Voordelen: "The whole Business experience on SQ"
Nadelen: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

Nadelen: "In-Flight Wi-Fi has archaic plans… 30MB Chat App-only Plan for 2-Hours. It also usually has a pause button to halt and resume the internet session later, but there wasn’t one this time."

Voordelen: "The crew is always amazing: highly professional, attentive and friendly. The whole experience with Singapore Airlines is always a treat."

Voordelen: "Great crew But... Many wild children, loud babies. I was in seat with extra leg room so I had no space for my purse & carry on and had to store in overhead bin. After take off, I retrieved my purse & carry on to get my glasses and purse. The flight attendant gave my bin space away to someone..."
Nadelen: "See above... Who didn't upgrade their seat. My items had to go into bin 3 rows back. Very inconvenient & very difficult to retrieve after landing. I will never pay the additional fee for extra leg room again."

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed by 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight in Singapore. There was a huge queue of people who missed their connecting flight cos of an accident in the runway. The airline did nothing to prepare for this situation. It took hours to get another flight organised, communication was non existent and refreshments took ages to come. Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."

Why does singapore airline have old seats I new planes? What happened to the earlier leader? Friendly staff alone does not make the deal. And given ticket prices SQ is not attractive any more for me."

I ended up running from security all the way to my gate, feeling I was going to miss my flight. They still had the gate open past the scheduled time, but wish I didn't have to run."

Then all were offloaded. - We were made to sit on airport for flight for about 6 hours. - I was not allowed to exit or reschedule the flight until i waited for 6 hours. - Still its not confirmed whether the flight will depart on given time. - I missed my important work in India. - The new flight arrives Mumbai midnight 2:30 am which is very hectic for me. I paid more for the flight at the time of booking knowing it will reach in the evening."

Nadelen: "The boarding process in ORT was a horrible fail. they didn't announce the boarding of first/business and by the time I arrived at my seat there was almost no overhead room left because people from economy put there bags in the business area. The bathroom was definitely not cleaned enough, I went twice where the floor was soaked, the seat was wet and the sink full of toothpaste. I understand that every passenger should be responsible enough to clean up after themselves, but it was not an enjoyable experience. The crew was friendly enough, but it didnt feel like the personalized service experience that is usually the case (where they introduce themselves, explain the do not disturb sticker etc). Also I think there was something wrong with my seat because it didnt "lay flat" all the way."

Voordelen: "Well, the best thing was my free upgrade from Business into First ....which is perfect for the 14+ hours from Dubai to Seattle..... :)"
Nadelen: "I prefer the A380 to the 777-300 due to the availability of the bar/lounge area, and also the shower."

Voordelen: "Great video console for a short 1.5 hour flight to Yangon"
Nadelen: "Nothing. Everything was fantastic. Just a really nice quick flight."

Nadelen: "the boarding process was awful. they called for people to go into the pregate area at and the plane had not yet arrived. once in the pregate area the is no access to food or water and you cannot bring in a bottle of water from the terminal"

Nadelen: "When I boarded my flight, a man and his family took my seat and forced me to sit in the middle of two very large men and made my 7 hour flight very uncomfortable. I purposely chose that seat for leg room and even though business class was empty, they could not provide me with a different seat."

Nadelen: "Dubai airport had insufficient eaters open for breakfast although all jeweler shops were open by 0630. Boarding process at Dubai airport (home airport) was poorly ran. Staff did not board passengers by zones (although on tickets), or rows (also on tickets) or class (also on tickets). Rather all jumbled up, and although there was possible a good reason for such, no explanation offered passengers, thus increasing discontent. Individual desk personal seemed helpful when asked directly, so possible due to Dubai team /desk team lead policy. Flight seat from Dubai to EBB not one requested and no explanation offered on why although requested made months previous when ticket booked. ."

Nadelen: "Bad smell - probably somebody had vomited on a previous flight"

Voordelen: "The seating had enough room which made us feel comfortable. Also, the food is is per expectations"

Nadelen: "We moesten ons erg haasten vanwege vertraging van de eerste vlucht. Door ern beladingsfout had de vlucht ook nog erns bijna 3 uren vertraging. En dan blijkt ook nog eens dat onze koffers niet meegenomen zijn."

Nadelen: "We vertrokken met vertraging. We konden maar net op tijd het boarden van de volgende vlucht halen."

Nadelen: "Be sure to take your own water bottle with you on this long 14 hour flight. Both directions it seemed that the company approach to beverages was to serve as little as possible, perhaps to keep people out of the bathrooms. But the cabin air was so dry I could barely swallow at times one way drinking only what was provided, but the other way I noticed that my jet lag was greatly reduced when I carried and consumed an extra liter or two above what was provided. At one gate the security crew asked me to dump my water, but I had a small empty bottle with me that I could fill up at the spigot near the bathroom on the plane as needed."
