Nadelen: "I don't think I will use Kayak again. You farmed out my booking to Voyama which spelled my name wrong. They refused to reissue my ticket with the correct spelling so I had to sweat out getting on board the airlines and now I have to sweat it out today because they again refused to reissue the ticket"
Voordelen: "The crew was average. Few of them were hospitable and friendly."
Nadelen: "After allowing first and business class passengers if boarding is done from the tail end that makes things easier and less messy or chaotic. Many airlines does that way and it seems very much civilized approach."
Nadelen: "Seats unconfertabale"
Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable with enough leg room even in Economy class.The on-flight entertainment was excellent."
Nadelen: "I didn't like the food offered that much. Also, it seemed that the crew were not that good in coordinating among themselves and helping out passengers. There was not much option on drinks."

Nadelen: "Flight attendants were efficient; but not particularly friendly. No offer of water in t the middle of a long flight."
Voordelen: "There was nothing worth liking . Plane was dirty in side . Tray tables were broken. Used pillows without hygiene sealed bags. Toilets were missing basic supplies."
Nadelen: "Crew was aggressive and impolite even with senior citizens . There is no point in speaking English with senior citizen of Asian decent. Making faces and giggling among themselves with a sarcasm."
Nadelen: "It was a long delay, about an hour. The airline kept silence until too late. They gave us a blanket, some refreshments and where to have breakfast. Those who made a fuss were taken to hotel. Many others stayed at the airport and had a terrible night."
Nadelen: "Gate change from 34 to 4 in hgk airport was too far."
Voordelen: "Little more leg room! A good flight overall"

Nadelen: "Not being informed that I could check in online Having a middle seat More movie choices!"
Voordelen: "Flight attendants were responsive and helpful. They were also kind given the craziness they have to deal with in some customers. In flight entertainment was adequate. They seem quite reasonably organized."
Nadelen: "1. It was a 15+ hour flight. Only breakfast and lunch were served, where three are justified. 2. I had a pre-selected (vegetarian) meal which was both meagre and mediocre when flying out of JFK. It was a grossly insufficient amount of food for the long duration of the flight. I had what was essentially a small tray of chickpeas for 'breakfast'. Crazy! 3. The noodles that are on offer for snacks throughout the flight were chicken or beef. Vegetarians do not have anything to eat except cookies and some fruit (which goes quickly when set out!) 4. No eye mask, earplugs, toothbrush or toothpaste. These are basic amenities. Had to ask for an eye mask and then one was provided. Some airlines even provide in-flight socks (and yes, I am talking about economy travel here)."

Nadelen: "Middle row every time and difficult to get out.(economy). Out of the Asian meal again for people in the back of the plane. Was unable to check in on line for some reason, but taken care of at airport."

Voordelen: "Arrived 40 minutes ahead of scheduled arrival time. Food and drinks on board were above expectation compared to other airlines like KLM, China Southern. Cathay delivered a smooth and great service throughout this trip as per usual."
Nadelen: "Hated all the checks at the airport - felt like a criminal. Crew didn't seem very happy to be there."
Nadelen: "In Canton (Guangzhou) aangekomen was er een zeer lamé wachttijd bij de douane van ongeveer anderhalve uur voordat ik aan de beurt was. Dit heeft verder niets met Cathay te maken maar wel met de vluchthaven."

Nadelen: "Mediocre online check in experience! Their website does not accept payments for "upgrading" to an exit row seat. At the time of check in the only seat left available was an exit row so I could not proceed. Also, their airplanes are not equipped with Wi-Fi - quite unfortunate when you're flying 16 hrs from HK to NYC!"
Voordelen: "Easiness to oil a flight with Kayak. Price is much cheaper as compared to other travel websites!"

Nadelen: "Seating was atrocious. I specifically asked whether I could get an exit row seat (i am 6'4"). I was even willing to pay the extra 200$ for my partner and myself. I was told that there were no open exit row seats. But on boarding, the entire exit row was empty. It stayed that way through the flight. Super annoying."
Voordelen: "I will give 10 out of 10 to Cathay for their excellent service, fast air time, humble crew service and a bonus point for their quality of meals/ food. I am a pure vegetarian & in all my flight the crew made sure that I got the correct food tray & it was not mixed with wrong mean (non veg.) by mistake. Unlike other flight where meal is just an obligation, Cathay made sure that the taste was very nice too. Full points to them. The quality of seats was good & nice leg space as well. Overall the experiance was very pleasant & I highly recommend Cathay Pacific."

Nadelen: "My wife's and my seats were sticky and difficult to recline. my headphone socket had lose fitting and neither the airline supplied headphone nor my Bose QC headphone were able to work constantly. The service from the two hosts was poor with very little to no engagement or pleasantries. I compare this with Premium Economy class flights with other airlines I have flown and I will elect not to fly Cathy Pacific again. I also found the food and the service below average. No option for wine on this flight, just red or white."
Voordelen: "The hard product of seats and plane was really nice. Flying the new A359, very comfortable. Lower cabin pressure felt really nice on the skin. Lie flat beds were a treat, and a massive entertainment system."
Nadelen: "The food was average. Had some chicken on pasta on the way over, chicken was dry and without sauce. My wife fainted on the flight and the flight attendant wasn't the most reassuring. Also her foot rest broke and they blamed her weight which was mean."
Voordelen: "The lounge was incredible as advertised! Relaxing, champagne, noodle bar, comfortable seating, great lounge chairs and internet. Fully reclined sleeper pods and good food and wine and service."
Voordelen: "Cathay offer a hotel for the overnight delay at Grand Harbor hotel with a free taxi voucher. This is a good help for us to prepare for the horrible next day."
Nadelen: "The missed flight to SFO was replaced by another flight to LAX next day and then from LAX to SFO via United as domestic flight. This is horrible experience since we had to check out all luggages, go through custom and then check in the bags again with all weighing problems. The worse is that to go from International terminal to United domestic counter, we had to pull the luggages along the curb from one end of the airport to the other side of it. We will never take this option again"
