Nadelen: "Losing my bags after a canceled flight was not so nice when my thinks cost more than 1000 euro"

Voordelen: "Never got on the plane due to weather restrictions in the connecting flight prior to this flight. Called SWISS customer service on a Russian line, were told to get a paper from another Russian airport that no flights were leaving the city. Did that. when arrived to Moscow no SWISS customer representatives were at the stations and had to end up buying a completely new ticket to get home."
Nadelen: "Have customer service representative available at the airport 24/7 knowing that some people arrive from all parts of the country."

On m'a promis de trouver une solution pour qu'à la fin la personne ne vienne même pas me dire en face qu'il n'y avait pas de solution. On m'a simplement dit que le vol est complet et que j'aurais du penser à cela avant... Pas très professionnel !"

Nadelen: "Le soucis se situe souvent dans les aéroports, notamment celui de Tegel à Berlin. Je vous déconseille fortement d'y atterrir, c'est vraiment inadapté et des infrastructures vraiment désuètes."

Chez Swiss : impossible de réserver puisque j'ai réservé chez ANA... Repas franchement mauvais, rien de japonais, pas de chopsticks alors que la moitié des passagers étaient japonais. Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

The economy seats were extremely uncomfortable and tight, unlike other Int’l flights we have been on, ie, Virgin and British Airlines 2.Food was the worst we have ever had on an Int’l Flt. 3. Main meal selection ran out. Staff said there was nothing they could fo. 4. Our suitcase arrived really beat up. It looked like it was dragged along the tarmac. There were several large rips. To make it worse, this was the first trip we have used the suitcase."

Nadelen: "I’m a small person & your seating is cramped & uncomfortable!"

Nadelen: "missed connection in Zurich because flight left one hour late, and connecting flight didn't wait the extra five minutes which would have allowed us to get on flight. Transfer desk was unable to get us to Bari same day although it was only noon; rebooked for 6:55am next day... Significant financial loss to us."

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed because of a flight late arriving from Barcelona. Unlike an international flight...no entertainment & only a slight snack food. Still highest marks for the crew and the service that they provided"

Nadelen: "check in procedure in Berlin: That airport is different. You drive right to the gate from which you board the plane. I showed up early and was told that I had to take by suitcase to another location if I wanted to check in 3 hours early. After lugging the suitcase a quarter of a mile, I was told that they don't do that and I had to return to the designated gate at the appropriate time."

Nadelen: "No leg room very uncomfortable"

Voordelen: "Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Nadelen: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."

Nadelen: "Just a small thing the lady who was serving and picking up the used cups said I have to finish the juice and after she can take it away. But I couldn’t finish because it was too sweet and I didn’t like the juice. So I had to get up and bring the cup to the back. That wasn’t nice. Also they at but flexible about giving choices. Only one kind of sandwich they had but I think there was one other kid also."

The following baggages having the bagage tags: LH 093506 and LH 093492 did not arrive at final destination Montreal YUL! Please investigate ASAP and get back to us! I've spent upon arriving at home two hours on the phone and customer service representatives from YUL were totally not helpful in solving the problem!"

Nadelen: "The crew kept the temperature in cabin at 26 or 28 degrees Celsius. Whole trip felt like being in the oven. I will NEVER EVER FLY AUSTRIAN AIRLINES AGAIN."

Nadelen: "No food, plane felt pretty old and not so clean. Smaller seats than the other flights I had with Lufthansa. Otherwise, it was fine. I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something."

Nadelen: "We are regularly taking this flight for end of the year snd in summer. For no reasons whatever if it is in France or in Vienna, the flight is delayed of minimum 2 hours! It was the case once more the case. And all without communication as it is normal! And it looks like this is normal as the flight from yesterday was also leaving at 19h05. This is a joke."

Nadelen: "very rocky,, too confined for such a long flight.thank you for a good lesson not to go austrian again"

Voordelen: "Efficient boarding, friendly crew, easy flight, on time arrival"

Nadelen: "Collation non adaptée au menu spéciaux demandés (vegan)"

Nadelen: "L’aéroport de Vienne qui ne dispose d’aucune aide pour les transferts : il faut trouver les panneaux bien cachés dans un labyrinthe... et 2 contrôles des bagages durant le transfert alors que nous arrivions d’un vol international."

Known traveler numbers (Glibal Entry) were not askrd at the time of online check in and ad a result, TSA Pre didnt show up on out boarding passes. Agent at the counter coulsnt dix it euther. Surprisingly, very disappointing breakfast."

Voordelen: "Crew on EWR to ARN was so-so. They lock restrooms at the back because they don't people hanging around the kitchen in the back. Also, the one cabin crew does not say Excuse Me when he needs to pass- he just touches you and pushes you aside Also, the one cabin crew"

Voordelen: "New, clean airplane with a friendly and professional crew. It was not as uncomfortable as some of the other airlines I've used, though eight hours in economy is still too much. I chose it in part because of the connection through Copenhagen, which I recommend for an overnight stay. Great city."

Voordelen: "Boarding was easy. The flight was smooth. It was a short flight (1.5 hours) so there was no food, but coffee, tea, water and juice was served."

Nadelen: "Everyone's breakfast was supposed to be an "egg and bacon" flavored wrap of some sort, but there was absolutely no egg or bacon flavor associated with it. The flavor of bacon is very distinctive. This thing's flavor and texture suggested some sort of very tasteless doughy material, with certainly nothing tasting like egg or bacon inside of it. Ugh."

Voordelen: "The total experience from check-in to disembark was extraordinary. The crew were beyond eager to please and extremely responsive. The food was hot and very tasted. The beverage selection was finominal. The cleanliness of the plane and restrooms, although the handle for one of the restrooms fell off the door."

Nadelen: "Only airline that made us check in our luggage; and charged us an exorbitant amount (+/- $90 per luggage) in doing so. No customer service at all. 1st attendant wouldn’t let us check-in at the counter, and 2nd attendant made us check in our carry-on despite it only being 2kg over. We could’ve moved some items around. When we boarded the plane, we saw multiple people whose carry-on looked suspiciously over the weight limit. We felt singled out. It was obvious that this airline only cares about profit and does not care about the customer. Attendants were rude and not helpful. Needless to say I will nit fly with this airline again."

Nadelen: "Rerouted without consultaton - added an extra leg to my trip including a necessary mad dash to catch the make-up flight."

Nadelen: "Was overlooked by the pursor a couple times - he probably had a lot on his plate. Also, the "snack" at the end of the trip was sorely lacking! Especially for a 7 hour flight. The bathrooms were gross & out of toilet paper. And it seemed like one was locked constantly...?"

Nadelen: "It was exceptionally on time. Very informative captain without being chatty. Crew was efficient but not very friendly. Food was tasty and sufficient."

Nadelen: "This has nothing directly with SAS, but since I experienced it during my flight there, they are responsible of it. I was waiting for the flight at the OSLO airport waiting for the flight to LONDON. I had ample time to work on my computer. In the big room by the gate there was only one spot where I found three electrical sockets hanging from a pillar or post. To my dismay none worked. My plug would fall off from each. To document, I took the pictures of the useless sockets... I complained to the lady at the boarding desk (she left before the SAS staff moved in), she did not even care... This experience frustrated me and turned an otherwise pleasant trip into a bitter one. Please install some working sockets in your waiting room! Not stand and fight to get food because your airline gives no snacks or drinks!! It's like entering prison for 2hrs"

Nadelen: "My 1st experience on SAS & everything was late: takeoff over an hour late, and upon arrival in CPH we were delayed again to exit the plane because they couldn't get the skyway door attached to the plane."

Nadelen: "I tried to change the return date, as my work schedule changed. And I was told it would cost me $1300. So I had to buy a whole new ticket and ended up not using my ticket bought on Kayak at all. Shame."

Nadelen: "Boarding... the first 20 or so rows were called then "All remaining passengers..." causing considerable pushing, etc. MUST board by sections, etc..."

Nadelen: "Had to pay 70 euro to check 1 bag at the airport!"

Nadelen: "My daughter was feeling nauseous the whole time. She pressed the button to ask for a moist towel but was ignored after much waiting; she pressed again, and more waiting came with no response. She got yelled at when she went to ask politely. I understand the crew can get busy but where is compassion for a customer in need?"

Nadelen: "Had to pay €70 to check in luggage - most expensive ive ever seen! No beverages other than coffee and tea abailable, water could be appreciated"

Nadelen: "SAS has one of the worst boarding procedures and not enforcing it. Flight was delayed an I almost lost my connection in CPH. and it has the narrowest legroom of all Star alliance flights. my flight from stockholm was delayed and there was a massive queue at border control and no SAS or CPH airport staff to organise to get PAX through faster so they dont miss their connection I had to fight my way through the queue otherwise I would have lost my connection"

Nadelen: "The plane landed much later than expected, and I missed my connecting flight to Moscow. While I was given another boarding pass, I had to have another layover in St. Petersburg, and fly to Moscow from there. The flight turned out to be much longer, and much more exhausting. My overall experience was unpleasant."

Voordelen: "Most Improved Player - Finnair has done the best experience in overall long haul flights out of the 40plus airlines I have flown in the last 3 years; brand new planes, nice and diverse cabin crew, beautiful lightings videos details chocolates etc, best entertainment system in the industry, and things always go smooth in Helsinki airport. Awesome imrpovement over recent years."
Nadelen: "Big struggle for airlines still remains varying quality customer service. Finnair still seems to struggle with this occasionally. Finnair can work harder to keep customer service quality high. Hate to say it, but perhaps letting the bitter, last generation flight attendants who seem to have a grudge about the decline of the glamour and benefits of the job as flying has become commonplace with more competition (seen this on Finnair & N America’s older airlines line United)"

Voordelen: "good service in spite of rather crammed conditions and short flight, UK newspaper was available, plenty of leg room (biz class consisting of one row in the front:))) - the lucky 4 in that 1st row were the only ones to get food, and also drink for free, it seems... and yes, the flight was short and otherwise uneventful, I was the 1st to walk off the plane."
Nadelen: "The plane was a tiny oldish commuter jet with 2 seats on each side of the aisle. In "biz class" you still had to rub elbows with your neighbor, something other airlines with newer planes have sorted out, but allowing extra space between seats.... but overall, for a short flight (not much longer than an average subway commute in NYC), it really was not a huge deal...."

Nadelen: "Sitting behind me plus the seat across from that in center was an adult with two children going to summer camp in US. There were 40 kids and several counselors on this flight. These two kids were much younger (4 or 5yrs) than any others going to camp. One of the kids could not sit still. The adult behind me sometimes held her in her lap which resulted in pushing on my seatback. While in her own seat the child did not have her seat belt on. Eventually the girl began using her arm rests on either side of the aisle to swing herself. I finally mentioned this and the lack of seat belt fastening to F.A. who said "They're from Latvia. These Eastern Europeans don't think about things the way you and I do." The child was blocking the aisle at times and the F.A. did nothing."

Voordelen: "Great gate and in-cabin crew. LOVED this flight."
Nadelen: "Nothing to report"

Nadelen: "Experience was totally let down by the airport; nothing to blame the aircraft staff though. Avoid Helsinki airport like the plague for stopovers: bad signage, woeful information how to get to the city efficiently in English. HORRIBLE experience when trying to get lost property: you got to PAY for your initial email or pay top dollar just for a stupid and aggravating phone call!!! The number of exclamation marks is not exaggerated here. You can't even ask if they even have the item in their possession. Rarely had such a bad experience at an airport, and I travel a lot for work. This alone makes me think thrice about EVER getting Finnair again. Same company that manages the airport, so I'm giving this flight a bad review."

Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"

Nadelen: "The flight departed late because the preceding inbound flight was late. No reason was given to the customers."

Voordelen: "Staff was nice, seats were comfortable unlike other flights I have been on the past two weeks."
Nadelen: "I think the pilot made a wrong turn and made erratic movements of the plane close to the end of the flight. Not sure what happened but it was a little scary."

Voordelen: "Everything, but especially the calming atmosphere with beautiful Spanish music playing while we were airing to take off."

Voordelen: "Finnair's Planes are high quality and standard. I am an Aircraft Mechanic, and frequently when boarding planes I try to look for bad repairs or bad maintenance. The Interior was clean, and the leg room in economy was absolutely excellent. The Staff was outstanding, and showed the utmost professionalism at all times."
Nadelen: "All my complaints are things neither Finnair nor the Crew could have helped. Turbulance was minor but constant. Some passengers rude enough to cut in front of the bathroom lines, and pretend not to comprehend English when they do. The Pork Dish and Breakfast dish were awful, however I recognize it isn't Finnish food, but a Korean variety. Two babies kept crying and screaming, for almost a solid 4 hours. I wasn't aware infants had the lung capacity or developed vocal chords to do such a feat. It also seemed like the parents were ignoring their babies not even trying to console them. Absolutely out of the hands of the staff, and I do not blame them for that. The only reason why the flight was so low, was simply because of things out of their hands. This is just a review of this specific flight, not the company itself."

Voordelen: "The staff were thoughtful and kind. They checked on us and offered snacks and water very regularly. My favorite, though, was that the captain took the time to alert us to the sights out the window. We had closed the shades at the request of the attendants and would have missed the beauty of Greenland had he not alerted us to peak out. I appreciate that!"

Voordelen: "Tiny turboprop. Ok flight."
Nadelen: "Was not allowed to bring standard-sized suitcase as carryon: it does not fit in the overhead. This means I had to check it to final destination which I do not like to do."

Nadelen: "did not get to Helsinki in first place; flight from Warsaw to Helsinki canceled by Finnair (# 742) put in another plane, from other provider (LOT) going straight to Chicago; was not ready for it; we arrived at airport 2 hr before time of boarding and were rushed to plane going up in 45 min; very stressful; my daughter cried and we had no time to say good bays to family paid for selected seats - money not returned selected special meal - stayed hungry (8 hr fly) because they were not aware about our special needs; Finnair shold take care of it when canceling flight and putting us with other provider."

Voordelen: "Plenty of food to eat. Snacks and lunch"
Nadelen: "Being vegetarian I chose the pasta entree. It was good. It included a small salad. All other food was carbs- bread, crackers, a packaged dessert, ice cream, pizza, muffin. ( The pizza was good the muffin was processed gross. ) I didn't eat all the items and still felt yucky from poor nutrition. A piece of fruit in place of muffin, dessert, crackers would help a lot."

Nadelen: "Food and drinks overpriced."

Voordelen: "Liked seat size and spacing on the Airbus - better than American 777"

Voordelen: "crew, food"
Nadelen: "Sat in row 53 of 55 rows, should have boarded in sections instead of everyone all at once. Could not sleep due to passenger behind kept jostling my backrest."

Voordelen: "Food was provided when the flight was delayed for 2 1/2 hours. I also really liked the text update from kayak about the delay. The airline did not keep me updated but kayak did."
Nadelen: "The delay when it was already a 6 hour flight. I also was not able to reserve a seat because I had booked through kayak and not with the airline. Finally of the most irritating of all annoyance was that there was no movie. This was an international flight and there was no entertainment. I will never fly American Airlines again."

Voordelen: "Friendly staff, frequent food, frequent drinks (including wine) included in price of fare."
Nadelen: "Boarding method. Should board people furthest from the front of coach first to avoid clogging of aisle."

Voordelen: "There was a flight attendant who was perfect for his career-absolutely the best ever on the Rome to Philadelphia flight-a tall, African American gentleman. So accommodating and friendly!"

Voordelen: "I had an empty seat beside me on both legs of my flight. This always makes flying more enjoyable. They fed us two meals both directions. There were pillows and blankets for everyone on your seat when you arrived."

Voordelen: "It was a British Airways flight, plane was large, and felt more roomy than what I'm used to. The service was impeccable."

Voordelen: "The onground staff at CDG was nice. The bus ride to the planes was not."
Nadelen: "Entertainment system does not work. Since this is a technical aspect about the airplane that I CAN judge, I wonder about the parts that are invisible to me. Are these planes actually air worthy?"

Nadelen: "had to be bussed to different part of airport to board plane no sound on the entertainment console"

Nadelen: "We were unable to find a row of seats to more comfortably facilitate traveling with a baby and a toddler as seats that should have had a cot or extra seating didn't have the cot and were sold out for an additional fee before we had the chance to. Discussing this with the staff at check0in and at the gate, made no difference as they had no knowledge of what was available on that particular flight. Every time I fly with American I'm reminded of why I don't like the airline and I will do my best to avoid them moving forward regardless of competitive ticket pricing."

Voordelen: "It was a comfortable, professionally (British Airways) managed flight at a good price."

Nadelen: "No leg room"

Nadelen: "There was a very poor selection of movies to watch:( Last tim ei flew AA, and there was an absolutely huge choice . . . Would love to see that improved . . I think you have to cater for all tastes . . . and that definitely was not the case on my flight"

Nadelen: "No maps on the screen in front of me. Not the best selection of comedy TV shows. No veggie option for Vegans."

Nadelen: "Enough of LOT. For a couple hundred bucks more you get a much better trip. LOT is the no frills discount line."

Nadelen: "We took off and landed an hour late than planned. Since we came-in late we waited additional two hours until we were able to get off"

Nadelen: "At check in the website did not allow me to purchase checked baggage. I arrived at the airport and paid 80 Euros to check in my 12kilo bag. I bought I would be proactive and pay for the baggage for my return(only 20 euros). I received only a receipt for the 20 euros, but paid 63,250 drams. Something is shady and I feel duped. The flight was over an hour late with no explanation. There was a plane at the gate when we landed, which added to the tardiness of arrival. They were so non Chalant about so many people missing their connecting flights. It was like they already knew they were going to put us on Lufthansa 2 hours later... polish airlines Is awful- the airport personnel even worse. No one respects standing in line. Airport officials kept cutting into the security lines which literally cost me the 5 minutes that I could have made the flight. I am very diasspointed and kayak should not advertise this airline."

Nadelen: "Still waiting for our luggage two hours after deplaning. The luggage has not been unloaded from the plane. Hundreds of people still waiting This is unacceptable"

Nadelen: "Extremely cramped seats, late and almost didn't make connection, buses back and forth the whole way, jerky drivers."

Nadelen: "In Warsaw they took us by bus in a snow storm in freezing cold. They left us standing on an open bus in minus temperatures for 30 minutes instead of sending a few buses to take us to the plane."

Nadelen: "Messed up security clearance arrangement. Total confusion about secondary clearance requirement, only informed at boarding at gate that a lot of travelers needed secondary clearance. No objections to secondary clearance, but procedure a joke. Machine was half way down the terminal. Half hour wait, and you could have left your carry on with somebody else, get cleared by machine, pick up your bag again and get on board."

Voordelen: "The in-flight food service was perfectly fine. I also thought the entertainment options were of good quality. Perhaps a bit limited but there were movie options for a variety of tastes, including mine!"
Nadelen: "The seating was rather cramped. I'm 6'4 so I'm used to the lack of space however my neighbors on this flight were highly inconsiderate of all neighboring passengers. Rather than help with the situation the cabin crew seemed to take special delight in crashing into my knees. Combine that with a steady barrage of hip checks to my left shoulder and this was a bruising flight."

Voordelen: "Ik kan eigenlijk niet echt objectief een beoordeling geven want ik werk voor deze maatschappij dus vind uiteraard alles fantastisch (behalve het salaris haha)."

Voordelen: "I book this flight months in advance and got a really good deal. Everything was really good, crew was pleasant food was pretty good, which is rare in the air. Airplane was clean and the bathrooms dint stink. Entertainment was very good, loved it that I could find good Russian comedies. Seats were really comfy, I slept for the first time in a plane. Really recommend this airlines"

Nadelen: "The airport wasn't ready to except foreigners. The personal at customs hardly could communicate in English, always switching to Polish. The custom officer forgot return transfer ticket. So, I had in no time to ask at the check point tofi s my name in the list and give me another tickets. It was very stressful."

Voordelen: "There was an incident with a passenger. He had an emergency and the plane went back to Berlin and got him an ambulance. From my point of view, if it wasn't for the Doctor (passenger) on board, he wouldn't have made it. It could've been anybody, even me or my friend traveling with me so, Great job! Congratulations to the Pilot and all the crew!"
Nadelen: "WE tried to Check in online and it gave us a bit of trouble. I think it was because of the connecting flight, it kept checking us in to the second flight but not the first one."

Nadelen: "Flight was late by an hour"

Nadelen: "We did have to sit on the tarmac for about 1/2 hour upon arrival in Chicago."
