I had an exchange ticket from Qatar airways, which meant I had the boarding pass for the Alaska airways flight. It took 40 minutes to get me and another passenger onto the flight because it didn’t have us listed as a passenger on the flight.

Check in took over 2 hours because the agent had no experience with dealing with declared transport of unloaded firearms. Not surprising in a country where that is rare. She should have been able to call for some help from someone with more authority or experience. She stated I need a reservation for the handgun and ammunition. No information was given to me by the World Police & Fire Games that a "reservation" for my handgun and ammo would be needed. When I checked ahead of time there was no information about a "reservation" needed in Virgin Atlantic's web site or Delta's web site dealing with firearms.

Transfer at LAX stressful die to short time available and massive queue- helped by wonderful customer service agent. Flight LAX to Tuscon uneventful and comfortable.

ne jamais voler avec Virgin en partage avec une autre compagnie

All went well but puzzled as to why our booked and paid for trip cost us 600 pounds more due to a change of planes by Virgin Atlantic which was done at last minute.

Tous les vols fonctionnent maintenant comme les arnaques low cost et c'est dommage. Une valise en soute coute une fortune, un centimetre de siege en plus est un vendu a un tarif de dingue. en prenant un billet sur virgin, géré par Delta, donc une vraie compagnie, nous ne pensions pas que meme demander a etre assis ensemble serait quelque part payant. en effet notre tarif ne nous permettait pas de s'enregistrer avant. donc une fois au guichet plus de sieges ensemble. dans l'avion ? fauteuil ridicule pour tasser plus de passager , comme dans les vols bas de gamme, pas de boisson avant le repas, mais des bouteilles de cristalline que meme les chauffeurs uber ont arreté de donner. Et c'est une canette de coca pour 3 passagers, ben oui on va pas vous filer la cannette quand meme. Pour un vole a 1200 balles c'est vraiment abusé

The flight was three hours late because of a problem with the door. I nearly missed my next flight because of that.

Accueil scandaleuse pour l’escale courte à Manchester

Didn’t enjoy this flight at all, we were separated from our kids even though there were empty seats next to them. The quality of the food was terrible, dry, tasteless and just awful. The entertainment system didn’t work and kept freezing, i had to ask 5 different members of the crew to reset it. The crew looked dis-interested in their work and didn’t want to be there, this is the first time I flown with Delta, and I really regret taking this flight, I will definitely not be booking with them again.

The quality of the food was terrible and below a normal standard, the entertainment screen kept breaking down, had to keep reminding the staff several times to fix it. The toilets were dirty, the seats were very uncomfortable, I think this is one of the worst flights I have been on and really shocked how Delta is associated with Virgin Airlines, who are of such high standard and a much better flying experience.

Un retard énorme dû aux contrôles à Manchester… Mais l’avion a attendu… c est sympa ! Vol très bien, nourriture infecte… annoncés uniquement en américain, on ne comprend rien. Les stewards devraient apprendre à parler distinctement, d autant si il y avait beaucoup d étrangers à bord…

Presque 4h de retard, valise arrivée abîmée

Being able to fly direct from Seattle to London made a long trip less arduous. The flight was efficient, decently comfortable, and well-priced.

I enjoyed my flight, very comfortable and good communication.I liked the fact that there was acknowledgement of staff shortage and reassurance to provide excellent service! Shout to Ian and colleagues who helped me find a window seat, my phone and passport i miss placed when i had a little panic.please do share this with virgin atlantic !!!! The Pilot was the best!

Les fauteuils beaucoup trop étroit, pour une personne musclé. Aussi n'on les hôtesses on était formidable avec nous ,encore un grand merci

Places réservées sur kayak avec option grande place . Non respecté. Confort abominable sur le vol retour. Vol de départ annulé cause Covid seulement quelques heures avant le départ. Incertitude pour un vol de replacement, finalement obtenu 12 heures après . Merci kayak: plus jamais chez vous.

Personnel très professionnelle et à l’écoute des besoins des passagers. Repas assez bien, surtout salade fraîche. Proposition de plats aux légumes pourrait améliorer l’expérience pour les personnes qui ne mangent pas de pâtes. Globalement tout s’est très bien passé.

Un enregistrement compliqué comme à l aller. Un passager n'avait pas d attribution du e ticket par la compagnie. Pas de check in en ligne possible . Personnel un peu désorganisé

5 hour delay on the runway

The new business class configuration isn't the best. Knees keep bumping. The seat area wasn't the cleanest either. There was an orange peel on the floor. Meal - mediocre.

Voordelen: "I like the professional approach of the airline and the staff. Seats are really comfortable and i did not need my sleeping pillow at all as the headrest of my seat was already so comfortable."
Nadelen: "There is not much which i did not like about this airline. Just like other airlines, now have started feeling that Economy class travellers are being approached with bit biased approach in hospitality though they have major contribution in meeting flight running expenses. All airlines should start considering this fact and improve the overall approach."
Nadelen: "at last minute itinerary was changed.. instead of routing through Brisbane, was now routed through Sydney. Flight from Sydney to LAX was delayed by 4 hours, then missed flight LAX to LAS... overall long delayed arrival. Checked the route through Brisbane, and those flights we're all there, departed and landed all on-time... so wondering what the reason was for the change of the itinerary without a cause (no cancel or delayed flights through Brisbane)"
Voordelen: "My flight was canceled and Virgin Atlantic gave us a free room in the hotel Ramada. My next flight was at 18:55 and I asked Virgin Atlantic agent am I allowed to stay in the room until time for my flight comes, he confirmed yes and gave me breakfast, lunch, and dinner voucher. However, next day around 12 I got call from Front Desk that I have to leave my room right away because it's time to chack out and If I want to stay longer I have to pay. I called Virgin Atlantic agancy again and the agent run my information and said to me I can stayin the room longer. After that I called front desk to confirm that but they said they didn't hear anything from Virgin Atlantic and I have to leave the room by 1pm. All of this was really unpleasant!"

Virgin checked bags all the way through, even though tickets were unrelated (and my online checkin said I would have to recheck baggage for second flight)."
Nadelen: "Seats are small in economy. I was lucky it was not a full flight, so I had two seats. The entertainment system was a. It confusing to manage, but the choices were good. Food was ok; but not worse than would expect."

Nadelen: "No option to book food option 24 hours before as could check in could not been done earlier than 24 hours before flight. I logged exactly 24 hrs before filled in details which took a few minutes by that time said too late to book special meal."
Voordelen: "Talk about an awesome experience. I loved the friendly staff and the accommodations were superb. I could ask for no better. Even the food was excellent."

Nadelen: "Not many good recent movies / shows on in flight entertainment. Food was okay. But, the quantity was too little. It took a really long time for a second boarding pass check at London airport. Other airlines don't usually ask for a second check in"

Nadelen: "Once In London, we were told by British Airways that was flying us to Nice that Delta had “lost” our infant electronic ticket - It took 1.5h to get new ticket reissued! We missed our connection and had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight - We were somewhat lucky as multiple flights were delayed/cancelled that day - I will avoid using Virgin Atlantic in the future as they need Delta and British operate their flights and this makes it prone to issues like that"

Nadelen: "as far as a seat in coach goes, you're getting a pretty good deal. obviously flying 14 hours across the pacific is pretty rough and we would all like to fly first class, but as far as coach goes, I cant complain. only downside was that I had an exit seat, so tons of leg room, but couldn't use the entertainment while in taxi, takeoff and landing, where I could've squeezed another movie in, but its a safety thing and a fair trade for the extra room."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was uneventful, which is what you want from a flight. Once the connection was made the next day, the flight segment went perfectly."
Nadelen: "Flight was over 2 hours late leaving Lima, so many people missed connections in Miami, NOBODY from LATAM was at the gate to assist with how to make new connections or how to get local accommodations for the night. This was a customer service fail. American is no better. They rescheduled the flight at no cost, but then sent you back to LATAM for help with the overnight. If we buy tickets from your website and you own the process, you should be more helpful when there are problems. The back-and-forth was frustrating. Lima airport takes a long time to go through all the checkpoints. Two hours does not give enough time. There are at least four long lines that have to be endured. This process could use some streamlining."

Every step from check in to leaving on time went smoothly

L'arrogance et le mépris d'Air Canada fasse à plusieurs situations gênantes n'est pas acceptable pour compagnie qui a la prétention de jouer dans la cour des grands.

Flight comfortable but the de-boarding upon arrival at Pearson was dreadful: Crew told us that we would be called up row by row to exit and then did not follow their own instructions to passengers. The result was a chaotic mess like an episode out of Black Summer.

La boufe L’équipage

Flight was efficient, left and arrived early. Good selection of entertainment, reasonable amount of seating space even though the flight was full. Only blemish was at check in, where the agent demanded to see our proof of vaccination in physical form (my wife didn't have hers). This was shocking because we had uploaded the documents for the round trip through the AC website, and received confirmation from AC. Eventually she settled for an ArriveCan receipt. Thankfully I had completed that process. Why do we need to submit proof of vaccination forms to AC if the agents are not able to use that information?

This was an excellent flight with very few people on board. Only issue was the 30 minute departure delay and this was communicated well so we weren't left hanging. Traveler communications in Cancun airport aren't the best, but that isn't AC's fault.

Aucun surclassement offert durant le vol tandis que la famille à côté de moi était malade 4. Ils ont perdus mon bagage à main alors que l'agence de bord m'avait promis de ne pas le perdre lorsque je lui ai demandé. Ils m'ont retiré mon bagage à main puisque ma petite valise que je transportais n'entrait pas sous le siège. L'agence de bord est parti avec mon bagage contentant tous mes médicaments, ma couverture et une partie de mes vêtements et c'est la dernière fois que j'ai vu ma valise. Lorsque je suis arrivé à Bruxelles, mon bagage à main qui fut placé en soute n'était pas à destination et j'ai pleuré toutes les larmes de ma vie."

Voordelen: "I was just a little bit shocked because there were nothing to eat included.. I didn’t know that that kind of flight didn’t include anything.. But despite of that it was ok.."

Nadelen: "The flight was operated by Air Canada, who habitually assume either that the people in the final row have no hand luggage or simply suffer from a severe lack of operational storage capacity. Overhead bins full of spare plastic cups. As far as the crew are concerned, no problem, because you can just push your way three or four rows forward while everyone else is boarding and then take someone else's overhead space. When will Air Canada learn how to run an airline?"

Voordelen: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Nadelen: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."

Nadelen: "Le personnel était mal aimable. Pas de sourire, pas de formules de politesse. J'adore air Canada mais l'équipage que j'ai eu pour ce vol ne reflétait pas du tout un esprit de service. Et ma valise n'a pas suivi jusqu'à Paris ! J'ai du annuler une partie de mes vacances!"

The airlines did not make the connecting flight for me, nor for probably 190+ passengers. They were not able to make alternate arrangements for most passengers. I ended up paying for alternate conveyance out of pocket. This type of treatment of paying customers deserves a class action lawsuit. Corporations think they can get away with this, and won’t care unless it hurts their bottom line. When they get sued enough, they’ll start caring about serving the people who pay them the money that enables them to exist as a company. The people working at the United check-in worked hard, but the task was understaffed. Possibly the airport at Brussels is to blame also. Their government feels it’s imperative to do a passport control of everyone connecting to flights, who don’t leave the transit area. This is unheard of at most airports. Passport control and customs if for people leaving the transit area. Their irresponsible slowdown cost millions of dollars, to hundreds of people in just one flight. Perhaps they deserve a class action lawsuit at The Hague and shame in the press to reverse their ridiculous policy. I wonder how many hundreds of people were affected by this policy.

3 hours on the tarmac before take off (for a 7 hour flight). We were told they were working on the wi-fi. Why does that merit making 500 people 3 hours late?? They never fixed the wifi, we had no entertainment.

Avons acheté 3 vols avec United. 2 des ces vols étaient exploités par air Canada. En conséquence, aucune communication entre les 2 compagnies. Avons passé près de 2h au comptoir service pour qu'ils réussissent à imprimer nos billets, malgré qu'ils ont été acheter plusieurs mois plus tôt. L'employé du service a clientèle united de l'aéroport de Newark terminal A n'a rien fait pour nous aider et a offert un service médiocre (mauvaise attitude etc).
