Voordelen: "My flight was canceled and Virgin Atlantic gave us a free room in the hotel Ramada. My next flight was at 18:55 and I asked Virgin Atlantic agent am I allowed to stay in the room until time for my flight comes, he confirmed yes and gave me breakfast, lunch, and dinner voucher. However, next day around 12 I got call from Front Desk that I have to leave my room right away because it's time to chack out and If I want to stay longer I have to pay. I called Virgin Atlantic agancy again and the agent run my information and said to me I can stayin the room longer. After that I called front desk to confirm that but they said they didn't hear anything from Virgin Atlantic and I have to leave the room by 1pm. All of this was really unpleasant!"
Nadelen: "I didn't like anything. I didn't like the communication between Virgin Atlantic with travelers, communication between Virgin Atlantic and hotel Ramada. Everything was really poorly."

Voordelen: "Very short flight (43 minutes) No food, entertainment or beverage service. Staff did not check young children were strapped in prior to take off resulting in a two year old standing on dads lap throughout take off, flight and landing."

Voordelen: "I was selected for additional screening at the gate. I have no problem with this at all. From the start I told them I am traveling with my fiancee. They tried to hold me back in a separate area after the screening and I once again told them my fiancee was waiting for me. One staff memeber walked with me half way back to get her and then disappeared. By the time I found her and came back, the staff memeber was no where to be found. Now we had lost are spot in the line and had to go to the back of the line. We spoke to 3 different staff people about what was going on and everyone said, oh the guy over there will help you. But no one did. The staff had No idea how to run a security check or handle paople. There was No working wifi! There was no tvs in the seats, only the old style in the aisle. The staff told me the plan was going to retire at the end of the month. The food was more for animals then for humans! We got updates by txt 10 mins before the staff updated the gate on our flight out from SFO. I have traveled all over the world with a lot of airlines and Never had such a poor service, but what is it to expect. It was United after all!"

Nadelen: "During my flight from LAX to LHR I requested (pre-booked) a special meal (Asian Vegetarian). During the flight I was told there was no such request in their records and therefore I had to stay hungry for the entire duration of the flight. During my return flight from LHR to LAX the in flight entertainment system for my seat was not functional. I requested it to be reset several times and in spite of the hostess resetting it several times, it did not function. I had to stay without an entertainment system during the entire flight. This was my first time travel with Virgin Atlantic. I may never fly Virgin Atlantic again."

Multiple levels of passport control and baggage checkout are chaotic, but that's for most all flights coming into USA? VIrgin/Delta handled it well enough. By the time we got through passport control in Boston ur bags were waiting and we had no problems at all."

The food was horrible, I only ate it because I was starving. Flight was delayed from Sydney to Bali, which caused me to miss my pick up. Not sure if I'll fly with them again."

Seats are not uncomfortable, which is different from some airlines we’ve been on, and we really like the adjustable headrest where the sides can be flipped up to keep your head from rolling around while snoozing. We like that the silverware is actually metal instead of plastic!"
Nadelen: "The screen that folded out of the armrest was so small that watching a movie on it gave us a headache. The furst meal/lunch was so-so. Personally I would prefer a mixed fresh salad with a little bit of ham or chicken on top instead of the attempt at a hot mushy entree. The second meal/dinner was Similar to a hot pocket. The bread and the filling was pretty tasteless. Why not just have a healthy fruit bowl? Would have liked to see some English language reading material in the seat back pocket – it appeared to be only German language. Alternatively, it would be great if the flight attendants could offer non-German language reading materials upon request."

Not sure what I had, as it did not taste like BBQ chicken, and it did not look like the food my neighbor had (which looked like 2 mini pizzas). I chose not to complain about my food. It appeared passengers were keeping the cabin crew very busy. By taste, I could not tell what it was and I could only eat half. Not usual for Lufthansa food."

We are not large people but getting over the aisle armrest was very difficult to maneuver to avoid injury (falling). The security in Munich was upsetting in that one man yelled at me , "Get it out! Get it out! Get it out! because I put my electronics in one of the bins before my husband. I was confused as to what I had supposedly done and I said, "This is my husband" (who was removing his shoes) and this man's reply was "I didn't know that". We were not trying to cause trouble and we cannot understand why he had to yell."

Flights were on time, landings smooth, online entertainment worked great, food was delicious, and the service outstanding."

Nadelen: "I was ask to change seats twice so a family could sit together ( not a problem) but because of the change i was in row 41 and had no more selection on food (already by row 36 they only had pasta). Drinks were slow and we were almost done with lunch by the time the cart came."

Voordelen: "The crew was working hard, most were extremely nice and helpful. Their service was excellent. I enjoyed the food and drinks. The plane was clean and looked well-maintained. Most of the flight was smooth."
Nadelen: "Flight from Munich to Charlotte: I do not fly that frequently (just only about 1 or 2 times per year - usually with Lufthansa) so I had no idea that as an Economy class passenger I cannot use the Business class bathroom. I admit my mistake for violating this etiquette. There was no line formed so I just used it, but as I was leaving the toilet a stewardess grabbed my arm and sternly made me aware of my trespassing. She was very professional and I believe it was not her intention; however, she made me feel very stupid for not realizing that the Business class toiled is for the Business class customers only. Don't get me wrong, if I paid premium for my fare I would probably expect less crowded toilets too. In my opinion, this unwritten rule should be made more explicit to the Economy class passengers, as nobody likes to feel embarrassed by mistakenly wandering into an exclusive club they don't belong to. I know there are separating curtains, but they were open. I saw a line forming in the Economy section so my next instinct was to go a different direction, which led me to the Business section. I really needed to use the bathroom, so I did not think of the proper etiquette at the moment."

Nadelen: "KLM lost my suitcase and did not deliver it until three days later... They refused to compensate me for having delivered the bag with broken articles inside (A pair of Rayban Wayfarers!)"

Voordelen: "The best airline ever! Super friendly crew and staff, great customer service and nice planes. Love KLM!"

Nadelen: "... ear plugs, masks, good food or even picking seats? I remember when it was all complementary and standard on overnight flights. Oh, and the vegetarian breakfast was unfortunately poor as well. I know you can do better, because you used to."

Voordelen: "Nothing really"
Nadelen: "Flew KLM 27 years ago and the airlines seem to be stuck in the same era. Food is poor quality... Have you recently checked the Gulf carriers."

Voordelen: "Sandwich was incredibly tasty (although not much filling)"
Nadelen: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "No alcohol was available"

Voordelen: "Lisa I. was one of the best flight attendants I have ever observed. She enjoys being on the airplane with people who need help, comfort, to complain about anything. She was all over the airplane and refused a tip when I tried to insist she accept it. She said, “I have been doing this for a long time, I am tipped by seeing passengers having a pleasant flight.” I had goosebumps and the two women to my left and right were also impressed by her professionalism. I pray that Lisa is working on my flight home!"
Nadelen: "Absolutely nothing, even with 30 to 45 MPH winds, the plane was gentle. The passenger next to me was scared. Lisa said to let her know if she needed anything, the woman was fine the whole flight. Lisa came by with extra snacks and she smiled and said she was doing well!"

Nadelen: "We changed terminals and the communication was minimal. The original plane had mx issues, so the boarding/takeoff time kept slipping."

Voordelen: "I had a great seat"
Nadelen: "Food. No food at all on board per the flight attendees"

Nadelen: "Delayed flight"

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, smooth flight and comfortable seats."

Nadelen: "Aircraft interior was a bit dated. Entertainment was via handheld device either your own or one provided by the airline."

Nadelen: "Not gotten cancelled on August 18 and delayed for 24 hours with no compensation for hotel we had to get. Then would be nice to not get delayed 4 times on today’s flight arriving home at 2 in the morning on a day we HAVE to go to work because we already are in trouble for missing previous day."

Nadelen: "Food was horrible to Tv screen not working for a long flight it’s not nice"

Voordelen: "Crew bemoeide zich op deze korte vlucht met niemand. Bracht wat te drinken rond. Verder niet."

Voordelen: "This flight crew were upbeat and all smile. They definitely know what customer service should be."
Nadelen: "Only pretzels for food when you’ve been on a plane all day didn’t make me happy."

Nadelen: "How is it possible, in this day and age, that American flies a 9.5 hour flight with no individual seat screens, just the 1980's style middle-of the-aisle screen with 2 x TERRIBLE movies?? I know, there are much worse things in life, but an Airline that claims to be SOOO big and great, this is a total disgrace, seriously. And try to explain that to my kids-ages 9 and 10-who had NEVER flown a plane without individual screens (and my son has been already to 20 countries....yes, we fly.) Did I mention that the food is the worse in the industry in this airline? Give me now a reason to keep flying American, please...."

Voordelen: "On time. Friendly and attentive staff."

Voordelen: "Boarding, crew, frequent refreshments."
Nadelen: "Entertainment was virtually non-existent"

Voordelen: "No need to drive from OKC!!!"

Voordelen: "De stewardessen in t vliegtuig waren erg aardig en hulpvaardig"
Nadelen: "Nieuwe regels waarbij je je koffertje onder je stoel moet plaatsen of extra moet betalen om hem in de ruimte boven je hoofd te mogen plaatsen. Er is wel 5x gevraagd of ik wel zeker wist dat die van mij onder mijn stoel paste!!"

Voordelen: "It was a really fast flight. Twenty minutes from wheels-up to wheels-down."
Nadelen: "Plane is more suitable for passengers under 5'11". At 6'7", I wasn't an ideal passenger!"

Voordelen: "The flight had lots to offer for free entertainment."
Nadelen: "The Wi-Fi, while with a new, less confusing process, it very expensive for a single flight, but that's an industry-wide problem. As far as what American Airlines' problem is, this whole Economy class ticket system. Even with Economy Plus, there's less leg room than they used to have, and it becomes a comfort issue. And for the record, I'm average height."

Voordelen: "Comfortable seats"
Nadelen: "Seats were narrow"

Nadelen: "This flight was miserable. Seriously, one of the worst flight experiences I've ever had. The leg room was absurdly small. I'm not a tall person and I only had one inch in front of my legs. When the guy in front of me put his seat back it pressed into my knees. There wasn't enough space to bend down and untie my shoes, let alone get something out of my bag. My shoulder and knee were touching the guy next to me (a complete stranger) for the entire flight and there was nothing I could do about it. This was a red-eye but I absolutely could not sleep because it was so uncomfortable, so when we landed I had a terrible migraine and was nauseous and disoriented going through customs. I actually had to sit down in the airport because I though I was gonna pass out while trying to carry my bag, that's how shitty I felt after this flight. On top of that, not being able to sleep on the flight really messed up my sleep schedule and so jet lag from the time change has been made even worse, so I'm completely out of whack and its so much worse that it otherwise would have been because of the horrible flight. Also the food was gross and there wasn't enough of it. Even now, I don't think I have really communicated just how shitty this flight was. I was actually angry when I saw my seat upon boarding, and I'm still angry about it now."

Voordelen: "Nice airline very accommodating. Loved first class"

Voordelen: "The cabin crew was great at boarding and organizing the overhead bin space. Also, ground staff didn’t start check roll aboards before the overheads bins were full. There is nothing more frustrating than getting on after forced to gate check your bag to empty bin space (ahem, United at SFO)."
Nadelen: "Couldn’t get the entertainment to work."

Voordelen: "New and Updated plane, great service, great crew."

Voordelen: "My flight was very good and I had no issues.I was very surprised how smooth everything went and I will be use kayak again."
Nadelen: "There was nothing to dislike.I will use kayak again I know that much"

Voordelen: "Announcements and directions on landing in Philadelphia were very complete and helpful. Crew came around multiple times offering drinks."
Nadelen: "Baggage unloading took 40 minutes to begin. Caused jam up behind other arriving flights at customs and everyone in big rush to catch connecting flights. Entertainment good but touchscreen was not responsive and frustrating to operate. Long walk to new terminal for connecting flight even though flight was listed as the same flight number for both legs."

Voordelen: "Airline and crew looked after us and kept us informed. My app said the flight was delayed but the captain didn't seem to know this so we sat for half an hour or more after planned departure. Maybe he hoped to get an earlier slot. We were 30 mins late in the end."
Nadelen: "No food for purchase, just a drink and biscuit."

Voordelen: "Worst experience food is very bad"

Voordelen: "Flight much better organized, seat more comfortable"

Voordelen: "From boarding to landing evething was perfect. Flight was not overcrowded, so I could lay and sleep comfortable in economy. Crew ok"

Nadelen: "Old plane with no tvs or power source for a 5 1/2 hour flight. Dirty plane too."

Voordelen: "Is AA ever slightly embarrassed by the fact that their planes look like they're from the 80?"
Nadelen: "Shared TV?!!"

Voordelen: "Meh"
Nadelen: "The seemingly endless number of priority boarding groups announced in a garble no one can hear. The confused and I'll prepared crew (both to and from my destination); crew argued in front of the passengers over trivial stuff, and seemed to make the process of boarding more difficult. I was bumped over 5 times, by attendants without either a warning they were coming nor an apology after."

Voordelen: "The professionalism of the crew."
Nadelen: "The flight left late and they did not explain why their was a delay. The landing was not smooth. It was a rough landing."

Nadelen: "Missed the connection in CLT to BTR even though flight status on AA's website indicated that it was delayed enough so that I could make the connection. Ended up spending the night in a cold-assed airport with minimal comfort. I was already confirmed on this flight and AA knew, or should've known, that I was enroute. Not pleased at all."

Voordelen: "Either BA or American Airlines didn't know that We got switched by BA TO AN EARLIER FLIGHT TO JFK!. When we arrived in PIT we almost missed our flight to JFK. The American desk agent at check in had to walk us thru security because of this. OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE WAS OK."
Nadelen: "See above."

Nadelen: "America Airlines...worst service and just a horrible experience"

Voordelen: "Nice, comfortable planes."
Nadelen: "Food quality could be improved."

Voordelen: "Captain and crew were friendly and professional."

Voordelen: "Very comfortable First seat on the E75. Lots of space."

Nadelen: "This flight was good, but when I fly in July I pay extra for protection and extra for better seat. Flight was canceled and they put me on different plane, which make my day in San Diego very difficult, because I miss my meeting, I didn't get better seat ither,instead I got seat in front of toilet and for 3 hours have to listen door bunging and terrible smell. I never been compensate for canceling flight or extra seat price.Nobody care even apologize. I hope that was just unforchened incident and I still like your company and still flying with AA, but I was really disappointed. Sincerely Vera Vasiley."
