Nadelen: "The boarding was terrible. They called for groups, asked everyone to form 2 lines, but after the lines were formed, closed one boarding lane. Some people were late to board for first-class, causing even more boarding delay and chaos. There were 5 crew at the boarding gate just standing and watching. I selected a seat closer to the rear of the cabin, which received much worse attention than any other flight with ANA. I didn't get asked for a drink until very late, and the second time around there were almost no drink selections available. My seat was also broken and would not recline. Aside from the actual airline, the passengers in the rear were very inconsiderate. There was a big family with several children running around/crying/playing with seat-back trays the entire 11+ hour flight. Again, this is not entirely the fault of the airline, but it was a discomfort."

Voordelen: "Everything.. the crew was so gracious and kind even tho the delay was out their control. they even gave us 30,000 Yen or $260 approximately, which they didn’t have to do. i will start flyin ANA... not because of the money, but because of the delay... which no American carrier would have done and would’ve given excuse after excuse."

Nadelen: "The check-in at LAX. They form 2 different lines for Economy. The 1st line was lined with the people arriving first. Then the 2nd line started to fill later. But when the ANA agents came out, they have no clue and serve the line of the people arriving later. Should know what they are doing. Either just 1 line, or if 2 lines, should ask which line come first"

Nadelen: "Missed my flight over a misscommunication on getting to the airport. Thete was not sufficient time to arrive more than an hour early due to the fact Gimpo airport opens at 6am and the flight was at 7:45. When I arrived I was not allowed to check in or board and no one wanted to help me find out what to do. They suggested I call my ticketing agent. Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

Nadelen: "Singapore Airlines is so wildly overrated. The service is frequently poor, and the cabin environment dirty and old unless flying on their very latest planes. Even their A380s are now stale and musty. Not nice."

Nadelen: "My first flight of JetBlue from Olandor to New York was delayed that leading to my connecting flights to my destination were missed. Now, my suitcases have been missed, too."

Nadelen: "With no food preferences specified, it takes a significantly longer time to get your meal as there are a lot of people who have special dietary requirements on certain routes."

Voordelen: "I booked regular economy and flew to Tokyo that way, but put a bid in for premium economy for the flight home and got it. It's not a big upgrade (bigger display panel, a little more leg room, seat tilt and it has a leg rest) but those things made the flight for me."
Nadelen: "I don't have much on the down side front aside from the usual "would like more leg room" and "more seat tilt" so nothing new to report"

Nadelen: "I Booked a flight that stated that it only had one stop in singapore, then direct to SFO after arriving in singapore i was told that i had to go to a transfer counter, that there was a problem with my ticket. after arriving at the transfer counter they took my boarding pass for my dircet flight to SFO, & told me that i now had a stop in hong kong, that the direct flight to SFO was over booked!! this is not right i wouldn't of booked this flight if they had been truthfull about the extra stop. i will never use singapore airline or kayak again!!!"

Voordelen: "My wife and I flew from Los Angeles to Seoul. The entire experience was incredible. From check in to disembarking, we were well taken care of. Gracious service and complimentary drinks throughout the flight with a full spectrum entertainment system!"

Voordelen: "The presence and attitude of the flight attendants were highly pleasant and accommodating. The entire flight was very comfortable and made the 9 hour journey from Manchester to Houston Texas fast and enjoyable. The flight attendants always had a wonderful smile which felt genuine many a time and always made an effort to speak at the level of the passenger. When I had trouble connecting to the Wifi, one attendant even knelt down and connected my phone manually as I was not tech savvy in this regard. The food was of much higher quality as well compared to other airlines I traveled with on this trip."
Nadelen: "Really the only issue was there was a 2 hour delay on departure, however this was due to issues out of control of the airline and I did not mind as the airline's ambience and my experience with it overshadowed any delays."

Nadelen: "At Mumbai airport, during check-in I was told that my carry on bag plus personal item together should weigh not more than 7kgs!! I have never had any airline actually weigh my personal item (laptop backpack) before this journey. Eventually I ended up stuffing my check-in bags with everything I was carrying in my carry on bag before I was allowed to check in. The weird thing is, I was never told about this rule on my journey from the US to India."

Nadelen: "Crew members are waking up for lunch and breakfast but not for snacks and other beverages. We are feeling hungry later. we aren't knowing when they ll provide."

Voordelen: "Our connecting flight was only 1 hour after reaching Doha. They placed a crew member to receive all the passengers that needed to make that connection. Very very useful. Our luggage was made it to the short connection."

Nadelen: "I dislike the economic class on a 19 hour journey to Doha to Dallas Texas I felt so tight and annoyed with people next to me when asking to go to the bathroom that’s my mistake next time I surely will go on bussiness class other then that everything was great."

One of the economy rest-rooms were out of order and I was allowed to utilize the business class restroom by the flight attendant. Head bursar was very apologetic and sympathetic about the whole issue. Enjoyed my flight, again on Qatar!"

Nadelen: "They have less space to move your feet and after a while your left knee begins to hurt because you have been sitting in the plane for a long time. Whenever I asked to get a drink of water or soft drinks, it took the flight attendant 10-15 minutes to arrive with my drink. I understand she was occupied with other duties, but she should have made me her priority."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants waited for me at the gate since customs was backed up. They saw me running and told me it was ok. On the flight, snacks and drinks were bright by every hour or so and the meals were plenty of food and tasted good. I was given a bag with eye cover, earplugs, socks, face wipes and ear phones. Entertainment was good as well. Qatar is an amazing airline. Wish we had something like this in the States!"

Nadelen: "The whole booking experience and long phone and frustrating. Long phone calls with not very knowledgeable/understanding staff for clearing payment with Momondo was a farce. Using a corporate credit card I have used for several years. I didn't get confirmation before I went to bed. Only next morning, when I woke up 5 am for getting my flight, I finally had the confirmation. Could never get it before I went to bed 1.30 but - but they could confirm the payment was done alright! Hurray! Never booking with Momondo/Kiwi again."

Then wait for the previous minibus's crowd to clear then walk another flight of stairs up the plane :( I can accept this from a budget airline but not a commercial airline at a usual well-equipped airport especially when it's at its own home country."

Le personnel naviguant est juste exceptionnel on peut demander ce que l'on veut et ce même en économie class. Les compagnies européennes devraient s'en inspirer. La nourriture excellente et vraiment j'insiste sur la qualité du service."

Voordelen: "Nothing! The plane left late and while waiting, the airco blastwd like a freezer. My feet and gands became numb and I got a terrible headache. Next, a chinese couple with a 1 year old toddler came to sit next to m: the child started wailing immediately and this lasted until 5 min before landing. It was like they had not a clue on how to handle a child and they had nothing to make it drink or suck or distract it. Worst flight in ages.."

Nadelen: "Ran an hour behind schedule. We boarded on time and then got delayed waiting for air traffic control. Landed about 40 mins later. Considering it an was an hour flight, a little annoying. We didn’t have another flight to catch or somewhere to be, but it could have been troublesome for others."

Nadelen: "Severely delayed. Flight circled over Mumbai for over an hour. When we landed doors were locked and we were.told airline staff had the keys."

Nadelen: "Boarding in Brussels is always a hassle. The plane is never ready for boarding and one has to wait long time to access the plane. They start boarding but do not open the doors of the plane so everybody has to wait long in the tunnel to access the plane. It would be better not to start boarding."

Voordelen: "The seats were fabulous. Roomy and my girlfriend and I were indeed placed in the armrest adjoined style. Flight was quite smooth. For the difference in price I can not fathom why anyone would fly coach on THAI."

Nadelen: "Flight from koh samui to bkk cancelled and has to spend 2 hours on phone to arrange another flight. Catamaran gave me the wrong phone number for calling thai airways. Thai airways/vayama had originally booked me on another flight without confirming it would have been ok. Terrible in flight service especially on way back."

Voordelen: "They maintained darkness inside the cabin, thus I could relax well."
Nadelen: "Food was not good, also they served dinner at 5 pm which was very early for me. I had late lunch at 1:30 and was not expecting dinner at 5 pm. I did not feel hungry and so refused the meal. Unfortunately they served only a cup cake later in the evening. It was a 6 hour flight, thus a small cup cake late in the evening did not suffice."

Nadelen: "Inefficient security screening. Inspected every single bag, rather than employ scanning systems. Left 45 minutes late. No reason given. Luggage took an extra 40 minutes to unpack due to "technical difficulties"."

Voordelen: "Vegetarian food was ok. Crew was very polite and helping."
Nadelen: "Economy class Seat was hard, did not move back much, had very less leg room, thus uncomfortable, couldn't sleep on the flight"

Nadelen: "Outdated Entertrainment system... btw, no entertainment system... safety video had so many hiccups, need to restart multiple times. First flight which did not have either Pepsi or Coke products. Only carbonated drink available is spirite.. very disappointed. Crew was not friendly.. Even when the wish for entry or say bye, attitude and face they make towards Indian looking people was very unacceptable."

Nadelen: "My preselected isle seat in the third row, where there is usually more legroom, got switched without notice, and at boarding time I was given a middle seat a lot further back."

Nadelen: "I missed my connecting flight in Turkey as flight was delayed. It was my worst flight experience because nobody wanted to help me. It took an hour of being ignored by various TA staff to eventually get my boarding pass to the next available flight to London. I nearly missed that one as well because of it. The staff in Turkey was rude and unhelpful and most didn’t understand English properly. There were a number of others having the same issues, it was an awful experience."

Nadelen: "They give you very little leg room. The seat in front of you touches your knees. After 8 hours in the same position it feels like you are stuck in a coffin or a primatial medieval torture device. The seat begins to hurt your back. You can't get in a comfortable position. You can't turn left or right. There's a little foot rest that gives you 10 minutes of relief but then that gets uncomfortable. If one of the people seated in with the inner row needs to use the restroom then the whole row needs to get up. It's cruel and unusual punishment. The airline just needs to expand the rows by 6 inches. Before you go bring a neck pillow and a butt cushion. Or better yet, pick a seat located in a front section that gives you more leg room. If you have the option then this should be a higher priority over a window seat. You will thank me for this advice."
