Nadelen: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

But now Joon is showing its true nature as a LOW COST airline.Seats cramped. Snacks and apple juice are now available for purchase only."

Voordelen: "That we were heading home. Nice seats. Good food. Lots of entertainment choices. Power plugs ( USB and European power) were appreciated. Wine as a choice with meal was appreciated and brandy after the meal."

I was in the middle seat next to an inattentive octanegarian who was nice but kept calling the flight crew to fix her mess up of the video system. No air controls on this plane - so it was overly warm. 10 hours of overly warm makes for a stinky passenger. Oof."

Nadelen: "It was loud, cold, the food was just okay at least my vegan meal was the bomb but it would have been better had when we booked the flight it allowed me to also choose this option for my husband. Since he is vegan as well."

Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Nadelen: "My pregnant wife was downgraded from business to economy 20 minutes before departure because the airline made a mistake with the reservation for our puppy traveling in the cabin with us. If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Nadelen: "The airlines didn’t even notify the passengers with the connecting flight. As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed for over 2 hours because of a reported maintenance issue with the aircraft but was originally delayed because of not having flight attendants available. When the flight attendants did finally arrive they all had an attitude of wishing to be anywhere but on this flight. The lead flight attendant even got into a verbal altercation with the gate agent demanding help getting people's bags into the overhead compartment because she was "injured" & not supposed to be at work. All in all a quite dissatisfying experience but not an uncommon one with this airline & this airport. I will use both only when I have absolutely no other options."

Voordelen: "Finnair uses the American Airlines flight for this destination. Non-stop flight Raleigh to Heathrow (round trip).. Fantastic, on time and comfortable aircraft."
Nadelen: "It would have been easier to book our seat assignments if Fdfinnair had directed us to contact American Airlines directly to get seat assignments. Could not pre-select through Finnair. If you did not want the meat meal the vegetarian meals on both flights included mushrooms...not into fungi."

Nadelen: "The airline "randomly" selected me for extra security. Even though I have TSA pre-check I was jostled around, sent to multiple security lines without any reasoning and the local Chicago TSA and airport staff didn't seem to know what to do. Once it was figured out I was subjected to what was essentially a cavity search. Again I HAVE TSA-pre-check but apparently that means nothing if an airline flags you. It was an extremely upsetting experience but you were in a situation of either agree to the invasive search or get stranded over 1000 miles from home. I will NEVER fly Iberia again after a cancelled flight and being stranded in the wrong country on the way to my vacation and the horrible security experience on the way back. I seriously may never go to Chicago either after seeing the complete lack of organization and traumatizing personal invasion. I fly a lot for work and have never had such a horrible experience. I would really like to know how many terrorists are caught with these invasive searches and would love to know the justification for sticking your hands inside someone's pants and grabbing their privates after they have already gone through a metal detector AND the body scanner. Especially for someone who has already passed a federal background check to obtain pre-check status. Absolutely ridiculous."

And we boarded the plane on time, deboarded the plane, they gave us warm drinks and pretzels and cookies to tide us over. 5.5 hours later? we take off. Nothing AA did was done right for the customer."

Voordelen: "We were able to be put in an exit row which was great - especially since my husband and I are very tall and it was a cross-country flight."
Nadelen: "I find it ridiculous that on a cross-country flight they can't even offer pretzels or peanuts. There was NOTHING!!!! I have been on short hops on other airlines and you get something."

Voordelen: "Direct Flight from LAX to RDU on a redeye."
Nadelen: "Delayed 5.5 hours at LAX. Boarded on time, waited at gate for 1.5 hours and then had to get off. During our delay waiting for a 1st Officer, the Captain times out. NO BACKUP CAPTAINS or 1st OFFICERS AT LAX? Then miraculously during our 3rd hour waiting for a Captain they discovered the 1st Officer was going to time out. So, rather than KNOW this while searching for a Captain, they waited for 3 hours and then had to find a 1st Officer to fill in. Result 2.5 more hours of delay. Even the Flight crew was in disbelief on this one. I think we should all get reimbursed and triple miles for this snafu. Nadelen: "Boarding was very disorganized Flight was almost an hour late After getting on the plane, there was at least another 20 minute delay"

Voordelen: "Great movie selection, including ones currently in theaters."
Nadelen: "Only received pretzels for snacks, while others received cookies."

Voordelen: "I was able to fall asleep and we didn't have to wait at the dock very long. Arrived on time and no delays."

Nadelen: "Bad seating system you can have a front of plane seat, but be boarded last. That creates personal items from being able to be placed near your seat and forced to put in bins at back of plane. That means waiting for entire plane to unboard before getting personal items"

Nadelen: "I lost my keys and not one single person has contacted me about my lost set of keys, even when I left my contact info with them."

Nadelen: "Flight delay, awful boarding, had to switch planes, no entertainment, no free wifi"

Voordelen: "The check-in and boarding process and time was great and quick, respectively. And the crew was quite friendly and courteous. Also, our luggage was waiting for us once we deplaned (could be due to low level of travellers)."
Nadelen: "Nothing really. This was by far the best and fastest flight door-to-door."

Nadelen: "Free wifi for business class customers. $6,000 ticket then asked to pay 10/hr for wifi is insulting!"

Voordelen: "L’embarquement s’est fait très rapidement"
Nadelen: "Retard du vol. Deux en deux (retard le 4 octobre pour l’Islande et le 19 octobre, retard pour Montréal). Des agents de bord qui ne parle pas un mot de français pour un vol en direction de Montréal. C’est inacceptable et c’est régulier sur air Canada. Je suis vraiment déçue de cette compagnie et je vais essayer d’éviter le plus possible."

Nadelen: "Didn't take this flight because a fire broke out in the terminal. I got rebooked to almost 24 hours later and a friend I was flying with got rebooked 36 hours later. Customer service at the airport was not willing to help us and we could not connect to customer service on the phone."

Nadelen: "Nous avions des billets avec united Airlines pour finas’ Se remdre compte que nous avons été changé sans le savoir avec air canada qui n’est théoriquement pas la même compagnie et donc qui ne se trouvait pas dans le même terminal... beaucoup de perte de temps ..."

Voordelen: "1. Repas de bonne qualité et offrant plusieurs à côtés (salade, pain, brownies, etc.) 2. Films disponibles à bord par le biais de l'écran de divertissement inclus au siège."
Nadelen: "1. Non disponibilité du Wi-Fi à bord de l'avion 2. Avion remplie à pleine capacité et ayant accepté des voyageurs avec plus de deux (2) bagages à main à bord 3. Aucun surclassement offert durant le vol tandis que la famille à côté de moi était malade 4. Ils ont perdus mon bagage à main alors que l'agence de bord m'avait promis de ne pas le perdre lorsque je lui ai demandé. Ils m'ont retiré mon bagage à main puisque ma petite valise que je transportais n'entrait pas sous le siège. L'agence de bord est parti avec mon bagage contentant tous mes médicaments, ma couverture et une partie de mes vêtements et c'est la dernière fois que j'ai vu ma valise. Lorsque je suis arrivé à Bruxelles, mon bagage à main qui fut placé en soute n'était pas à destination et j'ai pleuré toutes les larmes de ma vie."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "I didn’t like anything about this flight, except that we arrived safely. I had the last seat, next to the toilet, and that container or whatever it is, was dirty. Every time someone flushed, I was bathed in the smell of urine. It was raining in Toronto; consequently, my checked bag was wet through. I’m glad I was coming home rather than arriving at a vacation destination, where all my stuff would’ve been wet. I’d like to see some effort put into keeping my bag dry. Also, the passengers had to slog through the rain to get on the plane!"

Voordelen: "Même assis à l'arrière, l'espace pour les jambes est résonable. Rien à voir avec les boing 777."
Nadelen: "Rien."

Nadelen: "My SAS flight (which was operated by Air Canada) was delayed by more than 2 hours. A friend who was a fellow passenger was charged for 1 piece of baggage. She should have gotten a break from the baggage fee because of the delayed departure. That's another thing. Why is it that some passengers (like my friends and I) didn't have to pay for our checked baggage, but some passengers (like my other friend) had to fork out a fee for her checked baggage? While we were waiting for our trash (after our meals) to be picked up by a lady crew member, she took so long chatting with a couple of passengers that we had to wait a few minutes before she can get our trash. By then I was dying to get to the bathroom and nearly had an accident as a result. In the future, I'll try to avoid flying with any SAS flight (operated by Air Canada) if I can help it."

Nadelen: "L'agent de bord ne parlait pas français et il faisait très froid dans l'avion"

Voordelen: "Vol Bucarest-Montreal. L'equipage mega gentil. On est arrivé avec 30min plus tot que prevu"
Nadelen: "Le confort - 9h dans un siege en survolant l'Ocean (tu vois rien) et aucun ecran pour te dire ou t'es, aucun aucun ecran pour divertissment, tu peux louer une tablette à 10$ pour avoir les films et un peu de divertissment. Mais il y aurait aucun probleme si le prix du vol etait à 50% que le vol Lufthansa avec le confort necessaire. Comme j ai dit c'est un low cost à prix normal et je ne trouve pas normal."

Voordelen: "L’embarquement s’est bien déroulé, le vol était à l’heure."
Nadelen: "L’équipage avait des sourires forcés et était plutôt bête avec les gens, ça paraissait qu’elles n’avaient pas le goût de travailler. Aussi aucun repas ou au moins snack servis sur un vol de presque 5h, c’est assez cheap, on a eu droit une fois des rafraîchissements, sinon de l’eau seulement. Aux prix qu’on paie nos billets, on devrait avoir un meilleur service et un sourire. Ça fait dur comparé à d’autres compagnies aériennes."

Nadelen: "Retard de 7h à l’aéroport de Hong-Kong! Donc attendu 11h ( on avait une escale de 4h au départ) on a eu de la misère à se faire payer un repas à l’aeroport....c’etait Un bol de ramen sans breuvage...."

Nadelen: "J'aurais apprécié au moins une petite collation sur un vol de cette durée."

Voordelen: "l’écoite et l’aide offerte surtout avec un bébé et beaucoup de bagqges"

Voordelen: "La synchronisation des vols n’étaient pas stressant"

Nadelen: "Pas de place, pas de nourriture inclus, retards dans les vols, bagage perdu. Un cauchemar!!!!"

Nadelen: "The plain had been siting at the gate when I arrived 1.5 hours early...trouble was the flight crew did not show up on time. the flight left 2 hours and 45 minutes late. Even after we all boarded, they made an announcement that we were ready to go, but still needed a pilot. If I was this late, I'd be in serious trouble."

Voordelen: "J’ai apprécié la gentillesse des agentes de bord. Le vol s’est très bien passé."
Nadelen: "Les points moins agréables sont la connexion à votre application. Il m’a pris 30 minutes avant d’avoir accès au menu du lecteur électronique. Puis, le service des agentes leur du premier vol était ordinaire. J’ai demandé à deux reprises un verre d’eau. La première fois, j’étais un fantôme. Elle n’a que servit la personne à côté de moi. La deuxième fois, elle avait oublié."

Voordelen: "Not much"
Nadelen: "We are people, just be kind. Asking to be treated in a friendly respectful manner seems to be impossible for Air Canada! I thought Canada was known to be friendly and polite, if that’s true, Air Canada should change its name! They are experts at treating people unnecessarily badly. It’s shocking to witness and harsh and rude shouldnt be descriptors of any company’s customer service agents, especially one who represents a country!!"

Voordelen: "On time"

Nadelen: "I don't like how unhelpful they are, their food, their staff, the way they treat clients etc. Seriously my least favourite company to fly with. I'd rather pay extra and fly WestJet anyday!"

Nadelen: "Délais de deux heures sans vraiment connaître la vrais raison"

Nadelen: "Checked carry on from Montreal to RDU. Bag was never entered in the system (customer service at Toronto stop could not find record for the claim tag we were given), which caused a problem with customs. Bag did arrive with rest of luggage at destination, however."

Voordelen: "Food was good. Flight staff was pleasant."
Nadelen: "Boarding took forever. There was a child that screamed the entire way. Wish flight staff was trained on calming children, even though I know it was just bad planning on the parents. Also wish there was a hygiene policy. Half the flight was not wearing deodorant, and you could tell."

Voordelen: "Overall a great experience."

Nadelen: "Trop serré pour les jambes Nous sommes restés pris sur le tarmac en raison de la pluie lors de notre arrivée."

Voordelen: "As we approached Raleigh ~3:15am, over 4.5 hours late, the pilot apologized for the delay, which was thoughtful of him. And we arrived in one piece, so that was good too."
Nadelen: "While waiting for the flight, I whined on FB about our probable delay, and a friend responded with "I'm guessing that you're crammed at the end of that terminal hallway with about 10 other gates of people with no airplanes, no information, and 2 AC employees." Spot on. Apparently such delays, understaffed gates, and failures to communicate with passengers are par for the course. Friend even predicted the free bagels AC would eventually offer at the restaurant that closed 3 hours before our flight finally left. He didn't predict the multiple announcements about assorted other flights not having functional restrooms so please pee before boarding."

Nadelen: "Nalgré avis donné à l'agent de bord de l'état d'ébriété de 2 passagers, ces derniers ont reçu 7 vodka tonic. L'agence connaissait car clients réguliers. Ils avaient de la difficultés à descendre de l'avion. Déplorable."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed for several hours, while the crew assured us it was on the way. When it landed they still said it was being prepped. Then at 10pm or so, they said it was cancelled. Then we waited another hour and a half to speak to representatives and get our hotels. Then another hour to the hotel to go to sleep. Because I had to be back at the airport in 7 hours to catch the next flight. It would have taken me 2 hours to drive to Seattle from Vancouver."

Voordelen: "I hated both my trips with Air Canada. I payed extra for a better seat and the one I got was dirty. The tv was NOT working. On top of the 5 hours delay, I hated all the experience. The attendants messages is never clear and focus. It's like Air Canada is employing teenagers with NO work etics or professionalism. I am a frequent flyer and will NEVER flew with Air Canada again. The cheap ticket is not worth the cheap aircraft and cheap service I received."

Voordelen: "I didn’t like a thing! I cancel that flight a month ago, you said your were going to pay me back but I haven’t receive my fund. I have been back in America for month. Everyday I call nobody pick the phone or I’ll be on hold for hours until I hangup"
Nadelen: "What you can do better answer the phone and give me my money back."

Nadelen: "Making enough room for the seat to relax especially the long flight"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "The food! And 21 yo to drink let 18yo drinks"

Nadelen: "The seats were uncomfortable."

Nadelen: "It would have been great but they ran out of Buffalo Trace halfway through the flight - or that is the line from flight attendants"

Voordelen: "Nice flight. Easy check-in and boarding, friendly staff"

Nadelen: "Sinister manager at denver, inconsistently executed ski bag policies. we bought the extra legroom seats, only to find we were placed in separated middle seats at the back of the plane. When we spoke to a flight attendant about the mistake, she told us we could get off the plane and complain to the front desk...."

Voordelen: "I finally got home."
Nadelen: "Because of the delayed flight from Munich, I missed my connection to RDU. When I arrived at the gate minutes after they closed the door, they did nothing to help. The gate agent directed me toward the United help desk, which in turn did nothing. After telling me it was not their problem because the delay was Lufthansa's fault, they finally gave me a telephone number to call Lufthansa. That number, as it happened, was incorrect."

Voordelen: "Good food, entertainment options, communication from pilot"
Nadelen: "none of the flight attendants seemed to be friendly- literally all of them were neutral or slightly rude at best. Not impressed."

Voordelen: "The efficiency and professionalism was excellent. Both legs of my trip went great!"

Nadelen: "Made me check my carry on to destination when lots of people had carry one same size as mine"

Nadelen: "I checked in my free bags with with my united access in the check-in counter, no issues. I stand in the gate line for Premier access and the gate crew lady asked me to go and pay for a carry on bag in a very loud voice and asked me to get out of premier access line. When I asked her to take a look at my premier access status, she said stop yelling. Then another man in a suit walks in and first word out of his mouth is not an apology, but a threatening "Don't yell". I just kept walking away from this unqualified person lest it goes out of control. United needs to do a lot better. Just because these gate crew people feel stressed out, they should not take on innocent travelers. Instead of putting a customer under a defensive position, they need to learn to respect the customer. United is training their crew in a wrong way.."

Nadelen: "A gal that sat with me on the first flight had seat 15a on the flight to Raleigh, she gets very sick and needed the window seat....BUT. you folks are so screwed up at ticketing that you NEVER book families together. I've flow with you folks 20 years and its always been a hassle. She was asked to move to the back of the plane (seat 32) a middle seat...where she was sick the whole ride so you could do the "shuffle" of passengers....it's poor business practice. When I have a choice I fly SW now."

Nadelen: "The business class seats are worn and the entertainment options are very limited compared to Delta."

Voordelen: "lots of good movie choices"

Voordelen: "We've arrived just on time!! really liked the service"

Nadelen: "The delay after delay, the chaotic boarding"

Nadelen: "I chose Luthansa because I was traveling with a bike and they are usually good about not overcharging however after booking the flight, United took over the flight and they have very unfriendly bike policies (200 each way). Usually I will not fly United because of these policies, I think I am done flying any Star Alliance companies."

Nadelen: "Checking my bag was lousy...lax attention from limited staff and poor attitude of one ticket agent. DC airport was kind of a mess. TSA was disorganized, technology not working, calls for help from TSA officials went unanswered. It seemed strange to me that the airport of our nation's capitol would be so unprofessional. I felt like I kept encountering very unhappy and not so customer-focused staff. Flight itself was fine."

Voordelen: "Helpful crew when I told them that my right leg was causing me severe pain. I asked them to order a wheel chair for me when the plane landed They did so right away."
Nadelen: "The DVD player at my seat did not work. I was the last one to leave the plane, with the help of some crew members; but no wheelchair was waiting for me. A staff called but was told that no such an order was received and no one was then available to bring me a wheel chair. Later someone in the Cleaning crew made a couple of calls and finally ,10 to 15 minutes later, a wheelchair arrived."

Voordelen: "Good and frequent updates on delays and changes."
Nadelen: "No reasons for delays."

Voordelen: "boarding was efficient and fast; easy check in"
Nadelen: "oversold flight with 16+ standbys multiple flight delays with vague or no explanations"

Voordelen: "The crew was pleasant, the captain was friendly, the chairs were comfortable, and the entertainment options were perfect."
Nadelen: "I had switched airlines, and before boarding, I had to receive a new boarding pass for United, but it was unclear that I had to do this beforehand. The food seemed to be minimal and not thought out."
