Notre hôtesse de l air été excellente dans son travail. Toujours à prendre soin de nous, être attentive à nos demandes et toujours disponible. Vraiment excellente, elle s’appelait Roma je crois. Merci pour tout, je reprendrai cette compagnie tout le temps.

USB port was also not working, did not charge my phone. I’m glad that we did not buy the business upgrade for his flight before. It would felt wasting all our points. Luckily we were upgraded during check in. Check in was awful, they checked in 4 people in front of us roughly in 20 minutes in MLE. It felt like waiting for forever."

Nadelen: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Voordelen: "I have checked in by online system was very easy to do check in, crew was excellent taking care of all the passengers service was excellent food very good, entertainment need to download with Russian language also as well"

If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "Missed Flight: The flight from Istanbul to Athens was posted as delayed. We were a party of eight and arrived for boarding very close to deadline (minus posted delays) At the boarding gate we were met by six other passengers. The gate was vacant and closed. The real problem happened at the Turkish Airlines desk where we were treated with arrogance, disdain and absolutely no compassion. AS a matter of fact some of the Turkish Airlines staff smiled as they imposed an outrageous fine to purchase tickets to the next flight and continuation of our previous booking. We intend to protest the charges and contact thru many forms of media inform as many fellow travellers of the incident and subsequent treatment by Turkish Airlines. Social media is a powerful tool and although the cards were held in their favor the night of 9-21-17 our protest will not end here. We are fourteen wounded travellers that have agreed to use as many forms of social media as possible to get our message out."

Food quality really need to be improved

The flight was a transit and I had my boarding pass from the departure. I have talked to the check in person to set me up close to my family seats and ended up with my wife in one seat, 3 years old son in different seat and myself on different seat. very disappointing and overwhelming.

Il y avait peu de films et d’entertzinment disponible en anglais. J’aurais voulu avoir plus de choix.

Nadelen: "Poor organisation at the airport (maybe notGulfAir's fault). Flight slightly delayed. Gate changed at last minute, board said "Boarding now", but we then waited something like 30 minutes at the new gate to actually start boarding."

Cup holder was good for nothing, i tried to put my soft drink bottle in it and it slipped right out the bottom and when I tried to put a cup of water in it supplied by the crew it wouldn't fit! When I reclined my seat to sleep the passenger behind me pushed my seat hard back to upright position. When I turned around to ask why the rude response I realized that he was a tall fellow and his knees were already touching the back of my seat so when I reclined it, it hurt him and he had no where to move his legs. I couldn't do or say much as I understood his misery and therefore kept my seat up the whole way for 5 hours! The flight was full and neither of us could relocate to another seat."

Nadelen: "Gulf air staff at cairo airport refused to give me the boarding pass of the 2nd flight while i was returning from cairo, while in dubai they gave me both boarding passes Although i told them the layover is under an hour Luckily bahrain airport accepts mobile check in and i barely caught the flight"

Nadelen: "On my way from London to Bahrain the flight was having two toilets in non working condition through out the flight. So only two were operational. Whatever the issue was never fixed till we reached Bahrain."

Nadelen: "Attitude of staff at Gulf Air in Manama is rough and don't extend any assistance. Flights delay is very common.....too bad. Will never ever choose this poor Airline again."

Voordelen: "The in flight entertainment console was standard with decent movies. The hotel and food voucher for flight delay was nice but was only received AFTER fighting with customer service for over 3 hours on the phone using international calling. Terrible terrible."
Nadelen: "Firsr leg of flight was delayed (mnl to bah) then luggage was lost when we arrived in Paris. Food on the plane was mediocre. Service was poor. I kept having to request water because only a small glass of water was made available at meal service, and typically most airlines on international.flights offer water consistently throughout the flight. Flight attendants all but disappeared in between services. Coffee was also terrible borderline undrinkable. When luggage was lost no offer was provided for a solution - voucher, per diem, etc. We were coming from a warm climate and had to exist for two days layering warm weather clothes. Luckily we had our coats in our carryon. But both travelers became sick during our trip."

Nadelen: "Entertainment selection was poor. Only have a few selections on board for a 10 hours fight. Need more movies. Food was okay, didn't get to choose what meal to eat."

Voordelen: "The crew is extremely attentive without being intrusive. They provided anything we requested. Food was excellent. The hot towels, mint lemonade, and dates before takeoff were great touches. The business class seats are the same ones I've seen in 1st Class on other carriers. Holding a business ticket earns you access to the Falcon Gold lounge in Bahrain where we also received excellent service and ate great food. They are clearly trying to earn recognition as a top airline."

3hr delay with severly lacking communication

Nadelen: "No screens or headphones on board, you had to download an app on your phone and use your own earphones to watch a very limited amount of films/tv shows. Very tight seats, not reclining enough. It was like being on a low cost flight but for 5 hours. Very uncomfortable."
Voordelen: "The crew was good. Loved the mango juice and veg food."
Nadelen: "The seats are hard. More leg room please. Better entertainment with more recent clicks required. Toilet seat needs to stay upright. The eating tables should be straight. Should be able to recline our seats more."
Voordelen: "crew was good. Seat was good but it was a business class seat in a 787-9; so it should be good."
Nadelen: "wines were mediocre which was balanced out by the good quality of the food. Brussels to Abu Dabhi boarding was a little chaotic with coach and front cabin passesgers packed in a single bus. Noticed many older passengers standing for the longish bus ride."
Voordelen: "Crew was friendly and online entertainment system had a lot to offer. Online check-in does save time, it's a shorter queue & you just have to drop off your luggage."
Nadelen: "Eithad charges for seat selection now! Not seats with extra legroom or any other perks. But any seat in Economy if you select it 24 hours before departure, anywhere from $25 to $45. Seat selection is free if flight departure is less than 24 hours away but available seats are all random."

Nadelen: "At abudhabi there was no sitting available, while waiting for connecting flight, and saw people spitting in the airport lounge, it was unsanitary. Why ethihad donot enforce cleanliness in the lounge."

Nadelen: "There was no choice for dinner. It was only a fait accompli that eating from one category remained. When I refused, they did not respond to my request to replace the food. I refused to eat it. The host did not agree to replace the food,"

Nadelen: "The airline staff Abu Dhabi were very unhelpful. They have our seats away to other people. Then they lost our bags. Horrible experience. Would never fly them again!"

Premier bonheur de devoir payer 63 euros de plus pour éviter d'être disséminés aux 4 coins de l'avion, le système par défaut ayant fait cela !!! Deuxième bonheur l'avion est en fait quasi vide.."

Nadelen: "We lost an item and while we are in airport waiting for next flight even though we know it would have got recovered by airport staff there is no way of getting it back unless we download a form online , print , fill the form and sign , scan and send it in email to lost and found team. This is unlikely and complex process for anyone while in airport to get access to print, scan etc. we wish this was more simpler process Cabin was too cold and staff deny bluntly to make any adjustment saying some other set of passengers complained that cabin is warm.. I have not seen anyone who could sit around with out blanket on them and we had to get double blankets and wrap ourselves in there"

Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. Then plane was held on runway for 30 minutes after arriving 1.25 hour late. No complimentary drinks or snacks for a 3 hour flight. Landed 15min before connecting flight departed and was told by crew that a BA representative would be at gate to meet passengers who "missed" connection to LA, but no representative for the LA connection was present (only for other connections) though 20 passengers were on the same LA connection. Approximately 30 other passengers missed other connections. Was told that we would not make transfer to connection in same gate though we still had 10min before departure. At rebooking desk, was told "this happens all the time". Given meal vouchers to use at hotel by London Heathrow. Dinner voucher was valid only at hotel for a single dinner option (chicken, curry, salad, and water only - no juice nor soda, etc.)."

Nadelen: "Landed almost an hour late. Food was HORRIBLE. worst pasta of my life. The crew while kind, we busy chatting in the galley most of the flight. Never came around (besides the initial drink cart and the meal) to offer water or check on passengers. They forced me to close the window while we were flying and I bought a window seat so i could look out. The boarding process was very slow and disembarking took ages. Problems with loading the baggage led to an issue at baggage claim where they were stuck."

Nadelen: "I can't remember a more cramped and uncomfortable flight. Missed connection on way Paris and we arrived 6 hours late. It took British airways 3 days to get our lost luggage to us. Delayed on way back, adding 4 hours to our trip because the first plane was not "serviceable" and they had to get a replacement. They arbitrarily decide who has to much carry on luggage and force you to check it last minute at the gate while letting others with same size bags take them on the plane. Certainly no better than bargain flights and possibly worse. Why pay extra? No more British Airways for us."

I wont make it to madrid until 6pm incremeting my travel time to a total of 24 hours for this reason it was and is a POOR and mediocre flight!"

Nadelen: "We were not offered water or snacks unless we wanted to purchase, while the "first class" was given free meals and drinks. I was seated next to the curtain and they continually pushed it in to me as they serviced the plane."
Voordelen: "The Chief Purser came over to apologize. At the end of the flight, the Captain came to me to apologize on behalf of the airline. (Too little, way too late.)"
Nadelen: "I am handicapped and the jetway was broken. British Airways took a bad situation and made it worse! Obviously they had no contingency plans and the gate agents just wan't to avoid any responsibility and started blaming the poor man who had been wheeling me all over the airport. ONLY BRITISH AIRWAYS WAS AT FAULT FOR THIS. Eventually they put me on a lift several gates away and then loaded me onto the platform lift of one of those catering trucks that deliver food to the planes and drove me to my plane. The plane door was shut and they had to bang on the door to have them open it and let me board. As a result, I personally delayed the flight (officially) 28 minutes; in reality about 40 minutes. This was one of the most embarrassing and humiliating experiences of my life; to be loaded on a plane like freight!! Is this how British Airways operates??"

Nadelen: "Lost luggage - no one cared despite it clearly being lost at check in going down a broken bag shute. Plane was late. BA is losing their upmarket appeal trying to compete with cheaper airlines."
Nadelen: "1. Allowed us to book connection but time is limited. You need 5 hours layover to get to gates in London, every gates seem to be requiring to ride a bus. 2. We missed our connection and booked us to the next flight, waited 5 hours. 3. We were assigned to row 54, headache the whole trip, almost throw up at the end. 4. my daughter almost didn't eat because apparently only have chicken curry. My daughter is vegetarian."
Voordelen: "Everything was fine until I ate my breakfast."
Nadelen: "My special kosher meal cause me to immediately have stomach cramps and estreme nausea - within 20 min of eating it. I had horrible pains and could not use the bathroom due to landing. Upon landing I ran to the use the restroom and the staff promised to keep an eye on my bags. When I exited the bathroom after being violently ill, no one was on the plane except the cleaning staff, and no one was keeping an eye on my bags. I found my purse unzipped. Luckily nothing seems to be stolen. I proceeded to vomit and have food poisoning symptoms the next few hours while waiting for my connecting flight to Rome. I vomited through the entire flight to Rome - no one seemed particularly concerned. No one asked if I needed a hospital. British Air would not take a report about the food poisoning onsite. Nothing was done to help me change my flights to avoid flying so sick or make any helpful suggestions whatsoever."
