Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "My flight was delayed, and the wrong gate was initially listed for my connecting flight, causing me to miss my flight. I asked to transfer to the next flight, but the staff there argued with me and refused to do so, saying I must purchase another ticket. I was forced to purchase a visa, go through passport processing, and purchase a new ticket that cost nearly as much as my entire round trip ticket from the US. I then had to pay to stay overnight in a hotel and had to make alternate arrangements to meet my hosts when I finally reached my destination."

Nadelen: "First and foremost we were astonished and angered that the cabin crew would not allow any window shades to be open during the day- long flight. That is unhealthy and exacerbates the jet lag phenomena. An airplane is not a hotel and you have eye masks and such readily available for people sleeping. Oh, and I also like to look out the window! For this reason I am looking for another airline to fly for our semi annual trips overseas."

I am 6'1" and 190 lbs and asked for exit row and they both told me all of them gone already. The thing is funny when I asked checking in was just began. After boarding I realized some exit sits are available. As a Turkish man who worked JFK for.Turkish airlines, I think this was awful experience. Turkish airlines and passengers deserve better service and honest employees"

Nadelen: "The Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul is discrageful, and changing flights there is always a horrible experience. But this is not, of course, the fault of THY. The airport is simply too small for the current number of flights."

Nadelen: "There were enormous crowds at Sabiha Gökçen airport. The flight connections were late due to bad weather, and I nearly missed my connection to Brussels. There was no information and no help, and the gate was already closed. The people at the ground terminal knew no foreign languages. All they could say was 'I do not know. This is not my responsibility'. Completely disorganised."

Voordelen: "I was surprised how comfortable it was to spend 12 hours seated in an economy seat in a flight from Sao Paulo to Istanbul! It´s the widest coach seat I know!"

The flight was not full passengers flying solo, like myself, could have benefitted from better seating arrangements. for example some passengers had an entire row of seats to themselves while people like me were stuck next to a window seat with a talkative passenger for 11 hours"

Nadelen: "Entertainment in the whole plain did not work. At arrival we waited about 30 min before exiting the plain."

Nadelen: "Boarding process was delayed and there were no updates to tell us about it. I was feeling ill and asked a crew member for water she told me she would run and get it and I saw her walking around for 45 minutes before I asked her again and it took her another 30 minutes. In that time I watched her fulfill requests for headphones and other unecessary items. We were sat directly behind a screaming baby and directly in front of 3 wildly misbehaving children for the entire 10 hr flight. The crew allowed the family behind us to sit 5 people to the 4-person row, including a 7-year old sitting on the mom's lap who kicked seats and pulled my hair over the top of the seat. I recognize that misbehaved children are not the fault of the airline but it seems like in the future grouping families with children together might be a resolution. We went 10 hours without sleep because the kids kept kicking our seats and sticking their feet through our armrests. The airline also offered zero vegetarian food options for this flight (unlike others which offered pasta). We went 10 hrs having eaten a single bread roll and a bowl of pudding. After these two flights I'll likely never fly Turkish again."

I find the seat average in comfort for premium economy. If only the seat would move forward, I keep sliding off it. Cathay Pacific has a much better seat."

Had to go so far between the two gates that had the flight from Seattle not been 30 minutes early and the plane to Barcelona posted as 10 minutes later than originally stated, we would have missed the connecting flight."

Nadelen: "Despite calling 2 weeks ahead of the flight, I did not have a vegetarian meal for this flight or the leg from SFO to Frankfurt. The other flights had the correct meal selection. The plane did not have private screens, only access to personal devices, but it was difficult to keep my device charged to watch a full movie. With an 11 hour flight, that was definitely disappointing."

Nadelen: "Lines for boarding not clear. Some were asked to go in the front and there was some confusion. Worst part - 3 family members were seated at different places and it was very difficult to make sure senior citizen travelling with me was alright, got food on time, took her medicines, etc. At the desk when I asked to be seated together, we were told to ask in the flight and in the flight they were unable to help."

Nadelen: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Voordelen: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Nadelen: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Voordelen: "expedited check in with nice staff. Security staff were pleasant, and the entire check in process for everything was easy"

No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."

Nadelen: "Leg space. There was very little leg space. One hour before the flight departure they were already announcing 'last call' on the airport screens."

Nadelen: "Undisclosed charges for bags and a check on that lasted over 30 minutes and my entire family ogn6 people were scattered throughout plane with absolutely no effort to put young kids next to parents"

Nadelen: "After getting off the shuttle to board the plane via stairs, men at the bottom and top of the stairs both stopped everyone and refused anyone to board. We were stuck on the tarmac for around 2-3 minutes. No entertainment options during the flight. No free food. Only water."

When I finally was able to sleep, she didnt wake me up for breakfast even when I especifically asked to be awakened. And than replied that she wasnt able to wake me. Awful service for executive."

Nadelen: "Look for alternatives. This airline used to be good, but they grew too much and now is really bad. Overall experience was very bad. Evaluate low cost competition. Today they are much better than LATAM"

Nadelen: "offering some free snacks and soda (3 hour flight, other than water, everything else is charged). An online entertainment system that actually works."

Voordelen: "The entertainment options were good, my device connected immediately, and the movie started right away (while the boarding process was being completed)."

Nadelen: "I've flown a lot of different business class flights in my time and these are the narrowest I've ever seen. I am not overweight but I felt very restricted in these seats. Add to the narrow seats is the design of the seat and armrests themselves and you don't have much space at all. No way I was going to be able to work on my laptop in this LATAM business class seat."

Nadelen: "Lack of food!! LATAM you are doing it wrong"

Voordelen: "I liked almost all!!!"
Nadelen: "The sandwich (cool meal)... The may improve it..."

Voordelen: "Said Paulo airport was chaos but flight was great"

Nadelen: "No entertainment. The airplane seems to be an older model."

Nadelen: "1 hour delay with no email or other notification. Flight number changed with no notification until check in. Electronic check in system was not working twice, perhaps due to international minors, had to wait in line in order to check in. The boarding pass for our connection from Rio to Miami was not given to us in Sao Paulo when we had to manually check in. As a result, we had to exit the secured area in Rio to go check in manually again for our connection and then go through security and customs again."

Nadelen: "Flight delayed well over an hour, Airport stuff unhelpful, Very below average."

Nadelen: "Three gate changes, the flight was delayed and the luggage was left outside in the rain. Recommend waterproofing when flying with Latam."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "It was nasty, disordered. Bad experience"

Voordelen: "there was way too little leg room and the seats went back too far. I love LAN and LATAM because the crew and cudtomer service are always EXCELLENT."
Nadelen: "Standing too long before boarding at 2am!"

Nadelen: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Nadelen: "Company was not able to understand situation and did not offer solution. I lost my money"

Nadelen: "Latam The website of Latam is useless. The services for people in broadcoast is so difficult that almost impossible (email, facebook, telephone, etc) In my case, i was in Africa and couldn´t change my ticket. My brother had to change it from Argentina."

Voordelen: "Staff was nice despite the situation."
Nadelen: "The flight was cancelled, we were reassigned to a Turkish Airlines flight that departed more than 6 hours later than our cancelled flight, we were given lunch but at a fast food restaurant even when we had to carry along all our luggage (super un-practical). And searching for info on twitter I found out this flight gets cancelled quite a lot."

Nadelen: "Not to have 2 distressed cats on board meowing non stop for 10 hours."

Voordelen: "La ponctualité."
Nadelen: "Variété des boissons proposées."

Voordelen: "Easy boarding, entertainment"
Nadelen: "Crew was not very friendly on bot departure and return flights. Will make me reconsider Air France in the future."

Nadelen: "Air France’s apathy towards its customers is shocking. Traveling with three children , our flight was delayed by 3hrs resulting us arriving in Paris after 1AM. With the airport shuttle(CDVAL) to our airport hotel closed, they offered no assistance despite of my request. Simply asked us to take a taxi (when all taxi stands are abandoned at 2AM). Beware if traveling with family."

Nadelen: "I may be wrong but these days, the staff curtsy and overall well coming approach is lacking! Just a smile and a few cheerful words can transform passengers’ mood greatly!! This becomes particularly important when one is traveling for > 9 hours back to back flights!! One can extra charge for it!!"

Voordelen: "Perfectly on time, no hassle, seat OK. This is the way I appreciate a flight."
Nadelen: "Food. No choice, three "madeleine" (sweet) cookies for all, no sugar-free (salty) alternative..."

Voordelen: "Despite being a short flight, they gave food"

Voordelen: "Food has improved a lot on business class. Meals are more creative."
Nadelen: "Water bottles not given out unless ou ask for it. Crew needs to better trained with how to handle business class..."

Nadelen: "I am not sure why this happened, but our daughter, travelling away from home for the first time, was targeted at every step of her journey. From the terminal in DCA to Cincinnati, to CDG. Delta/Air France clearly singled her out. i am outraged! I have traveled many, many times and have sent hundreds of students on nearly the same trip -- and none have had as rough a time as she had. They will be hearing from me."

Voordelen: "Comfortable, hospitality and wonderful service"

Nadelen: "Vlucht door vertraging van uit lax gemist op een paar minuten"

Nadelen: "Crew not only lacked sensibility to understand the purpose of an emotional support dog but kept harassing me about the dog being tied to my seat. At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."

Nadelen: "at no point when buying my ticket did the site say zero bags were included. In fact, when purchasing it said that information about baggage was not available.Shocked to have to pay 50 dollars for one bag. I am member of Flying Blue. One bag has always been included in the price of a ticket flying transatlantic."

Nadelen: "CDG is a monster. The distances are long . The signage is poor and when I asked for directions the diirections I got were wrong."

Voordelen: "Nothing."
Nadelen: "They loosed our reserved seats, our luggage, food was awful, ground staff was disrespectful."

Nadelen: "The company simply lets passengers board a fulled booked flight with far too much luggage. Result, take off 20 minutes late because there was not enough room for luggage in the overhead compartments. I was flying with just a small backpack that went under the seat"

Voordelen: "The crew, the service, the food and beverages"
Nadelen: "The 3 hours delay"

Voordelen: "Crew was professional and friendly. Plane was clean. And food was served quickly without the hassle of ordering from a menu and paying. And it was delicious. Best airline food I’ve had in a long time. The chocolate dessert was incredible. And a coffee to go with it. Made a three hour flight very pleasant."
Nadelen: "All airlines need to remove a row of seats and give everyone just a bit more legroom."

Nadelen: "Ran out of the (already not sufficient) salty crackers and, as the flight had been delayed, we had a one packet of cracker 'lunch' at noon... the flight really should have had a sandwich or at least something slightly more substantial."

Nadelen: "Plane late departing allegedly because of cleaning the plane, but why was the cleaning done that late? Also, ground crew remarkably uninformed about what was going on in the plane. Poor communication between plane and ground crew. No explanation from pilot as to continuing reason for delay even after we boarded. Departure time, 1.00 pm, boarded at 1.10, actual departure time 1.45, causing me to almost miss my connection and definitely causing my bags to miss the connection."
