Three hour delay on a 1.2 hour flight. Ground staff made us wait in the boarding area for around 2 hours even though the aircraft hadn't even arrived yet. No updates, no refreshments - not even water. Then we finally boarded to discover MH wasn't even doing meal service on this sector anymore. Just a bag of peanuts and tiny cup of orange juice. So close to five hours without serving water!
Nadelen: "Dinner was only one piece of pizza That’s it"
Nadelen: "MH hospitality has gone down. Those days they were the best of the best. Now, there is hardly any hospitality at all. Very disappointing."
Voordelen: "Terrible airline company. It’s a ripoff!"

Nadelen: "There were no vegan options available. I think that was my fault though because I did not set one up in advance. Would be nice if they offered one anyhow."
Nadelen: "The flight attendants didn't ask me if I need ice cream or any drink but they asked another seat of passages. It's not fair..."
Nadelen: "I was incorrectly charged credit card fees by BudgetAir as I paid via debit card and they never replied to my emails or answered the phone. This caused stress as my bank account went overdrawn. Cannot recommend BudgetAir at all. Appalling lack of customer service. Avoid like the plague!"
Voordelen: "The flight was on time."
Nadelen: "Bathrooms could be cleaner."
Nadelen: "lost my luggage. after they found it, they took a week to deliver. no response to my claim for compensation"
Voordelen: "Everything was smooth. MAS staff attitude has changed to the better tremendously. Friendly staff, orderly boarding, pilot announcements were clear with good command of English."
Nadelen: "BKK to KL flight food needs some improvement. Presentation and taste. I had the fried fish with rice. But it was really tasteless."
Voordelen: "Having 2 seats to ourselves"
Nadelen: "Crew hurried;seats cramped;boarding a pin-had to take watches off;food indifferent;sat on Sydney tarmac nearly 1/2 hr"
Voordelen: "Hard landing which gave passangers a shock."

Nadelen: "Seat back didn’t stay upright so it was uncomfortable when I wasn’t trying to sleep."

Voordelen: "Web checkin and Baggage Drop were precise which saved time. Few passengers do not matter these two (2) important features but this is efficiency to a minimum!"
Voordelen: "Can’t find anything good."
Nadelen: "The airline is protected by the government. Hence there is no motivation for them to improve. This airline is my last choice. My biggest dissatisfaction is the hospitality shown by the crew.. not sincere and in some cases rude... is this the MH - MALAYSIAN Hospitality that they keep advertising? Very disappointing.."

Voordelen: "We arrived at the counter 1:50 before scheduled departure. The queue took 55 minutes for us to reach the counter. We were told then we should have rushed the counter to clear the 1 hour hurdle. There was no approach by staff to warn the waiting queue to do this. We were given boarding passes and told to try our luck taking the luggage through security and try gate baggage check. We made the plane 20 minutes before scheduled departure"

Nadelen: "Seats were too close together. Not very comfortable. We were in row in front of emergency exit. Seats didn't recline. We should be alerted when we select these seats that they are uncomfortable."
Voordelen: "Over all flight experience ok, lack of boarding information and ran out of menu choice but rest ok."
Nadelen: "Arrived in one piece but my luggage didn't; flew from Auckland to Singapore via KL with a 2 hr layover; how luggage didn't make connecting flight is beyond me; maybe they just lose things"
Voordelen: "Everything flowed smoothly."
Nadelen: "It would have been nice to have inflight entertainment within our seatbacks."
Voordelen: "Gate area was good, boarding quick and arrived on time. Crew very pleasant."
Nadelen: "Poor quality food especially the breakfast "snack". Unable to take water on board and tiny serves of water and other drinks left us dehydrated. Far too many ads at the start of entertainmen. Repeated for each selection."
Voordelen: "I like having my knees up in my eyeballs on a plane and having to be pried out of my seat with the jaws of life at the conclusion of a flight."
Nadelen: "Flight was 3 hours late!"
Voordelen: "Easy to get my boarding pass at the Changi airport. Seating was nice. Not many passengers in this flight."
Nadelen: "The magazine in my seat pocket was dirty."
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed almost one hour. Food can be improved. Screen was broken."

Nadelen: "There then was a delay of 3 hours in Kuala Lumpur, which made the already long trip very endless."

Nadelen: "It was freezing on the first flight and although I gave requested for a drink twice this was never brought to me. The Flight attendants were rude and not helpful."
Nadelen: "Got stuck by lots of crying kids."

Nadelen: "Fight was delayed half an hour due to waiting for a few connecting flight passengers. This is ridiculous as the airline is making the gain at the expense of other passengers' priceless time."

Nadelen: "I got severely sick after having ate in the plane. Only a weird selection of old movies provided. Checkin online bugging. Gates are very far in the airport."
Voordelen: "Although I only gave it 4 for comfort, that is mainly because it wasn't a fully reclinable seat which I don't think it's available on a 737. Otherwise the level of service from the staff was excellent."
Nadelen: "Relatively little to complain of. As noted above the lack of a fully reclining seat is due to the aircraft type in general. Otherwise no complaints."
Voordelen: "Direct Flight"
Nadelen: "Food was absolutely disgusting. The mash potato and chicken was completely melt into liquid. The air con continually leaking throughout the journey."

Voordelen: "The plane seemed relatively new and the entertainment system had good choices. The seats were comfortable and business class was fairly empty"
Nadelen: "The boarding process was chaotic at best. The gate had long lines to go through security for 2 flights departing from that area which caused big delays. The plane managed to be loaded relatively on time but removing baggage from a customer who chose not to fly took almost an hour as compared to the 10 minute estimate. By the time we taxied, I was certain that I was in danger of missing my Hong Kong connection and asked the flight attendant to have the pilot radio American to inform them, I got the impression that my request was a low priority for the disinterested crew and, as feared, I missed my connection which forced a daylong wait in Hong Kong. The plane was a 737-800. Malaysia, unlike it's peers, flies mostly narrow bodies inter Asia as they disposed of all their 777's after the second 777 was shot down. I lived in Malaysia and Singapore for eight years in the late '80's and early '90's, at which time I thought that Malaysian was the best airline in the sky. Sadly, their present service is US airline quality at best without the general ability of US carriers to keep to schedule which makes them one of the worst in Asia."
Nadelen: "Flight purchase did not go through and found out too late to try and rebook it again. Tried calling booking company to sort it out and was on hold for 40 minutes which caused me to miss my flight."
Nadelen: "Collection of headsets, too long at the tarmac before take off."
Voordelen: "The flight was fine. The crew was very efficient. I really nothing negative to say. Everything was pretty much the way it should be. I would fly MAlaysia Air.ines again."
