Nadelen: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Nadelen: "Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

There was apparently something that went wrong with furl getting into a separate storage tank (that's scary in itself...how does that happen?) and they announced that they couldn't get the fuel tank to fill completely and the mechanics needed to get a "special tool" to complete the process. Then they needed some "tool" to drain the fuel from the mysterious storage tank. That was done and they announced that they had decided that they had plenty of fuel to make it to Denver. An hour and a half later of sitting in a sweltering hot cabin the y announced that the mechanical issues were taken care of BUT we'd have to wait another 20 minutes to take off because of the traffic waiting to leave Heathrow."
Voordelen: "Friendly and helpful cabin crew, even on this short flight. I liked the fact that the Captain stood outside the flight deck to say goodbye to the passengers. A nice touch."

Nadelen: "After landing at DENVER I was at Baggage Claim Area. As instructed at the time of Boarding at Chennai. A British Airways staff asked to show my Baggage tag and Boarding Pass. After seeing it he said your baggage have to be claimed at DALLAS and not at DENVER. Kindly rush as time is short. MAYBE HIS INTENTION WAS GOOD. He must of thought that it will get delayed if I have to claim baggage and proceed for connection as the flight was delayed."

Nadelen: "The greatest problem was dealing with the usual chaos and discomfort of traveling through Heathrow airport. Primitive and time-consuming transportation system between terminals- Had to ride overcrowded buses packed with so many people that your body was pressed against your neighbor. Inadequate number of restrooms and poor signage to find them. Bad selection of restaurants. Then at the terminal, boarding time listed as 10:40, but they did not even announce the boarding gate until 10:40. Then a 10 minute ride on another overcrowded bus to the plane which you had to board by a staircase (and a staircase to the door on a 747 is no small thing!) Although flight was smooth in the air, the pilot landed so "hard" I thought the landing gear must have been damaged!"
Nadelen: "The transfer from T5 to T3 was chaotic. Queues to join queues to get the transfer bus. People were getting caught on a moving escalator because the crowd in front had nowhere they could go to make room. Extremely dangerous! It took longer to get from T5 to T3 than it did to get from Dublin to London. Boarding in T3 for the flight to Denver was almost as bad. Bodies everywhere, no organisation and no help. Then the aircraft itself was so old with uncomfortable seats and an almost unwatchable screen. I will never transit through LHR again."

We did bring our own items to entertain our kids but with the limitations on what you can carry on we were banking on them being able to use the in flight system."
Voordelen: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Our stewardess was rude and unhelpful. Best example, when my husband turned in the remains of his last meal, something had leaked over his tray table. She didn't bother to help. He luckily had some extra napkins. She watched him clean it up and then left without taking the soiled napkins. Thanks. The meal quality was poor on the international flight. American handled the start of our vacation. Such a superior international flight quality compare to British Air."

(other airline crews can be abrupt, rude, ignore passengers, especially with getting water outside of service times, standing while waiting to use lavatories, etc.)"

I have not experienced this before and wonder why it took so long to cool. All of the passengers around me were complaining of the heat.."
Nadelen: "Our British Airways flights were cancelled going & returning on the trip. This resulted in rebooking in both directions, at different points in the trip. The cancellation on the return trip was extremely inconvenient since we didn't have a phone to contact BA. After wondering the airport on the day of our departure, for a BA representative that could help, we were directed to a ticket sales office. Then after waiting for another one (1) hour in a line, the BA representative rebooked our return flights. This was not a good way to start or end a trip!"

Nadelen: "Flight got delayed. We paid for assigned seating for our almost 85 yo mom. And the change in flight no one asked for to get seated in the front of plane. Instead she was seated all the way in the back. It was physically exhausting for her."

Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

Nadelen: "Didn't like the two hour delay, especially when I was notified only a half hour before boarding! This seems to be a normal thing for American Airlines."

Première fois que je vois tout un équipage aussi peu professionnel, indélicat et qui ne passe pas en dehors des repas. Le repas a été servi et le débarrassage 5 min après. Pas de nettoyage des toilettes pendant les 12heures de vol. Les hôtesses étaient trop occupées à papoter à l’arrière de l’avion. En tant de covid c’est inadmissible. Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et ne la prendrais plus jamais !"

Voordelen: "A quick, quiet and relaxing flight - no stress at all. The flight was uneventful. My carry on bag had to be stored in the bottom of the aircraft as the overhead lockers in the aircraft are small. As such - just before you board the aircraft, you place your carryon bag at the bottom of the steps and then when you get off at your destination, you collect your carry on bag at the bottom of the steps - no time wasted and worked easily."
Nadelen: "The English announcements were a little hard to hear/understand as the flight attendant read it so fast - but then again - it was a short flight - so every second counts :-)"

Nadelen: "Very small plane, so much turbulence during flight. It was the worst."
Voordelen: "Good was decent. Didn’t need to schlep big bag of snacks."
Nadelen: "Turbulence lasted way too long. Probably out of their control but I wondered if they could have changed altitudes."

Voordelen: "Loved the staff. As far as my experience flying Iberia for the first time is concerned, the the staff was very attentive and courteous. The food was not bad either as it was pretty good and included many beverage options. Would like to see how they do for flights lasting longer than 8 hours. Mine was only about 5 and a half hours from Madrid to Tel Aviv."

Nadelen: "Boarding is a mess, too many special groups, and then the masses get in and it just becomes a zoo inside the plane. There are so many charges, flying these days is really not better than taking a local bus."

Nadelen: "To be honest, i feel like your pricing is very misleading. I was not prepared to pay $60 per bag in luggage fees. For an international flight, I believe your site should be much more clear in stating whether the fees paid will include luggage or not. I will consider other options in the future to avoid this unpleasant surprise at the airport."
Nadelen: "We were charged 100 Euros extra as they indicated the 2 pieces laugage was not included. They didn't respect the seats that where assigned in the reservation claiming we jus reserved the sits but didng pay for them."

Voordelen: "I had a problem finding ticket number for a return ticket. It took an hour at boarding but Iberia rep. found it and saved the day. She really cared and got the job done. Can't say enough about this Argentine rep. Also this was an international flight and they did Not hassle us about the weight of our carry on. Last year Etihad weighed our purses with a bathroom scale at the door of the aircraft. Outrageous. Slowed boarding for over an hour and cost passengers an average of $150 - $320."
Nadelen: "Food was terrible all around. Didn't pass out water during 11 hour flight and all the "good" movies didn't load."
Nadelen: "My flight was cancelled because of the error of the travel agency to book enough time for me to connect to my flight so I was stranded in Manchester."

Nadelen: "I went jfk to mallorca through Madrid. Upon arrival to Madrid the passport control was 2hrs so we and a lot of other people missed connections. At the Iberia counter we were put on the next flight out to mallorca, that seemed to be no problem (FYI bags will be late and you may too since iBeria ‘must’ keep thee on time global record) , other than our bags came a day later. UPON arriving 20 days later for our return trip they said our return trip was cancelled because of a ‘no show’ on our original inbound trip. They said they had no proof we were on the next flight and asked for our Receipts to prove it. Said we had to buy new tickets, after 2 hrs, crying, yelling and most of Iberia telling us there was nothing they could do (told us to call BA since they were the co share for them) we finally got a high enough supervisor and they put us on the return flights. I’m sure we would have had to buy new tix if the flights were full. Have been overseas many times and this never happened. Will not use a 3rd party online ticket agency again- will go direct to airline, and not Iberia."

The agent in the counter claimed that they could do that because was "legal to overbook". One of the agents at the gate when I went to get my seat indicated that I paid for a "cheap ticket" and that I should take whatever seat they have left. I was given 46E. I was thrown my food on my table. I asked for the pasta option because I do not eat beef. She said: "That's what we have, we do not have more food. You are flying economy class". I was mistreated badly."

Nadelen: "Before boarding, crew member had each of us throw our carry on luggage through a hole in the wall (no, they didn't help), down a chute (yeah, a slide... not a motorized belt or anything), watching our luggage hit the ones below. No one was below to catch them, and we saw them slamming into each other, some falling on the ground. Highly disturbing!"
