Kayak has not issued me a ticket for my second leg. And no one responds to me. Horrible service never again.
Latam never said that I needed a PCR test 24 hours prior to traveling. I got an email saying “72 hours”. I had to leave the airport in Santiago, pay $45 for a taxi and pay $50 for a rapid test and then rush back to the airport. The Santiago flight left late and I lost my JFK connection to SFO. Alaska air couldn’t help. I had to buy a new ticket

Voordelen: "It was on time and boarding was efficient. I’ve never been on a flight where they board window seats first, then middle, then aisle. I can see how that makes a lot of sense and makes the process better."
Nadelen: "I wasn’t sure why my small rolling luggage was being tagged and told to be left at the gate. Others had their rolling pieces brought onto the plane and there was enough room, so I was a little worried about if someone was going through it or if it would make it to the destination. It did show up."
Nadelen: "Smell at shit all the flight. Horrible."

A bag which I’ve used for hundreds of flights as a carry on “weighed too much” and suddenly required checkin with a charge despite it being a carry on for the first leg. No one could explain to me the difference of the weight in the overhead versus the belly of the plane. I will NEVER fly LATAM again and will make sure that I spend a lot more than $30 for all of my future travels in their region. Too bad that their rules are designed to steal from the customer. I won’t be fooled again."

Después tardaron 1.30 hrs en poner maletas en la banda. Total 2 horas para salir del aereopuerto."

Voordelen: "My first flight on LATAM and very impressed. Fast boarding, lots of help for an English speaking passenger in Chile, newer plane, clean, and efficient flight attendants. I'll be back!"
Nadelen: "Poor service. Not too friendly crew. I normally fly American but being myself Chilean, I thought I'd give Latam a chance but was disappointed. I was travelling with my daughter and 2 yr old grandaughter and felt that they didn't give us any special attention in regards to baby.I used to be a flight attendant and In my day the standards of service were SO MUCH HIGHER!! I Will not fly Latam next time."
Voordelen: "The crew was fabulous! Competent and very helpful, even funny when serving food and drinks! I fly very frequently but this was one of the nicest crews I had in years!"
Nadelen: "Boarding was disorganized and confusing, no where to sit at gate."

Nadelen: "Terrible terrible food- no TV (really? in 10 years flying to Colombia this was a first) seats were very uncomfortable, no room to move the legs, the seats were super old no room at all. I have traveled with LATAM before and I had good experiences, with no complains. But the flight from Bogota to Miami on may 29th was mediocre and it seems longer than it was. That plane should be used for shorter flights and not a 4 hour international flight. I am not expecting first class seats and 5 course meals. But for the same price I could have used other airlines."

Nadelen: "Had minor technical problems with my headphones. However, my flight was not crowded and was able to use the empty seat next to mine to watch a movie."

Voordelen: "Every employee is super helpful and the airline is family friendly. Airplanes are always new and clean. The meals are always good as far as airplane food goes. They have a generous baggage policy and unlike other airlines the airport departure tax is included in the fare. They serve the customers unlike the domestic airlines."
Nadelen: "Overhead bins on the inside rows are a bit on the small side."

Nadelen: "I was charged 200 dollars to transport a 400 dollars surfboard. This makes it prohibitive for anyone to travel with our entertainment equipment. It should only qualify as sport equipment for remunerated athletes, not amateurs like me."
Voordelen: "The flight was smooth and the crew was courteous."
Nadelen: "After about 40 minutes of waiting in line to check in almost all employees left and left just one person to check people in. Not sure what happened as the employees pretended not to speak English. Also, everybody in our group was given seat multiple rows apart."

Voordelen: "Flight schedule, inflight service and food in couch was amazingly the best I had in a long time. The entertainment was delightful. The telephone service for questions, while in Peru, was terrible. My flight reservation number was changed and I needed to talk to someone. I had to call the States help line instead of the local number which had a non working automated answering menu."

Embarquement à Malaga à 16h50 au lieu de 15h35. Arrivée à Palma de Majorque à 18h20 pour une correspondance à 18h15. Nous avons donc logiquement manqué notre correspondance en direction de Marseille. AirEuropa nous a laissé sans solutions dans Majorque. INADMISSIBLE
Voordelen: "Très bon service (avantages Sky Team): excellent check-in et personnel à bord. Tout le parcours a l’aéroport était parfait: enregistrement, embarquement, livraison bagages). Cabine business agréable."
Nadelen: "Malgré la crise sanitaire, une bouteille d’eau à bord aurait été un plus."
Voordelen: "Très bon personnel de bord, check-in et embarquement très rapides!"
Nadelen: "When I booked my flight I was never asked if I wanted to include a piece of luggage so I assumed it was covered, and then I got charged $120 for it at the check-in desk. No apologies whatsoever from the lady, who was pretty rude. I will never fly with them again since the service is not great and this charge made the overall cost of the trip more expensive than traveling with a better airline."

Nadelen: "Normalement, les vols long courriers offrent toujours des bagages en soute. Apparemment ce n'est pas le cas de air Europa. Cependant, cette information n'a été clair nulle part. J'ai dû payer taxe de 150$ à l'aéroport pour cette malhonnêteté. Exactement la même remarque concernant la nourriture. Il n'y eu aucun moment durant la réservation où l'on a pu choisir notre régime alimentaire. Étant végétarien j ai recu un plat avec viande. Le staff m'a dit qu'il fallait appeler la compagnie auparavant, comment le deviner ? De plus, le petit dejeuner était composé de un ridicule sandwich jambon fromage. J'ai demandé pour changer et dit que du jambon au petit déjeuner n'était pas nécessaire mais on m'a répondu avec insolence que c'était un petit déjeuner "normal"! Le service avant même l'embarquement était médiocre et désagréable. A bord, le staff parlaient quasiment exclusivement en espagnol alors que le vol venait du Brésil. A bord, on nous informe sur pour pouvoir regarder des films, il faut télécharger une application car il n'y a pas d'écran disponible. Une fois a bord les réseaux ne fonctionnent généralement pas! Alors le staff propose un iPad a 10€ ?? C'est une action plus que malhonnête!! Informez vos clients à l'avance."

Nadelen: "1) Aircraft overall conditions. Aircraft interior needs to be refurbished. The quality of the food served was under normal standards. 2) Boarding of the aircraft was not well organized 3) Aircraft departure scheduled time shown on the screens differed from actual boarding pass printed time thus creating confusion."

Nadelen: "Some of the crew lacks interpersonal relations and after some time they stoped their rounds. The flight office said there are 3 meals and we have been served barely 2. One hot meal and one piece of brad after. They gave others snacks but didnt offered to all the same."
Voordelen: "Give food twice, a blanket and a pillow"
Nadelen: "I had to pay for a sandwich and a drink. Absurd. Just add 10 euro to the flight tickets and i'll be glad to pay but don't charge me extra for a sandwich for God's sake ! Next time I'll choose British Airways or Air France."
Nadelen: "I booked a flight from Lisbon to JFK with a stopover in Madrid. Instead of going to JFK, my flight landed in Boston. There was no AirEuropa representative in Boston. The state police told all of the passengers that we were considered stranded and that we had to figure it out ourselves and then seek reimbursement from AirEuropa. I had to take a greyhound bus in the middle of the night to get to NYC. It's as terrible as it sounds. I am filing a complaint with AirEuropa"

Nadelen: "We were not allowed to check in online and we had to be at the airport hours to check in physically but there was no counter with airEuropa, so we had to wait until the people arrived then we had to make line which was long! We had issues with our bags so we had to check them in, which was okay since it was free. The space in the airplane was so tight that it was not comfortable at all."

The captains explained the turbulence BEFORE it happened. Hence, making us feel safe. The flights were on time. The MOVIES selection were excellent. Do BRING YOUR OWN EAR BUDS. The only negatives are: the Madrid airport food was HORRIBLE; WOULD LIKE MORE ROOM in between the following row."
