Voordelen: "Once my wife reached the gate, having left me behind at security, Turkish Airlines waited and were patient with us, the last to board the plane. The food and plane and bathrooms were all without any problems."
Nadelen: "We had a 80 minute layover in Frankfurt. Turkish Airlines should make note that this is not sufficient for making a connection. 1. The terminals require extensive walking. Not a problem except for time. 2. Security entering the terminal was seriously understaffed. There were a hundred security personnel, but thousands of passengers. The line stretched for half a mile. 3. Cutting, disorganization, mismanagement, lack of organization, and airport layout all contributed to making this a very stressful hour for us."

Nadelen: "In Business Class, the seats did not recline all the way to become flat. Other airlines (including Qatar and Etihad) have seats which become flatbeds even in 3 hour long flights. Very disappointed that Turkish does not have that options from IST to ISB. The boarding experience from IAD-IST was excellent...but it was the opposite from IST-ISB."

Voordelen: "I've flown with Turkish airlines a few times and compared to other airlines they are amazing. Even on short distance flight (1 hour flights) the offer a sandwich and drinks. If there are delays the pilot explains what's happening instead of leaving us clueless."

The person registrating me was unhelpful and rude claiming that since the first flight was operated by Aeroflot Dhe can’t register me through. Stuardesses were also unfriendly and unwilling to help with the issue."

Nadelen: "Rude air hostesses. 3 hours on taxi which I’m willing to forgive because of the weather. They took an extra three hours to send our baggage through to baggage claim because their crew “refused to work in that weather”. Get a hold on your recruiting. And then my baggage doesn’t show up. All my woolens were in there and I have nothing to wear and it’s freezing outside. They do not give me ANY compensation of any sort. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had and all just save a couple hundred dollars. Not worth the hassle! I’m still trying to get in touch with them to ask about my baggage but they’re unreachable."

Nadelen: "transfer in Moscow is a mess, incoming delayed and very tight to get connection but no support or fast lane at all. Was traveling in business class."

Nadelen: "The entertainment was not working for the entire flight. not much vegetarian options"

Voordelen: "Better than the average US Airlines that I have traveled on. They crew were great and very efficient! Pleasantly suprised and will use them again. Suprised about having two hot meals of lunch and dinner about 5 hours apart from each other. Good above average"

Nadelen: "Rude service at check-in. No eye contact from personnel. Online check in did nothing to expedite the process; we had to wait in line with everyone. Airport personnel did an okay job maintaining order with the extremely slow line. Security/TSA was typical for JFK - rude barking of orders, barely comprehensible even for me (a native New Yorker). No signs telling people to take out laptops or remove shoes. Staff joke among themselves while treating passengers rudely. It's an embarrassment to me as an American. I don't know why they can't fix this pathetic state of affairs. Other airports do it much more efficiently and politely."

Nadelen: "SVO (Moscow) airport was dysfunctional. Two Aeroflot employees told me to stay in terminal E for my flight. I waited in line for one hour (they only had three people checking bags!!!). I get to the counter and I'm told it's from terminal D. Thankfully, my checked bag made it. In sum: ask and confirm with more than two people since Aeroflot employees speak no good Angleski."

Nadelen: "Food on the second leg. Stewardess were unfriendly..."

Nadelen: "Toujours pas de divertissement sur les Airbus A321 entre Moscou et Genève et bagages n'ont pas suivis."

Voordelen: "Globalement correct, mieux qu'en 2016 sur le même itinéraire."
Nadelen: "Checkin fastidieux malgré un web checkin la veille. Il faut que le personnel de cabine apprenne à sourire encore un peux mais on sent une amélioration par rapport à 2016."

Nadelen: "They listed $50 fee for a second checked bag on their website. At check in, they charged $100!! Cheaters! Next time, I'd rather overpay $100 for a better airline. Most of international flights have free 2 bag allowance anyway. Did I mention rude stewards and sucky food?"

Nadelen: "The food was not to my taste. On ths flight, no wine or alcoholic bewerages were available."

Voordelen: "Aeroflot is very good value for money. The planes are new, roomy, have good in-flight entertainment choices and the crew give very good, polite service. Overall their flights are usually on time. The food is reasonable on flights leaving New York but on flights out of Moscow the food is really poor, sometimes even inedible! The English announcements are almost impossible to understand but that is the same on many airlines."

Voordelen: "My mom had the stomach flu and couldn't make it to the flight. I called both air companies (was on the phone for hours!) and they literally didn't care. Didn't refund anything. So if you're throwing up take the flight anyway, don't worry about infecting other passengers, they apparently don't care. Otherwise, say bye bye to your ticket."

Nadelen: "Im waiting for the flight for 2:30 hours and then they said the airplain flight without us . And then we wait for 12 hours again until 19:00 Then they said the boarding delayed till 20:30 . And after more 30 minuts they said the boarding delayed for more 4 hours!!!!"

Voordelen: "Crew was excellent! And food was very good too."
Nadelen: "I am pregnant and need to use a bathroom quite often so I bought prem economy class for a longer flight both ways. The SVO to JFK plane for some reason had two closest bathrooms clogged so we had to go to economy cabin to use bathroom multiple times."

Voordelen: "Friendly crews."
Nadelen: "The entertainment was not working well. could not watch movies. Food is not the best. Seats are comfortable, but could be spacious."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed 15 minutes. Then we boarded the aircraft and spent two hours inside, just sweating. Someone came and said it would take another 15 minutes to check the aircraft again. We were sent back to the airport with no information and nobody knew what was happening. We finally boarded the flight 5 hours late, and we lost our connection to Hong Kong. Nobody cares to explain or give you a solution. When we arrived to Moscow they said that we had to spent the night at the airport because their hotel was full. We verified at the hotel and they offered us rooms if we wanted to pay for them. The airline employees offered no help and we spent at least 5 hours looking for a solution. We decided to enter Russia and found out that the airline had another hotel in which we spent the night after finding the answer ourselves, because nobody explained anything to us. We wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone. They had passengers sleeping in the floor of the airport with little kids because they didnt offer them a room. They simply dont care about their customers."
