Nadelen: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Nadelen: "Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Entertainment totally outdated ! Unresponsive screen"

Voordelen: "Things went as planned in the beginning. The young lady who checked me in at the BA counter was very friendly and helpful. The preboarding and boarding went very smoothly as well."
Nadelen: "The plane boarded as usual then things went wrong. There was apparently something that went wrong with furl getting into a separate storage tank (that's scary in itself...how does that happen?) and they announced that they couldn't get the fuel tank to fill completely and the mechanics needed to get a "special tool" to complete the process. Then they needed some "tool" to drain the fuel from the mysterious storage tank. That was done and they announced that they had decided that they had plenty of fuel to make it to Denver. An hour and a half later of sitting in a sweltering hot cabin the y announced that the mechanical issues were taken care of BUT we'd have to wait another 20 minutes to take off because of the traffic waiting to leave Heathrow."

Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful cabin crew, even on this short flight. I liked the fact that the Captain stood outside the flight deck to say goodbye to the passengers. A nice touch."

Voordelen: "Do the upgrade if its available!"

Nadelen: "long delays between segments of the flight however the business class BA lounge was excellent . Entertainment systems on the 747 aircraft are getting dated"

Voordelen: "Very professional and friendly employees. Someone fainted in our cabin and the crew members took very professional care and offered the passenger oxygen."
Nadelen: "Very packed cabin, offered us just a sandwich after the first main meal."

Voordelen: "Food was decent and they came back to offer us another drink."
Nadelen: "Plane was old and dated. No usb or outlets to charge any devices on a 10.5 hour flight. Also seating was small and cramped. I wish there was a way to automatically get an isle seat or emergency row seat if you are over 6ft tall."

Voordelen: "My baggages were delivered to my residence the next day intact"
Nadelen: "After landing at DENVER I was at Baggage Claim Area. As instructed at the time of Boarding at Chennai. A British Airways staff asked to show my Baggage tag and Boarding Pass. After seeing it he said your baggage have to be claimed at DALLAS and not at DENVER. Kindly rush as time is short. MAYBE HIS INTENTION WAS GOOD. He must of thought that it will get delayed if I have to claim baggage and proceed for connection as the flight was delayed."

Voordelen: "Doordat wij op het bovendeks zaten konden we meteen boarden. Vriendelijke purser die overal de tijd voor nam."
Nadelen: "Doordat 3 mensen zich niet gemeld hadden, zaten er 4 koffers te veel aan boord. Ga maar met de hand zoeken met 15 Afrikaanse mensen in een A389."

Voordelen: "747s are good stable planes in flight"
Nadelen: "The greatest problem was dealing with the usual chaos and discomfort of traveling through Heathrow airport. Primitive and time-consuming transportation system between terminals- Had to ride overcrowded buses packed with so many people that your body was pressed against your neighbor. Inadequate number of restrooms and poor signage to find them. Bad selection of restaurants. Then at the terminal, boarding time listed as 10:40, but they did not even announce the boarding gate until 10:40. Then a 10 minute ride on another overcrowded bus to the plane which you had to board by a staircase (and a staircase to the door on a 747 is no small thing!) Although flight was smooth in the air, the pilot landed so "hard" I thought the landing gear must have been damaged!"

Voordelen: "NA"
Nadelen: "The transfer from T5 to T3 was chaotic. Queues to join queues to get the transfer bus. People were getting caught on a moving escalator because the crowd in front had nowhere they could go to make room. Extremely dangerous! It took longer to get from T5 to T3 than it did to get from Dublin to London. Boarding in T3 for the flight to Denver was almost as bad. Bodies everywhere, no organisation and no help. Then the aircraft itself was so old with uncomfortable seats and an almost unwatchable screen. I will never transit through LHR again."

Voordelen: "Good"

Voordelen: "On-time/early arrival, relatively communicative staff who also provided timely service. Bags delayed upon final destination."
Nadelen: "Seating became uncomfortable after so many hours. Boarding times long. Staff was at time over the top with their checks."

Voordelen: "I liked the fact that the customer service on board was pretty spectacular & very clean bathrooms."
Nadelen: "It was extremely warm throughout the flight and the seats weren’t too comfortable."

Voordelen: "Everything"

Nadelen: "transfer from terminal 5 to terminal 3 - process was unclear"

Voordelen: "Meal from Lagos to London was good"
Nadelen: "I don't know why spray was used on Lagos flight to London and London flight to Denver no spray."

Voordelen: "Scum bags wanted >$5k to change flights, daylight robbery"

Voordelen: "Checking documents on entering gate area rather than at boarding time, made for more efficient boarding"
Nadelen: "Delay in baggage reclaim due blockage in system"

Nadelen: "Once again just some measly pretzels."

Nadelen: "very little food! chairs r too tight and tv screens r rediculously small... no usb adaptors to charge ur phone, no toilette seat covers!"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Nothing was impressive at all"

Voordelen: "Extended information from the captain was very nice"

Voordelen: "British Airways code share is always nice"
Nadelen: "Older 747 not quite as nice as the Dreamliner but it made it!"

Voordelen: "Fight was on time. BA Crew always do a nice job."
Nadelen: "The entertainment on the flight didn't work. It is not easy to have two small kids on a 9 hour flight when the entertainment system isn't working properly. We did bring our own items to entertain our kids but with the limitations on what you can carry on we were banking on them being able to use the in flight system."

Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Voordelen: "Al parts of flight expertly handled by staff, especially cabin people. Thanks for a great flight, VA."

Nadelen: "Weinig te eten weinig te drinken voor zo'n lange vlucht. Geen geluid op entertainment"

Voordelen: "I'd like to mention Ramon, a crew member on the flight, who was extremely helpful and kind. Also, the food was quite good."

Voordelen: "The first class steward who helped us when he didn't need too. The free films."
Nadelen: "I flew British Air in the past and had excellent service. I actually would have paid a bit more to choose them as an airline. No longer! Horrible service. Our stewardess was rude and unhelpful. Best example, when my husband turned in the remains of his last meal, something had leaked over his tray table. She didn't bother to help. He luckily had some extra napkins. She watched him clean it up and then left without taking the soiled napkins. Thanks. The meal quality was poor on the international flight. American handled the start of our vacation. Such a superior international flight quality compare to British Air."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "They wouldn't book is into our flight from a different terminal causing is to miss the flighr"

Voordelen: "Service, comfort"
Nadelen: "They lost my bag due to flying a 3rd party "Vueling" and did not add my FF# and would not do it at the airport so now I have to sort through online pages and phone queues to do something that definitely should have been feasible and included at airport (I added it on my outbound flight but because of this 3rd party being the originating operator of my return flight it was not included on my return)."

Voordelen: "upgrade"

Nadelen: "Antiquated and glitchy entertainment system on the 747-400"

Voordelen: "Crew were attentive and competent."
Nadelen: "The food was just not very good which is a bummer since it was a long flight."

Voordelen: "Flight on time. Seats/pillows/blankets were clean. The crew was professional - high quality interaction that makes the difference between BA and other airlines. (other airline crews can be abrupt, rude, ignore passengers, especially with getting water outside of service times, standing while waiting to use lavatories, etc.)"
Nadelen: "Some garbage from prior flight in seat pockets of 2 seats we occupied. Entertainment system is a bit clunky, film choice not very good."

Voordelen: "Fantastic chicken curry! Best airline food EVER! Nice stewardesses too....."
Nadelen: "I suppose I expected a slightly bigger toilet on a 747, but no biggie."

Voordelen: "I liked the polite and friendly manner of the flight attendants."
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed for over an hour after boarding, and the temperature was uncomfortably warm. Even after takeoff, it took several hours for the temperature to cool down to normal. I have not experienced this before and wonder why it took so long to cool. All of the passengers around me were complaining of the heat.."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Our British Airways flights were cancelled going & returning on the trip. This resulted in rebooking in both directions, at different points in the trip. The cancellation on the return trip was extremely inconvenient since we didn't have a phone to contact BA. After wondering the airport on the day of our departure, for a BA representative that could help, we were directed to a ticket sales office. Then after waiting for another one (1) hour in a line, the BA representative rebooked our return flights. This was not a good way to start or end a trip!"

Voordelen: "Crew was great."
Nadelen: "turbulence"

Voordelen: "1st class flight attendant sat through the entire flight (except for offering drinks and food early in flight). There were passengers NOT wearing masks through the flight but she wouldn't know that since she never left her seat"
Nadelen: "just about everyting"

Nadelen: "IFE was not streaming movies, WiFi on but not loading"

Nadelen: "Spacing people out until this covid is over"

Nadelen: "Short flight, would have appreciated if when asking for pretzels the flaggt attendant didn't hand me the spare bag of his pockets."

Voordelen: "Everything was great"
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "Appreciated the pilot keeping us informed re: turbulence and avoiding it"

Voordelen: "I loved everything! Best flight experience in a long time. Really easy, on time, great window seat, thank you"
Nadelen: "Me probably. You guys were excellent!"

Nadelen: "Not allowed unleashed dogs to take my seat or be in my flight"

Nadelen: "Sat waiting for gate for 30 min"

Voordelen: "Horrible staff at LAX boarding gate. Been treated horribly by incompetent and rude AA staff."
Nadelen: "Hire only friendly people for this type of job. Hire people knows basic math. Train their well on how to communicate with people."

Nadelen: "The plane had a mechanical issue that they needed to address (due to the fact that they prior crew did not address it) and we sat in the gate for 2 hours waiting. No worries water was offered by crew and the flight had no food."

Nadelen: "Flight got delayed. We paid for assigned seating for our almost 85 yo mom. And the change in flight no one asked for to get seated in the front of plane. Instead she was seated all the way in the back. It was physically exhausting for her."

Voordelen: "Crew bemoeide zich op deze korte vlucht met niemand. Bracht wat te drinken rond. Verder niet."

Voordelen: "The notifications regarding my connection and baggage claim."
Nadelen: "Nothing."

Voordelen: "Crew was great"
Nadelen: "Absolutely no accommodation for seat assignments and the lady at the gate was so rude for even just asking to sit next to my fiancé even though there were tons of single people on the flight."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was fine."
Nadelen: "The gate change was not announced on my phone app (changed from E7 to D49). I hate leaving out of Terminal E at MIA. There is no point to having TSA Pre-Check if you have to stand in line with people who don't have it. I have to remove my liquids and laptop. It's such a shabby, run-down terminal."

Voordelen: "Crew was nice"
Nadelen: "Not enough leg room. They did a gate change and I almost missed the flight because nothing was announced and when I looked at my phone app it had the previous gate."

Voordelen: "Overhead bins were newly done with plenty of space since carryon can be placed vertical on side. Decide holder built into the seat was very nice."

Voordelen: "Nice staff"

Voordelen: "Pleasent"

Voordelen: "Pretty standard flight"
Nadelen: "Inconvenient timing and overcrowded with obnoxious children sitting on laps. No attempts made to change their behavior by crew or parents."

Voordelen: "The plane looks like new. Great seats, phone and tablet holders at the seat back, USB outlet and a smooth flight."
Nadelen: "The WiFi did not work and so no entertainment for a flight of almost 4 hours."

Nadelen: "3+ hour flight with no TV/ entertainment"

Voordelen: "Not using kayak."
Nadelen: "Worst flights in history. It took three days to get from Italy to the US. Do not use kayak!"

Voordelen: "Our plane was given to another group going to Orlando so we were delayed almost 4 hours. This after a 5 hour layover."
Nadelen: "Gate lady was funny about being pissed about the delay."

Nadelen: "Didn't like the two hour delay, especially when I was notified only a half hour before boarding! This seems to be a normal thing for American Airlines."

Voordelen: "De stewardessen in t vliegtuig waren erg aardig en hulpvaardig"
Nadelen: "Nieuwe regels waarbij je je koffertje onder je stoel moet plaatsen of extra moet betalen om hem in de ruimte boven je hoofd te mogen plaatsen. Er is wel 5x gevraagd of ik wel zeker wist dat die van mij onder mijn stoel paste!!"

Voordelen: "They got us there quickly."

Voordelen: "Ahead of schedule"

Voordelen: "Seats were too tight and too close together."

Voordelen: "Movie and tv selection was good. Boarding was a cinch, we took off exactly on time, seats were comfortable, too."
Nadelen: "Airline misplaced my boyfriend's checked back with our duty free Portuguese wine in it. It still hasn't been delivered to him the next day. They had three hours to get the bag on the flight."

Voordelen: "Nothing in particular"
Nadelen: "Outlet did not work"

Nadelen: "Flight crew was late and didn’t try and make things move faster to make up time. Kept saying they wanted to go Puerto Rico and that’s where they should have been going."

Voordelen: "Same"

Nadelen: "Everything. Had to sleep overnight in airport and was late coming home."

Nadelen: "This one attendant didn't get her name but was very cold to me"

Nadelen: "Good service to switch flight pattern from greenville to new bern but still a delay that cause a 2 flight connection. Lots of on-line issues with check-in, overall a stressful day, hopefully it will all work out!"

Voordelen: "More improved than the last trip I took with AA to Denver. Efficient boarding."

Nadelen: "We sat on the runway for 3.5 hours while the crew cleaned up a fuel spill and we waited for a different co-pilot."

Voordelen: "Flight not entirely sold out. So they let my 14 month grandson have an empty seat between my daughter and I. That was a great gift since he doesn't sleep and is jumping and crawling all over the place. And I'm sure the other passengers were breathing sighs of relief!! Also super smooth landing and nice flight attendants."
Nadelen: "Flying with an active 14 month old toddler boy and of his "stuff" is nothing less than anxiety provoking. Not much the airline can do.."

Voordelen: "Crew"
Nadelen: "Had to board three times, two different planes. I understand mechanical problems, but 3 hours later, and on another plane, the captain starts making stuff up, saying that the only reason we hadn't moved in the last hour was because people were using the bathroom, then something about having to deplane because the plane couldn't back up with us on it because of some sensor? And then, surprise ! All of the sudden they noticed there was an issue with his and some of the crews' hours and we had to wait till they could locate more crew. But they gave us each a 1/3 glass of water and later a $12 food voucher which didn't even cover a meal and beverage. Whoop-de-do. 7 hours later we finally boarded for the third and last time. The crew on the other hand stayed professional and friendly."

Nadelen: "Seats too small and the gentleman next to me was a big guy so crowded over into my seat some."
