I enjoyed my flight, very comfortable and good communication.I liked the fact that there was acknowledgement of staff shortage and reassurance to provide excellent service! Shout to Ian and colleagues who helped me find a window seat, my phone and passport i miss placed when i had a little panic.please do share this with virgin atlantic !!!! The Pilot was the best!

There were many cancelled flights from Heathrow due to crew shortages. I was glad our flight had just enough attendants to fly, but they worked very hard & remained polite & helpful. Very impressive

They booked me on two different trips, then the agents deleted both trips, and then my flight got canceled and they didn’t tell me

Places réservées sur kayak avec option grande place . Non respecté. Confort abominable sur le vol retour. Vol de départ annulé cause Covid seulement quelques heures avant le départ. Incertitude pour un vol de replacement, finalement obtenu 12 heures après . Merci kayak: plus jamais chez vous.

Personnel très professionnelle et à l’écoute des besoins des passagers. Repas assez bien, surtout salade fraîche. Proposition de plats aux légumes pourrait améliorer l’expérience pour les personnes qui ne mangent pas de pâtes. Globalement tout s’est très bien passé.

The new business class configuration isn't the best. Knees keep bumping. The seat area wasn't the cleanest either. There was an orange peel on the floor. Meal - mediocre.

Nadelen: "Virgin website is slow and not intuitive. Couldn't get seat assignment until i was at the gate. No explanation why. Boarding announcements delivered via ESP. Half of the passengers were still in the boarding area because no one heard announcements. Arrived 30 min early but had to wait on the tarmac for 45 min for a parking gate. Baggage delivery at JFK took forever."

It caused A HUGE INCONVENIENCE for us since we are in Zambia for 6 weeks without our gear to paddle one of the most challenging rivers in the world... the Zambezi. Now we are constantly trying to acquire the proper equipment with very little success. We run a nonprofit called the Montana Kayak Academy which provides free whitewater instruction to youth between 8 &18 yrs old and we will be sure to tell everyone we know to NOT TRAVEL WITH EITHER VIRGIN ATLANTIC OR BRITISH AIRWAYS.... EVER!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The only issue I had was the online check-in through the Kayak site. The booking info Kayak provided was not allowing me to check in online. I thought maybe I wasn’t actually confining a flight which was terrifying when this was flight was for a business trip. There wasn’t anyone to call, and the whole online check-in for this flight was a complete nightmare.

Great service and better food than United

Liked the condition, comfort and cleanliness of the plane. Flight crew was very efficient and attentive. Food was very good, but they could have a slightly larger meal service. There was not enough food to eat.

Was not given boarding passes at Brussels Lufthansa check in. Told to get them at the gate in Munich.

J'ai manqué ma connection en dépit des assurances de l'équipage. 6 heures d'attente.

Vol retardé (+ d'1 heure), pilote qui annonce que les autres vols à Frankfurt sont aussi retardés, donc qu'il sera possible tout de même de continuer le voyage. Annonce qu'un employé de Lufthansa va nous attendre pour nous aiguiller. Rien de cela ne s'est passé. La seule chose c'est que j'ai manqué ma connection, à peu près 8 heures de retard. Inacceptable

Le fait de refuser de servir un deuxième verre de vin sous prétexte d’effectifs réduits à cause de la pandémie, Servir de l’eau ou du vin ce ´n’est pas plus difficile ! Aucun choix de repas et une bouillie trop cuite qu’ils osent appeler pasta. Personnel de bord particulièrement expéditif et antipathique. Le pire long courrier de ma vie.

Nadelen: "The crew was extremely rude. One in particular was very racist in the way we were treated and the way she would talk to white travellers. My 3 year old child was not provided meal after 2 reminders and I had to argue and fight for it. I was forcefully given Asian vegetarian meal when I had made no special meal requests."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

Nadelen: "American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me."

Nadelen: "No personal TV screens to watch movies, which would have been more acceptable if there were plugins at each seat to plug in personal phones/ipads/etc to help maintain battery. BUT THERE WEREN'T. Everyone's phones/ipads died a few hours into the flight and therefore had to stare at the wall for HOURS. I even brought my laptop to get some work done, but without a plugin to keep it charged, it died. In this day and age, for an overseas flight that is 10 hours long, to be this old old without updated features and without plugins, this is unacceptable. Flat out ridiculous. This plane was SO OLD and dingy. Just awful."

Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Nadelen: "No food. Just water Stopped to ask customer service about our gate and the girl was rude stating this is not a gate this is customer service. I asked again is gate correct which was right next to the customer service desk and she said over there"

Nadelen: "Throughout the boarding process, my spouse and I had a seat and pre-check, until we got to the airport and we were told they don't know why, but our pre-check was "dropped" so we needed to be rechecked in. What wasn't told to us was we would lose our seats and be put on the bottom of a waiting list. We were able to board bc other passengers did not show up, however we no longer had our seat preference, so I had a middle seat, although I'm a service member with a left knee issue so my seat needs to be an isle one. Also, there were no food choices that did not account for my allergy."

Voordelen: "The BA staff on the plane were excellent, given the horrible way we arrived to board the plane. They went above and beyond to help mitigate the treatment before boarding the plane. Also, our vegan that we requested via American Airlines on the phone back in September didn't appear on their list, so they made the best out of a bad situation."
Nadelen: "Our first BA flight was late leaving and therefore we arrived to our 2nd flight 20 minutes before the flight was to leave. The check-in staff were completely rude, telling us to run and threatening to not let us on the plane. It was not our fault the plane left late from BCN to LHR. Once we were actually let on the plane, we didn't push back from the gate until 5-10 minutes after the scheduled departure time. There was absolutely no reason to have treated us that way, so we promptly submitted a complaint to British Airways."

I've taken many bad flights and this was by far the worst and most of is was the terrible attitudes and behaviors of the crew."

Que du stress! Nous étions en état de choc, ils ont annulé notre billet à l’instant: l’aller et le retour!). Ce n’était pas du tout normal. Nous allons faire un recours, c’est inadmissible. Jamais plus avec British Airways."

Voordelen: "It's a non-stop from Austin to Heathrow. Flight attendants were helpful and professional. Flight was on time."
Nadelen: "This 747 should be refurbished or retired. I've traveled this flight on 777s and newer 747s. This plane was an embarassment."

Nadelen: "Boarding experience total Chaos. Late departure for no good reason, watched our plane at the gate being prepared for over an hour, we finally took off but missed our connection and therefore missed our Cruise Ship departure. We were put up in a hotel but upon landing in Rome, we opted to wait at the airport in lieu of the second hotel because of the timing as we had to catch a 6 a.m. train to get to Livorno to meet the Ship, it's first stop. Up for 36 hrs as we got little sleep, and were very tired."
Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful cabin crew, even on this short flight. I liked the fact that the Captain stood outside the flight deck to say goodbye to the passengers. A nice touch."
Nadelen: "2 heures de retards Siege cassé Peu et médiocre choix de films et dessins animés Pas de possibilité de mettre des médicaments dans un frigo et pas assez de glace pour palier à ce manque Accoudoir de A380 ne lève pas totalement donc impossible de dormir sur les genoux des parents pour les enfts"
