed to solve it. By the time the second crew member identified the problem there was not enough time to sleep. This experience was extremely disappointing. We paid extra to fly business class so we could sleep, but this ridiculous crew error fouled our plans. We asked the crew to file a report about it and they did. Look into it. We expect a refund of the extra fare we paid, or else we will never fly Austrian Airlines again. I am an affluent person and I travel internationally 6 times per year. You would be smart not to anger me and lose my business."

Voordelen: "The pilot did a great job landing the plane in high winds."

Voordelen: "It would be nice to see AUA learning from other airlines on how to board a plain. To date it is chaotic, unorganized, messy and unnecessarily unfriendly. Interestingly enough it compares well to the non-existing system for lining up at Skilifts in Austria: Use force to squeeze everybody around you or cheat your way in sidewise. Not exactly my cup of tea."

Nadelen: "The crew members on the flight from Washington to Vienna were absolutely rude and unhelpful."

Voordelen: "My bag didn't make my connecting flight so I guess they upgraded me because of that. Exceptional service, food and comfort. Ground staff at Vienna and crew were wonderful."

Voordelen: "Flight attendance were amazing Smooth flight Comfortable seats"
Nadelen: "Boarding was very unorganized"

Nadelen: "Nothing really, everything was great! Flight was just extremely long!"

Voordelen: "This was our first time experience and we appreciated the dedication and the level of safety the crew administered, especially during this time of Covid 19. Thanks"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed and caused me to miss my connecting flight on another airline that had no other flights that day. As a result of the lack of communication and general lack of professionalism, staff refused to rectify the situation and take responsibility, and I was forced to stay overnight. Worst"

Voordelen: "The crew was very nice and all flight details were available and constantly updated."

Voordelen: "The staff and flight attendants were pleasant. Good entertainment and comfortable enough seats."
Nadelen: "I wasn't looking forward to the 11 hour flight, however the 4+ hour delay was a significant inconvenience. We were on the tarmac in Abidjan for almost an hour, before we were informed that there were some technical issues. We were told it was a minor issue, until clearly it was a large enough issue as a lot of time passed by. Air stopped flowing so many passengers including myself became uncomfortably hot and dehydrated. The flight attendants only came down the aisle once with water, which was not considerate enough given that the air stopped flowing. Finally close to two hours later passengers we instructed to disembark without mention of how long the wait would be. We re-boarded the flight after about an hour and only then were informed that there was not enough power to fly the plane. Once we took off the air flow returned and the flight overall was pleasant. While safety of course is a priority, especially for a long overnight flight, communication could have been much better."

Nadelen: "It took 45 minutes for a flight attendant to respond to my call despite me calling dor assistance every 10 min. I had an issue with my tv screen and was not able to use the in flight entertainment I am very dissatisfied with such poor care and professionalism from your staff. This was something that should not have taken 45 min to get solved and even worse despite the call light being on multiple flight attendants walked by and did not even bother to question why the call light was on"

Nadelen: "The delay was too much"

Voordelen: "I liked the services of the air hostess: they were very polite. The flight was also very comfortable and enjoyable."
Nadelen: "The person who gives information should speak the English language portion slowly and clearly for better understanding of passengers"

Nadelen: "flight was cancelled and i only got to know it after traveling first leg of the tip - then got rerouted for next 36 hrs. Now acceptable for both KAYAK and ET Airline"

Voordelen: "Staff was pretty helpful and you could mostly get what you needed if you didn't mind going back to the galley for it."
Nadelen: "Boarding was literally unsafe (too many people going down an escalator into too small an area). Terribly bland food. Buttons on the seat rest too easy to push accidentally (for things like the light or to call a flight attendant)."

Voordelen: "Although we had abou an hour delay, we arrived only thirty minutes after the scheduled time. The flight crew was very nice and friendly."
Nadelen: "The touchscreen did not work very well; was only able I o see one movie but is was an overnight flight so it wasn’t too much at a hassle."

Voordelen: "Everything was great."
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Nadelen: "Spent 10 hours in a broken seat... wouldn’t recline. Screen on next seat was broken so I couldn’t move there. Bathroom out of toilet paper and at the end of the flight there was SO MUCH TRASH AND STUFF EVERYWHERE it looked like the ground at an outside 3 day concert. I’ve never seen such a filthy plane. And the food needs improvement."

Nadelen: "On board attendants not the friendliest Kids food options very limited"

Nadelen: "old, uncomfortable plane with no entertainment system. miserable experience"

Voordelen: "Nightmare , I am separated from my baggage since 28/Feb. until now and the airline is incapable of providing the real status of my baggage."

Voordelen: "Meals were pretty good and a screen that had entertainment and could charge the phone. Baggage allowance helpful"
Nadelen: "Little tight on leg room."

Voordelen: "The overall work ethics and the ease of boarding was awesome as well as time line, for hotel transfer due to layoff time was also excellent"
Nadelen: "Nothing really"

Nadelen: "The plane from Entebbe to Addis Ababa was very old with tight seating."

Voordelen: "ET's on board crew is excellent. The food is great."
Nadelen: "Delay.....again."

Nadelen: "Did not provide special meal although I called ahead to request it. Connecting flight left before we arrived to Addis Ababa. Customer service tried to encourage the thought that putting us on a different flight was a courtesy..."

Nadelen: "At the Addis airport, it seems chaos reigns! My flight was never listed on any display to say what gate we departed from. A crowd of people boarding for two different planes just rushed the gate area. I’ve got no idea how everyone ended up on the right plane. My flight was never announced I had to keep going up to ask over and over. The bathrooms at the airport are unhygienic and the available food is abysmal. On the plane was better except that the only entertainment is over head screens that didn’t work my overnight flight was miserable as the lights were on the whole time and they repeatedly woke me up to eat throughout the flight. I’ll do what I can to avoid the Addis airport from now on."

Nadelen: "Checkin luggage did not get loaded onto the connecting flights at addis ababa. Had to wait two days for the next flight from addis ababa to gaborone botswana to receive our luggage. The ethiopian air office in gaborne was helpful straighteningbout the situation. I would fly ethiopian air again."

Voordelen: "Great cabin crew and food"
Nadelen: "Very old aircraft with broken seats"

Voordelen: "Outstanding personnel on the ground in Addis Ababa; outstanding crew on the plane from Addis to Kigali"
Nadelen: "The movie screen (attached to the ceiling) was broken and throught the duration of the 2h30 minute flight, mechanically lowered and raised itself nonstop, making a constant disturbing grinding noise"

Voordelen: "Absolutely nothing. The plane was hot, stuffy and very uncomfortable. The food was terrible and the staff was rude."
Nadelen: "The staff, the food, the entertainment, the cabin being extremely hot, the plane being so incredibly old!!"

Nadelen: "Crew was not friendly and seemed to ignore my requests. Seat was not comfortable. Food was okay."

Voordelen: "The flight was ok, left late but didn't impact our arrival time."
Nadelen: "Tray table was very dirty, restroom not cleaned or refilled, generally unkempt."

Voordelen: "New aircraft 777 from Boeing"
Nadelen: "Food was so poor. Only option was chiken"

Nadelen: "The waiting time for the connecting flight to was far too long...."

Nadelen: "Hi, I have asked 3 members of the crew to get me a glass of water from the time I boarded the flight. It took 45 minutes for them to hand me a glass of water. I have to wait till they all got settled. Only when them to start the service they were able to give me some water. I was really thirsty otherwise, I wouldn't have to ask for three members. I think it's important that they respond more promptly and do a quick service considering the long flight we have."

Voordelen: "1. Nice flight 2. flight attendants good customer service skills"
Nadelen: "Equipment issue-tv not working well , unable to charge my cell phone USB port not working. 2. Food on my return flight was terrible I am a vegetarian was mostly served warmed up frozen vegetable which were terrible 3. Return trip set next to noisy people, had coffee spilled on my dress, was upset and did not enjoy return trip .Grateful for flight attendants who moved me to another seat."

Nadelen: "My daughter's entertainment system crashed after 20 minutes. She ended up sleeping so I watched a movie. When she woke up, we were going to switch seats, but I tried to turn it back on and mine wasn't working. (By the end of the flight, only maybe 10-20% were using theirs as many others crashed as well.) The food was very boring. At one point I was looking for a flight attendant and couldn't find a single one anywhere in coach."

Voordelen: "Seats were comfortable & some of the cabin crew were courteous"
Nadelen: "Flight delayed due to confusion at boarding gate, unprepared airport staff, wrong info on monitors. Again lack of food, forced to take whatever food they give you or you're told sorry, how can one side serve only fish while the other side chicken??? Vegetarians doomed as they don't get anything & are left without food! Major improvement required in food choices & availability! Our row of seats did not have volume on the tv monitors hence could not use!"

Nadelen: "The food is terrible."

Voordelen: "Most things were fine"
Nadelen: "I don't like the 787 dreamlike at all: it is not built for pax like me who are taller than average. I can hardly remember an occasion when any of the cabin crew smiled."

Nadelen: "Addis Airport is terribly organized and far too small for the volume of people they're pushing through it (which is probably the lead cause of the poor organization)."

Voordelen: "They flight was on time."
Nadelen: "The food is poor. They should change the menu and improve on the quality of food. The personal entertainment system was not working. Such a long flight need to have good entertainment for passengers."

Voordelen: "Entertainment was good."
Nadelen: "There were tons of announcements in 3 or 4 languages which really was so annoying. Staff didn't seem friendly, lots of confusion there. Plane seemed every old and run down. Short stop in Paris took forever."

Voordelen: "At checking in they did not mind allowing the less than one Pound extra weight"
Nadelen: "I speak only German and the did not translate to German their announcements but they did in french"

Voordelen: "Clean, new airline. Comfortable"
Nadelen: "Kosher food was poor. I know there are higher quality options from Israel, Johannesburg, Frankfurt, etc. This meal was from Antwerp and was not nice at all."

Nadelen: "Escalators at the airport were spoilt. Rude crew before boarding."
