Nadelen: "Although for some technical reasons the flight was considerably delayed, there was no action taken either by Qatar Airways or Geneva airport authorities to make the waiting more confortable!! The passengers of economy class and business class were all stacked in the same space (it looked more of a hangar...) Access to this space was only possible by stairs (No elevator - No escalator !!) No drinks offered, not enough chairs to sit and wait......etc The main blame is to put on Geneva Airport Authorities. This airport is a total mess From the moment one arrives at the airport area (access - parking - ..) till the moment of boarding... It should be boycotted by major and quality companies such as Qatar Airways and many others."

Nadelen: "same remark : Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

Assigned last seat in plane going even though short layover - had to run after 12 hours on plane since got last bus to terminal and waited, waited, waited for final passengers, not fun. Way back flight changed and no accomodation made (a lounge, room, anything) for 7.5 hour layover "you'll just have to hang in there" in middle of night even though others on my tour with same issue in dubai got a room included. With added stress of going through qatar which i booked because of longer layover so wouldnt miss connection just before political decree announced, i will do anything to avoid qatar again despite the very friendly crew. And having to wrap my camera equipment to check it, get extra insurance, such a pain."

Nadelen: "Was on flight QR 743 Doha to Boston. The pilot landed as if it was an afterthought In good weather, it sounded as if the pilot used the computer to land. The crew worked with great pains within a difficult situation. The flight was delayed by an hour, full flight had dirty lavatories without water from the get go! One of the middle lavatories could not lock! This plane should have been better serviced by ground crew before it departed Doha! Infotainment system is confusing, keep it simple and add more up to date movies. Even then, I will still fly QR over all else."

Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "Cabin crew in business class were not especially friendly and was really lazy during the welcome drink service. They did not even ask each passenger and greeted them to see if they want anything. Instead, they just held the tray of welcome drink and walked around the cabin once, then poured all the unconsumed welcome drinks into the bathroom. Service after take off was abysmal as well. No smile, no addressing passenger by name, all the service was done in a rush and a totally weird manner. The food is not very much to my liking since it heavily consisted of cheese, and there is literally no choice for you to get away with that. Having a traditional Turkish menu is great at one hand, but in this case it was a huge no-no."

Nadelen: "Did not like the long connection to Rome from Istanbul. Otherwise the accommodations were good and clean, and the crew friendly."

Nadelen: "New US regulations requiring tablets and laptops to be stored in checked baggage were not relayed to me. I booked the trip in February and the new regulations went into effect in March, but I was never notified. When we got to Istanbul from Brussels and made our way to the gate, we had to go through a security checkpoint where I was informed that my tablets would be confiscated and given back to me once we landed. They had a claim area set up next to our baggage claim turn-style to get tablets and laptops back, but it took us 30 mintues to get our tablets (only 5 mintues to get our baggage). Again, I realize they're only doing their jobs and this regulation is new, but the system they put in place for it and their total lack of communication for customers who had already booked trips was awful. Also, at the checkpoint I was told my tablets would be confiscated and my passport had a sticker put on it. I moved down the line where I was told they would take my tablets and the next guy told me I was clear to go. I asked for verification and he ushered me along, so along I went. Then, while sitting in the plane waiting to leave, a group of 5 or 6 people came on board and searched me out, saying they didn't have a record of my tablets being handed over. I told them I was told to move on at the second checkpoint and they gave me a look as though I was lying, but then said it wasn't my fault and made me retrieve them from my bag and hand them over. It wasn't a huge deal, but it sure did make me look like an idiot in front of everyone else on the flight who could see it happen. The whole reason we brought our tablets was to read books on the flight, and a 13 hour flight doesn't exactly go by quickly. I udnerstand they're just doing their job, but they should have sent an update to people on these flights."

Nadelen: "Check in in Istanbul was long and confusing due to new safety measures. I had 4 different passport checks with one pat down search and carry on search. Not enough time to even enjoy the Turkish air lounge. However I do. appreciate the safety measures and the effort that come with it. I rather be safe than sorry. The security personnel was very friendly."

Nadelen: "Boarded from the front and rear of the plane. We were in the middle, so it was slow. 6+ hours in a 737 -- I feel like compacted trash. Crew avoids looking at you for fear that you'll talk to them. Worse airline I've been on for communicating. Food just isn't very good."

Nadelen: "I was in group a. I was in line with others when the staff suddenly closed off group a and starting boarding group b. She wouldn't answer why I couldn't board. After letting group c board she told those of us in group a still in line to love over to the line for group c. It's not a big deal when one boards but this was annoying and rude"

Voordelen: "Everything from above and the fact that my bags got home untouched and on time. It would have been a disaster to have to drive back to Bucharest to pick them up at the later time like it happened with other airlines."

Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

This delay caused me and many others to miss connections in Istanbul. Also, the transfer process in Istanbul was very confusing; I was given wrong directions and waited twice in the wrong place before I found the right line to wait in."

Voordelen: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Nadelen: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Nadelen: "My suitcase didn't come with the airline."

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Rather than stop the purchase food options they continued which meant they could only reach row 16 by the time our flight began its descent. Since were in row 19, we were not offered any food or water, during lunch."

Voordelen: "Not a lot. Just that the departure was on time."
Nadelen: "This Business-class seat is a proper rip-off. The only difference from Economy is the in-between seat is not used. No extra leg room whatsoever. Economy from Honolulu to Los Angeles I had more leg room then this one. Unacceptable response from the crew: "that's how it's been the last years"."

Nadelen: "Our baggage was delayed coming off the plane in Seattle and getting to the carousel. When we were finally able to claim our baggage in customs, the gate said it was too late to re-check them through to Seattle, so they had to re-book us for a later flight. So after 13 hours of travel (with a toddler, which makes everything harder), we had to wait an unexpected 3 hours at Seatac to board a plane home. It was terrible. The BA representative at the baggage claim was incredibly dismissive and rude to everyone. It really was miserable."

Nadelen: "Would have been nice if the reading material was not so beat up to match the plane's perfect interior, otherwise nothing to fault at all"

Nadelen: "I did not like the lack of complementary coffee or other drink for a two hour flight, especially at that time of the morning. Coffee was available, but only for a price, as were other food items. This was unexpected and certainly not appreciated."

Nadelen: "No wifi on a +11hr flight TV Screen looks horrible. Too old. Didn’t even watch any movie on it. got downgraded from First Class to Business Class because the airline oversold first classs. Shouldn’t happen."

Nadelen: "It felt as though they had very minimal snacks/food for the trip as we only received one snack towards the end of the trip and one meal and it was an 8 hour flight. When I asked for extra snacks, they said there was none. This ruined my experience for me since I was hungry for most of the flight."

Nadelen: "Leg room/space BA offers is calculated for short and small body frame passengers and it is on not acceptable. It feels like cattle Wagon. BA should show consideration for real passengers not some sort of statistical average. I am 6'4" and sitting in your plane's cabin inflicts hours of body pain. The space given is sufficient for children and teenagers. Also sitting in the hot cabin for extended amount of time is extremely uncomfortable. Why there is no cooling and proper air ventilation right from the beginning?"

Nadelen: "Baggage did not arrive as was not put on flight at San Jose despite checking it in 2.5 hours before flight"

Voordelen: "The Chief Purser came over to apologize. At the end of the flight, the Captain came to me to apologize on behalf of the airline. (Too little, way too late.)"
Nadelen: "I am handicapped and the jetway was broken. British Airways took a bad situation and made it worse! Obviously they had no contingency plans and the gate agents just wan't to avoid any responsibility and started blaming the poor man who had been wheeling me all over the airport. ONLY BRITISH AIRWAYS WAS AT FAULT FOR THIS. Eventually they put me on a lift several gates away and then loaded me onto the platform lift of one of those catering trucks that deliver food to the planes and drove me to my plane. The plane door was shut and they had to bang on the door to have them open it and let me board. As a result, I personally delayed the flight (officially) 28 minutes; in reality about 40 minutes. This was one of the most embarrassing and humiliating experiences of my life; to be loaded on a plane like freight!! Is this how British Airways operates??"

Voordelen: "Nice aircraft and nice flight overall!"
Nadelen: "I had reserved the 2 back seats of the aircraft--a row of only those 2 seats--so I could sleep against the window and my husband would still have the legroom he needs. Unfortunately those seats on the actual aircraft ended up being in a 3 seat row and getting a window seat and middle seat. Having booked the flight 8+ months prior, we were disappointed that we had less comfortable seats than originally reserved."

Voordelen: "Nothing to state on this flight. Just a low cost flight. Minimum service for just a short distance journey."
Nadelen: "Minimum service as usual for a low cost flight."

Nadelen: "Weinig te eten weinig te drinken voor zo'n lange vlucht. Geen geluid op entertainment"

Voordelen: "Absolutely nothing. Flight was delayed from 8am to 1pm, didnt bord until 2pm. Sat on plane for 4 hours which didnt even take off. Shuttled to another plane for 8pm departure, missed connection in London to boston and had to stay over in London. Next time theyre dealing with a mechanical part issue just consider the plane not useable. No snacks on the plane for 4 hours sitting on tarmac, only one beverage service."
