I was ask to go to another person who issued me check in baggage sticker and told me to hand over your baggage to a person inside. At last he mentioned to not put any valuables in that bag. My carry on bag was just 1lb extra and the first person could have told me right away and I would have thrown away chocolates and brought down the weight to permissible limit. In general passenger do carry valuable stuff in carry on bag. I had to follow whatever I was told."

New Istanbul airport is not fully ready for passengers. In some toilets weren’t water and papers. Very long walking distance till passport control area, we walked about 20 minutes."

Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "We did not like anything about the trip to Houston from Istanbul. To sart with, we were told by Turkish Airline staff to go to the gate more than 1 hour EARLIER than the flight to Houston. Once we arrived at the gate, we were told "I cannot help you with anything about your flight. That is another department" and we to wait our turn and wait for someone to take us down the jetway. We waited for 75 minutes (1.25 hours) until after EVERY OTHER PASSENGER was on board. The flight attendant was unresponsive to us, talked down to my husband and me in a way that was insulting, rude, demeaning and very nasty. When another passenger complained that he did not get the seat that the attendant just changed for him, FOUR flight attendants helped him - one person got on the phone with someone (I don't know who), another went down to his seat to see where he was sitting. Yet another came and tried to explain why they couldn't help and finally a fourth tried to speak with another attendant on board. Whether or not his problem was solved, I don't know, but this was in the middle of our conversation (with only one attendant, I will add), and so his attention was taken away from us and put on him. Our seats were changed from seats closest to the bathroom to the middle of the plane. My husband cannot walk so 14 rows walking was not possible. I will say that finally, it took three volunteers who offered their seats to us to sit near the much needed bathroom. Regarding being seated near the bathrooms, when we asked for an aisle chair (that they told us they had on board) we were told to "stand there. we will get one in around 10 minutes). And, the wheelchair was sent all the way to the BAGGAGE CLAIM and NOT GATE CHECKED, when we arrived in Houston, we can clearly see the frame is bent, the wheels are out of alignment and the brake is also bent out of shape. The wheelchair is a custom made chair just for my husband. We will be sending Turkish Airlines the bill for a new chair if it cannot be repaired. I hope you can see to address these problems. I am not hopeful it is not normally like this for Jews who wear their head coverings. We would welcome a further conversation about our experience in hopes that others do not have the same one we did. Vivian and Henry Blum"

Nadelen: "I have lactose intolerance and I tried ordering the special meals. However the lactose free meals are not good. I got it more than once, it's always dry grilled chicken, steamed veggies and plain rice. Overall it's a dry meal and no flavorful at all. On this trip I didn't order a special as I was hoping one of the options wouldn't have lactose."

Nadelen: "Pointless priority boarding if you get all priority passengers to wait for the rest of the flight.."

Voordelen: "crew was great, seats not comfy, nothing for food"

Voordelen: "Plane was comfortable staff friendly. On time smooth flight"
Nadelen: "Food was almost none existent when we wanted a snack."

Voordelen: "Doordat wij op het bovendeks zaten konden we meteen boarden. Vriendelijke purser die overal de tijd voor nam."
Nadelen: "Doordat 3 mensen zich niet gemeld hadden, zaten er 4 koffers te veel aan boord. Ga maar met de hand zoeken met 15 Afrikaanse mensen in een A389."

Voordelen: "Arrived on time although departure was delayed. Cabin crew was vert friendlyand boarding was fast"
Nadelen: "Would have been nice if the reading material was not so beat up to match the plane's perfect interior, otherwise nothing to fault at all"

Nadelen: "Entertainment need more movies"

Voordelen: "Ontime, no nonsense flight"
Nadelen: "Sadly disappointed that drinks (even soda) are no longer free!"

Voordelen: "Entertainment system worked well and had good selection of movies"
Nadelen: "Armrests didn't go up which is a problem with a toddler needing to sleep. Seat was broken so that pressure would make it lean back. Left over an hour late."

Voordelen: "Unremarkable short hop that met basic expectations"
Nadelen: "Tight seats No snack or drink service"

Nadelen: "-no communication -I stayed in 17 hours of cues -no hotel or meal vouchers -was not let out of the airport -no hydration in lines - people passed out -no line control, people were cutting and lots of arguments ensued -staff was not knowledgeable, was rude to angry customers -baggage was never returned to me, so I had to buy clothes for my business trip -did not answer phones -website went down -no apology or automatic refund, i had to call to get a manual refund"

Nadelen: "Being late"

Voordelen: "I have physical limitations and required assistance stowing overhead luggage and help getting out of seat. Crew were terrific. Wheelchair assistance also great. Travels on my own."

Nadelen: "Water costed money and only credit card accepted"

Voordelen: "Pilot was great in bad whether."
Nadelen: "Pork sausage for dinner, we couldn't believe it!! Not a enough food provided to the flight so we got what was available. Our first family vacation to Europe and had a awful experience for my family."

Voordelen: "Flight on time"
Nadelen: "Food"

Voordelen: "The usual competent BA experience."
Nadelen: "The main meal was a mess. They ran out of the pasta option way too early. Then the tray was covered in useless extras - such as salad dressing (unlabelled, but that's what it looked like) and lime pickle, when the starter was a potato salad that already had a sauce and the main was pasta with tomato sauce and broccoli. They should cut out the extras and spend the savings on better starters and mains."

Voordelen: "Welcoming crew"
Nadelen: "Too warm, one of the seats did not recline fully, very poor choice of entertainment"

Voordelen: "The crew was awesome and helpful"
Nadelen: "BA took my kids Trolleys and when we off board the plan they told us wait we will give you the Trolleys on the gate, we wait for 30 mins and then informed us that the Trolleys will be with the bags on the bag area. This make us to wait 1 hrs in Costume as it was crowded. People who traveled in economy class left airport before us"

Voordelen: "The Chief Purser came over to apologize. At the end of the flight, the Captain came to me to apologize on behalf of the airline. (Too little, way too late.)"
Nadelen: "I am handicapped and the jetway was broken. British Airways took a bad situation and made it worse! Obviously they had no contingency plans and the gate agents just wan't to avoid any responsibility and started blaming the poor man who had been wheeling me all over the airport. ONLY BRITISH AIRWAYS WAS AT FAULT FOR THIS. Eventually they put me on a lift several gates away and then loaded me onto the platform lift of one of those catering trucks that deliver food to the planes and drove me to my plane. The plane door was shut and they had to bang on the door to have them open it and let me board. As a result, I personally delayed the flight (officially) 28 minutes; in reality about 40 minutes. This was one of the most embarrassing and humiliating experiences of my life; to be loaded on a plane like freight!! Is this how British Airways operates??"

Voordelen: "Quick, smooth flight"
Nadelen: "Landed over 40 mins ago and still waiting to get off the flight."

Voordelen: "I loved the hot towel svc, the food and beverage svc. Flight attendants very attentive."

Nadelen: "No snacks for 8 hours. Crew inattentive."

Voordelen: "On time"

Voordelen: "Not much."
Nadelen: "The BA ticket counter did not open early enough with enough staff to get all passengers checked in time. As such, the plane was delayed and we missed our connecting flight."

Voordelen: "boarding and timing"
Nadelen: "fly attendants were kind of rude.. One completely ignore me while taking the order of the passengers sitting just next to me. The other one couldn't even say thank you when I did her job by bringing my garbage to her station. It was my first BA flight and I was not expecting those unfriendly attitude from british people."

Voordelen: "It was short"
Nadelen: "Lost luggage - no one cared despite it clearly being lost at check in going down a broken bag shute. Plane was late. BA is losing their upmarket appeal trying to compete with cheaper airlines."

Voordelen: "The food and entertainment met our expectations. The crew was attentive and provided good service throughout our flight."
Nadelen: "I prepaid for 3 seats in the front row of a coach section according to the diagram provided when I paid $75 per seat to reserve them. If I had known we would be placed back a row and not able to be more comfortable I would not have paid that fee. I do feel as though I was scammed for the $225 for reserving the seats."

Voordelen: "The pilot was gentle landing the pane"
Nadelen: "No complimentary anything, not even water"

Voordelen: "The food was decent especially considering that most don't even offer meals anymore. The movie selection was excellent"
Nadelen: "It was probably one of the fullest flights I've ever been on and the seats were so small and jammed together by 2/3 through the flight I was actually in pain. I don't remember things being so tight on my last international flight."

Voordelen: "Nothing to state on this flight. Just a low cost flight. Minimum service for just a short distance journey."
Nadelen: "Minimum service as usual for a low cost flight."

Nadelen: "Flight crew was very aggressive and casual. Displays are ancient. Seat was broken."

Nadelen: "Weinig te eten weinig te drinken voor zo'n lange vlucht. Geen geluid op entertainment"

Voordelen: "Everything was on time. Flight was smooth."
Nadelen: "Checking in for BA was a headache because of my Alaska connection so I was unable to request a window seat. Not able to request a window seat prior to check in."

Nadelen: "They did not do much to help accommodate us sitting together on the long flight. Poor food. Poor service."

Voordelen: "-Crew was very attentive to the passenger who needed medical attention. -Captain spoke clearly and slowly. All crew members were very professional. -Cleaner and bigger WC rooms than most planes I've been on which is always a plus."
Nadelen: "-Food was mostly bland (e.g. vegetarian lasagna), overly seasoned (e.g. caramel/chocolate pudding dessert) or just not quite good (e.g. cole slaw). Lots of room for improvement here. Thank goodness I'd packed some snacks while we were still in Barcelona. -The earbuds wasn't very good in comparison to other in-flight earbuds I've used from other airlines. Sometimes staticky, noise cancellation was low, and wasn't as comfortable to wear."
