Nadelen: "After thorough check (and hours at the airport) at the holiday destination, Dubai, my luggage was deemed lost. The DXB lost luggage staff helped me complete a 'lost luggage' report. However, the staff member told me that 'if' RwandAir found my luggage, I would be responsible for going to the airport as RwandAir does not have lost luggage delivery like most airlines. For the six days of my holiday, I waited for phone calls and checked emails expecting to hear from RwandAir. I heard nothing, RwandAir had made no effort of any kind to locate my luggage they had mishandled. Upon flying back home, I checked with the initial airport (DXB), the transit airport (Kigali), and my final destination airport (Brazzaville). My luggage was not in any of the airports mentioned. In each airport, and the RwandAir office at the Brazzaville airport, I presented the initial lost luggage form from the prior week and it was apparent that nobody, no airport, and no office was interested in finding my luggage. RwandAir, at no point, apologized for losing my belongings or in any way attempted to make up for seriously harming my holiday- not to mention the fact that it appears I will never see my possessions that were last seen being taken by RwandAir staff at the beginning of my holiday travels."

Nadelen: "Both flights were terribly delayed and while the crew apologized we sat on a small plane. In Entebbe the reason was they overbooked the flight. So leave those people behind to take the next flight, don't keep us prisoners on a plane for hours... Stupid management decisions."

Voordelen: "The Rwandair plane was modern and clean. Kigali airport has a nice cafe, and check-in was efficient. The plane left a few minutes early."
Nadelen: "Check-in closes one hour before your flight. Economy class: Food was a clingwrapped sandwich. The attendant gave me two bottles of a good South African wine. Security has gotten quite uptight at Kigali airport. They now stop your cab a couple hundred meters short of the airport, and have a dog check the vehicle. You have to pass through another security checkpoint at the entry to the airport building, and a third security into the boarding area. The final security check even takes away any empty bottles you have. And don't take any fingernail scissors in your handcarry, even if they have blunt points. You may have an hour or more wait in preboarding, and without water or bathroom excess. So takke care of these needs in advance."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed, causing me to miss a connecting flight. Boarding was a bit confusing as multiple flights were departing from Kigali airport at the same time and same airline. Information was not conveyed clearly and it might have been easy to begin boarding the wrong flight."

Nadelen: "The arrival time was stated as 1:40pm but in reality it was a 1:10pm arrival so I had arranged my driver to collect at the wrong time and he wasn't there when I arrived."

An hour later we were deplaned and then were uncoordinatedly brought to a shuttle... took 90 minutes to get transported to a hotel... that didn't have capacity for all... then another hotel... still no capacity for all... so I took an uber to another hotel on my own. It's 1 am before I get to my room and crash (no pun intended). Besides the incompetent organizational response in a crisis: The plane was not cleaned Dry -- no alcohol on board Food was meh. Looooooong 36 hours with Egyptair."

Impossible to relax/sleep, I ended up with back pain and legs cramped for 2 full days. Terrible overnight flight. Luggage policy is not clear. Carry on items have to weight less than 8 kg (normally is 12 kg), and to check your bag you have to pay. No personal tv/entertainment."

Nadelen: "Flight#1 was late. I missed the connecting flight to Basel. I have to stay overnight in Brussels and fly VERY early to Basel in the morning."

Voordelen: "I travel for pleasure a lot and this was my first time flying TAP Portugal. I flew from LIS to MAD and the crew were overall more friendly and smiling than on US domestic flights. The plane was clean and bright. I did not notice if the seats recline. I will be using them for short flights throughout Europe when I return for visit."
Nadelen: "Flight was so short they rushed us eating the cookie and only water was served that I could tell. Also, TAP has their own boarding check-in wing of Lisbon airport. It was not clearly marked and Eropean arrows pointing up could mean to continue forward, as well as go to upper floors."

Voordelen: "The entertainment was good and the food was better than I expected."
Nadelen: "Bags restrictions without us knowing. Delayed flight but we still manage to get to our destination on time. The same did not happen before where I had to wait until 2am for my tap flight that was supposed to leave at 11:30pm. I have been flighting TAP for many years now and it used to be one of my favorite airlines. No longer is the case. Over the years there has been a decline on service."

Voordelen: "Seats were Comfortable"
Nadelen: "N/a"

Nadelen: "I did all my research when I booked my flight. Nowhere did it tell me I was booking a discount flight. I had to pay extra for my bag on a long international flight, which I make frequently. Absolutely misleading an unjust. I feel cheated, I will never fly Air Portugal again and I will warn all my colleagues in the travel and tourism industry that I work about the disgrace I felt as a passenger with Air Portugal. It's not the first time I flew with them, but it will be the last!"

Nadelen: "Flight was delayed"

Nadelen: "We were never prompted to pay for our check in baggage at the time of purchase and so when we showed up we were forced to pay 85 euros for one checked bag for an international flight on top of a ticket that already cost more than $250. The luggage restrictions were never shown previously. Will never fly TAP Portugal again."

Voordelen: "The staff was kind and polite and the flight was on time and without occurrences. The entertainment was good."
Nadelen: "The seats were really uncomfortable, the food was just ok and they did not advertise the shrimps to the allergics, the beverages were rare for a flight so long, so we got headaches and dehydration. The price to dispatch the luggage and to book the seats in advance was insanely expensive!"

Nadelen: "If you're going to charge for a checked bag on an international flight, it would be nice if you made that clear on the ticket purchase. A tiny link buried in the information section "See baggage information for additional fees that may apply" doesn't make it abundantly clear that you're going to be hit with an $85 charge each way (ultimately $380 for my wife and me round-trip). Sneaky and dishonest!"

Nadelen: "No vegan food options. Filthy toilet"

Voordelen: "Good food serving times."
Nadelen: "The hospitality of the airline crew is very poor as they are extremely rude to their customers. The planes I flew on were very out of date and not comfortable for international travel. I have flown on many airlines, but these planes were by far the worst. Cheap price, for a reason. The seats didn’t recline, the food was terrible, no options were given for food, and the movies were pre-picked. No one had a choice in what they watched. Very outdated. I had 2.5 hours to board my connecting flight and they caused me to miss it. As I waited in the customs line entering Lisbon, I asked a TAP representative if I’d have to get out of the line up and go right through as my flight left at 2:10 pm. They said you will make it, stay in line. I get near the front of the line 2 hours later... hundreds of people were in this line and they only had 2/10 customs agents available!!! I ask another representative how far my gate is since my flight leaves in 30 min and she told me “no you missed it. but don’t worry others will be missing it too”. So no I did not miss it, you caused me to miss it cause I already asked if I would and you people told me no. I run to the gate, which has now changed to the other end of the airport, so I run to that gate and it is 10 min before the flight is to take off. I ask the desk agent at the gate and he tells me the flight has already left. Others had missed it too due to the insane customs line up. So the plane left 20 mins earlier than scheduled with only half it’s passengers..... unbelievable!!! When I went to the service desk they did not show any sympathy or apologetic behaviours whatsoever."

Nadelen: "1h late. Non reclining seats."

Voordelen: "Customer Service was excellent."
Nadelen: "Viewing options in 38E where i sat, were terribly uncomfortable. The screen i had to look at was off to the left and i had to sit sideways to see the screen."

Voordelen: "They solved the problem of my sit. But i almost have a hurt attack"
Nadelen: "When I get to check my tickets they told me that I was in stand by. I have to fight to get my sit."

Nadelen: "The sound for the movies did not work at my seat or my wife's seat."

Voordelen: "Efficiency and friendliness of staff with a visible commitment towards passengers on-board (customers). One of the best experience, even though the flight was too short, and even then the airlines served snacks and refreshments... Simply Amazing... A 5-STAR service to its customers... Wow"
Nadelen: "NONE"

Voordelen: "Crew and captain we're very kind and friendly"

Voordelen: "The personnal was amazing. They all treated me excellently. I would definitely fly again on this airline with this crew."

Voordelen: "The food and flight attendants were very nice and accommodating."
Nadelen: "I had a 17 kg big baggage and a 7 kg hand baggage and was forced by the hungarian check-in attendant to pay the equivalent of 112 usd. I nearly missed my flight as nobody understood why I had to pay extra since my baggage was under - weight. Outrageous! Will not use Tap Portugal again and definetly won't recommend. Maria Petrita"

Nadelen: "When I booked the ticker online I was informed that I can take up to 23kg luggage, but when I checked in, I had to pay over $120 per person for luggage...I was very disappointed with th ideas treatment"

Nadelen: "Too sleep deprived from earlier missed connection to notice much about this flight except for the complete mess when it came to boarding. You can't line up 4 boarding zones in an area that is maybe 10ft by 10"

Voordelen: "nothing"
Nadelen: "5 hrs delay and missed all connecting flights. Airline initially rescheduled flight 2 days later. Called Kayak and got no support. Kayak agent told us to keep pushing the airline. After 2 hrs of "working" with the airline, we were able to fly into Madrid the following day. Had to spend extra money for hotel room and car rental in Madrid because our final destination was Sevilla. Will never work with Azores or Kayak again. BTW, did we mention that while "working" with Azores to reschedule flight, we were booked to fly into an island off of Africa. Luckily, we followed up online with the changed itinerary."

Nadelen: "Wouldn't let people approach the desk to ask questions before boarding. Crew very un pleasant and forceful throughout the trip. Would not look forward to flying with TAP again."

Voordelen: "the crew"
Nadelen: "the flight hours."

Nadelen: "1. Food. I think that sandwich and juice are not enough for 3 hours flight that costs 130 euros. 2. Departure time. The flight was delayed for more than 1 hours. When we arrived at Schiphol it was night already and trains to towns around were super rare. So we came in home at 3 a.m. instead of the planned 1 a.m."

Voordelen: "Seat comfort and entertainment."
Nadelen: "Kosher food was poor. They need a different supplier and better food for their business class customers."

Voordelen: "very rude empoyees at check in"

Nadelen: "The whole flight, TAP decided to use low cost aircrafts to do long distance flights ..... very poor. Far too much Discomfort no entertainment at all."

Voordelen: "Waited in an hour + 1/2 to check a bag, then waited an hour to board the plane. None of the employees told us what the delay was they just let us stand in line."

Nadelen: "The delay which caused us to miss our connecting flight and as a result being stranded at the Lisbon airport for 6+ hrs. This would have been avoided if there was proper communication within the airline-- an absolutely irresponsible way to handle our plight. The ground personnel themselves admitted that no one informed them of our arrival time. True or false? go figure.This all occured while they refused to allow us on board our plane that was still at the gate and nowhere near taking off. This also resulted in rescheduling our ground transfer, which resulted in additional expense. Overall, a nightmare of an airline. Avoid."

Voordelen: "No delays"
Nadelen: "The sit are very uncomfortable, no leg room. The audio was not working, no entertainment. The flight attendant gave us a card to call customer service, to provide for improvement on these flight."

Voordelen: "Staff was friendly and somewhat helpful, they were able to offer some compensation and hotel."
Nadelen: "I was placed on standby for my flight and ultimately did not get a seat. It took two hours to get a new flight sorted out and it didn't leave for 2 days. A massively inconvenient experience as I had a conference to attend and missed two days."

Voordelen: "Absoulty nothing"
Nadelen: "Your lack of verification of someone at your gate compelling my wife to pay in cash instead of accepting the reservation. Uouj could snd should. Have call security And your gate and investigated my claim. You had 3 hours to do so."

Voordelen: "Everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and the food was nice. I found that there was more leg room than on other airlines."
Nadelen: "I used TAP to depart beautiful Portugal."

Voordelen: "Wine was nice and metal container of so-called business class utilities (socks, tooth brush, etc.)"
Nadelen: "Seats are coach seats! No entertainment. No AC power sources. Shame!"

Now I have to get more Covid Testing done and that will cost approx. $700 and new plane tickets. JustFly.com's customer service is misleading and deceiving. And they blocked my number."

Voordelen: "This was our first time experience and we appreciated the dedication and the level of safety the crew administered, especially during this time of Covid 19. Thanks"

Nadelen: "Ethipian Airlines overbooked my return flight and did not offer me an alternate return flight so I could return on my designated date. They instructed me to come back the following date to fly. I was not compensated nor offered at the very least an apology. The ticketing staff was unprofessional and attempted to blame me for not flying. Do not fly Ethiopian Airlines out of Accra ever!!!"

We almost missed our flight because the lines and process was so disorganized. The plane ride - the plane was old. My seat was so old, the cushion was worn down to the point of feeling like a bucket seat. This was really bad..."

Nadelen: "Flight delayed two hours by weather. Ground operations seemed slow. All planes were delayed by weather, but ours took longer to get ready once weather cleared. Passengers were bussed to the plane for both boarding and disembarking while other planes used jet bridges."

I had to call my parents in Washington DC from Nairobi, have them drive out to Dulles airport and work it out at the Ethiopian office there to give the OK for me to get checked in in Nairobi. The whole process took about four hours and three managers all while I was stewing, worried I wouldnt make it on my flight."

Nadelen: "Staff didn't seem very efficient. Flight sat on runway for awhile and braking was very abrupt. Bags took too long at the dar airport."
