Les repas n’étaient pas très bons

Le transfert de dossier entre Delta et Air France qui affrétait l'avion n'avait pas été réalisé. Nous n'avions pas de billets pour le vol retour. Le personnel Air France à l'enregistrement nous a dit de nous débrouiller avec le service assistance Delta Américain pour le transfert de notre dossier, alors que j'ai des enfants en bas âge… Finalement, quelqu'un a accepté de s'occuper de nous, et après une heure de négociation, il est parvenu à nous avoir des billets d'avion. C'était une expérience très désagréable. Je ferai attention pour mon prochain voyage à acheter mes billets d'avion autrement

Nous avons fait la queue pour l’embarquement pendant de longues minutes. Au moment de passer, on nous dit que nos passeports doivent être vérifiés. Obligation de suivre une autre queue. L’hôtesse nous demande notre test Covid alors qu’il n’y en n’a pas besoin pour revenir en France. Une fois les passeports vérifiés, on nous demande de retourner à la fin de la première queue…donc très long !

Température de la ventilation très basse.

Amélioration: le check in sur ordinateur deux jours avant qui prendr trop de temps et ne fonctionnait pas. (Près de 4 heures dd mon temps ! Entre les essais multiples et amples téléphoniques) make it simpler.

Le repas était léger, avec des légumes mal cuits, une purée trop salée et un morceau de poulet mauvais. Au petit déjeuner, sandwich au fromage 😒

Checkin via l’appli impossible

Notre vol a été annulé, puis l’autre retardé ainsi nous avons loupé notre correspondance. Ensuite nous n’avons pas eu notre valise à l’arrivée

Des casques anti bruits pourraient être transmis si les conditions de voyage deviennent difficiles : les pleurs et les cris d’enfants durant tout le trajet et ce quasi sans interruption ont rendus le vol très désagréable . Vol choisi à l’initial car etant un vol de nuit et cela permettait d’avoir un peu de calme. Le personnel était sympathique et avait des bases en français ce qui était agréable. Ce qui n’était pas réellement le cas pour le vol aller . En vous remerciant,

L’embarquement s’est déroulé facilement. L’équipage manquait un peu de disponibilité

Mauvaise gestion du retard et de l’embarquement. Repas minuscule qui donne la nausée. Personnel de bord qui parle super fort y compris quand 75% du vol dort…. J’étais très mal installé, même dans une low cost j’étais mieux, assez déçue

Petit avion, rien ne marchait, pas de télé, pas de wifi, tout en panne. Pas de compensation, auraient pu nous offrir quelque chose pour compenser, comme un sandwich ou un boisson gratuite. Très decu6

nous avons dû voyager par AIr France une journée plus tard le 26 juin 2022 vers 15h25. Lufthansa n'a offert aucune commodité en plus d'avoir perdu u de nos bagages

Le pilote a été super le service aux clients. Aucune information pour aider les passagers en correspondance. nous avons ratés notre vol vers Paris

Formalités d'embarquement simples. Le staff à bord sympathique. Assis à côté d'un homme a assez forte corpulence qui mettait en évidence la taille réduite des sièges. Le dîner et petit déjeuner pas fameux du tout, le niveau à encore baissé dans ce domaine.

Notre départ et notre arrivée étaient à l’heure. Nous étions bien servis par les membres d’équipage. Malheureusement, moins d’espace dans ce modèle d’avion que dans les modèles plus récents. Les écrans installés dans les sièges fonctionnent très lentement, donc pas beaucoup de divertissement pour le vol de 8 heures

Encore et toujours du retard, nous avons du changer de vol puis d'avion, imprimer de nouveaux billets et n'avons connu nos places qu'au moment d'embarquer

J'ai manqué ma connection en dépit des assurances de l'équipage. 6 heures d'attente.

Vol retardé (+ d'1 heure), pilote qui annonce que les autres vols à Frankfurt sont aussi retardés, donc qu'il sera possible tout de même de continuer le voyage. Annonce qu'un employé de Lufthansa va nous attendre pour nous aiguiller. Rien de cela ne s'est passé. La seule chose c'est que j'ai manqué ma connection, à peu près 8 heures de retard. Inacceptable

Le fait de refuser de servir un deuxième verre de vin sous prétexte d’effectifs réduits à cause de la pandémie, Servir de l’eau ou du vin ce ´n’est pas plus difficile ! Aucun choix de repas et une bouillie trop cuite qu’ils osent appeler pasta. Personnel de bord particulièrement expéditif et antipathique. Le pire long courrier de ma vie.

Wrote in the previous message. Poor. Delayed flight and lost working day. 4.5h together to rebook the flight, get the hotel voucher, get to the hotel and check in. Insanely slow.

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Our original flight was canceled. No effort was made to notify us. If I had not checked to confirm my flight we would have shown up to a canceled flight. We asked to be at the airport 3 hours before our flight, but the SAS check-in staff didn’t arrive un two hours before our 06:45 flight. So it was totally unorganized.

More free food selections

Outstanding service Boarding at the gate was a bit crazy. The gate seating area was small and they boarded the back of the plane and business and eurobonus at the same time which got crazy and very tight. Otherwise SAS is a great airline and service.

Voordelen: "We rode economy. This was on par with other airlines. Plane was clean, Crew was good. On time. Actually seemed that the seats had a bit more room than the American Airlines planes."
Nadelen: "Cannot talk to a human. Check in was at a Luftansa kiosk. If an attendant at the Frankfurt airport had not showed us, there was no obvious way to guess how to check a bag or get a boarding pass. So if you do not speak German fluently, ask an attendant as soon as you get to the check in area, and save yourself some walking and time."
Voordelen: "Business class lounge excellent. People who helped with the wheelchair were excellent."
Nadelen: "In a wheelchair. Check in was terrible and rude. The fact that SAS did not allow us to bring my electric chair directly to the gate was absurd (only airline in the world that did that). The fact that it was not at the gate when we arrived in Newark surprised even the SAS Gate agents. Had to go to baggage and collect it in oversize baggage. Will not fly SAS again until that policy has changed."

Nadelen: "When passengers in front of us kept their seats reclined the entire trip, couldn't move, difficult to get in or out of seats. Had to ask flight attendants to ask them to raise seats, at least during meal service. Food was worst of any international flight we've been on and we fly internationally several times a year. Very poor selection of movies and map was not working this flight."
Voordelen: "In-flight entertainment had a good variety of options to choose from. Passport control was timely. Food service was also timely and efficient."
Nadelen: "As with most airplanes, the air was quite cold, but the SAS blanket adequately made things a bit warmer. I'm always puzzled by the fact that once business class and SAS plus passengers board that SAS Go passengers can all then board. It would make more sense to have people board from the back during this time so that people don't block aisles and it makes arranging overhead baggage a bit easier."
Voordelen: "All good with SAS. Not good with me. I forgot to ask for a window seat."
Nadelen: "I makes down for food and entertainment but food could be bought and provided entertainment is not necessary for short flights with such good views of beautiful Norway."
Nadelen: "The SAS Supervisor at the gate permitted all preferred-level economy class ticketed passengers to board irrespective of the amount of their carry-on items - in some cases as many as three different items and many over-sized as per the measuring box located at the gate walkway, before conducting a bag-by-bag weight check on all the remaining economy ticketed passengers. Any carry-on item over 8 kgs was refused access to the airplane, and had to be unpacked at the gate in full view of other passengers to remove all electronic devices or breakable items, prior to being left with the gate agent to be placed on the plane as checked luggage. This procedure was conducted in an officious and highly non-customer friendly way, and was embarrassing to those passengers who had to "strip down" their single bag, in particular for female passengers who had overnight clothing and toiletries. A more practical and customer appropriate approach should replace such a draconian procedure."
Nadelen: "Flight delayed 5 hours."
Voordelen: "The plane was full and coming out of a very busy airport but the crew managed to make a good and stress-free atmosphere"
Nadelen: "A very dishonest experience. The booking never made it clear that I was not allowed to check my suitcase and I had to pay € 70 extra both coming and going and thereby paid 1 1/2 times more for my suitcase than for my ticket. I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."
Voordelen: "The cleanliness"
Nadelen: "I Had checked several times to make sure I had 2 bags included ( standard for US-EU flights) and every time. At the airport I had to pay an extra charge for my second bag which made the flight very expensive and just ruined the whole experience for me"

Nadelen: "Food choices and limited entertainment. I know that SAS need to remain competitive, but strict limits in drinks seems a bit cheap."

I checked my mobility scooter at the plane door, they put it underneath, but was met by a man who said he was going to take me to pick up the scooter (in the baggage claims area--after I was promised in Chicago that it would be at the plane door when I arrived in Copenhagen). Made me get in an enlarged golf cart, and took me to the "transfer area" -- where I had to get into a wheel chair -- for the rest of the journey to the baggage claim area. Then he stood there waiting for a tip that was to NEVER come!"
Voordelen: "The flight staff was fantastic!"

We paid extra to sit together, but when separated, attendants acted like there is nothing they could do about it. If the in-air service crew can’t fix it, then maybe not separating our seats in the first place would be appreciated. The crew was all very kind and professional though

I wasn't able to take this flight due to getting hospitalized with Covid and they refused to accommodate me and refund my money. Very bad on the airline to not help out a customer who has a true illness

Nadelen: "Tranisting through the reykjavik airport was a horrible experience. There was no information, and the terminal (especially the gate areas) were seriously overcrowded."

Nadelen: "Operations at Rekjavik airport are a disaster! Flights are so late that you cannot possibly make the short connections Icelandair has built into its schedule. The crowds are overwhelming. There are not enough gates for planes, so they park out on the tarmac and buses are used to take passengers to the terminal, which slows down the transfer process even more. Then the bus sat at the terminal with its doors closed and didn't let us off immediately. Once in the terminal, quick transfer cards were given to other flight's passengers, but not to ours. We showed our boarding pass to the person collecting the quick transfer cards. Our boarding pass plainly showed our flight was to depart at that very moment and the security person still sent us to the long line for passport clearance! The only reason we made our flight was because literally every flight was delayed, so our connecting flight left late. They were calling our names over the PA as we ran through the terminal, after finally getting through passport control. We have never had this problem at Rekjavik before. We asked what was wrong and the personnel told us this is the normal situation now. This is unacceptable! I will think twice before using Icelandair again!"

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Voordelen: "Flying over Greenland."
Nadelen: "one hour to go through customs and find my gate in Reykjavik I felt like cattle going through all those lines. and the trip took hours longer than direct from Denver to Frankfurt. I hate airplanes, flying, getting tickets."
Nadelen: "I have never had a flight with Icelandair where there was no delay"
Voordelen: "Crew smiles"
Nadelen: "Nothing served other that drink"
Voordelen: "Absolutely nothing"
Nadelen: "I needed to cancel my trip due to a work event being postponed. I tried to reach IcelandAir to do this as I needed proof of cancelled flights so I could submit to my trip cancellation insurance to get ticket price refunded. I tried contacting IcelandAir for well over 3 weeks, calling (sometimes on hold for hours before finally being cut off), numerous emails (that went unanswered), messaging on FB, I even opened a Twitter account to try to reach them through there- NOTHING! The flight was supposed to be taken last night- I received a FB message this MORNING apologizing for the delay, and informing me I needed to contact another party- I'm beyond blown away at the lack of professionalism and inability to answer a simple request, which was to cancel my flights BEFORE they were scheduled to depart."
Voordelen: "The staff were nice, the food was decent (if a little pricey), and the in flight entertainment system generally works well."
Nadelen: "Website doesnt work properly, boarding process is a mess, foos options at Reykjavik airport are expensive and not that good, and the in flight announcements were very hard to hear. Also, the pilot made an inexplicably hard landing in Boston on a fairly clear and calm day."
Voordelen: "Entertainment selection was very impressive. Very good customer service after our bags were delayed by the plane sliding off the runway. They were super accommodating of my travel plans and delivered my bags to me three hours away from the airport."
Nadelen: "The flight attendants were extremely rude. They also were very conflicting with their directions for the exit row seats. One attendant would situate you and your belongings and then the next would come and make you move everything and this happened more than once before taking off. The attendants were also giving away seats that people had tickets for and forcing a lot of people to move seats more than once. They also would not take trash more than the one time about an hour after the drinks service, so slow drinkers were forced to keep all their trash for the entire flight and ending up leaving it in the seats because no one is going to take their trash off the plane with them when they had asked the flight attendants to take it during the flight and were refused. Also for a 7 hour flight, at least offering pretzels would be polite. The plane slid off the runway upon arrival and then we had to wait 2 hours for a ground crew to come with stairs and a bus to unload us. Communication to the customers was extremely poor during this time, we had almost no idea what was happening, and with where our bags were, we waited in the airport for an hour before they announced that they wouldn’t be unloading our bags for another few hours."
Nadelen: "the employees will not help you if you have a problem with the charges or the website. They claim ignorance and an inability to do anything. Which might be true. But this can be problematic. Furthermore, the website does not work and they do not write back. The single worst travel airline in my book, though the flight itself was fine. The man I sat next to had his flight cancelled without a refund and a similar story to me, with no helpful employees."
Nadelen: "Not enough food options. Free Pretzels would even have been appreciated."
Voordelen: "Slightly more leg space than other airlines"
Nadelen: "My spouse got bumped from an aisle to a middle seat with cold nonchalance. No excuses, no compromises, just plain rudeness from the boarding crew member in Reykjavik. Seems like choosing seats early does not get you said seats with Icelandair. Given the fact that the boarding process was an absolute mess I found it difficult to remain patient. There was no organized line, and only one available boarding agent. Recipe for disaster if you ask me but hey, what do I know. Several agents were present for decorative purposes (?) and telling people that the line was a mess. It is the airline’s duty to organize the boarding process, not the passengers’. Not being served dinner on a 7h+ flight is unacceptable. Food available for purchase was very disappointing in both quality and service. Blankets were not available on this flight while they were on the outbound flight."

Nadelen: "Mass boarding from a bus meant people entered from both ends of the plane in no specific order, so were moving in opposite directions in the narrow isle while managing carry on luggage. Not very efficient. Additional,water bottles should be available upon request on overseas flights."

Nadelen: "Too bad that there is no food included in the flights. We bought sandwiches, and they were worth it though :)"

Nadelen: "The incoming aircraft was over an hour late arriving, but there was no prior message that the outbound flight would be delayed. The boarding area was too small to accommodate all the waiting passengers comfortably. Most airlines flying from Schiphol arrange for more gate space."

Nadelen: "Not enough seat for the passengers at the gate and also the waiting time in the bus before getting in the plane should not be that long."

Nadelen: "We were delayed for two hours due to a weather delay from the day before. When we boarded our plane it was cold, and then we had to sit and wait for 45 minutes while we waited for connecting passengers. I would've preferred to be held up inside the terminal a little longer than sit on a cold plane with little communication. No water fountains at KEF"
