Voordelen: "I flew from Bali to Doha and then Doha to Dulles after an 8 hour layover. Both flights operated a Boeing 777. The planes were spotlessly clean both flights. The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Nadelen: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

I felt that the crew at Nairobi airport handled the situation pretty well however, the staff at the Nairobi reservation office were a bit cold and not very helpful."

We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

Nadelen: "There wasn't many good options for entertainment. Only a couple new movies although I liked the TED talks. Also I liked the plane but I wish there were some foot steps and more comfortable head support on the seats. I didn't like also strange option for Golden members in economy seats to be able to "order" food before regular people. There were only 3 options and everyone had the same choice. So basically all that crew does is just asking which course gold members want an hour before serving. It seemed silly with no actual benefit."

We traveled from US - Nairobi - Kigali - Johannesburg, changing planes four times. These were some of the nicest planes. I felt very safe traveling this airline."
Nadelen: "Too much bread in the meals. The meals were adequate in quantity but each meal came with two rolls, which was excessive. Just a note - for the boarding area in the airport. Please have restroom facilities in boarding area, past security so you can use the restroom without having to go through security again. Also, if food and beverage is available for sale in the boarding area more passengers would make purchases."

Nadelen: "My bags were mistagged and almost sent to Lagos instead of Nairobi. The agent noticed the error after the second bag was tagged. He went to search for my first bag that already went down the ramp. Although I gave him the exact description of the bag (purple hard case), he retagged the wrong one (red soft case). Good thing he took a photo. Third try was the charm but shouldn't have happened in the first place. Agents need to be more diligent with where they are sending bags and to double- and triple-check before he luggage is sent down the ramps."

Nadelen: "After thorough check (and hours at the airport) at the holiday destination, Dubai, my luggage was deemed lost. The DXB lost luggage staff helped me complete a 'lost luggage' report. However, the staff member told me that 'if' RwandAir found my luggage, I would be responsible for going to the airport as RwandAir does not have lost luggage delivery like most airlines. For the six days of my holiday, I waited for phone calls and checked emails expecting to hear from RwandAir. I heard nothing, RwandAir had made no effort of any kind to locate my luggage they had mishandled. Upon flying back home, I checked with the initial airport (DXB), the transit airport (Kigali), and my final destination airport (Brazzaville). My luggage was not in any of the airports mentioned. In each airport, and the RwandAir office at the Brazzaville airport, I presented the initial lost luggage form from the prior week and it was apparent that nobody, no airport, and no office was interested in finding my luggage. RwandAir, at no point, apologized for losing my belongings or in any way attempted to make up for seriously harming my holiday- not to mention the fact that it appears I will never see my possessions that were last seen being taken by RwandAir staff at the beginning of my holiday travels."

Nadelen: "This airline is an operational nightmare. I purchased a ticket with a connection, and the second flight being a codeshare, two months in advance. On the day of travel, I checked in, checked two bags, and headed to the gate. An hour before the flight, a Rwandaair agent approached me to inform me that they were no longer code sharing with precision air, the second flight. Chaos ensued, my bags got lost, I got stuck in Nairobi, etc. in Nairobi, one of the Kenya airways agents literally said to me 'avoid Rwandaair and precision airlines - they are both airlines that do not follow any regulations, and not just operational, but safety as well.'"

There was no food offered (the flight is 45 minutes) and there is no entertainment available. The crew was pleasant and the seat comfortable (I am 5'11). I would fly again with RwandAir."
Nadelen: "There was nothing significant enough taken into consideration the characteristics of this flight and the construction in Entebbe."

Nadelen: "To my shock, my boarding pass while scanning to enter the aircraft was rejected with wild flashing red lights saying my trip was cancelled. Someone else was given my emergency row seat, booked and confirmed 24 hours ahead. It was a full flight but I got a middle seat and continued my long journey home from Kenya"

Chez Swiss : impossible de réserver puisque j'ai réservé chez ANA... Repas franchement mauvais, rien de japonais, pas de chopsticks alors que la moitié des passagers étaient japonais. Divertissements : équipement vidéo d'un autre âge !"

Voordelen: "After almost completely adapting to the spartan amenities of US domestic airlines, my recent SWISS flight had a too-good-to-be-true quality that rendered my travel companion and I giddy with delight. My dinner (one of three food services) consisted of chicken, potatoes, steamed broccoli, salad, a dinner roll with butter, gruyere, and a strawberry tart... included cream and sugar signaled an inevitable coffee service. This was accompanied by complimentary wine and sparkling water, and heavy-weight stainless cutlery. The seat reclination was good, and the in-flight entertainment was a cut above. Coming off many Frontier flights with pay-for-beverage service, no leg-room, and un-reclining seats, it was about as good as coach can get. I'm actually looking at SWISS routes first before I plan my next vacation."

Voordelen: "movies choices were good, the crew was awesome, boarding was meh, but for NBO not bad"
Nadelen: "paid extra for the seats with more leg room and the amount of leg room I had was concerning in terms of what a regular seat may have looked like. I'm not even that tall, but when the woman in front of me reclined, I was pinned in my seat. Luckily I'm double jointed."

Voordelen: "Throughout the long flight, the cabin crew was excellent. They were attentive and friendly. They avoided interrupting quiet time and rest time by keeping off the PA system (well done). The food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get some business class tickets with points, and the food was amazing. Wine was excellent. This team was quite solicitous of my parent with reduced-mobility. And the bathrooms stayed clean throughout the flight. find this is often an areas where many airlines fall down. And it's too bad, because while I'm 100% sure it is no fun to clean a toilet while in flight, it is a really a big negative for the customers. Overall excellent attention to detail, with a cheerful and "can-do" crew that kept the plane "proper" throughout the flight and provided seamless service. Good stuff. Will fly again."

Nadelen: "No flat bed in business class. Flight delayed and 1 hour 10 minutes late; my bag did not make the connection in Istanbul. My bad is due to be delivered tonight."

Voordelen: "meals are pretty good, though repetitive"
Nadelen: "old plane, connections at IST are inconvenient and the airport is in terrible condition. Flight was crowded and boarding was chaotic. Ran out of meals. Plane was quite hot (and I'm usually cold). Overall poor quality."

Nadelen: "wasnt able to print my boarding pass while checking in online. being able to do so would have helped a lot if i didnt have to check-in at the counter as the flight was at 5am. i could have just got in and spent the night at a lounge."

Nadelen: "The seats in business class were not suitable for sleeping even though I paid top dollar and it was a 4:45am flight. They let a random person on the plane and had to do a full security sweep before taking off."

Voordelen: "The food was good, the entertainment ample and up-to-date, and our flight attendant on that flight was very nice and helpful. My sister is incredibly tall and they were able to put us in an exit row, which was much more comfortable for her."

Nadelen: "Turkish airlines from Istanbul to Nairobi Announcement for medical personnel or doctor to come help. We pushed the button and the flight attendant came to our row. We unbuckled and we’re ready to get up and he said “ I have an elderly woman but first I need to see your license. In shock we said you need the license for us to be able to help? He said unfortunately that is our policy. I happen to have mine because I brought it along for the medical mission. I showed it to him then he gave some detail still not allowing us to see the person that needed attention:"

Voordelen: "Boarding on time. Decent food. Relatively clean aircraft"
Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "flight attendants from Nairobi to Istanbul were rude and unaccomodating. asking for a glass of water appeared to overwhelm the flight attendant."

Voordelen: "I enjoyed the flight!"
Nadelen: "Not applicable"

Nadelen: "Flight was late leaving Nairobi due to a catering issue. Missed connection through Istanbul to Manchester. Placed on AF flight to Paris then Manchester. Paris flight was delayed. Missed connection to Manchester. Paid for my own hotel room overnight in Paris CDG. Flight will arrive a day late in Manchester. That means I have missed my flights from Manchester to UK with Air Lingus (booked through Kayak website) It seems I must now purchase a new ticket to get home from Manchester to Nashville. All expenses I can ill afford. Lesson learned...cannot afford to use Kayak anymore...sorry."

Voordelen: "we ware attisefy for are first time in bisness clas"

Voordelen: "My experience on Turkish Airlines exceeded expectations. Boarding was smooth and the flight was on time. Service was excellent and staff professional. The crew was courteous but the hostesses could try smiling a bit more. Their courtesy was appreciated but it felt very methodical, more of an obligation and not spontaneous. The pilot did a great introduction and gave information about the trip. Also the plane toilets were clean compared to other companies. I expected to see a wider selection of more recent and award winning movies. Will definitely fly Turkish Airlines again."
Nadelen: "I had a 4 hour layover. The airport is not organized. It was impossible to find any Turkish Airline help desks and personnel. I definitely would have expected to see more ground personnel helping travellers."

Nadelen: "I did not like the way I was treated by supervisor st the checking desk while checking at Nairobi, I am not sure if he is an employee of the airport or of Turkish airline. he frustrated me and was not offering any assistance, I also realized that he frustrated two other people during and another staff says he is fond of doing that all the time"

Voordelen: "Free upgrades are great, unfortunately rare."

Nadelen: "The food was rubbish. I ordered Hindu veg meal. The food was just plain and there was no glavors at all."

Voordelen: "The few and very rarely seen employees are not even willing to listen to our questions let alone help us, Ican for sure say in 1 out of 10 wotkers there was only one that was willing to help And did let the one that helped us know I and my co travelers apriciated her or him to me there was one girl who offered me help after I cried because I thougth I would miss my flight to houston. I told her tgank you a 1000 times."
Nadelen: "Every thing Lack of help Lack of infirmation Lack of annoucement of next step Lack of a simple WIFI so I could let someone know what is happening to me There was no airport free wifi This turkish airline have now lost me as a customer unless I am traveling to somaliya where no other airline goes Bye bye Turkish air I am deeply disappointed at the lebel of the airport serveses For that reason I am done dealing with it and I will let this known to my friends and Family so they also stop doing bussniss with this airline It it my new mission now to stop anyone flying turkish air because of customer serves ... I just glad my horrifying experiance is over and I am home now Thanks for askiking me how was my flight"
