Nadelen: "There were a large group of very smelly passengers that came in at the end portion of boarding. The AC counldnt handle it and the crew didn’t use any spray to save the rest of us suffocating passengers. Thank goodness the flight was short."

Nadelen: "My father and I were seated in biz class but were unable to sleep because of a fan noise directly over our seats in Row 9. We complained to the attendant about it but she was unable to determine the cause. Many hours later, a different crew member identified the noise source and stopped it by simply flipping a switch. This disruptive noise could have easily been avoided but the ignorance of the crew member to whom we complained failed to solve it. By the time the second crew member identified the problem there was not enough time to sleep. This experience was extremely disappointing. We paid extra to fly business class so we could sleep, but this ridiculous crew error fouled our plans. We asked the crew to file a report about it and they did. Look into it. We expect a refund of the extra fare we paid, or else we will never fly Austrian Airlines again. I am an affluent person and I travel internationally 6 times per year. You would be smart not to anger me and lose my business."

Not exactly my cup of tea."

Nadelen: "I wasn't looking forward to the 11 hour flight, however the 4+ hour delay was a significant inconvenience. We were on the tarmac in Abidjan for almost an hour, before we were informed that there were some technical issues. We were told it was a minor issue, until clearly it was a large enough issue as a lot of time passed by. Air stopped flowing so many passengers including myself became uncomfortably hot and dehydrated. The flight attendants only came down the aisle once with water, which was not considerate enough given that the air stopped flowing. Finally close to two hours later passengers we instructed to disembark without mention of how long the wait would be. We re-boarded the flight after about an hour and only then were informed that there was not enough power to fly the plane. Once we took off the air flow returned and the flight overall was pleasant. While safety of course is a priority, especially for a long overnight flight, communication could have been much better."
Nadelen: "It took 45 minutes for a flight attendant to respond to my call despite me calling dor assistance every 10 min. I had an issue with my tv screen and was not able to use the in flight entertainment I am very dissatisfied with such poor care and professionalism from your staff. This was something that should not have taken 45 min to get solved and even worse despite the call light being on multiple flight attendants walked by and did not even bother to question why the call light was on"

And the food needs improvement."

Nadelen: "At the Addis airport, it seems chaos reigns! My flight was never listed on any display to say what gate we departed from. A crowd of people boarding for two different planes just rushed the gate area. I’ve got no idea how everyone ended up on the right plane. My flight was never announced I had to keep going up to ask over and over. The bathrooms at the airport are unhygienic and the available food is abysmal. On the plane was better except that the only entertainment is over head screens that didn’t work my overnight flight was miserable as the lights were on the whole time and they repeatedly woke me up to eat throughout the flight. I’ll do what I can to avoid the Addis airport from now on."
Nadelen: "Checkin luggage did not get loaded onto the connecting flights at addis ababa. Had to wait two days for the next flight from addis ababa to gaborone botswana to receive our luggage. The ethiopian air office in gaborne was helpful straighteningbout the situation. I would fly ethiopian air again."

Nadelen: "Hi, I have asked 3 members of the crew to get me a glass of water from the time I boarded the flight. It took 45 minutes for them to hand me a glass of water. I have to wait till they all got settled. Only when them to start the service they were able to give me some water. I was really thirsty otherwise, I wouldn't have to ask for three members. I think it's important that they respond more promptly and do a quick service considering the long flight we have."

Return trip set next to noisy people, had coffee spilled on my dress, was upset and did not enjoy return trip .Grateful for flight attendants who moved me to another seat."
