Nadelen: "I nearly missed my connecting flight because of how poorly organized Ataturk airport is. Disembarking was extremely time consuming; there were few signs instructing connecting passengers where to go; and the employees of the airport were extremely unhelpful and gave conflicting information. I made my flight with only minutes to spare after going through two security and passport checkpoints and sprinting an entire wing of the airport. I will never fly through Ataturk (or anywhere in Turkey) again."

Boarding was chaotic - a full flight crammed into a departure lounge with far too few seats. There were many families trying to board and the staff could barely cope."

If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Voordelen: "Turkish had several flights departing close In time and they only had three agents at the check in counter, makin* the process painful at 4:30am. After on hour in line only about 10 passenger seat were checked in. By th way all the security screening procedures ran very smooth and quick, it was Turkish procesdures and man powe4 that was poor. Boarding the airplanes was chaos, both in Tel Aviv and Istanbul."
Nadelen: "Very little was done to impress the passengers from check in, boarding, airplanes were old and peach between seats small."

Nadelen: "The priority for boarding. Disabled passengers should board first. In Istanbul they take your boarding card and hold it. There has to be a better system."

Nadelen: "The airport staff in Istanbul was horrible. Wouldn't help find the gate until the last second. After arriving in JFK. We're stuck on plane on tarmac for 3.5 hours "waiting for a gate" unacceptable."

Voordelen: "The crew members were very accommodating and friendly. They do a wonderful job. When I told them that the power was not working in my seat and that I needed it for my CPAP (I call it my anti-snoring device), they arranged for me to move to another seat where the power worked for the CPAP. When the power did not work in the new seat for my laptop, they offered to let me charge it in a more powerful outlet near the galley."
Nadelen: "The power didn't work for my laptop. It did work for my CPAP device. Some of the seat control buttons were out of order."
Voordelen: "New airplane was comfortable and clean. Food was just okay."
Nadelen: "We had to transit in Addis (connecting from Dakar) and the whole experience of going through the Addis airport, getting the voucher for the hotel, and going to the hotel was horrible: it took forever going through immigration and getting a simple stamp on the voucher (the latter an unsafe experience and time consuming, with hundreds of people piled up to get those stamps from just two people, crashing again each other, with no order, no lines). Somewhat there has to be a better way to manage this and make the experience safer and more comfortable to everybody. For instance, just enforcing to stay in line and organizing the lines would have saved everybody a lot of time and effort."

Nadelen: "Flight ET365 was scheduled to leave Djibouti at 19:00 but did not leave until 23:30, without any screen information or by the Ethiopian Airlines staff at JIB airport how long the delay would be or if the flight was completely cancelled. Extremely unprofessional and ignorant handling of the situation"

Nadelen: "Restrooms on board was dirty, no toilette paper nor tissues. One fight attendant was particularly impolite, hitting and pushing instead of asking"
Voordelen: "I liked they’re fury free in flight shopping, very nice affordable pieces of jewelry and perfumes"
Nadelen: "They weighed my carryon! I haven’t seen any other airline do that before. I flew with them 3 times this year, 13 hour each flight and the entertainment was not the best. They didn’t have enough current movies or tv shows. The food was bland. Coffee cups were plastic and it burnt my finger."

Nadelen: "The landing was terrible and quite dangerous. It was a lopsided and the plane was about to tip forward when we hit the ground. I was quite disturbed on arrival. I’m glad to say the we were lucky that webdid not have an unfortunate incident."
Voordelen: "Staff was pretty helpful and you could mostly get what you needed if you didn't mind going back to the galley for it."
Nadelen: "Boarding was literally unsafe (too many people going down an escalator into too small an area). Terribly bland food. Buttons on the seat rest too easy to push accidentally (for things like the light or to call a flight attendant)."
Nadelen: "Spent 10 hours in a broken seat... wouldn’t recline. Screen on next seat was broken so I couldn’t move there. Bathroom out of toilet paper and at the end of the flight there was SO MUCH TRASH AND STUFF EVERYWHERE it looked like the ground at an outside 3 day concert. I’ve never seen such a filthy plane. And the food needs improvement."

Nadelen: "Flight was uncomfortable. They forgot my food and drink. The attendant sneezed on me without covering her mouth, my tv didn't work. The plane was dirty. I asked to be moved up to any of the 10 open seats in business and they said they can't. It was actually one of the worst flights I've ever taken anywhere in my life."
Nadelen: "That the Airline choose to take Russsian paid load, cargo. And decided to off load the Luggage of 25 passengers. Some of them even had connecting Flights. Luggage tags were not matching with the names, so it became difficult to actually track the bags. Not funny..."

Nadelen: "Toilets always get messy because there are many people flying for the first time and some using a public toilet (or even flush toilet) for first time ever. They need instructions in the bathroom for how to use the toilet, how to keep it clean, how to dispose of trash, how to flush toilet paper, etc. If fly all over the world, but every time I fly from Africa it's the same mess, regardless of airline. Simple instructions would help - they cannot assume all of their clients have used flush toilets when over 80% of Africans do not have them."

Voordelen: "The crew was very nice, beer on the flight is always a nice touch , plenty of food and beverages. Nice collection of movies and music. Food is OK. We had a 10 Hour connection at Addis Ababba, and we were provided with a city tour at the first time, and hotel at the second. I liked the Injira :)"
Nadelen: "Overall, it's kinda depressing to fly with Ethiopian, the whole experience, from the colors of the uniforms, to the big African people, there was not enough room to seat next to other person, we and some people we met on the flight experienced the same thing. Addis Ababba was very not welcoming, we had a small tour at the city, the people are aggressive, we heard a lot of "farengie" all the time - "foreigners", everything was very expensive, because tourist have a lot of money... they are not afraid to touch you, even at the face. if somebody offers you guiding, they will ask for money later on and will take you to expensive places."
Nadelen: "Addis airport is a disaster, Really long queues and badly organised, Our flight left 20 minutes late and in turn made our landing 1 hour later. The flight attendants on Ethiopian air are very lazy, they dont respond to the service button been pushed, and their English is not that good,"
Nadelen: "The person at the check in counter initially gave me a different seat than the one I chose online but changed it after I asked for the same seat I had selected online, hone of the worst seats on theplanee also changed my seat for the addis ababa to manila leg without my knowlege and gave me one of the worst seats on the plane. Ruined the trip for me"
Nadelen: "Played a kids movie... I don't even think there was a kid on the plane. Everything about this flight had me feeling i wouldn't want to fly on Ethiopian again. Bad experience. Same as the flight above. Terrible food."
Voordelen: "I flew on the 787 dreamliner, and it was THE BEST airplane I have ever flown on. The service was excellent and the seats were very comfortable. I highly recommend this."

We have to board the plane in a different gate not the gate we were supposed to use hence causing alot of unneccesary movement which was tiresome. I hope there will be improvement in the future on this timing issues. This is not my first experience but 2nd one"

Nadelen: "Terrible communication about delays and cancelations. You have to be very proactive in telling them what to do. They almost put me on a flight where I would miss my connection by 9 hours and then would have to wait 18 hours for my next flight. I was late for a family emergency. You can't rely on any website you have to call for updates and are lucky if someone picks up. I feel bad for the staff."

Voordelen: "Crew was friendly and efficient. Seats and food were fine. Flight was smooth and on schedule.. Generous free checked baggage. Rare today!"
Nadelen: "Boarding was a bit chaotic with passengers made to wait in the jcorridor for 10-15 minutes until boarding continued. Board when the bus is waiting and plane doors are open! On board my 787 flight, the tray tables were very hard to close, the entertainment system didn’t work, and the bathroom, while not filthy, could have been a little cleaner."

Nadelen: "The ticket refused for me to board the plane say my credit card declined just to find out later that my card was good but she was wrong. And not only that I miss the flight but now they're charging me $250 extra."
Nadelen: "There was a seven hour delay. No explanation provided. Agents at CMN were rude and unhelpful. In the original flight I had selected an aisle seat but somehow ended up in the middle. My whole rows TVs didn’t work and no one helped us or cared (contrasted to Singapore Airlines which actually cared when a similar issue happened). Customs forms were all in French even though we were flying into JFK. Awful airlines."

Une fois arrrivee au comptoir d’enregistrement après avoir fait la queue, la compagnie a exigé que j’aille retirer ma carte d’embarquement a la machine et que je refasse ensuite la queue. J’ai été d’autant plus énervée que je savais par avance que la machine ne pourrait pas me délivrer ma carter d’embarquement, car j’ai un visa qui bloque toujours l’enregistrement en ligne et aux machines. L’employé du comptoir n’a rien voulu entendre et m’a fait perdre mon temps."

Many seats were assigned to 2 peoples... Yelling and loud on plane. Many missed their connection. Passengers were not happy at all"
Nadelen: "The flight was delayed for 5 hours and the plane was older then me, it was so crappy. The food was the worst, everything is cold and tasteless, worst airplane ever. In conclusion it was the worst flight i ever token."

Poor cold snak : local too salty cheese, very common white bread instead of local tasty one, poor choice of unsliced fruits , cold croissant and numerous noisy staff watching an egyptian football game on the only open TV screen."

Ça été très long avant de pouvoir avoir accès à l'application de divertissement, rien ne fonctionnait. Lorsque cela a été fonctionnel mes écouteurs jouaient très faible et grichait énormément."

Nadelen: "The plane was eventually delayed by two hours (incrementally, of course) with staff on the ground not only making zero effort to provide an explanation, but, additionally, when asked, they were incredibly rude. One young lady in particular rolled her eyes and indicated that we should look at the screen when we asked what time we should leave - eventually she was so rude to customers with children who were complaining about the delays that she got up and walked away from her post at the gate. Her colleagues later suggested that if people wanted to complain they should walk to a destination within Tunis airport that ultimately had no representatives - let alone facilities - through which we could lodge our complaints about the lack of communication with passengers who are paying for such shoddy service."
Voordelen: "Our flight was at 17;00 and when we check in our luggage’s it’s shows a delay on the screen till 18:55 which we understood but they change it again to 17:30 without any announcement or information and we used to miss our flight, fortunately my kid shows on the screen the changing and we could board"
