Nadelen: "The ONLY thing I hate about Turkish Airlines is the necessity to go through security in Istanbul when you're in transit on an international flight. Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."

Voordelen: "I liked everything, from the inflight catering, check in, etc! I had to cut short my trip to Istanbul due to a family issue- they couldn’t do enough to facilitate a flight home at short notice at a minimum cost and most importantly expedited my return with the minimum of hassle- thank you Turkish!"

Nadelen: "Every flight is late boarding and taking off, connections are too close together and the set up of Istanbul's airport is nonsense. If you don't miss your connection it's because you ran and the flight took off late. Boarding is rushed because they started late"

Nadelen: "These comments probably reflect the Tbilisi ground service crew rather than the airline, but I cannot be certain. We left the departure gate 30 minutes later than scheduled, after arriving at 0445 am. then we loaded a bus full of people packed together, the bus went 50 meters and stopped. We then sat there, with no air conditioning, no information, for 45 additional minutes. It was extremely uncomfortable. Finally drove another 50 meters to the airplane, and waited some more before finally boarding. Once on board there was another delay of some 20 minutes before we could taxi. All of this meant we arrived quite late in Istanbul and missed all connections."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "I was traveling with a group and wasn't able to be seated with my group for any of my flights including a 12 hour transatlantic flight. For whatever reason, I couldn't actually check in for my flight and select seats prior to arriving at the airport. This happened with each ticket I purchased through every other agency except for orbitz.com. Not sure if that was a Turkish Airlines issue or a kayak.com issue, but it was very frustrating. When we arrived at the airport, we could no longer be seated together because everyone else had already checked in online and selected their seats for an overbooked flight. One of my group members was issued a standby ticket and almost didn't get on one of the flights that we paid a lot of money for. I would call this travel experience subpar, but I don't entirely blame Turkish Airlines for this."

However, I did end up catching the flight and my bags reached to the destination on time. So overall it didn't cause anything more than stress to catching the flight. =)"

Nadelen: "The check in lines are very very long and take forever"

Nadelen: "the connection in Istanbul was short (around one hour), which created the following problem: the 1st flight had to wait 20-30 minutes for the landing permission, and this made us running and rushing to the connected flight. The landing permission was delayed not because of the weather conditions, but because of a long line of aircrafts that came to Ataturk airport at the same time. Therefore, it is kind of Turkish Airlines blame."

Nadelen: "The boarding area at the airport was overly crowded and hectic. It was really difficult to move around with two kids and a few bags."

Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

Nadelen: "The pilot aborted the landing at the last minute and flew to Another airport where we sat on the runway for an hour with no information. After an hour they said it was up to us if we wanted to stay at the airport or continue on to our original destination, with no information where our connecting flights would be. After continuing on to my origina airport, I was forced to buy a visa out of pocket and spend 6 hour waiting for information from the airline. Finally they shuttled me an hour and a half to the previous airport, being very rude the entire time and making me miss the reason I traveled to my destination in the first place."

Nadelen: "Entertainment in the whole plain did not work. At arrival we waited about 30 min before exiting the plain."

The same taxi in and out delay happened on the connecting flight to London and we arrived London at 2pm instead of 10:30am. Food was mainly carbohydrates. Entertainment was absent except for a screen showing a trailer of featured locations in Athens."

Nadelen: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Voordelen: "Due to business I travel allot so I deal with allot of airlines. This is by far the best airlines I have used. Excellent crew and airport staff. I don’t think words can express how satisfied I am with this airlines and airport. The nicest people and great service. Clean and modern aircraft. Going to try flying only with KLM from now on."

Nadelen: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Nadelen: "Crew members in Amsterdam were very rude and disrespectful"

Voordelen: "Seat was uncomfortable. There was nothing to like. In past I have traveled by KLM but this time it was worst."
Nadelen: "No proper food service. Even to the passenger of Amsterdam no dinner was served. No inflight service. It looks like domestic flight. I will think twice to travel by KLM. The check-in staff at counter was absolutely arrogant. Staff ar boarding gate was nice."

Nadelen: "Passenger who needed wheelchair assistance it took KLM 50 minutes to get him off plane which delayed our boarding. KLM not prepared to handle passengers with needs"

Voordelen: "Checkin 1a at Schiphol had long lines, and no seperate counters for just bag drop. My family and I had to wait for 50 mins, to do a bag drop which in,y lasted 1 min! Flight was delayed, without proper announcements."
Nadelen: "Seat pitch could've been more. At least let us know via Whatsapp that the plane is delayed, or at which belt the bags would come out. This basic info was lacking."

When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Nadelen: "1. Paying for the seats we chose...that will never happen again...I'll fly another airline first. 2. The food was terrible. I have flown KLM for years, this was not what I expected. 3. The plane was very dirty"

I felt like I was being tortured and didn’t sleep at all and so slept when getting into Amsterdam rather than being able to explore the city. I was out $200 for the Airbnb (could’ve stayed in the airport cheaper) and $200 for a dinner cruise I slept through. NEVER AGAIN"

The flight attendants were rushing and will take a while if you needed anything. I felt like I was taking a bus with graffiti all over the place."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Nadelen: "Boarding — the plane doesn’t come to the gate. Everyone got on a bus and got driven to the plane. Then we stayed on the bus for almost 20 min. Inflight entertainment player was terrible. The screen was not working well. I gave up on it. No coffee service because of minor turbulence."

Voordelen: "Helpful person to check us in (though online check in didn't work)."

Nadelen: "Was forced to check in my carry on and it did not arrive with my other luggage. I’m still waiting for it."

Nadelen: "We had several problems with our reservation. Our tickets on Kayak.com were sold through airfare.com. We received an email from aifrare.com confirming that we purchased two round-trip tickets. But we did not get seat assignments, and the confirmation number we received from airfare.com was incorrect. We only found out about the confirmation number when we tried to contact Aeroflot to get seat assignments. But contacting Aeroflot online was problematic. Instructions there would send us to screens/options links that didn't work. So, we called Aeroflot. They gave us the correct confirmation number over the phone, but sent us back to the website to get seats. And the website again was problematic. We did eventually get assigned seats, and we did make our flight from the U.S. to Moscow. But then our return flight was also problematic. We could not get seat assignments until we went to the airport for our flight home. Aeroflot then told us that I did not have a reservation. Eventually Aeroflot did recognize my reservation, but then told us that it did not have any seats together for my husband and me, unless we paid for an upgrade."

Nadelen: "Went to SVO at 6 AM on June 11th for flight at 8:10 AM to Brussels. Waited in line to check-in untl 7:23 AM Because of long lines at check-in (Russia Day, apparently) and inadequate staffing for the large numbers, I succeeded in getting through passport control and security ten minutes before flight time, only to be told "no Flight" I had to buy another ticket for the next day at a second fare, all because of Aeroflot' s inadequate staffing. Aeroflot service desk only told me to " go back into the city" where I found an Aeroflot office. After meeting three staff members in succession there, they made no effort to make good on their error. I will avoid AEROFLOT on all future travel. Brussels and Amsterdam airports were so much better set up to handle the crowds"

Voordelen: "Aeroflot's advantage over other airlines is simply the convenience of time. The flight to Moscow from LAX is 11 hrs. with a 2 hour flight connection to Yerevan, my final destination."
Nadelen: "Isles are too narrow. Awful Food. No Wi-Fi. Entertainment system sucks."

Voordelen: "The check in staff was rude and refused to change the really bad seats they have assigned to us. They had the opportunity to do it but they just refused it ."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Junior varsity airline. Food was inedible. I'm only 5'9" but my knees were up against the seat in front of me. And they lost our luggage. Just say no."

Voordelen: "That we landed safely."
Nadelen: "Crew was nasty. I got charged $50 to use the wifi and apparently the system was down. No tv screens they were down also. The food tasted really bad."

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed for 1.5 hours. As a result I was late for my next flights, which I bought as separate tickets. Aeroflot didn't gave me any compensation. Airport coworkers were COMPLETELY impolite. Aeroflot members and workers were ABSOLUTELY IMPOLITE, IGNORANT and did everything to make money of me. Because of this, I lost 950$ in order to buy another ticket."

Voordelen: "A quick flight between Yerevan and Moscow."
Nadelen: "On boarding process is highly disorganized. They don't seat people by sections, everyone just crams together from multiple lines fitting their way into one to get on board."

There was no info on any airline site about my connecting flight either. Lost so much time at airports! Not sure if it was Air France or Bellavia’s issue."

Nadelen: "The flight was late but there was no communication about this when boarding. No announcements of any sort. The plane was old (clearly a refurbished old Italian plane), poorly pressurised (painful on the ear popping), and pretty bumpy on the takeoff and landing"

Nadelen: "Bad weather in Minsk delayed flight more than 7 Hours and Belavia staff did not communicate the reasons for delays to passengers for more than 3 hours into delay. In the end, the purpose of my trip was lost due to the incredible delay and I did not travel in the end. Poor Communication and Poor Handling of Passengers and our Concerns. Czech Air (booking owner) should hold Belavia (operating aircraft) accountable for this poor performance ... not the weather delay, but how they handled (or didn’t handle) passengers and communications."
