Nadelen: "Information on when we can check in on upcoming flights. Other airlines we have booked for flights will email us 24 hours prior to departure. Virgin Atlantic did not. I had to call and I was directed to their web site and was able to check in on line. Thanks"

Nadelen: "We were bussed to the plane, there were long dark hairs on my pillow, and they are generous with snacks at close intervals, but the food could be much better. The ideas are cute, but the actual food is pretty basic, which is disappointing for Virgin, who I hold in high regard. Or did."

Nadelen: "I did not like the fact that my seat was between 2 small children that belonged to a family sitting behind me .It was ridiculous to put a stranger on a 10 hour flight with a 3yrar old on one side and a 5 year old on the other"

Nadelen: "I had to run for almost 2 miles every time I had to change the flight. On the way to India they lost my one bag, and on the way back to US they lost my both begs."

Voordelen: "Checking in at the counter even I wasn't allocated a seat but the gentleman was very humble and polite."
Nadelen: "The fact that I was told I would be given a seat at the boarding gate. I got to the airport very early to get a good seat only to be that and was given a very uncomfortable seat where I couldn't stretch my legs well because of a box on the floor situated to my left leg and to make the matter even more annoying my screen was not working which I was forced to take one heavy meant-so-called laptop. And finally cabin crew were lacking serious customer service and when u ask for something they were just so reluctant to deliver as if we were given a free ticket or something. May it be noted that my ticket was not that cheap to be treated in such manner."

Nadelen: "Once In London, we were told by British Airways that was flying us to Nice that Delta had “lost” our infant electronic ticket - It took 1.5h to get new ticket reissued! We missed our connection and had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight - We were somewhat lucky as multiple flights were delayed/cancelled that day - I will avoid using Virgin Atlantic in the future as they need Delta and British operate their flights and this makes it prone to issues like that"

Nadelen: "Food was hard and little stale."

Voordelen: "Quite a big choice of movies and TV shows to watch, more than enough for an eight hour flight. Normal headphone plugs so you can use your own."
Nadelen: "I booked together with my wife, yet we were allocated seats apart and were not able to be reassigned together. The leg room was so tight that I could not pick up things off the floor without putting my head in the next persons lap. Though the cabin crew were smiley and friendly, it was hard to get their attention when needed. The PA system is much louder than the entertainment, so announcements were ear bursting. The dinner selections ran out early, so a good proportion did not get their choice."

Voordelen: "I like flying Virgin whether Australia or Atlantic!"

Voordelen: "Even it was a 12-13hrs flight, I had been my best flight ever in a long flight. Virgin really exeeced my expectations."

Nadelen: "We were told over the phone that we could bring our kayaks with us to Africa but the airport staff denied not only our kayaks, but also our paddles which were in a standard ski bag. Their excuse was that both the kayaks and paddle bags were 2 inches too long. .. TWO INCHES!!!!!! We had record of the person we talked to and the time and date, but none of that seemed to matter. It caused A HUGE INCONVENIENCE for us since we are in Zambia for 6 weeks without our gear to paddle one of the most challenging rivers in the world... the Zambezi. Now we are constantly trying to acquire the proper equipment with very little success. We run a nonprofit called the Montana Kayak Academy which provides free whitewater instruction to youth between 8 &18 yrs old and we will be sure to tell everyone we know to NOT TRAVEL WITH EITHER VIRGIN ATLANTIC OR BRITISH AIRWAYS.... EVER!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Nadelen: "The 787 has vastly inadequate Economy toilets - ONLY 4! For 200 passengers. Inadequate lighting for,boarding, unable to activate reading lights until AFTER TAKEOFF = groping in semi darkness, BAD! No window blinds = woken up by blazing sun in middle of 11 hr night flight, even with sleeping pills my sleep was wrecked, even with eyemask. Passengers penned in on narrow aisles by trolleys, unable to walk around plane & risk of DVT. Passengers disempowered by restricted space, lighting, mobility. I want more control over my personal mobility &, lighting. Horrible headsets (bring my own). This flight departed 2.5 HRs LATE from JHB & the crew & cavin service was SLOW. NO requested second cup of tea brought - I waited 20 mins & climbed over trolleys to get another one, even though it was requested of cabin crew. Do they just ignore us? Or forget?"

Voordelen: "Virgin has the nicest staff, good food, and excellent movie options. I had a great time on my flight!"

Nadelen: "They tried checking my carryon luggage because they said it was overweight and it would be $130. This is absurd, especially since it isn't going to change in weight by getting checked. I refused to pay this amount. The flight was also 3 hours delayed, almost missed my connection back to the states from SYD. Other international flights offer free meal service, you were lucky if you got water on this flight and had to pay for any snacks."

Voordelen: "Flight crew were awesome! I got super sick with Bali belly and the crew did everything in their ability to comfort me."
Nadelen: "Sitting in the galley vomiting for 6h. Flight was completely packed since flights the day before had been canceled, but a full flight isn't really something you can complain about."

Nadelen: "First flight (to Istanbul) delayed, and nobody cared to help with making connecting flight booked on the same Turkish Airlines (THY)! Different THY employees sent me to three (3) different places (with two suitcases in hand) at opposite ends of the huge Istanbul airport before finally pointing to the Business Lounge and causing my missing the connection. Had they directed me correctly and cared about my first delay, I would not have missed it. I lost the first-night pay at the hotel of my final destination, my friends lost their time and money on making trips to pick me up, my ailing relatives were in pieces worrying about me, and so on. In sum, a fun trip (NOT!) ... If you care for some details, here you go... They did not inform their own connecting flight about my delay. Despite issuing me a boarding pass, nobody was looking for me or announcing where I should go. I spent an hour running around the airport at THY employees' misdirections. Business Lounge revealed I was already issued a ticket for next morning's flight (without informing me via my email they had or otherwise). I then looked at their own monitor and saw a much earlier flight the same night on a partner airline. I had to point to that flight, and they issued me a ticket there. No apology, no offer of any compensation. I understand that flights may delay, and I could forgive an honest mistake in misdirection. But this was a wide-spread incompetence and utter unwillingness to help their own business class (!) customer. I can only imagine what pains the economy travelers had to endure! Just to give you a flavor, after realizing that my connecting flight was boarding (when my delayed first flight arrived in Istanbul), I asked the crew to direct me to the best route to my connection. They pointed to the gate personnel. The gate personnel who greeted us DID NOT KNOW about my connection and sent me to the opposite side of the airport without notifying the connecting flight to wait for me. No help/transport was offered. When I made my way to the connecting gate with my luggage, the flight was gone. Nobody to be found from THY around the gate. A neighboring THY gate's employee directed me to the "Care Point" desk far away. A sizable line emerged there, with only two agents working it. I asked one of them if business class was served there. They said, "Yes, get in line, please". After 30 minutes in that line, I approached a "Care Point" agent (a cruel name for no-care-whatsoever service) who told me "You need to go to the business class desk upstairs. Economy only here!" No apology, no expression of concern, yelling "Next!" when I told her that I wasted 30 minutes of valuable time in line at their direction and would appreciate her doing something to help or making sure I reach the right person. Off to the "business desk" I go... another 15-min. run in a different direction with luggage in hand. That desk could not help either...ARGHH. Do I need to continue?.."

If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

I am a Diabetic and needed it for circulation. I did not say anything but, the stewardess should have made one of the people go back to their seat as he was wedged near the window and sitting on the floor. It made my 13.25 hours trip very uncomfortable. They had a child with them so, I didn't wish to complain while on board."

Nadelen: "The Turkish Airlines staff can be very rude, non-communicative in passing along information. They do not like you to ask questions nor do they want to answer your questions. They yell at you or just simply ignore you. No legroom. The crew did not mention that are flight was delayed prior or that we missed our connecting flight and what to do from there. I was given a hotel room during my layover but its in a scary neighborhood and it smells like sewage is nearby. The Grand Yavaz. The cheaper price is not worth the hassle. I can spend my good money elsewhere...i will be sure to warn others."

Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

Nadelen: "Vol avec retard depuis geneve, ensuite vol annulé depuis Frankfurt, jlai mon voyage à duré 12h au total, avec un retard à l'arrivée au quel j'ai atterri à 23:15."

Nadelen: "Retard de l'avion ( 3-4 vols différents). Perte de mes bagages qui à entraîner un déplacement pour rien à l'étranger pour le travail vu que je n'avais pas le matériel de travail avec moi. Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Auncuns repas ou autre bois a été offert au moin pour s'excuser. Après avoir eu tous ces problèmes avec la même compagnie j'ai contacter à plusieurs reprises le service client qui m'a raccrocher au nez! On m'a dit qu'on me remboursait Le vol. Je n'ai jamais eu de nouvelles."

Did not seem to have enough crew. . . took forever to get the limited service - - crew seemed complacent - no enjoyment in their jobs - doing what they always do. Having enjoyed five years with Delta - I enjoyed my job and the people. No one seems to like their job now. Shame. Takes even more fun out of flying these days. It's a job - more people - more coffee - more sodas.... Don't LIKE it. . . give someone else the chance to fill that position. Flying Should be Fun. . . it's special!! every time."

Nadelen: "The flight attendant was arrogant. This is her job... just for $$$"

Nadelen: "They displayed for three hours something on TV, but the entire plane had no sound. When asked the crew will tell you to listen on channel 13 or 14. I told them there was no sound. I was sitting in First Class and went to check with a friend that was way back in Economy, same thing. So i told the that to the crewmember who just told me, sorry nothing I can do about. Which I can understand. What I don't understand is why they continued displaying a mute TV set for three hours. Why not just shut it off? BTW, my daughter flew from LA to Boston that same day and exactly the same thing happened on her plane."

Nadelen: "Had 2 plane tickets to Puerto Rico for my mom funeral But all the sudden my dad passed away one week before the date Iso a have to change the date They did charge me $200 and the other ticket was for my friend was my support he couldn't go cause he's job So I call and they said yes that they gonna help me with the refund all I need is a dead certificate so I send it the papers by email Now they telling me that they can't gave me the refund All my brothers and sisters didn't have no problem with South west air line and other airlines they understood the problem And they did everything without problems Worst service ever Not flying with them ever again"

Voordelen: "The flight to Miami was changed to Chicago but it was still comfortable. The seats were nice and having overhead tv was still nice."

Nadelen: "Poor entertainment but other than that it was a great flight until we got to Charlotte the ✈it was thousands of feets to make touchdown went took off again a was scary moment for all the passengers."

Nadelen: "Very poor service and staff attention...the food is horrible, even worse than Ryanair, Easyjet, etc..."

Nadelen: "Missed my transfer in London because the plane took too long to unboard and I was unable to make it to the gates of my next flight in time, despite there being over an hour connection time. The flight came in slightly late and passports were re-inspected upon unboarding which wasted a lot of time, and Heathrow is a nightmare of an airport on a good day, which made it very difficult to get where I needed to go."

Nadelen: "Seats are too close together, very uncomfortable for long international flight"

Nadelen: "One of the best flights is had. Love A340 and the crew and service definitely better than AA or BA by far."

Nadelen: "No food, no drink, no entertainment were included with this fare. Thankfully we were so exhausted from the long haul flight immediate preceding this flight that we did not care. I'm not sure why but the gate staff was trying to get everyone to check their smaller bags including our backpacks. My husband gave in but I did not since not having them would be disaster during this trip. His backpack and many bags from other customers came about 15 minutes after the rest of the luggage so we were a little panicked. Thankfully all turned out fine."

Nadelen: "Absurd weinig beenruimte. Alleen geschikt voor mensen kleiner dan 1.50m. Je kunt het best de hele vlucht op het toilet gaan zitten. Dit was één keer, maar nooooit weer!!! Sterk af te raden!!"

Nadelen: "Belachelijk weinig beenruimte, waardoor ik niet eens recht in m’n stoel kon zitten!"

Nadelen: "The price was not matching the benefits of the ticket because it was without check in bag (luggage) and every single thing you have to pay The type of aircraft there are using its too small business class is very poor nothing to compare with other company."

Nadelen: "I stopped at the Iberia check-in at Barajas in Madrid. They sent me to BA check-in, where I waited 45 minutes to find out that I should be at Iberia check-in. Then, Iberia check-in had to send me to last minute clerk or I would have missed my flight. Last minute check-in ended up being the same place and same clerk I began with."

Voordelen: "Good on board movies."
Nadelen: "Start boarding with the last row, not the 1st row - so people settling into the 1st rows do not hold up the people trying to reach the higher rows."

Nadelen: "No ability to do online checkin both websites were not working."

Voordelen: "Entertainment content was good and made the long trip more pleasant. I got a seat in the emergency exit and had lots of space for my legs. Alleys are quite narrow although and the crew was bumping into my arm quite often but overall seating experience was good."
Nadelen: "Boarding was very unorganized. It was difficult to understand the groups that were supposed to board. Overal check in process took too long. I arrived to the airport 3 hours in advance and finally made it to the gate when boarding started. Food can be improved as well. Had the pasta with spinach which consisted in some tortellini with very greasy cheese and way too many peppers. Second meal consisted in a sad croissant with ham and cheese."

Nadelen: "The flight crew only cared about their first class passengers."

Nadelen: "Boarding was a zoo! The stewardess in business class was very rude. The food could be less starchy."

Nadelen: "Very bad check-in, families have priority...also if they have 16 years old "kids". They couldn't print the boarding pass for the connecting flight, no water, no coffee, dirty plane, my baggage arrived destroyed (open in half), they promised to ship it the day after and it was a lie."

Nadelen: "Outbound flight TO Paris was cancelled."

Nadelen: "It was not British Airways, they put us on Iberia."

Voordelen: "Lie-flat seats were very comfortable. Flight was quite smooth. Left late but arrived on schedule. Wine was very good."
Nadelen: "Food was disappointing. IFE was so-so. Baggage handling was very slow on arrival."

Voordelen: "Staff was friendly, bathrooms kept clean, and seats were comfortable. Entertainment was top notch."
Nadelen: "We kept trying to order water and food from our screens but the process was complicated, long, and ultimately didn't work. The system is buggy."

Nadelen: "When we arrived at AirPort El Dorado, we discovered that our flight was cancelled/has been changed without warning us! They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"

Nadelen: "Stewards keep trying to speak in Spanish to you. Every time again you have to ask to repeat in English."

Nadelen: "I am still waiting for my luggage. It was lost between the flight from Amsterdam to Madrid and a flight from Madrid to San Juan. It is already 1 week."

Nadelen: "The plan was dirty inside when we board, it was not cleaned"

Nadelen: "I do not like that I can't check onnline. They mention that because the reservation with Fianair, I only can do the cheking at the desk."

Voordelen: "Love Kayak. Everything excelkent."
